Pastor Alexander continues identifying several RESULTS of Radical Obedience. Thus far we’ve discovered if we are abiding in Radical Obedience, we will RECIPROCATE the LOVE we RECEIVE from God; because we LOVE God, His WAYS will become OUR ways; and When Jesus is IN us, THEN SIN is CONQUERABLE. In today’s study we will learn about exceeding JOY that is given to the one who will abide in Radical Obedience. We will also be reminded that we are called to become His instruments of Grace. For that to happened we must get involved and lovingly and graciously extend the hand of Jesus.

We are learning that there is more than just TRUST that we must attain IF we are to GROW in our relationship with God! We must put our trust into action by OBEDIENCE! In today’s study we will look at Simon Peter’s experience of walking on the water. In this remarkable story Peter demonstrates what reckless abandon obedience is all about. “It is in reckless abandon obedience that we’ll discover His reckless abandon Grace.”

Most people are interested in getting their prayers answered. But there are LAWS or RULES for PRAYER, just like ANYTHING else. These principles are REAL and VALID. And, IF your PRAYERS are NOT being ANSWERED, it’s most likely because you’re violating God’s PRINCIPLES for effective prayer. In our text today in James 4:1-10 pastor Alexander will FIVE PRINCIPLES for praying more effectively.

If we are going to grow spiritually, THEN it is imperative we learn to “abide” in Christ! Most people who go adrift in their lives do so because they lose an abiding relationship with the Lord. He is no longer the center of their life, and they’ve thrown away their anchor. They begin to drift in the winds and current of this world system and ultimately they cannot discern right from wrong. In his epistle, the apostle John identifies three anchors of our abiding that will keep us from drifting away. We are to abide (be anchored) in the Word, we are abide (be anchored) in the Anointing, and we are to abide (be anchored) in Him – Christ!
If we are going to grow spiritually, THEN it is imperative we learn to “abide” in Christ! In John 15, there are several promises Christ makes to the one who is “abiding” in Him – the TRUE VINE, and there are dire consequences for not “abiding” in Him. This concept of “abiding in Christ” is one of the most important we can follow. In today’s study we will identify “the keys” to abiding in Christ!
God has established special days, times, events and things recorded in the Bible that are designed to help us remember the important things God has done. In today’s Memorial Sunday message we will identify three reasons why memorials are important to us and discover how God uses them to jog our memories and helps us remember these important things.
On this Mother’s Day we are reminded Jesus valued women in a society that was very much male dominated. Women played a very important role in his life and ministry, and were present at every major event in his life. We can learn something from the women who were involved in Christ’s life and ministry. In today’s study pastor Alexander will identify four characteristics of a Godly mother.
Have you ever gone HARD after something in your life (a job, a position on the sports team, a relationship, or a goal in life)? When you pursue it you give it your maximum effort and attention. What would happen if we gave that same kind of effort to following after God? Psalm 63:8 (Amp) “My whole being follows hard after You and clings closely to You; In today’s study pastor Alexander will focus on what it means to follow hard after God! He must be your First PRIORITY, your PASSION, and Your PINING . From our text in Psalm 63 we will identify four results of going hard after God.

We continue our theme of spiritually growing together in the fear of the Lord. We have learned that a lack of the FEAR of the Lord is the root cause of not drawing near His presence and not obeying the Lord’s commands. As a result we become HEARERS of the WORD but not DOERS of the WORD and we thereby DECEIVE OURSELVES. WE think we know God, but in reality we don’t! In today’s study we will identify three stages in deception in a Heart that lacks a holy fear of the God.

Pastor Alexander continues the CONTRAST between the Children of Israel and Moses and address the KEY to approaching God’s Presence, “the FEAR of the Lord!” “God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, And to held in reverence by all those around Him.” (Psalms 89:7, NKJV) In today’s study we’ll discover that the evidence of the FEAR of the Lord in us is twofold: First, it’s the ATTITUDE of our HEART – God said, “Oh that they had such a HEART in them that they would FEAR me…” AND Second, it’s the ACTION of OBEYING God’s commands – “…that they would FEAR Me and always KEEP all My commandments…” (Deut.5:29, NKJV).

