Catherine has been on the Board of the Twin Rivers Council for the Arts, the Greater Mankato Diversity Council, and was a founding member of the City Center Partnership of Mankato.
Catherine is an enthusiastic athlete and has participated in many triathlons, half marathons, and marathons including the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon. A self-proclaimed introvert, she loves to read, go to the theater and play with hair, clothes and makeup.

Keri Dennis-Fulmore began her journey into 'Health and Healing' at a very young age. She didn’t know it at the time, but her whole life has been teaching her to help people to optimize their health. Keri grew up with several family members being nurses and through that she became very interested in health. But oddly enough, she was attracted to 'holistic ways to heal.'
As a young child, she suffered from migraine headaches and despite many doctor visits and painkillers, she was told that they were genetic and she would have to live with them for the rest of her life. That was when a deep loud voice inside of her disagreed with the doctor’s advice and told her otherwise. Through the years that voice has been there to tell her things about people and even given her the ability to hear what is happening inside a persons body to cause them to be ill. She now knows that voice as her 'Intuition.'
Through the years, Keri went on to study Traditional Chinese Medicine and graduated with a diploma in Acupuncture in 2004 from the Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology. At the same time, she studied Herbalism from the Wild Rose College in Alberta and worked in a health food store, learning about the latest products and research from vitamin and supplement companies. She also went on to study Functional Medicine with the Functional Medicine University and is now a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner.

As we witness the events unfolding on our planet we know that our future hangs in the balance. During such times there is always a period of several hundred years when the energies of the old, outgoing constellation overlap and blend with those of the new and incoming influences and neither is fully controlling. “No Time To Waste”.... Since May is the month of Mothers I thought it would be a wonderful way of introducing you to a remarkable Woman/Mother/Grandmother who is currently serving time in Prison. During a stormy night in February of 1984, Bill Prewitt was murdered in his bed and his wife Patty Prewitt was yanked from that bed and attacked. Due to shoddy rural police work and gender prejudice, Patty immediately became the only suspect. Although during the four-day jury trial she was offered a plea agreement that would have freed her over 20 years ago, she refused to plead guilty, was sentenced to “Life with No Parole for 50 Years” and was forced to leave her five young children who grew up, created families of their own, but have remained very close to their mother whom they love and know is innocent.
This is such a remarkable story that includes a professional actress named Elizabeth Ann Townsend, who studied and worked onstage and screen in New York City for a couple of decades. Through interesting circumstances Elizabeth was handed a couple of Patty Prewitt’s poems and astonished by the depth and reality of the writing one thing lead to another. Elizabeth is currently working on doing a play based on Patty’s remarkable life.
