Want to break through procrastination and enhance your productivity?
Here are five methods I've used regularly to get in the zone and let ideas start flowing.
1. Make Micro-commitments - Momentum generates motivation.
Walk Before Working - Walking has been shown to enhance creativity. Since momentum generates motivation, the physical movement gets you into a state of action.
Become Inspired - Reading can spur your mind with fresh ideas when you ask, "How would I put that into my own words?
Work Through Fears and Uncertainty - Fears and uncertainty are many times at the root of procrastination. There can be fear of failure, fear of wasting time, uncertainty about what you're wanting to accomplish leading to indecision, and more.
Use Accountability - Add accountability by telling people when your project will be complete and offer them something if it isn't done. I used to offer friends $20 if I didn't get a done by a particular date.
Which of these will you begin to implement now?

4 Steps to Create A Powerful of Brand Message
Many marketers get very confused with their branding social platforms, their , and even within products. It’s hard for people to tell that they’re getting products from the same person or brand because nothing is consistent. It can to your ideal audience and even more confusing to your actual customers. I'm not talking necessarily about fonts and colors here. Rather, I'm talking about...
The Power of One Clear Direct Powerful Message
When you are developing your brand, it’s important to know the answers to the following 4 questions and to look at them every time you create anything.
Find out the 4 questions as you listen to todays Success Life Radio
When things are piling up, back logging, and there is more work to be done than you have time and staff to do it, you are going to pay one of the 4 following costs:
The Cost of Missing Out – You’re going to have to turn down some of the opportunities in front of you. And you’ll have to risk missing out on something by just saying no altogether and crossing it off your list of projects. The Cost of Hiring More Staff – You need to invest money into bringing on more people to help you do all of the work that you’re creating. The Cost of Doing it Yourself – You will have to pick up the slack personally on the things that your team can’t get to and do some of those things yourself. This is typically the most expensive option because you’re either paying someone else to do something at their rate of pay or you’re paying yourself to do it at yours. The Cost of Waiting – You can choose to be okay with the project or task being delayed until your team completes the existing things in the queue and has the necessary capacity to take on these additional items. This is also known as patience – and very few people today have any.
What is important to realize, whether you like it or not, is that when you are overwhelmed you’re always going to pay one of these 4 costs.
It can feel hopeless when you’re overwhelmed and there is more to get to than you can ever possibly do, but that’s just a feeling.
The reality is that you are very much in control. You have 4 choices. And you are capable of making any of the 4 choices… but you will have to choose one.
So make your choice and be okay with it.
Because what you do not want is the cost of extra stress and feeling helpless.
“What do I do if I don’t have a specific goal? What will it mean for my life if I don’t have clarity about what I’m supposed to be doing? What if I’m still searching for meaning?”
It’s been said that if you find your WHY you’ll discover the HOW. But for people they have a hard time finding their WHY. So here are 20 WHAT questions that might help you find your WHY.
What amount of money do you want to make? What places would you like to visit in the world? What type of job would you like to do each day? What would your perfect day look like in terms of how you spent your time and what you were doing? What are the characteristics of your perfect spouse? What do you want to look like? What do you want to give back to the world? What do you want to be known for? What are the things you believe in most? What people can help you get to where you want to go?What are the things you would like to have? What are the most exciting things you’d like to try? What events would you like to go to?What type of house do you want to have? What people would you like to meet? What amount of money do you want to have at retirement? What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail? What things would have to happen in order to accomplish that huge dream? What do you want people to think of when they think of you? What people do you want to spend most of your time with?
Here’s what I ask when an opportunity comes my way:
What could go wrong and am I willing to accept the consequences if it does?Does this make sense, or am I trying to make sense out of it?Am I prepared to do this?Do I increase or decrease my options by waiting? When is the best time to make the right decision?
Here’s something else I know: Today you’re being presented with an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