We continue our study on spiritual growth by identifying two common Biblical patterns of seeking God’s presence. There is a classic contrast between how the children of Israel approached God and how Moses approached God’s presence. One is focused on receiving the BLESSINGS of His Presence, and the other simply desired His PRESENCE. The same two groups are found in churches today! There are those who seek God for his protection, provision and promotion, but NEVER realize that they can EMBRACE Him for WHO He is and KNOW Him INTIMATELY. “You can be as close to God as you choose to be!”

God makes a remarkable statement about his selection of a shepherd boy to become the next king replacing king Saul. Samuel the prophet said, The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart. What kind of heart was God looking for? In today’s study we’ll discover FIVE QUALITIES God found in the heart of David. God is still searching for those same qualities of heart! “Your relationship with God will never grow beyond your heart for Him.” We must increase our hunger and heart’s desire for Him.

The word advent comes from the Latin “adventus” which means “to appear.” The advent season is all about reflecting upon the anticipation of a coming Messiah. We are not preparing for the first advent – the first Christmas – that’s already come and gone. What we’re doing is getting ready for the second advent – the day of Christ’s return to earth for the second time. The bible refers to this as the Blessed Hope! One of the greatest gifts His advent ( His appearing ) gives us is HOPE! Today we will discover four great truths about God’s Gift of Hope!

We have been studying a series of messages on the Life of Abraham, a FRIEND of God and the father of FAITH, as our EXAMPLE of how to WALK with God. Have you ever thought about WHY God would want to be FRIENDS with YOU? WHY would the Creator of the universe desire to be intimate FRIENDS with us? It is hard to fathom, but He desires to be your BFF (Best Friend Forever)! Abraham was called the friend of God! There were many individuals in the Bible who were close intimate friends of God. David was called a man after God’s own heart! The reality is that God longs for YOUR FRIENDSHIP, but our PROBLEM is we are either NOT AWARE or we are NOT WILLING to BECOME a friend of God. In today’s message pastor Alexander focuses on how we can become a friend of God.

Genesis 22:1 “And it came to pass after these things, that God did [TEST] Abraham,...” Sometimes the purpose of God brings us through circumstances that we really DON’T UNDERSTAND. Often you DON’T know WHY you are going through WHAT you’re going through! How will your respond when your faith is tested?

As Abraham walked with God he proved himself trustworthy, so much that the Lord entered into a Covenant relationship with him and his descendants. Genesis 15:18 “In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram...” A Covenant is AN AGREEMENT between two parties that is binding upon each to fulfill to the greatest of their ability the conditions of the covenant. A Covenant is a two way street. God has HIS Part. “I’m going to bless you . . .” But Abraham also had a Part - “his part was TRUST and OBEDIENCE!” With the blood Covenant there was symbols that were tokens of a reminder of the Covenant. In Abraham’s day it was the token of circumcision the shedding of blood that would remind his descendants of the Covenant. We too, have a tokens of the New Covenant established in the body and blood of Jesus Christ. It is important that we REMIND ourselves regularly that we are in COVENANT with FATHER GOD. We do that today by the SYMBOLS of Covenant!

After the birth of Isaac, the son of promise, Sarah saw three disruptive things that could have a harmful effect on the character and life of her son. She admonished Abraham to separate from and CAST OUT these things and the Lord agreed. Although it was painful, Abraham obeyed God and CAST OUT that which was symbolic of the FLESH.

Abraham literally walked with God through difficult times of sorrow and in times of great joy and blessing. The Lord had promised Abraham MANY descendants but as he and Sarah were advanced in age the promise had NOT been fulfilled. At the right time, the Lord passed by and once again confirmed His promise. And at the set time the promise came, and Sarah’s mourning was turned into laughter! God hears your dry and He see’s your tears! At the appointed time He will visit you and when He does, your SORROW will be turned to JOY!

