Overlord the WW2/Zombie movie is by far the best Faulkn film you missed this past winter. Action, effects, and overall new take on two played out genre's make this a must watch for any movie fan.
Starring Wyatt Russel (Goon 2) aka Kurt Russel's son, Jovan Adepo (Leftovers, Fences) and Pilou Abseak (Game of Thrones) this movie is one that I can't stop telling people about. Luckily I have a podcast, so what better way to get the word out there!

A faulkn review and discussion on Creed II the sequel to the well made Rocky spin off Creed. I think the title of the episode says it all, this movie was just... meh. A rocky movie without any of the great moments you'd expect in a rocky movie or the previous Creed film. Left us wanting more, from the fight scenes, to the montages, this film missed the mark. The best part of the movie is actually the antagonist, the Drago family. Victor and Ivan steal this movie, whether that was intended or not we discuss in the episode.
We also admit that due to the quality of the overall franchise and previous film, the sequel did have tough comparison bias.

I found that to be his use of flawed yet endearing human characters. HIs excellent ability to make a world that the audience can believe and embrace. With this he makes you care and that's half the battle of filmmaking. Is a great director? Yes. Can I see how is last few movies have been a bit dissapointing? Yes.

Soon she'll appear as a series regular for FX's new Ryan Murphy helmed show "Feud" co-starring along side Susan Surandon and Jessica Lange. What the Faulk this woman is killing it right?! I'm not done, she's set to appear on Broadway as well, in Studio 54's production of "Sweat" from March to September. It's my Faulkn Birthday, so I'll Faulkn talk to my friends. After 13 wonderful years of ups and downs, of victories of defeats I finally get to start playing Fantasy Football again. Starting in High School 13 years ago I had no idea I would be embarking on possibly my favorite hobby of all time. A football fan, a sports fan my whole life my love of college and the NFL competition has been one of my "geekiest" endeavors, and that's saying a lot. I am now the commissioner of my league "California Gamers" a yahoo Fantasy Football League which has been active since the year 2000! This week my guest is close friend and fellow league member Ernesto Casillas. Ernesto and I surprise call the other members of the league and tell them their pick in this year's draft. This episode is about friendships, fantasy football, and as always some witty, informational conversation. I call these members of the league with no warning, no heads up and most of them are available and provide some great content with their excitment about the upcoming season and which players they're targeting with their 1st round selections. He works an actor, director, producer, Stuntman, Stunt Coordinator, Visual Effects, and oh yeah he's also an AAU national champion weapon master and 4th degree black belt... Like I said, this man does everything in this business. You may know him from the famous "Call of Duty" game franchise where he has provided his skills in voice over, stunts and more. He's also appeared in "Criminal Minds", "Heroes" and the short lived but cult hit show "Deadliest Warrior" on Spike. This show truly was a gem as each week they provided viewers with entertaining matchups of the world's most effective killers. From a Navy Seal vs Mosad or a Ninja vs a Samurai, historical weapon, action and stunt experts brought these battles to life. Shuan was a part of all of that as he was an actor, stunt man, and even director for the program. Joe Barbagallo is an Actor, he's an actor known for intense and entertaining characters. This week he plays himself as my guest on the What the Faulk Show. This week on the show I welcome Director/Producer Hilton Ariel Ruiz, creator of the immensely popular webseries and upcoming comic "Zombie with a Shotgun". Hilton started making films at an early age, influenced by the indie filmmakers in the early 90's. He talks about the industry change from digital to film and how it affected all fimmakers including himself, during the late 90's. After making many different creative fiction and documentary films, Hilton moved his focus to the horror genre, most notably with his popular "Zombie with a Shotgun" webseries. The series became a cult hit in the horror community and now Hitlon is close to releasing the upcoming comic and kickstarter for a feature film adaptation.