To grow to our full potential, we have to be in the right environment. Growth thrives in favorable conditions. You and I grow the most when we surround ourselves with people and opportunities conducive to our development.
What does a good growth environment look like?
1) A place where others are ahead of me.
2) A place where I’m continually challenged.
3) A place where my focus is forward.
4) A place where the atmosphere is affirming
Follow me on social media @ericgreid

5) A place where I wake up excited.
6) A place where failure isn’t my enemy.
7) A place where others are growing.
You want to have more courage and be more confident. You want to walk into a room and feel comfortable starting a conversation. You want to be brave and start that project or apply for that dream job. Whatever it is, you’ve got something you want to do, and you want the confidence to do it. But I’m going to tell you something, and it’s probably going to surprise you. Confidence is overrated. It’s not nearly as important as you think. Today I’m talking about why confidence is overrated and what is ten times more important.
So when we talk about wanting to feel more confident, most of us want this. We want that certainty and self-assurance mentioned in the definition. But here’s the thing. Certainty? We want to know that the next step is "safe". Well, guess what 99.9% of the time it's not. Why? Because of it being a new thing we are dong based on the need to get it done and the commitment we made to start.
So maybe you should stop thinking so much about confance and think about the necessarity of oyou "just doing it"
Today I want to talk about Align Yourself To Success
I have had to do a lot of belief shifting on the idea of “achieving” and "success" and what that meant for me. In the world I grew up in, I was conditioned to want more, have more and be more. This constant energy of more created a sense that who I was and what I had was somehow not enough. Therein lies the “achievement” trap that was killing me, the never-ending hamster wheel I found myself running on which was exhausting and unfulfilling.
I started to ask myself "What would it look like if we changed the hamster wheel analogy and replaced it with a path a journey?" That was when I started thinking about building a Life of Success and learning to live in Alignment.
Guess what I now feel calmer and more excited about walking that path and feeling energized and excited to see what is up ahead while enjoying the view along the journey.
Join me on the Success Life radio episode as I talk about Achievement vs. Alignment

What does the word commitment suggest? It usually evokes a strong sense of intention and focus. It typically is accompanied by a statement of purpose or a plan of action. Very often, we utilize this word in regard to proclamations we may make about the seriousness of our relationships. For example, “I’m in a committed relationship,” or “I’m completely committed to this relationship.” In such circumstances, what exactly are we saying?
The difficulty is that we’re making promises about behaviors and outcomes, but ignoring the process necessary to achieve those goals.
If we are seeking a Life of Success we need to first understand Commitment and then Understand the cost of that Commitment.

Who wants to be happy? Well, who doesn't? After a coaching session this morning, it struck me that when we focus on chasing our wants, our level of happiness actually drops. The more we focus on what we don't have, the more deprived we feel. After all, inherent in the meaning of "wanting" is not having, and you cannot feel fulfilled while you focus on what you lack. That is a fundamental principle of all spiritual thinking. So, here's the fix: If you want to be happy, be grateful for what you have. Focus on that. First
Then start to ask yourself - what is it I "want" about this thing or experience?
What will happen if I pass on it?
We have all had that experience that we wanted something so badly that all things stoped until we acquired it ... only to be disappointed.

Learning to live with those Expectations
We live our lives trying to fulfill expectations, both our own and others'. Sometimes, they can be daunting, but ignoring them won't make them go away. You need to learn how to deal with them and rise to the challenge.
It's important to note that expectations aren't the same as targets. Your target might be to get straight A's or 10 clients this week but don't let that also be your expectation.
We all have expectations in our lives: what we want out of life and who we want to become. I believe one of the keys to happiness lies within the management of your expectations of people and circumstances.

"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with".' Jim Rohn
This quote is one of the often used quotes in personal development. It is supposed to keep reminding us over and over again. That I am the average of the five people I spend the most time with. Others around myself determine how I think, how I act, and ultimately how successful I will be.
But what would happen if I wanted to be above the average of the five people I spend the most time with? What would it take me to move to the next level and who would I need to know and how would I get to know them?

