In this episode of the Wise Whys podcast, we discuss how choosing to be offended by someone’s words or actions can result in giving away our power and leaving ourselves open to emotional manipulation. We explore the reasons why people might choose to be offended and offer practical strategies for reframing our thinking and taking responsibility for our emotions. Overall, this thought-provoking and insightful conversation encourages listeners to take ownership of their emotional responses and approach interactions with empathy and understanding.
When we constantly critique and criticize ourselves, we create a cycle of negativity that can erode our self-esteem and inhibit our progress. It’s important to recognize that self-judgment is a natural part of being human, but it’s also a behavior that can be changed with mindful effort. By becoming aware of our self-judgment patterns, we can begin to challenge and shift them towards healthier actions bringing us closer to our Authentic Selves.
We all experience trials and tribulations within our lives and we have a choice as to how we want to view them. We can take on a dualistic perspective and see them as a negative experience and that God, the Universe, or someone is against us or we can choose to view it through polarity and accept that challenges are a part of life and that they can server to teach us something when we are open to it. Victimhood strips our power away while looking for the lesson in our experiences gives us the power to maintain a neutral emotional state while also propelling our individual growth.
Change, especially within our own self development work, rarely happens without us taking an honest look at our previous and subconscious behaviors and making a conscious decision and effort to alter our responses and actions going forward. In the event things get tough, we may need that extra something to hold ourselves accountable to follow through on what we ultimately want for ourselves and our lives.
A lot of emphasis is put on compromise and sacrifice in our culture when it comes managing our romantic relationships. However, within the J.U.S.T. Philosophy, one of the most important aspects of a conscious relationship is having and practicing our own individual self development work which is also vital to conflict resolution in relationships.
There can be a hidden cost to having preferences if we aren’t flexible in our attachment to them. However, when we shift our perspective toward a state of neutrality around a given want, it removes our need to remain in that stagnant, one-sided energy and opens up the possibilities for more knowledge, wisdom, and overall wellness.
Living in the flow of life doesn’t necessarily mean your life will be easier but is rather a perspective that you take to bring in more acceptance, allowance and flexibility in how you relate and react to the world around you.
If you have been doing self development work honestly and consistently, you may have recognized that you have become more sensitive or empathic to things like your environment, your diet, the contents of tv and social media you consume… so why is this happening if we are doing this work to overcome these types of things? We answer this question and cover a plethora of ways to alter your perspective and carry out the step by step practice to begin managing your environment as you peel away those layers.

Many of us on this self growth journey know how powerful self awareness can be or even the awareness that certain attributes or behavioral patterns we have came from our environment when we were children. Once we are aware of something, the first step into healing it would be Acceptance. And Acceptance can be more complex than it sounds when we try to actually put this into practice, with many of us missing integral parts which can lead us into thinking we are farther ahead in our healing than we actually are.

Throughout life, we have experiences that may create emotional reactions within us. Even if we are on a path of self growth, we may struggle or overlook how these emotions are affecting us. If not properly processed and released, they can eventually work through all Five Levels and eventually show up as a discomfort on the physical level. This episode covers an experience that I had recently around a purchase that I made that lead to some resentment after a miscommunication with the seller.

When this happens, consciousness may no longer be present and not everyone can possibly be seeing the situation clearly. When terms become labels and are over saturated in society, their meanings usually become watered down and skewed. So what is an Empath? What is a Narcissist? How are they connected and how can they both stand in their power and bring in consciousness to come to the center of this polarity?

Often we have experiences that seems to exhibit the same energetic blueprint. The names and faces that are part of these experiences may change but the layout of the circumstances may be eerily similar, causing us to maybe even ask the Universe, "Why does this keep happening to me?" This episode focuses on two experiences that I recently had that happened almost exactly the same only a year before - but my reactions to them were completely different... and so were the outcomes.

It's that time of the year again where we find gratitude for all this year has brought us and spend time as this year winds down with close family members and friends. This gives us an excellent opportunity to work on our growth if we choose to remain conscious during our family gatherings instead of reacting to the behavior that creates a frictional fire inside us.