Pastor Alexander continues the series on the Life of Abraham, a FRIEND of God and the father of FAITH, as our EXAMPLE of “How to WALK with God.” As Abraham was walking in obedience, he encountered several situations where he FEARED for his own life. His response in those times was not what we would look to as a great example of FAITH, but rather demonstrated the FAILURE of depending on the flesh. Yet in spite of his own failures God intervened and turned his failure into blessing. Our weaknesses and failures do not disqualify us from God plan and purpose in our lives! God’s GRACE and MERCY is greater than OUR WEAKNESS!
Pastor Alexander continues the series on the Life of Abraham, a FRIEND of God and the father of FAITH, as our EXAMPLE of “How to WALK with God.” What’s interesting is to also study the life of Abraham’s nephew Lot, who stands as an EXAMPLE of a person who made RIGHT and WRONG choices in life and REAPED what he had sown. Lot’s choice of dwelling places illustrates his spiritual journey, and speaks to us of ours as well. We too make MISTAKES along life’s journey. We need to LEARN what prompted Lot to make WRONG choices to help us NOT REPEAT his mistakes in our spiritual journey of walking with God!
Pastor Alexander continues the theme “Walking with God” using Abraham as an example. As you walk with God, that intimacy brings REVELATION of His purpose, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing?” (v.18) That revelation is a seed from God to bring you to a place of intercession. God RESPONDED to Abraham’s intercession. In Genesis 19:29 says, “When God destroyed the cities of the plain, he REMEMBERED Abraham and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe…” God responded to Abraham’s intercession because the Lord REMEMBERED him! The question is: Will He REMEMBER You?
Pastor Alexander continues the theme “Walking with God” using Abraham as an example. As you walk with God and abide in His presence you not only get to KNOW the Lord, but the Lord gets to KNOW You! Intimacy with God brings REVELATION of His purpose, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing?” (v.18) That revelation is a seed from God to bring you to a place of intercession. God RESPONDED to Abraham’s Intercession because the Lord Knew him - “For I have known him…” (v.19) The question is: “Does the Lord KNOW You?”
Pastor Alexander continues with part three of the message “When the Lord Passes By?” When the Lord comes to us and we welcome Him and minister to Him, He SPEAKS fruitfulness to our barrenness. But to receive the promise blessing we must STEP OUT of our tent of Fear and Unbelief and have FAITH in the Promise-Giver. The Lord declared to Sarah, “It there anything to hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you…” There is an appointed time for your miracle of fruitfulness to come from the Lord.
Pastor Alexander continues with part two of the message “When the Lord Passes By will he Pass you By?” When God visited Abraham, he declared, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant, THEN Abraham MINISTERED unto the Lord. (Genesis 18:3-4). In those times of SPECIAL visitation, we need to learn how to RESPOND appropriately to make Him welcome, OTHERWISE, He will pass us by. In today’s study we will identify six ways we can Minister to the presence of the Lord.
Pastor Alexander continues the series “Walking with God” using the example of Abraham a man who was called “a friend of God.” Although God is always with us, there are times when God visits you unexpectedly. And in those times of SPECIAL visitation, we need to learn how to RESPOND appropriately to make Him welcome, OTHERWISE, He will pass us by. When God visited Abraham, he declared, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant (Genesis 18:3). What do you do when the Lord passes by? If we’re not careful, we might miss the opportunity when the Lord passes by, and He will pass us by without a visitation of His Glory!
When in the natural all seemed hopeless, then Lord appeared to Abram and said, “I am Almighty God.” Abram’s immediate response is to “fall on his face” before God! And God responds by asking Abram to do two things: walk before him and be blameless. Then God reestablishes His Covenant with Abram, and CHANGES his NAME from Abram to Abraham and changes Sarai to Sarah! When we enter into covenant relationship with God by Believing and Obeying him, God gives us a new name. It’s our responsibility to embrace our new name.
The biggest challenge to our faith when the promise is delayed is our own impatience. Sometimes we get ahead of God and try to help God out in our OWN FLESHLY ways. When we do, then we reap the consequences of sowing to the FLESH rather than to the SPIRIT. Abram and Sarai grew impatient and tried in the FLESH to help God fulfill his promise, but they learned the hard way that man’s ways are never God’s ways, no matter how sincerely they are presented. In today’s study we’ll identify three resources for triumphing over the flesh as we deal with our own impatience.
Our biggest challenge to our faith is WHEN the PROMISE is DELAYED! You see, delayed promises will either WEAKEN or STRENGTHEN our FAITH. The true genuineness of our faith will be revealed when we respond to delayed promises! In our study we continue looking at the example of Abram as he struggled with delayed promises, and through his struggles he learned to strengthen his faith. In today’s study pastor Alexander will identify at least five things Abram did to strengthen his faith that we too can do to strengthen ours.
On this Father’s Day pastor Alexander continues the series focusing on the life of Abram “The father of the faith” as an example of pursuing the purpose of God in our lives. As we pursue the purpose of God we will sometimes be led to walk in darkness. In those dark times, God knows exactly where we are every moment along the way. He never abandons or loses track of His children. We need to learn how to navigate in the dark hard times of life by looking at the dark times in the life of Abram. In today’s study pastor Alexander identifies at least five keys to learn to walk through the darkness.
Pastor Alexander continues the series focusing on the life of Abraham as an example of pursuing the purpose of God in our lives. As your journey with God and experience victory and triumph in one area of your life, it does not prevent an attack in another area. IF the enemy cannot successfully attack you from WITHOUT, then he will attack and temp you from WITHIN your own ego and desires. Abraham is an example we can follow in overcoming those attacks as we move from triumph to triumph.
On this Memorial Day pastor Alexander examines three views we are CALLED to remember. We are to Look Back and remember ALL our departed loved ones. We are to Look Out and love the living while we still can. Most importantly, we should Look Up and honor the Lord.