A person with high confidence will be really competent and a person with high competency will have real confidence.
Ideally everyone should focus on both and perform every task in life with maximum confidence and competence.
Both can be enhanced with the help of positive self affirmations and by doing really challenging and tough tasks.
Confidence is the self belief that you can perform whereas Competence is your real capacity of performing.
There's a famous quote, which is really true, on confidence by an unknown author. It says ‘Confidence is like a muscle: the more you use it, the stronger it gets’.
No human being will work hard at anything unless they believe that they are working for competence — William Glasser.

There have been times in my life – as I reflect upon it I am sad to say– that I have been a coward.
But then there have been other times, more in comparison I am proud to say, when I have risen to the challenge, learned from my mistakes, and stood up to fight like a "man".
Becoming a dad has reinforced the fight within me.
And what fight might that be?
The fight for both mine and my family’s future. The fight to fulfill my destiny. The fight to pull out of this life as much potential as I possibly can. The fight for goodness. The fight for the truth. The fight for excellence. The fight for wealth. The fight for health. The fight for yet unfulfilled dreams.
What are you willing to fight for? You know it will not be easy.

What does it mean to be truly all-in? We say things like “I am all in on this one” or I am leaving nothing on the sidelines” or “this is all or nothing time”. I had made the statement the other day to a friend battling cancer that it sounded like she had to learn to “surrender all”. Which is what sparked this idea of what is “ALL”. I know what all means but what I started to think about is what does it look like when you really go all in for a dream and idea a desire.
Getting Lost In Thought So I Can Find Myself
I have been thinking a lot about getting lost and what it means: in action, in thought, in physical space. To me, there is no other way to lose yourself that is so satisfying as letting your thoughts take you where they want. And there is no better place to do this than in a plush armchair, overlooking the ocean or a long walk alone.
I find there is no better time than before anyone has woken up. What is it about immersing oneself in nature that commands a sort of forced poetic narration? Would I have compared the sun to a shy but attention-hungry child had I been seated indoors?
Have you ever considered the abundance of matter around us? The wind and the birds and the soil and the trees and the sand and the stone that engulfs us. It’s hard to not fathom the earth’s vastness until you are no longer mining your memory to create a solution to the 1000 problems that race around in it.
Talke time to get lost in Time and find your Yourself

My guest today shares her journey of moving from Bitter to Better.
Suzan Nguyening is a Life Coach helping people overcome adversity, Speaker, and Author of ‘One Arm But Not Unarmed’.
Suzan experienced a life altering event after a traumatic car accident. In waking up from this near-death experience, she was introduced to her new self, with the loss of her right arm. While re-learning how to accomplish basic life tasks, she also experienced re-learning to live life. Emotionally, she ventured into a very dark place, one that left her hopeless, bitter and vulnerable.
Until one day- she decided to take her life experience and #bebetter instead of bitter.
With the help of those around her, Suzan coached herself out of that bitter place. She learned how to create joy from within and began helping others do the same. Her mission in life became clear- to help others turn adversities into advantages.
Suzan has completed coaching classes at Institute of Excellence in Professional Coaching and continues to stay educated about her passion- Positive Psychology. She has launched her own coaching practice by the name of BBnB Coaching. (be better, not bitter). Suzan is also certified in ‘Happiness’ and considers herself a Happiness Chief Encouragement Officer.
Suzan continues to spread her #bebetter message through her speaking engagements and by giving back to the community through volunteer efforts.

