Our focus this week comes from Ezekiel 37:1-14. Verses 7-10 reads, "7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. 9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.Ezekiel captured the heart of God by listening to the Spirit of God. Romans 6:11-14 in the Message reads this way, "6-11 Could it be any clearer? Our old way of life was nailed to the cross with Christ, a decisive end to that sin-miserable life—no longer captive to sin’s demands! What we believe is this: If we get included in Christ’s sin-conquering death, we also get included in his life-saving resurrection. We know that when Jesus was raised from the dead it was a signal of the end of death-as-the-end. Never again will death have the last word. When Jesus died, he took sin down with him, but alive he brings God down to us. From now on, think of it this way: Sin speaks a dead language that means nothing to you; God speaks your mother tongue, and you hang on every word. You are dead to sin and alive to God. That’s what Jesus did.12-14 That means you must not give sin a vote in the way you conduct your lives. Don’t give it the time of day. Don’t even run little errands that are connected with that old way of life. Throw yourselves wholeheartedly and full-time—remember, you’ve been raised from the dead!—into God’s way of doing things. Sin can’t tell you how to live. After all, you’re not living under that old tyranny any longer. You’re living in the freedom of God.Our old ways must DIE in order to live for Christ.

Join us today as I share my heart abotu embracing my purpose and allowing my light to shine. My daughter wrote this as a foreword in my first book, and today it blessed me all over again.
"Growing up, I often felt like an outsider. I wasn't around my mom as much as my sisters. I looked different, I felt different, I didn't understand my place; and that was no fault of my mom, but because of my insecurities. I now know, through watching my mom's journey, that sometimes God just creates people to stand out. My mom is one of those people, and I can say that every since she started embracing this (purpose), her light has shined so much brighter. Thank you mom, for doing your best, always, even when it seemed as if you had nothing left to give and especially when we didn't appreciate it. I'm proud of you. I love you. Many of us carry our assignment too far - not realizing when the anointing. 1 Cor. 13:9-12 reads, "
9 Now we know so little, even with our special gifts, and the preaching of those most gifted is still so poor. 10 But when we have been made perfect and complete, then the need for these inadequate special gifts will come to an end, and they will disappear.
11 It’s like this: when I was a child I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child does. But when I became a man my thoughts grew far beyond those of my childhood, and now I have put away the childish things. 12 In the same way, we can see and understand only a little about God now, as if we were peering at his reflection in a poor mirror; but someday we are going to see him in his completeness, face-to-face. Now all that I know is hazy and blurred, but then I will see everything clearly, just as clearly as God sees into my heart right now."

And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.”

It was so clear at that moment that someone else needed this Word and so I'm going to share with you what the Spirit of God revealed to me as I read it. This evening, we are going to share regarding creating your own space for change. John 5:1-9 reads, "Afterwards Jesus returned to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish religious holidays. 2 Inside the city, near the Sheep Gate, was Bethesda Pool, with five covered platforms or porches surrounding it. 3 Crowds of sick folks—lame, blind, or with paralyzed limbs—lay on the platforms (waiting for a certain movement of the water, 4 for an angel of the Lord came from time to time and disturbed the water, and the first person to step down into it afterwards was healed). 5 One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him and knew how long he had been ill, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?” 7 “I can’t,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to help me into the pool at the movement of the water. While I am trying to get there, someone else always gets in ahead of me.” 8 Jesus told him, “Stand up, roll up your sleeping mat and go on home!” 9 Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up the mat and began walking! (TLB) In this passage, we see an account of one who failed to discern the will of God, failing to ignite the available grace offered to him. It took a new, different perspective, and wisdom to create the change that was desired.

Our guest today is Littleton M. Hurst III, from Portsmouth, VA, but raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He shares the following: I am the first in my family to own a home, likely to be the first to make six figures. I am truly blessed. I grew up with my connection to God being very loose. I had no faith as I faced many shortcoming at an early age. When I matured into manhood absent of dad and mom it was only our Father, who stood in the gap and protected me from myself as well as the world. I am who I am today and not who I used to be in the past. That reflection may be from yesterday or maybe even a year ago but I promise I am better every day that I put my trust in our Father. Littleton is the father of a son and daughter and is a submarine repair supervisor with Newport News Shipbuilding.

Do you have those days when you want to give up, but the Spirit of God won't let you go. When you're reminded, in Galatians 6:9 states, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." It states - if you don't give up! Well, I've come to the conclusion that I've Given Up, but not in doing good, but giving up trying to do it on my own. Galatians 2:20 reads, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." When I tell you that my life is not my own - to HIM I belong, I mean that with everything in me.
Join me this evening as the Holy Spirit EMPOWERS us to stay the course that He's set before us. Hebrews 12:1 reads, "“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,”(KJV) Family, I've laid it aside, I've Given Up and I'm going all the way with God. What about you?