We've been taught to fear the future and dwell on the past all leaving us in a constant state of uncertainty... instead of living in the now. Almost everyone has suffered it in one form or another so this episode is a pivotal one as it covers the different types of anxiety and ways to assist it in subsiding on all 5 levels of wellness.
We have been trained to think that our preferences are what makes us who we are, as unique as we are, but there is another side to our preferences... the cost. Expanding upon our previous episode discussing the fear and panic around the current worldwide pandemic, this episode goes into the subtle energy around adapting to the change of a new reality as it doesn't seem like quarantine is going away anytime soon.
While the world is experiencing a pandemic, many have become consumed with fear and panic, leaving them crippled in their ability to function on a daily basis. There is light and hope among all this uncertainty as these changes are bringing up our past traumas to the surface to be healed, allowing us an opportunity to all grow and evolve on a global scale.
As we begin to implement the practice of self development into our lifestyle, our perspective on our past relationships may change and we may realize the role we played in their demise. When this happens, we are faced with a choice: do we reach out and try to mend the relationship or do we let things be and handle our relationships differently going forward?
In a conversation initialized by a popular Jamie Anderson quote, a discussion was born about how grief is intertwined with love and perspectives we can consider that could help us process the grief more efficiently and move toward gratitude and love.
There is plenty of information out there on what Karma is and how it may effect our lives but on this episode we take a different approach. We shift the focus to how we can utilize the concept of Karma to alter our perspective and help us achieve our goals of self growth and development.
Signs, symbols and synchronicities often catch our eye and many of us wonder what these are and why they are so fascinating to see. Some end up following the trail of these mysteries and swear they are being Divinely Guided on their journey. Alexander and Aaron discuss their recent encounters with Divine Guidance and what to be aware of when interpreting such signs for life decisions.
At the base of this philosophy, supporting all of the wisdom in these episodes are, what we call, The Pillars. These 5 foundational theories, when utilized in junction with your own self reflection on a particular issue in your life, can yield the particular area or concept you need to focus on in order to get back to overall energetic wellness. This takes the need for a guru away and gives you back your power to derive the answers on your personal self development journey.
For our 50th episode, we have finally featured a show for all of the parents and guardians out there who are interested in incorporating the energetic wellness philosophy within their parenting techniques. Language is one of the most important tools ever created by our species but are we utilizing it to it's full potential? As with any tool, there are many ways and reasons it can be used, but in this episode, we focus on how to consciously engage with someone and consciously communication information so that information is received and absorbed to its fullest potential.

In our previous episode, "The Important Role Emotions Play in Energetic Wellness" (#46), Alexander mentioned that "emotions don't necessarily carry much intelligence". This statement was in contradiction to what the majority think of when they "feel" something. This conversation also lead us into a discussion of intuition and how to decipher whether a feeling is one of the intuitive nature or one that is based on an association or past trauma.