Several technology issues seem to have tried to get in the way but we pushed forward ..enjoy this two-part Fun Friend Friday
Sometimes things just keep rolling downhill and sometimes things just roll. Today we just rolled with all the odd little issues
There are times in our life when we completely lose hope and feel like we’re stranded on a road to nowhere. We’ve been drained and rejected and we’re withdrawn. And there’s no way around that.
So what do you do in times like these? Do you take a Leap Of Faith? Or you build a Bridge Of Faith?
At such times, the dilemma of taking chances or not really messes with us. To be wanting to just take a step forward in faith, even without knowing if there’s any fallback option or not. that is what separates the ordinary life from the life of success.
So how do we find that faith? Where do we place that faith?
In this case "IT" is everything in life. This entails the good, the bad, the sad, the disappointments and all situations in between. On top of this, what if you believed that all of these events "just happened" were placed in your path.
The idea that we somehow are not part of the effect of our actions is false.
Anything and everything we are experiencing right now is a direct result of our early thoughts and actions
We all want to live the best life we possibly can. Some of us feel tied down by our circumstances, and most of us have resigned to the fact that we’ll never be multimillionaires. But that doesn’t mean each of us as individuals can’t make the absolute most out of what we were given. Nothing will ever come to you if you only wish it to be true. If we want to live fulfilled lives, we have to know that we deserve it, then go earn it.
Nothing will just happen .. and if you want something food to happen focus on making it happen.
Mark 'Ski' Struczewski is known as Mister Productivity. I help teams and individuals conquer distractions. He is a speaker, coach, and podcaster and with an obsession to teach people how to get more done.

This is a replay of a live interview my guest, Barbara Leigh.
What does "I love you unconditionally" mean?
Today we are talking about the power of unconditional love with a twist
Tune in and get some ?? and give some ??
Post live notes:
This lesson on unconditional love was amazing as Barbara shared her journey from a very dark personal place to reaching towards hope and finding so many gifts of forgiveness and unconditional love along the way.
What is "unconditional love"?
Listen to how Barbara teaches it and you will see you are surrounded by love all the time.
"Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is you-er than you. Shout aloud, I am glad to be what I am. Thank goodness I'm not a ham, or a clam, or a dusty old jar of gooseberry jam. I am what I am, what a great thing to be. If I say so myself, happy everyday to me!"
? Dr. Seuss
Imagine that two books about you have just been published. The first raves about you and your work. It claims that you are a Divine gift. In it, you have been showered in praise, and encourages you to chase a dream and live in your success.
The second proclaims that you are a complete idiot and a blight upon this world. It insults you and dismisses your work as a waste of time. It encourages people to completely ignore you.
Which of those two books would get more of your energy and attention?
Imagination is a wonderful thing. I love dreaming of trips I’ll make or people I’ll meet. Most of us use imagination in one way or another every day. We imagine what our future might be.
As children we often spend time in imaginary worlds, dreaming that we are riding on spaceships or living in castles or showing off to our friends. Images flood our minds all the time and we get caught up in them.
We also can and often do imagine disasters and get caught up in those images. What will happen if I lose my keys? What will happen if the pipe bursts and everything gets wet? What will happen if I back the car up and hit a post?
The thing is we are in control of those imaginary worlds .. so what would happen "if ......"?
Join me today for a great FUN FRIEND FRIDAY with Photographer and Author Liz Acar. Liz's new book You Are Loved; An Inspired, Meditative Visual Journey has been described as a breath of fresh air, filled warm relaxing images take you to a place of peace and serenity.