We are admonished in Scripture to honor our mothers (and fathers). One of the ways we honor our mothers is by LISTENING to them and LEARNING from them . In today’s Mother’s Day message pastor Alexander shares three biblical principle for life that godly mother should TEACH their children.

In part 4 of our series we look again at the life of Abraham as an example of pursuing the purpose of God in our lives. Often as we pursue the purpose of God there will be a time of conflict with the enemy of our faith. You see, conflict reveals our true character. In today’s study pastor Alexander will identify three things that Abraham did to overcome conflict, that we too can emulate to overcome conflict in our lives.

In part 3 pastor Alexander focuses on Abraham as the example of an person that fully pursued God’s purpose and plan for his life. When Abram RESPONDED by OPENING his HEART to God’s Purpose in faith and obedience, God OPENED HIS heart in revelation of a covenant blessing He was establishing with him. There are eight elements of that covenant that God revealed to Abram. If we will RESPOND to God’s purpose the same way as Abraham – OPENING our HEARTS to God, then God will again OPEN His heart of covenant blessings to us as well.

In part 2 of our series we look again at Abraham as the example of an person that fully pursued God’s purpose and plan for his life. Pastor Alexander is convinced it is our God ordained role to pursue the purpose God has for each of our lives. Our problem is that we often substitute our will and our ways for His will and His ways, THEN we wonder WHY things haven’t turned out for us as we expected. In today’s study pastor Alexander will identify five keys to pursuing God’s purposes in our lives.

I am convinced that it is our God ordained role to pursue the purpose God has for each of our lives. Unfortunately, some have given up on pursuing God’s purpose thinking it’s only something for young people to do, or perhaps they have settled in a comfort zone when God is wanting to stretch them. Sometime God brings us through the valley of hardship in His purpose. Following God’s purpose is not always the easy road, but it will ultimately bring you into the possession of the promised blessings!