Join me today at 12noon for lunchtime inspiration. I'm excited to hear what the Spirit of God will reveal. Let's look at Ruth 1:1-19 and focus on verses 15-19.
So she said, “See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.” 16 But Ruth said,
“Do not press me to leave you
or to turn back from following you!
Where you go, I will go;
where you lodge, I will lodge;
your people shall be my people,
and your God my God. 17 Where you die, I will die—
there will I be buried.
May the Lord do thus and so to me,
and more as well,
if even death parts me from you!”
18 When Naomi saw that she was determined to go with her, she said no more to her.
19 So the two of them went on until they came to Bethlehem. When they came to Bethlehem, the whole town was stirred because of them; and the women said, “Is this Naomi?”

Our guest today is Lady Shauntae C. Hudson. This amazing Kingdom gift is one who equips Women of Faith to professionally & authentically navigate their career and calling. Described by many as energetic, innovative, unorthodox, encouraging, passionate, and inspiring, I train faith-based professionals to uncover their advantage, gain visibility, and make an impact in their business, life, and world. She describes herself this way:
My uncanny ability to build integrity and mindfulness principles affords me to bring a "behind the mirror" approach to my relationships, to challenge individuals and tribes to explore their impact on themselves and others. Servicing thought leaders like me in a personal development space via workshops, conferences, and coaching, creates more helpful strategies to operate with relevancy and a creative edge for marketability and profitability. I ensure that you will achieve sufficient internal strength to interact with both secular and non-secular audiences effectively and comfortably without negotiating away your VALUE and PROFIT from your endeavors.
As a professionally licensed educator in urban education, I equip new teachers and Special-Ed educators to evolve in their instructional style and build healthy relationships with their students. I understand the complexities teachers face balancing instruction and classroom management; between personal teacher-efficacy and professional teacher-efficacy. Focused on simple, practical strategies that deliver tangible outcomes, I have facilitated many iconic educational programs.

This Sunday, join us as Apostle Benny releases a Word of empowerment. Has there been a BREAKDOWN in your communication with the Father regarding what you've been called to do? 1 Timothy 4:14-16 reads, "14 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you. 15 Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. 16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers." This is a powerful message that you don't want to miss. Meet us here at 8pm!

We are excited to have as our guest today, Pastor Amanda Muncy from Forward Ministries in Tazewell, Virginia.
Amanda share: My earthen, and heavenly assignment is to be a revolutionary world-wide in the kingdom of God. To set in course the feet of those chosen and appointed for such a time as this. To take the light, the fire of passion, love, and truth into the atmosphere of obscurity. Sounding the alarms, blowing the trumpet, holding the beacon of truth high, awakening the men of alarms to prepare. That those amid obscure darkness can see the light, as well as their stagnant disposition. To conquer change within myself as well as around me.

1 Peter 4: 7-11 reads, "7-11 Everything in the world is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted. Stay wide-awake in prayer. Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless—cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God’s words; if help, let it be God’s hearty help. That way, God’s bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and he’ll get all the credit as the One mighty in everything—encores to the end of time. Oh, yes!" This passage of scripture speaks volumes to my spirit and I pray that it has to yours as well. With all the changes taking place in the world, we must maintain a stance of readiness to fulfill purpose while exemplifying Christ in all thigs.

The Word declares in 2 Chronicles 16:9, “For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” Fully committed to HIM!! What's the difference between being useful, used and useless?
Useful is defined as capable of being put to use especially: serviceable for an end or purpose useful tools; functional. Used is defined as having already been used; useless is defined as not fulfilling or not expected to achieve the intended purpose or desired outcome. By definition alone, we may find ourselves in a place where change is needed. Self-examination is the first step in determining your position.

Author Alan Black was raised and grew up in the United Methodist Church. While he proudly embraces his background and personal history within the United Methodist Church, he feels that ultimately what is important is not the denomination that you are a part of, what matters most is the relationship that you have with the Lord. Part and parcel to any relationship is the level of commitment that one makes to it. With any and all relationships they are going to take time to grow.
He describes his relationship with the Lord using one word, “transformation.” Continuing to grow daily in his walk with the Lord, and as well continuing to display the fruits of his Spirit daily is for him what life is all about.
Book Synopsis
In The Spirit Intended the second book released by Alan T.Black is a continuation of his journey and purpose to be obedient to what God is calling him to do. It is a collection of 35 essays written as a way and means to inspire and encourage others as they go about the process of their daily walk with the Lord. Each essay is written as a reflection of the Lords’ presence and impact in our lives and is a refreshing alternative to the usual daily devotional ensemble. With intriguing titles such as “Footprints In The Sand “Metamorphosis” and “The Three Little Pigs” the reader will be lead to pause think and reflect on what each essay means to them and how the Lord may be calling them to answer their call In the Spirit Intended.

