All creation is groaning for the sons of God to be revealed (Romans 8:32). Even if you hate me and persecute me, deep inside your spirit, you know that I look like God and that your destiny is to be one like me, a child of His who owns everything. But maybe you can't control yourself, your sin, your desires, habits? Until you are born again, born of above, of the Spirit, until the power of sin is BROKEN with the application of the blood of your big brother Jesus Christ (which makes you a new creation by the way) then and only then are you able to SEE the Kingdom of truly believe. The greatest contention in heaven and on earth in the garden and in the Bible and in current politics and economics is the contention that you and I are exactly LIKE our father God in heaven. Satan was himself kicked out of heaven for wanting to be like God. Adam and Eve were tempted by the devil to be LIKE GOD. Jesus was tempted by the devil in the desert to be like God "if you are the son of God turn these stones into bread...". Similarly the number one thing that devil will attack is your Revelation that you are just LIKE GOD made in the image of God able to do all that he did and more. THESE words are found embedded in that gracious verse, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need"; they are a gem in a golden setting. True prayer is an approach of the soul by the Spirit of God to the throne of God. It is not the utterance of words, it is not alone the feeling of desires, but it is the advance of the desires to God, the spiritual approach of our nature towards the Lord our God. True prayer is not a mere mental exercise, nor a vocal performance, but it is deeper far than that-it is spiritual commerce with the Creator of heaven and earth. God is a Spirit unseen of mortal eye, and only to be perceived by the inner man; our spirit within us, begotten by the Holy Ghost at our regeneration, discerns the Great Spirit, communes with him, prefers to him its requests, and receives from him answers of peace. It is a spiritual business from beginning to end; and its aim and object end not with man, but reach to God himself.

What is Authority? Authority is ownership. Man was given ownership of the Earth so he had authority to name the animals. Jesus has authority to forgive sins because He owns you. If a King conquers a kingdom and chooses to give them citizenship in His Kingdom he has forgiven them. He even gives them land in His kingdom and allows them freedom. Authority cannot be separated from dominion. A policemen has no authority outside of his jurisdiction. A judge cannot rule in a foreign land. His jurisdiction and authority is related to the land he operates in. A government has authority and power over its people and land but not over other lands. A man has authority over his wife. A church over its members. A husband and wife are one body, one property owned by God. A church is one body the body of Christ owned by God. A husband and wife have authority over their kids because they effectively own them. The child becomes an adult and becomes his own sovereign later. Until then he is protected by the covenant of their marriage. Jesus exercised more than authority He exercised dominion. Dominion is ownership worked through with power. Jesus did not take authority over the bread to multiply it and feed the 5000, did He? No He CREATED bread out of nothing. He commanded the atoms in the air to become bread. Jesus took authority over the storm and when He walked on the water that is Authority but it is more than authority it is power worked through ownership. It's called dominion. You and I have authority to forgive sins. Jesus received His authority from the Father. It's a family business. The father owns everything. In fact Jesus gives everything back to the Father and then the Father gives everything and places everything UNDER His Son. The safest place to be in the universe and in eternity is UNDER the Son. When we are under the Son we are safe because He owns everything. If we stand under an umbrella we don't get wet. If we stand under Jesus we get healed, we get saved, we get everything. We also get ownership. Paul said we own EVERYTHING. We inherit everything. We inherit God and He inherits us. I hope you like this episode. Go in the wake of Jesus.