So much shared about how to move forward after those big setbacks in life
Many of my clients have heard me say, “Hope is not a strategy!” Now, don’t get me wrong – I love a strong sense of hope. I find it awe-inspiring. But hope without work will only get you so far in the real world.
So how do we build a business based on passion and not fall into the Hope Only Trap?
Check out today's Success Life Live Facebook edition.
Today I share with you a few idea on why hope will not work long term when we are createing a chnage in your life ornad our businesses
“The first step toward greatness is to be honest.” Proverb
Humble Honesty Is the starting point of success
Honesty is not just about telling the truth. It’s about being real with yourself and others about who you are, what you want, and what you need to live your most authentic life. Honesty promotes openness, empowers us, and enables us to develop consistency in how we present the facts. Honesty sharpens our perception and allows us to observe everything around us with clarity.
The opposite of honesty is deception — or lying.
The worst type of lying we practice, in order to deceive, is when we lie to ourselves. We start messing around with our concept of morality, right and wrong, as well as our dreams and desires.
When we lie, we are trying to excuse or misrepresent my shortcomings or to compensate for something.
Success, for me, is not quantified in terms of dollars, sales, or the number of Facebook followers. Particularly not the latter! I value success in terms of character, self-awareness, honesty, emotional intelligence, and hard work. How we treat ourselves, others, and how we use our talents to improve the lives of others.
The Challange for today
Start today, first, by being as honest as you can with yourself. Be honest about your thoughts, words, actions, and wants. Then think about your interaction with society and your relationships. Are you letting people know your true self? If not, what are you afraid of?
My guest today, Tameka L Williamson created BLAZEUp Youth Leadership Program to equip youth with transferrable leadership skills that position them to be great and have a viable future.
Life is full of transitions and there are certain challenges that come with each transition.
If youth are not properly skilled and equipped the transition can be difficult. Think about the various transitions our youth go through. The transition from infancy to being a toddler; from Pre-K to Kindergarten; from Pre-Teen to Teenager; from the middle to high school; high school to college; and college to career.
Join me for this live call about developing tomorrows leaders and equipping them for success.
What has been the greatest disappointment in your life?
Depending on the circumstances this could be a difficult question to answer!
I have had many disappointments, like the majority of people, have, and I agree that we can learn from all the experiences we have got in life and that the accomplishments, as well as the disappointments, make us better and stronger able to deal with many distinctive situations.
When I was recently asked about this on a recent podcast discussing overcoming failure I had to pause for a moment and think. Not what you want on a radio show ..... silence. What came next is the answer that I say on today's Success Life live radio show. Enjoy.

His perspective on how we can REALLY create change in our schools and communities is honest and clear. Jake may be a soon to be 12-year old that loves hockey but he is also a leader and a voice for his peers. My advice listen once than listen again with kids in your life and let it be a conversation starter.
Success is an abstract concept, almost as difficult to define as it is to achieve. To make matters worse, in our world of ultra-connectedness and changing priorities, the traditional path of success is changing all the time.
Was it a successful year? What is a successful week or for that matter a successful day?
Do you feel as though you accomplished what you wanted at the end of each day?
Where did you fall short? And perhaps most importantly, how can you make tomorrow even more successful?
In order to build a life of success, we have to start out seeking success. Not success in the sense of that end of life big gold watch with a nice retirement package. Instead we have to look at each day as an opportunity to create Sucesss.