One thing that's evident in the sports arena, and in life as a whole, everyone wants to WIN. What does it mean to WIN and how do we maintain the WINning mindset. There are three words that were revealed to me regarding this:
W - Wisdom
I - Integrity
N - the power of NOW
Wisdom is defined as the soundness of an action or decision with regard to the application of experience, knowledge, and good judgment.
Integrity is defined as the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness; the state of being whole or undivided.
The power of Now requires that you keep your focus on what you are doing, without thoughts, while you are doing it!
Join us by dialing 323-927-3014 to join the conversation or listen via the web for these insightful Keys.
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Ephesians 6:11 NIV

This week, we want to shed light on the impact of selfish behavior, not only in sports but every relationship. In an article I was reading earlier, I found this, "The strength of any team rests in its’ group members’ willingness to surrender their individual goals and gain for the future success of the entire group. It’s only through this willingness to put your needs behind those of your team that great success is possible." As ones who desire to instill in our players and coaches a greater degree of awareness about character and integrity, it pains us to see teams suffer because of selfish desires. The Bible reveals in John 5:30, "I can do nothing on my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the one who sent me." How many athletes are seeking the will of true one that sent them?
Join us this morning as we share our experiences of dealing with selfish players and the adverse effect it has on teammates, coaches, spouses and others connected to them. Join the conversation by dialing 323-927-3014 or listen via the web, using the attached link.

There are many people who are speaking that they are Kingdom leaders, yet their language speaks to control and religion. As a Kingdom leader, what language should you be speaking; what sound are you releasing? Proverbs 16:1 reads, "The preparations[a] of the heart belong to man,
But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord."

We are excited to have as our guest this week, Coach Jaime Vest. Jaime graduated from Princeton Senior High School in 2017. During her senior year of high school, Vest was a AAA 3rd team All State member, a participant in the WV North-South All Star game, Bluefield Daily Telegraph’s Player of the Week for Week 8 and PSHS’s Female Athlete of the Year. Outside of athletics, Vest thrived in the classroom as well. She graduated with a 3.7 GPA, top 25 in her class and had many academic scholarships coming out of high school. She signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at Concord University, and after her freshman season, she transferred to Bluefield College to finish out her career.
Vest has had a basketball in her hands since she was four years old and now, at just twenty years old, she is one of four coaches back at PSHS. Coaching has always been a dream of hers, and she says it’s a blessing to be able to start her career at such a young age. Aside from coaching, Jaime aspires to be a special education teacher when she graduates in 2021. She wants to work with the youth in grades three through five, and continue coaching as well.

Over the past few weeks, I have been teaching about vision and the need for clarifying it for 2020. Habakkuk 2:2 reads, " And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." This morning in our travels, the Spirit of God spoke to me about the vision for our ministry and the next level in my assignment. I told God that I had a need for the next level and He posed this question, "Who have you shared your vision with?" I responded with a silly remark, only because I knew that He was about to deal with me to take heed to what I'd been teaching.
So today, we are going to talk about our vision statement for Empowerment Place Ministries, which is, "We are devoted to building an engaged, passionate, spiritually healthy community of believers, who desire to accept their earthly assignment, put it into action and impact the world. We will operate in the authority that we’ve been given from God and consistently succeed in all that He has given us to fulfill"
Empowerment Place Ministries is dedicated to impacting the lives of those who have been pressed down by life’s circumstances. We aim to enable and motivate men and women to enhance their quality of life, becoming champions of their future by presenting opportunities for spiritual, emotional, and educational transformation using Godly principles. We are committed to empowering individuals, thereby strengthening families and transforming communities. We do this through our books, conferences, empowerment sessions and teaching/preaching assignments - yet there is more.
We invite you to join us for this candid conversation about the work we've been given and our desire to continue EMPOWERING God's people. Dial in at 323-927-3014 to join the conversation or listen via the web.

This week, we will dialogue about our relationship with God as our All and All. There are many names and attributes of the Holy One, and I have to wonder if we are taking into consideration how we speak of Him. I've listened to a few love songs today, where they are claiming that they will give their all; the person they're in love with is their all; yet when challenges arise, the conversation changes. James Cleveland wrote the song, God Is and the lyrics read,
God is my protection.
God is my all and all.
God is my light in darkness.
God is my all and all.
God is my joy in time of sorrow.
God is my all and all.
God is my today and tomorrow.
God is my all and all.
God is the joy and the strength of my life,
He removes all pain, misery, and strife.
He promised to keep me, never to leave me.
He'll never ever fall short of His word.
This week, let's examine our relationship and begin to embrace His as our All and All.

12 And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and [a]admonish you, 13 and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.
14 Now we [b]exhort you, brethren, warn those who are [c]unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. 15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.