The world is full of empty promises, but God gives us emptiness that is full of Promises. This morning Pastor Alexander will examine three Empty promises that we can celebrate this Easter – an empty life, and empty cross, and an empty tomb!
The vast majority of lasting relationships don’t just happen by accident. There are attitudes we must own, and actions we must take, to insure lasting relationships. Today we focus on DURABILITY, making our relationships LAST. We do that by making a true commitment to that relationship. One of the often overlooked resources for great relationships, especially in our culture today, is COMMITMENT, because sometimes it is commitment that will HOLD a relationship together when all else fails. This morning we’re going to see WHAT true commitment is; WHY it’s essential to good relationships; and HOW to keep our commitments – so that we can grow in our relationships even in stressful times.
The vast majority of lasting relationships don’t just happen by accident. There are attitudes we must own, and actions we must take, to insure lasting relationships. Reality is that God wants to be in relationship with YOU and he desires for you to be in relationship with OTHERS! Reality is that we are all going to FAIL in our relationships. But what are we going to do with those failures? How do we mend our messes? In today’s pastor Alexander will share three biblical keys to repairing relationships.
In today’s message pastor Alexander focuses on being authentic (real, genuine, transparent, open, trustworthy) in an unauthentic world. If we are going to walk with God then we are going to have to have authentic relationship with God and with others. The vast majority of lasting relationships don’t just happen by accident. There are attitudes we must own, and actions we must take, to insure lasting relationships. Reality is that God wants to be in relationship with YOU! In John 15, Jesus calls us no longer servants but his friends. From the teachings of Christ we will discover four keys to being authentic in our relationships with God and others – Authentic Love, Authentic Obedience, Authentic Joy, and Authentic Communication.
In today’s message we celebrate the victorious work of Christ in Holy Communion by REMEMBERING what Jesus has done for us on the Cross through the sacrifice of His BODY and His BLOOD. Scriptures make it abundantly clear that it is the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the blood of the Lamb of God, that SAVES us from our SIN. Pastor Alexander will share six things that walking with God in the power of the blood does for you. The QUESTION is: What will YOU DO with the Power of the Blood? His Blood will either be in your HEART and on your LIFE, or on your HANDS and trampled under your FEET! You get to choose to either ACCEPT or REJECT the Power of the Blood in YOUR LIFE!
In today’s message pastor Alexander focuses on Aligning Ourselves to His Body (the CHURCH). “On the FIRST day of the week, Jesus’ followers were together.” We will discover from Scripture FIVE Reasons the CHURCH is an important first thing, and the benefits of being aligned with His Body. We’ll identify Four Ways to KEEP the Lord’s Day a PRIORITY in your life.
Jesus had a lot to say about priorities and making the main thing the main thing. The main thing is to obey God and the first and greatest commandment is all about increasing your Love for God and others. “Jesus has something to say about “increasing your passionate love” – the deepest expression of love itself that flows from PASSION within the HEART of man toward God! Matthew 22:37-38 (NKJV) “Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, with ALL your soul, and with ALL your mind.’ 38 This is the FIRST and great commandment.” In today’s study pastor Alexander will focus on CLEANSING our Hearts, Emotions, and our Minds so that we can INCREASE our Passion for God and others!
Jesus had a lot to say about priorities and making the main thing the main thing. Today’s message is all about the Authority that Christ has given to the church and to individual believers. In today’s message pastor Alexander focuses on how recover what the enemy (the strong man) has taken from you!
Jesus had a lot to say about maintaining right relationships. He puts reconciliation of relationships higher than worship itself. He says, “First be reconciled to your brother and then come and offer your gift (of worship). In today’s message pastor Alexander will focus on how to repair and mend relationships.
Jesus had a lot to say about having the right kind of Spirit. He taught us to judge but not be judgmental in doing so. In today’s study pastor Alexander will identify six reasons why people criticize and share seven reason why we should avoid being critical of others. We are to get rid of the beam in our own eye then we can see clearly to remove the speck from our brother’s eye.
Many of the great patriarchs of the faith had this testimony that they walked with God. it is imperative that we make walking with God each day the main priority in our lives. Jesus had a lot to say about having the right priorities. There are at least seven “first things” that Jesus said we must do if we want to align our lives with His priorities. In today’s message by pastor Alexander we will discover how to walk with God aligning your life with Christ’s priorities.
It’s a phrase we all say at the start of each New Year, but do we really know how to have a “Happy” New Year? In today’s message pastor Alexander will describe some misconceptions of happiness, and then reveal the true source of happiness. In Philippians chapter 3, as we examine the life of the Apostle Paul we’ll discover 5 keys to living a Happy Life in 2023!
The Angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and revealed not only the virgin birth but that he will be called Immanuel (meaning God with us). What does it mean for God to be with us? In today’s message pastor Alexander will examine the wonderful gift of God’s presence that can be ours because of the birth of Christ. We’ll discover what His presence means to us and identify how we can practice God’s presence every moment of the day.
As certain as Jesus came the first time 2000 years ago to a stable in Bethlehem, there is no doubt he will come again! The same scriptures that foretell of his Birth boldly proclaim his second coming. The word advent is from the Latin word “adventus” which means “to appear.” The first advent, Christmas – is about the appearance of the Messiah – Jesus Christ. In Matthew 24, Jesus shares about His second Advent. In today’s message pastor Alexander will share four great truths about the day of His return that will help us to be ready for that day!
One of the most important ways we can influence others is in how we RESPOND in HOPE to the storms of life. On this Sunday before Thanksgiving we are reminded that we can find something to be THANKFUL for even in the midst of storms of life. Pastor Alexander continues today with part 4 of a message on navigating through the storms of life. We will discover how Jesus prepares us to face the storms of life, and we will identify six ways we can personally grow and develop through the storms of life.