Emotions are at the center of most discussions within these episodes, but the perspective of how emotions are viewed is often skewed and confusing to some. This episode clarifies and resets the discussion around just how important emotions are within this philosophy.
In our third edition of Q&A with Alexander, we take questions from the listeners and Alexander answers them in ways we can all gain insight and wisdom to apply to our lives.
Boundaries are usually thought of as a physical thing such as a wall or a fence but energetic boundaries can be just as important in protecting our energy from external forces that could drain it. In this initial discussion, we explore many of the influences that energetic boundaries play on our overall energetic wellness.
From time to time, we can lose our drive in life which can result in a decline in our productivity. Sometimes this is the result of energetic and astrological cycles but often times it can be because of a lack or downfall of our self discipline. In this episode, we offer guidance on how to energetically grow and maintain your self discipline for maximum productivity.
In our first episode in a series we are calling "Reflections", Alexander's step children, Ian & Ryan, join us in the studio to discuss what it was like growing up around Alexander and the philosophy we now call "The JUST Philosophy".
There have been phrases and ideologies out there that claim that we should "Kill the Ego" but should we really be cutting off a mechanism that is there to ensure our survival? When you boil it down, what is the ego anyway and what is it's role within our journey toward overall energetic wellness?
There is no doubt 'passion' is extremely useful for us as a motivational tool but how do we temper it's usage for overall energetic wellness? Alexander shares with us another perspective on how to utilize passion from an energetic level to further our goals and intentions.
Tolerance is a popular buzzword in politics in today's world as we explore the differences in everyone's views and lifestyles but how important is it within the realms of our overall energetic wellness? In this episode, Alexander helps unveil how tolerance helps us in our quest toward contentment and furthering raising our vibration.
The term "raise your vibration" is a term that has become popular over the last several years. Whenever something becomes popular, it usually gets watered down or altered, losing it's true meaning and power. In this episode, Alexander shares what "raising your vibration" means within the JUST Philosophy and how vital it is on our journey toward self growth.
The Three Rs are extremely important for practicing optimal energetic wellness. Recognizing, Respecting and then Redirecting is like the Thai Chi for emotional processing: Watching that energy come in, viewing it without judgement and then redirecting it to be utilized in a more beneficial manner. One that promotes the growth of the individual. A sure tool for anyone's self development toolbox and Alexander covers it all in this episode.
Roles. They are your family, friends and even neighbors. Here to present opportunities for growth and a path toward energetic equilibrium. Like a mirror, the interactions we have with others can be considered a reflection of the challenges we are facing internally, or, at the very least, a signal for the results of past trauma about to surface.
Physical pain can be some of the hardest suffering we may have to experience in this realm, but could we be creating the weakness in our physical body that ultimately gives way to these discomforts? This episode serves to magnify the relationship between our emotional body and how it directly relates to the physical and how it can serve as a catalyst for pain and ailments of the physical form.
Like the term 'Love', the term 'Manifestation' has really taken on many different meanings which has seem to cause some confusion and even frustration among the people who learn about it and then try to take back the direction of their lives. However, there may a different way of thinking about manifestation and it deals with our individuality in the our energetic makeups. Alexander joins the ever curious Aaron at presenting another way of viewing the mysterious Manifestation.
Society's general consensus is that creativity is only for those who can paint, draw or even act but as Alexander will enlighten us, there are simple ways every person can experience being creative on a daily basis. In this episode Alexander also explains why everyone should be exercising creativity and how it and sexuality are very similar.
We are conditioned to operate out of our subconscious most of the time which limits our ability to consciously appreciate all that is and give thanks to the Divine. We may even have developed behaviors in which we believe we are practicing this giving of thanks but they may be just an empty shell of motions that we go through during our ever so busy lives. Alexander breaks down how to properly create and hold that vibration of gratitude an simple examples of its expression.
Our wants are certainly a very important part of us to pay attention to because it can reveal a lot about our sub conscious and areas that we can work on to help achieve optimum energetic wellness. This episode talks about the energetic blockage that the exaggeration of our wants creates, essentially pushing the subject of our wants further away from our grasp.