Join Tell Them Ministries for part 2 of our discussion on domestic violence. Our special guest will be Pastor Pamela N. Lewis of Share Word Shows Love in Washington, DC. She is a educator, a servant to God's people, a advocate and a survivor of domestic violence. We all know domestic violence is a crisis, epidemic and has spread like wild fire. You may know someone, love someone that is being affected and infected with this horrible reality. There was a time that domestic violence was hidden behind closed doors, we are seeing more and more evidence of the violence in our childern and families. The scriptures tell us, we are to love one another, we are to bless our childern, we are not to hurt one another. We've seen domestic violence in all walks of life. We've seen reports of it in our government, first responders, the sports industry, military, schools and yes even in our churches. this is not acceptable. October is domestic violence awareness month, the violence happens 365 days a years and for any reason. This should not be so, it has to stop.
This week, we are excited to have as our guest, Ms.Tracy Johnson, of Resurrection Temple of God. Tracy has been in my life for several years and I've enjoyed seeing her BECOME all that God desires for her life. This evening, she will share with us the topic, "Waiting on God for My Promises. Psalm 27:14 reads, "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." Are you in that position of waiting? Are you serving while waiting or complaining while waiting? Join Tell Them Ministries for a conversation about a topic that can be ignored, overlooked or pushed in a closet and even swept under a rug. More people than we would like to admit to go through and is going through Domestic Violence on a daily basis. Having been a victim, survivor and now a victorious, I have experienced this first hand. We all may have dealt with some form of violence in the home. It doesn't matter if it is a parent child relationship, mistreatment of the elderly. The husband and wife relationship is most known as the face of domestic violence. It can start with something so very small and grow into something that can and will be so devastating to the lives of everyone associated and the families involved. There are a number of levels to domestic violence and ways it's done. So many have literally escaped with their lives and just the clothes on their backs. The childern are scared and damaged from witnessing this behavior in the home. October has been set aside as National Domestic Violence awareness month, this is a 12 month, 365 days a years probelm. It does not matter the dynamics of the family, it can touch every walk of life, every economic status, every race, in this country and around the world. A man or woman can be to abuser, more often than not, it's the man who is the violent one. Let's talk about it.
Our teaching today is regarding the Parable of the Talents found in Matthew 25. We read in verses 14-19 the following, "For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. And likewise, he who had received two gained two more also. But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord's money. After a long time, the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
You know the story, the one that had the most received MORE! In this season, God wants us to take inventory of our talents to ensure that we're using them and not losing them. Listeners, what are you doing with your talents?

My question to you is, "How are you preparing for this - next?" There are strategies and models that have been established to aid us in becoming, but often we're not willing to make the investment.

Over the last few weeks we have share the important of the prayer watches and their meeting. We can pray about all things without ceasing. The prayer watches allows us to have strategies to prayer and warfare. It is my prayer that these teaching have given some clarity about prayer and it's importance. We all have a prayer assignment. Prayer changes everything. Prayer will changes each of us as we enter into prayer. Let us pray for one another.
It's a GREAT DAY in the Lord, and we are excited to be back with our listening audience today! Today, we will share about the importance of yielding to the Spirit of God for guidance. Join Tell Them Ministries for a continuation of the 8 prayer watches. We looked at the 1st, 2nd and the 3rd prayer watches on the last broadcast. Let's move forward together. Each of us have been given an assignment to pray. We read throughout the scriptures about prayer. Daniel prayed three times a day, Jesus prayed and still makes intercession for us. When the disciples questioned Jesus about casting out demons, Jesus said, this kind come out except by prayer and fasting. We see that prayer is a very important part of our lives, ministry and help for others. The prayer watches give us strategies, information and understanding their purpose may help you with your prayer life. We should never pray amiss. We should be listening and applying what we hear. Some have been called to be watchmen on the wall, standing guard against the wiles and devises of the enemy at all times. When are you called to duty? Luke 18:1 says, And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ougth to always pray, and not faint;

Join Tell Them Ministries as we take a look at prayers watches. There are 8 prayer watches we find in the bible. Each of us have a certain time we were given to watch and pray. Oftentimes you may not know which time you have been given. Some maybe awakened through out the night possibly with a heaviness to pray and seek the Lord. Some may have a yearning through the day. I know we may pray in the morning before the day gets started, some may pray before bed. We may also come together in groups, intercessory prayer in your church. All of these are good and effective. The scriptures tell us that the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. The 8 watches are specific in addressing issues and situation in the earth. We are call to be watchmen over the earth. We are to watch not only for the enemies activity but also for the manifestion of God's plan. Join the conversation. Join Tell Them Ministries for another discussion about prayer. What does it mean to pray without ceasing? Why is prayer so important for our everyday lives? Why is it that some don't pray? What are your thoughts? Is it lack of belief, lack of trust or lack of understanding? Let's take look and discuss. There are different types of prayer, we will take a look at them over the next few weeks. I would encourage everyone to pray and seek God and engage the Holy Spirit for our lives and famlies. People perish for lack of knowledge. Let's gain knowledge, wisdom and understanding. The scriptures give us constant reminders to pray and seek God for the solution to the problems we face everyday in our personal lives and the world. We must seek Giver and not what He has to give!!!

