Started his career as a DJ a couple of decades ago, playing whenever and wherever it was possible, small parties, abandoned buildings, huge festivals and from time to time in now forgotten Clubs. Laying dormant for a couple of years until he embarks in an unknowing pilgrimage, again and again he finds himself discovering new and fresh interpretations of a sound he thought forgotten. After the realization set in, nachtPilger set to codify his discoveries into more music hopefully propagating his unhealthy compulsion to the rest of the world. His sounds come from the dark corners, reverberating with unmentionable thougths and nameless whispers. [nP]
Booty Rave con Queso is a sweaty, bass-loaded fever dream where techno gets freaky with Latin grooves and zero shame. Expect bouncy kicks, spicy guaracha edits, and enough low-end to rattle your fillings — all wrapped in a layer of sonic queso so gooey it should be illegal. This is not a refined tasting menu — it’s a rave buffet starting at 155 BPM, served straight from the back of a bootleg quesadilla (con queso) truck parked outside a Berlin warehouse. Bring your hips, leave your ego, and prepare to perrear in the shadows.

while most of my Dj sets are losely planned, this one was carefully planned and allowed me to play some unique tracks. Using some of my tracks i made a live act consisting of an electron Digitakt, a Synthstorm Deluge and a series of constantly changing synths, in this recording im using most probably a Virus Ti Snow. The tracks were played live with the arrangement improvised from a selection of predetermined strucutures laid out beforehand in the deluge. The project was abandoned because of the complicated handling of samples in the deluge and its sometimes inconsistent form of handling grouped channels in the scene view was driving me crazy. I still use the deluge for a lot of tasks and i plan to incluede it in my next live act, but not as the center of the set up more as a loop and sample station. The digitakt as always is my favorite tool of the live act setup, and its the one im using to control the drums, it allows me to do a lot of improvisation and to keep me interesting while playing live.
I stopped recording the Pilgrimages because they where taking too much time out of my schedule and i wanted to focus on Producing music, now i have arranged my schedule better and i think i will be able to do both. I'll keep the Pilgrimages to once a month to showcase the music im working in and also the music im listening to.

La musica que UMA nos comparte al mezclar es energetica y lista para la pista de baile, pero tambien obscura y levanta reflecciones sobre las cuales muchos podemos empatizar. En la entrevista hablamos de muchas cosas como equipo y consejos de como empezar a mezclar, así como de su historia con la música y mucho mas!
Me la pase increible grabando esta entrevista, pero sin duda se nota que es mi primera vez intentandolo, asi de que perdoneme la calidad tan terrible con la que se grabaron los microfonos, y si tienen consejos de como mejorarlo no duden en decirme!
This last few months ive been working hard on finishing tracks, this is the first track i was able to finish after a long dry spell :)
I decided to upload this Track, its finished and not finished. I've been going through a lot of self doubt and had not finished a project for a long time luckily i've found a system to turn around and i've already finished 2 tracks in this past 2 weeks, and ill be sharing some of that very soon.
Meanwhile here is a project that sounds well but did not convince me at the time, and now the ableton project is messed beyond recognition and i dont have the energy to restore it, so here is a track to represent self doubt, fear and inaction.
I've been doing a lot of self work lately focused on my music production. One of the things I'm working on is my self doubt, so i've decided to start a new series of DJ sets. The new rule of this sets are: They all are new tracks that I haven't played It's recorded in one take, mistakes and all If i dont end up playing the track, it goes into the pool for future recordings like this.
This time around I think went pretty well, until the very end where i was running out of ideas. Im really liking the new Summer Hits from RAW its got a lot of great tracks but they are so unique and trashy (In a good way, the best of ways) that i dont want to be playing too many of them in one night.
Anyways I hope you like this set because i had a lot of fun recording it.

This week i had a blast playing some new tracks. I was re energized by life and it reflected on the music.