Most everyday situations that we may encounter that create an emotional reaction in us can usually be boiled down to one main pillar or concept of The JUST Philosophy making the focus for healing simple, at least from arriving at what we need to change. But what happens when you are dissecting an issue and multiple pillars seem to be at it's root? It can be a little overwhelming even to Aaron, who has been utilizing this work for 3 years. This episode touches upon many aspects of the philosophy as he and Alexander work to uncover the main themes of energetic wellness that run deep in another one of Aaron's life experiences.
Alexander answers specific questions submitted by the listener community in depth from the first 29 episodes.
The term "The JUST Philosophy" has been used by Alexander a couple times over the last few episodes but it's now time to make it official. What was referred to as Alexander's Frequency Based Philosophy has now been rebranded to The JUST Philosophy. Alexander and Aaron discuss why the name was chosen and the meaning behind the term "JUST".
In the previous episode (#28) we shared a brief overview of the Destiny Card System and how to find out what your Birth Card and Planetary Ruling Cards are so that you can begin to discover who you are. This episode continues that conversation and explains what a Destiny Card report is, how it can be useful in one's life and some personal experiences Aaron and Alexander have had when utilizing the reports.
Like the Human Design System we covered in episode 12, the Destiny Card System is another tool Alexander has incorporated into his Philosophy to assist in self discovery and be an energetic guide for what energies lie ahead in our lives.
Conspiracies and Politics are two subjects that can consume and overwhelm a person to the point where the so called "knowledge" gained no longer supersedes the fear and emotional energy expelled. However, a change in perspective and in how we look and interact with these subjects can turn these subjects into a catalyst for our internal growth.
The best way to practice this philosophy is to take advantage of every conversation and interaction in your life. In this episode, Alexander shares with us the 3 different "reactions" to a conversation one may have. Using this information, you can then check in with yourself to gauge where you may have some underlying friction.
Being in the middle of the holiday season may cause some dread and anxiety due to the family gatherings that one may be attending or have attended but what if a change in perspective could make these opportune times to expedite personal growth? There is a reason why our family is usually the people that we get along with the least. It is because those closest to us will be mirrors for our own internal struggles. Utilizing these opportunities around family for growth, with the perspective shared in this podcast, gives us the ability to turn these not-so-fun times into a personal challenge.
In past episodes Alexander has mentioned how useful it is to utilize all of your life experiences to further your growth with this philosophy. Sports & Entertainment are often seen as a "waste of time" but, if you are present, there is a lot of information to be gained internally by watching these types of events.
The Human Design and Destiny Card systems offer invaluable data for discovering one's self but how we interpret that data and what we do with it ultimately determines the intrinsic value of the information with receive. In this episode, Aaron and Alexander identify how to be an internal investigator and utilize this information to progress growth, leading to emotional responsibility and accountability.
There is a time to will something forward and a time to trust the process... but how do we know when and which to utilize? The conversation about intentions surrounding Aaron's house experience move forward into a discussion of when to use our will power and when to trust that everything you need will be provided.
The phrase "set an intention" is said a lot, but what does it really mean? How do we set an intention and then manage our energy and emotions around that intention to give us the greatest chance of seeing that intention become reality. In this episode, Alexander dissects an event in Aaron's life where he had created an intention but the outcome did not reflect his expectations.
The phrase "Step into your power" is used a lot in many different circles and means many different things but what does it mean within this philosophy of wellness? Alexander shares with us his definition along with some simple guidelines on how to practice this.
In previous episodes we have discussed "love", or "unconditional love", possibly being the only feeling we experience, with the rest being emotions. But how do we energetically reach unconditional love? Alexander recently had a break through on how this can be reached and he explains it while referencing our chakras.
After discussing the ways to practice this philosophy in episode 16 and others, to help eliminate the onboarding of new trauma, this episode focuses on how to begin the processing of past emotional trauma helping to eliminate the associations causing our emotional reactions.
The energies of planets in retrograde, most infamously Mercury Retrograde, full moons and eclipses can seem chaotic but what are they really doing? When we understand their energetic role, we can use these turbulent times to do some of our best internal work, helping to complete past cycles.
The concepts in this podcast are fun and exciting to talk about but it takes a consistent effort of practicing these concepts to establish and carry out change and healing and to move our lives towards a lifestyle based around wellness.
Alexander answers questions submitted by the listener community through the first 14 episodes.
Making judgements on what is 'right' or 'wrong' or even what is 'good' or 'evil' has become a centerpiece in our society and culture but these views can often lead us to state of duality. Acceptance plays a key role as it enables us to take on a new perspective, freeing ourselves from the friction our minds can create in this state of judgement.
It is near impossible for us to know every angle of a situation, but through the perspectives of others, we are able to gain invaluable insight outside of our own senses and experiences. Through this process, we tend to see that there are no right and no wrong answers which is a perspective very powerful to apply to everyday situations.
Throughout this philosophy and in his personal consultations, Alexander utilizes two main systems to help us learn more about our default energetic make up. In this episode we give an overview of the human design system and some examples on how you can use it to gain more insight on your authentic self.
Jumping off of a two part series on word associations, we discuss other associations we as people create and store based on our experiences and trauma encountered during our existence.
Following the previous episode where we covered associations and the effect they have on our lives, we get into specific examples of some global word associations we have as a society and also share some personal word associations of ours.
Words tend to control our lives in ways we don't even realize. From our birth, we have unknowingly created associations with certain words and whenever they are used, emotional reactions are triggered causing confusion, hurt, blame, etc. Being able to identify these associations and then trace them back to their origination allows us to heal and gain more emotional management and control.
In this segment of the conversation we discuss an alternative perspective in viewing what it means to be your authentic self and how consideration plays a large role. This is part 2 of 2 of this discussion.
When one makes a change in their life, friends and family can have a hard time adapting. In this segment of the conversation we discuss ways to communicate change and what it means to be "authentic". This is part 1 of 2 of this discussion.
In this second half of the discussion, we discuss ways of utilizing our intuition to make decisions and how our individual attributes of our design (using the human design system as an example) effect our ways of engaging these senses.
Many of us have often used the word "feeling" to describe several different things such as something we sense, something we feel, an episode of intuition or even when we are emoting... But was is the difference between all of these words? Alexander breaks down what each one means within this philosophy.
Another experience Aaron has with cryptocurrency takes the conversation to practical ways we can practice or begin utilizing this work in our everyday lives including sports, children and pets.
This episode is a part 2 of 2 in what ended up being an extended conversation about an experience Aaron was having. The experience he shares ends up leading to a discussion about acceptance and the cost of our wants.
This episode is a part 1 of 2 in what ended up being an extended conversation about an experience Aaron was having. The experience he shares ends up leading to a discussion about acceptance and the cost of our wants.