Join us for this bibical discussion on prayer. Some may not understand the effectiveness of prayer. Some may not believe in the power of prayer. Some may feel they don't know how to pray. Some may not believe in prayer at all. Let's talk about it. The bible tells us in Luke 18:1 KJV; And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought to always pray, and faint not. This is Jesus speaking. Many really don't spend any time in prayer and talking to the Father. All throughout the bible we see men and women trying to reach the Father through prayer and adding the component of fasting that can't be denied as a plus. When we lay our prayers before the Father, he is faithful and just. If we believe when we pray, we shall receive.
During the month of August, we are excited to be led in our teachings from the Diaconate Ministry of Resurrection Temple of God, where the Pastor is Maxine Winfield. This week, we will hear from Deacon Al Harris, as he speaks to us about the Holy Spirit as our Comforter. Join me as we revisit our faith walk. What are you putting your faith in? Are we believing what we see around us or are we believing the word of God? There are so many cicumstances that arise in our lives that may try our faith, try our patience and our beliefs. No matter what it is, God has an answer for it. We must seek Him diliently to find the answers. James 1:3 says, Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Romans 1:17 says,The just shall live by faith. We must believe that He is! Where is your faith?
Join the conversation. What do you do when your faith is being challenged? What do you do when you think your faith is not enough? We all face issues of life and sometimes may even question our faith. When issues arise in our families, relationships, our health, marriages and in our churches. Life has a way of making you question everything you believe in and hold so close. All through out the scriptures we see faith under fire. God has given all of us a measure of faith. What we do with it is our decision. God does not force us to do anything. God gave us a free will. We can build on that measure, we expand it, we walk in great faith or we can lose all faith. We may have faith for something small and that's good. Where is your faith for something big? Hebrews 11:1 says, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, KJV. When we read alittle further we see in that Hebrews 11:6 says, But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him, KJV.
Often, when we’re not fully engaged with the Holy Spirit for clarity about our assignemnt, we get frustrated and often give in. Philippians 1:6 reads, “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

Join Tell Them Ministries as we discuss, our attitudes when facing trouble. We all face adversity. We all face trials and tribulations. We all face challenges in our life. No matter what you call them, we all go through things in our lives. Oftentimes it seems that trouble will never end and there is one thing after another. How we look at a situation and go through it and how long we stay in it is determined by our attitude. What's your attitude when going through. We must operate according to God's word. We cannot lean to our own understanding. When we read through the scriptures, God tells us how we are to approach, deal with and go through life. Psalms 34:1 says, I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth, KJV. Psalms 28:7 say, The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise, KJV. We must look to the Lord in times of trouble and make the decision to live according the God's word.
1 Peter 2:9 reads, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” (NIV). Do you know what it feels like to experience the Royal way of living?

Join Tell Them Ministries for another discussion on this topic. Since starting this series, I have had numerous conversations pertaining to this topic. Some have been directly and others indirectly, they all refer back to past issues and how to deal with the new. Regardless of what we do, we must get to the root of the matter. What is the originate. More often than not our emotions, problem solving skills and the decisions we make are based on things we were taught, things we learned along the way or not. God desires that we be healed and set free. Deliverance is the childrens bread, so why aren't we eating the bread. Let's talk about it. Wilt thou be made whole?
We are excited this week to have as our guest, Minister Ivy Stiltner, a Kingdom Powerhouse! Ivy has a tremendous heart for God's people and enjoys serving in the capacity of a teacher. Join Tell Them Ministries for another discussion about fault and responsibility. There sre so many things we deal with on a daily basis and the way we handle or don't handle can be based on what we were taught as children. The response we give may be because of the way we were trained. Even as adults we can act like children. Our behavior can seem very childish. We fight, kick and scream, we may even throw a temper tantrum. I have said it and this has been proven, that oftentime our adult behavior can be tied to a childhood trauma. Some may deny it, some may agree, people are different in the way they deal issues of life. Yes, offense will come and situation will arise. We must make a decision to deal with our pass, our present and ultimately look to the future. We must get to the root of the matter. Everything starts with a seed being planted. We must look at the seeds that may have been planted in us.
Joshua 24:14-15 reads, “14 “Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (ESV)
We often talk a good game but are we serious about our relationship with God and adhering to His Kingdom principle? This week, let’s yalk about choices and discover where our truth lies as it pertains to our obedience and choices

Join Tell Them Ministries for this discussion of healing. No matter what we go through there are levels of responsibility required. In relationships, on your job and in your family. So often issues are swept under the rug or totally dismissed. When searching for truth and healing we must go beyond the surface and get to the root of the matter. This is not easy but it is worth it. In order to move forward and not stay stuck in the same cycles of life circumstances, we must deal with these things. There are a number of factors that come into play and make up our character, the way we handle situations and interact with others. Every detail is important. Nothing should be overlooked, the details that maybe looked upon as small or a non factor, maybe the very things that could make the difference in failure and success. We must be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Wilt thou be made whole?
We are excited to have as our guest this week, Minister Donna Wilson-Johnson. Donna is a powerful gift to the Kingdom of God who understands the path ahead and is diligently preparing and going through the process. This week, Donna will share from the topic, Bloom and Grow!
Ephesians 4:29-32 reads, "29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God,with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Join Tell Them Ministries for another discussion that will empower, equip and encourage! WE all have something going on in our lives that maybe confusing, that something that seems to follow us no matter where we go or what we do. Sometimes we can find the answer and other times it seems to escape us. We've endured test, trials and tribulations. It's not my fault but my repsonsibilty is not meant to encourage you to consistently blame someone else for your troubles. This is meant to have you take a look at how things of the past can cause issues in your life today and days to come. In the book of Deuteronomy chapter 28, it tells us of the curses and blessings. It tells us that the sins and blessing of the fathers can and will befall on the children for many generations. When we look at those things passed down from generation to generation we are now referring to those generational traits, habits, beliefs that are passed down. When we get to the root of the matter we can then begin the healing and deliverance process and it is a process. There are things that must be dealt with, retaught and relearned. The scripture tells us to renew our minds. Wilt thou be made whole?
Happy Father’s Day! We are excited to have as our guests this week Coach Shelby Key and her father, Joseph Tolbert III. Their story may seem normal to many but recognizing the impact that her dad has made in her life in a short period of time is heartwarming.