Pastor Alexander states: “If we are going to grow spiritually, then we must learn the principle of living in the Presence of the Spirit daily. Not a day should go by , that we fail to commune with the Lord through the empowering and refreshing that comes from the presence of the Holy Spirit.” In today’s message pastor Alexander shares ten reasons why the renewing of the fullness of the Spirit is so important to our lives.

Each one of us has been created to live an amazing life…a life of incredible purpose, passion and power…but we can’t live that kind of amazing life on our own! We can’t live an amazing life without an amazing partner. That is why Jesus promised his disciples a partner (parakletos) who would abide with them forever. The fullness of their lives depended on how full they were of the Holy Spirit! In today’s study Pastor Alexander will identify three key characteristics that made the disciples different and amazingly compelling to their generation.

At first, the early church was filled with self-disappointed disciples who had run in fear of being arrested with Christ, but Acts 2 describes what an appointment with the Holy Spirit can do to the disappointments in our lives. Our disappointment with us is what readies us for our appointment with the Holy Spirit. When the day of Pentecost came all that changed and now they were dynamic followers of Christ. Pastor Alexander will identify four dynamics on the Day of Pentecost and we’ll discover WHY this was important, and most importantly HOW we can experience the same empowering the disciples experienced to become a person of influence. Without Him, disappointment is our DESTINY, but With Him, we can e a DYNAMIC people of influence with incredible potential and power!

It’s ONE thing to be remembered by MAN for your noble deeds, but it’s quite ANOTHER to be remembered by GOD. Pastor Alexander will identify what this man did to get God’s attention and to become a person of INFLUENCE. May we too become people of INFLUENCE – to live our lives as a MEMORIAL to God. Truly, we are writing our OWN Epitaph by how we LIVE our lives?

In acts chapter 2, God established nine key priorities that the early church followed to become people of influence. These nine areas follow the acronym I-N-F-L-U-E-N-C-E and will serve as our themes of study over the next several weeks. In today’s study we will focus on the letter L = Learning to PRAY Effective Prayers. In our text in Acts chapter 12, we will discover the Priority of Prayer in the early church. Pastor Alexander will identify Five Principles of Prayer that we can apply to our lives to make our prayers more effective.

In acts chapter 2, God established nine key priorities that the early church followed to become people of influence. Pastor Alexander has formed an acronym from the word I-N-F-L-U-E-N-C-E that follow these nine areas. In today’s study we will look at the letter F = FAITH in ACTION. Three things we will discover: First, we need to keep the MAIN THING the main thing. Second, No one can do EVERYTHING, and Third, EVERYONE can do SOMETHING. Gifts are given by God in order to be used. As we put them into action, we will be FRUITFUL, FULFILLED and the church will be FORTIFIED. If we DON’T USE our gifts, we will NEVER become a person of INFLUENCE, we WON’T be fulfilled, and our church will be WEAK and spiritually ANEMIC.

Our Text on Palm Sunday declares, “Behold Your King Comes to YOU…” – that was true 2000 years ago, and it is true TODAY! But How will we respond WHEN He comes? At first the crowds cheered, then later in the passion week they jeered. Why did the cheering stop? In today’s message pastor Alexander will identify three reasons why the cheering stopped then, and why the cheering stops now in our lives. Observe when Christ saw the city He wept over them. But the question remains: When he sees you, will he weep over you?

Jesus followers struggled with this, and time after time Christ corrected their thinking on servanthood. In today’s message from Matthew 20, pastor Alexander will identify four teachings from Christ to help us improve our serve!

The key to becoming a person of influence is to get alone with God daily and allow Him to set your life’s agenda. “If you will become an influence with God, then you will become an influence for God!”

From the Gospel of Matthew, there are at least seven “first things” that Jesus said we must do if we want to ALIGN our LIVES with His PRIORITIES. Thus far we have looked at Aligning Our Priorities “Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness…” ; Aligning Our Attitudes “First get rid of the log in your own eye. . .”; Aligning our Relationships “First be reconciled to your brother and then come and offer your gift.”; and Aligning our Authority with His Authority. In today’s study Pastor Alexander focuses on Aligning Our HEARTS – “This is the First and greatest commandment.” When we have the Right PRIORITIES and Right ATTITUDES along with Right RELATIONSHIPS, in Right AUTHORITY and with Right HEARTS then we can be ASSURED that we will be aligned with His character and Walking In His Presence!