For the 20th edition of the Pilgrimage, i went over and played a Livestream for the Virtual Berghain Facebook Group. They are a great combination of music geeks, dancers and loveley wierdos, you should join it, to listen to all of the 48hrs of Techno! theres some great sets over there. During the transmission Facebook decided that some of the remixes i was playing where a No - no for their copyright system. And my set was interrupted multiple times. Im glad usually i play in Mixcloud and none of that happens!.
This week I'm starting a game that i hope will be recurring on this show. I asked a friend to give me the name of 3 Artists and 3 Labels, and all of the music i picked for tonigt comes from 1 degree conection to either of them. I wanted more freedom to be able to play weird and unique sets for this techno pilgrimage, and i signed up for the beatport link trial. The playlist making was fun and its really interesting to have access to a ton of tracks but, once i started playing i ran into a ton of small tech issues, like for example if you have Link tracks playing, rekordbox stops recording, so that was a bummer and it messed up the first 30 minutes of this mix. Here's the rest of what turned out to be a pretty deep deep dub techno and house set.
This last weekend was an opportunity for me to try out some new Hard Techno Tracks, also getting used to playing at 155 BPM.
This pilgrimage was a special one to record becase after talking to NATAN and hearing his musical ideas I was ready to try new stuff on the decks, and it turned out into a smashing set!
For the 16th Pilgrimage we had a visit from my dear friend NATAN, we had to catch and I had a blast listening to his set! I had a ton of Technical issues recording this Pilgrimage, i normally dont edit them before uploading them to SoundCloud, but this time i cut like 20 minutes off the beggining. I was going to play in a rave this last weekend but it got cancelled at the last minute. This are the tracks I would have played there!
On a last minute turn of events i ended up playing some 140bpm minimal techno and house, it was fun and weird at the same time. I would definitely try it again with more recent tracks
Our Usual pilgrimage programming, banging hard and rave techno to keep the eyes open the legs dancing and the mind tripping. Ive been toying around with a new labeling system for my playlists and i think its paying off
the twelfth Pilgrimage was all about finding a chills spot to enjoy the vibes pouring out of the speakers. Lots of oldschool minimal and chill house in this one!

This set was recorded live on march 21st for a festival organized by the Virtual Berghain Facebook group. it was a blast, not only recording it but also listening to a lot of great talent.
I can't stress enough how big of a hit was losing my Rekordbox library, all of my music cataloguing and organization was lost there and i was met with thousands of music files with no quick way to navigate though them. My solution was to forget about my older music for a while and buy a bunch of new stuff, and because lately ive been listening a lot of Rave and Hard Techno I decided to slowly build up a new set based on that. This and the previous Pilgrimages have been my attempts to harness the wildness of this musical style.
After I lost my rekordbox library last week, i decided to get back on my feet as quickly as possible, and bougt a bunch of new tracks from Beatport. I've been enjoying playing Rave Techno a lot lately, it reminds me a bit of my early days of mixing techno! This set was recorded on a Friday, because a dear friend of mine from the other side of the world really wanted to dance. I hope you guys dance with this set also!

I had been playing with Plaits for some time in VCV Rack and suddenly stumbled into an interesting track here, most of the basic sounds here are created in a Rack and then moved over to be proceses in Ableton for Arrangement and the works. I like to close my eyes and dance to this one.
Created in one day for the first day of my 5 days 5 Tracks challenge. I wanted to play around with textures generated using the Kick Drum. I like the deep slowly evolving feeling it has! Im very happy although i think some parts should be still polished!
A driving, slightly emotional piece, in my mind it started completly different from what it ended up now. Also it was my first attempts to create sounds with the VCV rack, and i am deeply satisfied by the ending sound. Lots of the rythmic sounds are created there.
I Was really eager finish this track, I feel it reflects the sound I'm Looking for, better than my previous releases. Its got some banging low end while a lot of sounds design for the higher part of the track.
I was following this Melodic Techno course and this track came out of it. Its melancholic but i feel it somehow manages to have a lot of energy.
I've been working in this track for some time and im glad i finally managed to finish it. What i really like is the complexity that comes from simple 1 bar sounds. Also right before the ending the way it evolves from a dark mood to a brighter clearer mood.