Join Tell Them Ministries for another conversation based on the word of God. We all have gone through a number of things in life. We all exhibit certain behaviors and have a truckload of problems, issues and situations we have been involved in along life's journey. We must realize that so many things come from things we have gone through, the excess baggage! Many have been abused, assaulted, violated and just mistreated. Oftentimes these things happen when we are children. We may get stuck in that place and so many times we pick up certain behaviors and habits. Until we get to the place of being healed and whole, we will continue to remain in that place. God desires for us to be healed, whole and free. Wilt thou be made whole. We cannot wait on someone else to do the work for our healing. We must do the work. It is our responsibilty to seek our healing and wholeness. Are you willing to do to what it take to get there? Do you want to be healed? Deliverance is the childrens bread!!!!
Jeremiah 29:11 reads, " For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." We've read this scripture and recited it many times, but are we allowing our minds to execute it during trying times? Are you lacking determination when things seem foggy?
This week, we want to encourage and EMPOWER you to know that YOU HAVE PURPOSE! God has not made a mistake and that which you're hearing from the Holy Spirit is true, there is an expected end for you and it's good! Join us by dialing in at 323-927-3014 or use the attached link to listen via the web.

Join Tell Them Ministries for another conversation about self-care. So often we get entangled of other things, we're caring for others on a daily basis, we put ourselves on the back burner and push us to the side. It's time to do a better job of taking care of ourselves. Everything we need is referenced in the bible. God has addresses it all in the scriptures. It does not matter if it's sickness and disease, finances, family, jobs, church, relationships. We must get to a place that we stop and read, listen and speak what God says about us, for us and to us. Rest is a very important part of self-care. The question is asked " Wilt thou be made whole" covers every area of our lives. Join the conversation, dial 1-323-927-3014 at 8AM Saturday morning, June 6, 2019.
Matthew 14:29-30 (NIV) reads, "29 “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Join Tell Them Ministries for another conversation about taking care of yourself. We know that water is an essential part of caring for yourself. We must also take a look at the foods we put in our bodies. Ask yourself the questions, Am I living to eat or am I eating to live? There are so many facets of eating and why we eat. We binge eaters, emotional/stress eaters, vegetarians, meat eaters and grazers. Which are you? No matter which way you are classified, you must be mindful of what you are eating and how it's prepared. So many want to lose weight, some may want to gain weight( imagine that). Regardless of where you are, you must be balanced. You must determine what works for you. There is nothing about us that is cookie cutter, we are all different. Some can do the samething and some must find a different way. You must know your body. Lifestyles, medications and finances play a major part in why some people eat the way they do. Wilt thou be made whole? Let's talk about it. Dial 1-323-927-3014 on Saturday morning June 1, 2019 at 8am.

Join Tell Them Ministries with your host Apostle Gloria Hawkins for this discussion about taking care of your self. We all lead busy lives and wear multiple hats. So often we forget to take care of ourselves while caring for others. It doesn't matter male or female, it is important to care for yourself. We must eat right, exercise, rest, drink water, we must make healthy choices. We must change our lifestyles. Sometimes little changes can make a world of difference. When we make ourselves as important as we make others and other things we can make the changes that are needed. We must commit to change. We must also seek ye first the Kingdom of God. We must engaged the Holy Spirit for direction. We must stop making excuses and procrastinate. We must be intentional about serving God, loving, living and being committed to the changes. We will not only feel better and rest better, we will be able to serve more efficiently and at a higher level excellency for the Lord. There are many scriptures that give us guidance on being healthy. John 5:6, With thou be made whole? This is just one. Let's make some changes and be good stewards over our temples.
We are excited this week to have as our special guest, Pastor Sylvia Cooper from New Kingdom of Judah Ministries where she serves with her husband, Apostle Thomas Cooper. Is there anything too hard for God?
We all have a dash. This is the time between birth and death. This space of time can have ups, downs, sadness, happiness, sickness and pain. The list goes on and on. We all can testify of having something going on all the time. We all believe we have a call on our lives. We may not know what that call is or what we a meant to do but we know there is something we are to do. One place where we miss it is, not knowing God’s pla for our lives. This is where we should start. Ask God for the instructions for His plan for your life. We see this in Jeremiah. God knows the plans He has for our lives. We may read instructions for putting together a bicycle or read instruction about a compute and even read a recipe to make a new dish, we oftentimes we done read the instruction manual for our lives. Why is that? This should now be so. Let’s talk about. Dial in 323-927-3014.Saturday morning at 8AM
Happy Mother's Day to all mother's! We are excited this week to share with you'll the impact of a mother's love. Having a parent pass away is a traumatic event for most people and in some cases, causes anxiety and depression in the grief process. I'm grateful that we didn't experience those emotions, and that was due to the peace that we experienced while they were still with us. This week, we will share a few accounts of some lasting moments we spent with our mother's.

Join Tell Them Ministries for another discussion from the Word of God. Oftentimes we are believing God for a promise. You know in your very soul that you have been given a promise from God. It may seem as if it is not manifesting, you being to ask when God when? How much longer will you have to wait? Then you start to question if you heard correctly. There are a number of reasons this could be held up. I am a witness, you must hold fast and continue to believe and trust the Lord. God is faithful and true. When we look throughout the bible, we see those who waited to receive their promise. One person was Hannah. She believed, trusted, cried, waited, doubted, questioned. She had the same emotions we often have when we are waiting and believing. When you at Hannah and her frustrations, you see that no matter what she continued to believe. No matter what was being said by others around her. She could see what was in the natural but she believed the supernatural. Where have you set your belief?
1 Samuel 1..

Join Tell Them Ministries for a thought provoking discussion. The question is, what is your yoke? Whose yoke are you carrying? So often we meet those that are bound and in constraints of one kind or another. If you operate in the gifting of Discerning of spirits, you can discern the issues at hand. If you have your ears open to hear the voice of God, He will reveal, enlighten and with the leading of the Holy Spirit the yokes will be made clear. We as a people are so bound and unable to move in any direction. Let’s take a look at what Jesus taught about the yoke. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus tells us how to be free of the yoke that has us confined.
Matthew 11:28, Come unto me ,all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek lowly in heart; and he shall find rest unto your soul. 30. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. KJ

Join the conversation with Tell Them Mininstries and Apostle Gloria Hawkins as we ask the question, whom will you serve? There is a decision the every person must make. We all have choices of what we do, where we go. We also have a choice of who we will serve. The Father gave each of us free will to chose between right and wrong, to go left or right. The Word of God also says,
And if it seem evil unto you to the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15,KJV. We cannot continue to be divided in our lives and roll with whatever feels good or we think is right. We must make a choice. Whom will you choose?
Luke 4:43. but He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also because for this purpose I have been sent.” What were you sent here to do? What is your God-given purpose? Do you know? Have you ever thought about it? If it ever seems like your life is missing something, if it ever seems like your life lacks significance, most of this is probably due to the fact that you do not know what your purpose is and you can't finish what you don't know!
Each one of us has talent and gifts and abilities, we all have a purpose! Jesus knew both His purpose and priorities and so completely fulfilled God’s plan for His life. Join us for this conversation as we aim to empower you to discover what your purpose is, and we pray that you will make the necessary adjustments in your priorities to fulfill that purpose.

Join Tell Them Ministries with Apostle Gloria Hawkins for a conversation about Unmasking the Pain. Questions have been asked, inquiries have been made. We all go through things in our lives, hurts, happiness, sadness, abuse, mistreatment of some kind may have taken place. Oftentimes we can become stuck there emotionally and still live out our lives with that lingering memory tormenting us, hindering us. We may have tried to forget, live a life of denial just to get through the day. We may never know what someone is going through or dealing with. We may pass judgement on someone and not even know their story. They maybe dealing with the injury the only way they know how to. People self medicate, over indulge, do too much or not enough. We see it everyday. We have those that live life with broken pieces and getting through one day at a time is their greatest accomplishment. Jesus was mocked, abused, suffered, bleed and died for each of us. The question is, Wilt thou be made whole. There is greater waiting. Love yourself, know yourself, value yourself, know who you are, know your self-worth!

Join Tell Them Ministries with Apostle Gloria Hawkins as she continues to discuss the issue of Domestic Violence. This evil is present in so many families maybe even yours. There are a number of names given: spousal abuse, child abuse, elderly abuse, partner abuse. No matter what the label is, it's still abuse and it's in every culture, every race, every religion, etc. This is not dedicated to one class of people. We must stop ignoring the signs. Ask questions, pay attention, seek help, offer help. We know that a person's self worth is dimenished and they question every aspect of their lives. I want people to know these truths. God loves US! WE are fearfully and wonderfully made. WE are more than we were made to believe. WE can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. WE are not alone. All day, there’s been a resounding word in my ear, “live the Kingdom way”! I can attest to the fact that when you’re surrendering to God’s plan, things certainly do have a way of being increase in your life. I was reminded from a teaching given by Ambassador Rodney Veney in 2017, from the scripture Matthew 11:28, 29, “Any form of struggle is not a sign of kingdom life. On the contrary, struggle is a sign that we are not doing it God’s way” (Proverbs 13:15). That’s food for thought!

Join Tell Them Ministries with Apostle Gloria Hawkins for this very timely and discussion. There will be an open discussion on the subject of Domestic Violence. We all know that the month of October has been set aside and named Domestic Violence Awareness month. This is apart of everyday life for so many. There is evidence in our churchesand on our jobs of people we may know that are dealing with this at home. So many men and women live in pride, fear, shame and embarassment everyday. Having experienced domestic violence personally, I can truly understand what some may not. Where to go and what to do, are just a couple of questions the victims have. We've all heard and have probably said this phrase" hurt people hurt people". This is very true. What can we do to help stop the violence. Join the conversation on Saturday morning. Dial 1-323-927-3014 at 8am.
From the beginning, in Genesis chapter 1:28 it reads, “28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” We were EMPOWERED from the very beginning but what happened to us?
Join us this evening for a candid conversation about those things HMR hat may hinder us from walking in dominion and power, those things that cause us to feel that we aren’t empowered. Dial in at 323-927-3014 or use the attached link.
Join Tell Them Ministries with Apostle Gloria Hawkins for another anointed teaching from the word of God. In this broadcast Apostle Hawkins will take a look at things that hinder the body of Christ. So many people in the body of Christ are broken and bleeding on one another, we see this through out the bible and the body. The bible scriptures address these issues. We all have things in life that we have lived through. Jesus came and died on the cross that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Jesus has already suffered, bleed and died for our healing. The question now according to

We are excited this week to have as our Special Guest, Minister Stephanie Dillon. Stephanie shares, close to 42 years, she never could imagine that she would be where she is today. She is married to the first guy she ever kissed, in a loving blended family of 5 children, and proclaims that the past is behind her! She has endured sexual abuse, mental abuse, failed relationships, financial ruin, depression, insecurity, fear, and feelings of inadequacy - but God! Stephanie states that God revealed Himself to her over the years in so many that she knew it was time to surrender her all to Christ, and she did. God is using every piece of her life for His Glory! She's reminded in the Word of God from Psalm 92, that He wants us to flourish like a palm tree, understanding that every part of the palm tree is useful. Stephanie is confident that what God has brought her through can happen for you too, for Jeremiah 29:11 lets us know that God has plans for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us.

Join Tell Them Ministries with Apostle Gloria Hawkins for another biblical, foundational teaching on forgiveness. There are many things God instructed us to do and forgive is one of them. We must forgive. We must get our heart right. We must get our head right. Being forgiven and being forgiving is a powerful move. This will put you in the position of strength, healing and the ability to help someoneelse. God forgives us for our sins and shortcomings, mistakes,mis-steps, we must operate with the love of Christ. Ephesians 4:32, tells us, And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. KJV
I hear a lot of people say, "I love you," and based on who it's from, I don't need an explanation. When it comes to love, I receive from my heavenly Father, that's clear to me as well. Where I've faced challenges in the past, are those times when I thought I was ready for love from a significant other - and I wasn't.
“Love yourself first, and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” – Lucille Ball
When you love yourself more, then things become merely lighter and easier. You won’t make as many mountains out of molehills (or out of plain air) as you used to. Or beat yourself up or drag yourself down over mistakes or temporary setbacks. We must come to terms with our past, forgive ourselves, embrace our truth moving forward and begin to LOVE ourselves. It sounds easy, but so many struggle with it.
This week, we will dialogue about our need for love, our definition of love, our ability to love, and the benefits of love. Join us by dialing in at 323-927-3014or use the attached link to be EMPOWERED!
Join Tell Them Ministries with Apostle Gloria Hawkins for another teaching looking at fasting and praying. Isaiah 58, is our foundation scripture. God has called us to a life of fasting and praying. When we are obedient, we will receive the blessings and the benefits. It time to get to another level in Him. We miss out on so much when we do not afflict our own souls. My prayer is for everyone to get to and maintain a more excellent life in Christ Jesus. Dial 323-927-3014 every Saturday morning at 8AM...
When it comes to prayer, we've always been taught that we are to constantly be talking to God but when that conversation becomes babble, which is disorderly communication. The Father's heart should be the source of your heavenly communication system, and when it's not - change is needed. Ambassador Rodney Veney, in his book, The Joseph Initiative, shares that "Any communication from Holy Spirit will always be consistent with the intent of the Father's heart. This is the model for communication that we must learn to follow.
Join us this week for this insightful conversation. Our desire is that you understand that the objective of prayer is to hear the sound of the Lord and communicate it. Dial in at 323-927-3014 and be Empowered!

Matthew 5:14-16 reads, " 14-16 “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven." (MSG)

Jeremiah 29:11 reads, "11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (NIV) The Holy Spirit led me to this scripture on Saturday evening to share with our Men's basketball team before their game and I did before I prayed with them. The outcome of the game was not what we'd anticipated but the interactions and decisions that I witnessed by others challenged me.

Psalm 91:1-2 reads, " 1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” When trouble arises in our lives, we are taught to call 911, be it for police, fire or EMS services - when we need help, we know what to dial. Do we use this same practice when we find ourselves in a spiritual challenge? Are we calling on God and taking refuge in Him during our times of trouble?

Jeremiah 12:1-6 presents a complaint and cry for justice from Jeremiah because of his treatment from men. There is another cry from Jeremiah in chapter 17 for deliverance. Verses 14-18 read, " 14 Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. 15 They keep saying to me, “Where is the word of the Lord? Let it now be fulfilled!” 16 I have not run away from being your shepherd; you know I have not desired the day of despair. What passes my lips is open before you. 17 Do not be a terror to me; you are my refuge in the day of disaster. 18 Let my persecutors be put to shame, but keep me from shame; let them be terrified, but keep me from terror. Bring on them the day of disaster; destroy them with double destruction.
There are a few more accounts of Jeremiah's cry and it reminds me of those we encounter and often our own selves. This week, we will share our thoughts on the appropriate actions during our time of distress. Dial in at 323-927-3014 and be Empowered!