What makes you cry
What makes you laugh (joyfully)
Today we talk about What makes you dream
As part of building the foundation for Creating a lifestyle branded PROFITABLE Business
Success Life Lesson
It started as a conversation, turned into a debate, and somehow became a discussion about which one of you is absolutely right about everything and which one of you is a fool, discredited on every front.
How did this happen?
This “winner-takes-all, loser-still-pays” mindset is appearing everywhere
The pattern shows up in wars, elections, keeping up with the Joneses, gambling, investing, and even informal arguments. We invest, and then, having invested, are unwilling to let go. We’re willing to pay almost anything to keep from losing, but so will our competitors, which only increases both sides’ investment and unwillingness to surrender it all.
We have to learn to accept being wrong as a process of growth
Today Jill Ann Anderson Drops in for more of #JillWeek to share more ideas on how to build your lifestyle based business for success and profit. We talk about building the bridge between what makes us cry and what brings us joy and how our clients want someone to guide them over that bridge. What is your Mindset
What is your Message
What is your Marketing
Where are you in the story
Celebrate the small things BIG
When we don’t notice the small things and take the time to celebrate them, they get overshadowed by all of the negatives that your mind picks up. As humans, we are naturally pessimistic and doubtful. It is a lot easier to go through the motions every day than to take a leap of faith. You need to celebrate the small things because you need to stop being your own worst critic and start being your biggest fan. The mind is a powerful thing, and with yourself on your side, you can outsmart that little devil on your shoulder whispering doubt in your ear.
Does your organization have shared core values? No, not the stated values that may be written on a website, posted on walls, and recited to new hires. Well, maybe those, but only if the stated principles truly permeate the organization’s identity, define culture, shape leaders’ decisions, and guide day-to-day behavior for every organization member. Shared core values have long-lasting effects on the way people do work. Stated values, however, are often overlooked.
Shared core values are a powerful asset. They have a positive impact on people’s attitudes and behaviors.
Organizations may be your workplace or your family the little league or your golf buddies. THe fact is each of us needs to have a set of core value and a tribe that best reflects those values in order for us to behave in a way that allows us to succeed.
Jill Ann Anderson is the Director of Marketing at the John Maxwell Team and all this week she is dropping -in to teach us how to build a purpose/passion based business and lifestyle from our playbook.
Today she covered understanding
Mindset - Message and Marketing and then gave us the homework assignment of tapping into our passions with the question "What makes you cry?" "Why?"
To have a successful business we have to operate from our passion in order to connect to others.
Tune in and be ready to take notes
Does your current morning routine consist of hitting the snooze button four times and walking out the door five minutes later as you put on your shoes and eat a protein bar, all while checking email on your phone? From that point on, our entire day can feel like we're always trying to rush and catch up, never really feeling on top of our game or very productive. We can do better!
Many of us are busy, have a lot of responsibilities and obligations, and often feel strapped for time. Having a great morning routine can make all the difference in being productive, achieving goals, feeling organized, and doing all of this with confidence.
Creating a Heatly Morning Habits is not focused on who can accomplish the most or check off more boxes than everyone else, it is about allowing yourself to begin your day with confidence, peace, and a positive attitude.
Is it time to Ferris Bueller?
Pulling a Bueller is my term for;
Play hooky (verb): Skipping school, missing classes, taking an extended lunch, skipping out of work for the day/afternoon just to have fun.
Do things that do not feel like work. Eat ice cream. Or Rice Dream. Do headstands. Walk barefoot. Watch old movies. Read a book cover to cover. Don't answer the phone. Go hiking without a plan. Go visit a dog shelter, and walk the dogs. Watch the sunset. Drink a margarita. Or two. Get a pedicure. Go on a date. Write a poem. Do karaoke. Cook. Order take-out. Volunteer at the homeless shelter. Play with a frisbee. Sit under a tree. Get lost in a bookstore. Write a thank you note and a love letter. Whatever it is, do things that do not feel heavy. Do things that are not chores or work. Do not respond to work emails or stalk someone on Facebook or scrub the toilet… unless scrubbing the toilet brings you joy. If that is the case, please text me: I have plenty of joy to be had here at my house.
Thank you for joining me today for this podcast and brief guided mindfulness meditation to cultivate joy. Although it may not always feel like it, joy can be your choice rather than a condition of if something happens or if you get something, then you experience joy. For today, let go of the “I’ll be happy when…” mindset. See your joy as available to you just on the other side of a door, you simply need to open it and let joy into your heart.
Today, bring joy intentionally into your world and heart. Find ease in stressful or challenging times and spread joy to your loved ones and around the world. We hope you enjoy!
??I invite you to make yourself comfortable . . . Today here at Success Life Radio, you are an oasis where you can come to tap into your inner peace, positive mindset, and heal from the stress that’s blocking your fulfillment.
Relax and enJOY.
I apologize to all my friends for being missing in action this last week.
I needed to take some time off to deal with something that needed all my attention. I got so bogged down that everything else simply got sidelined. All my wonderful discipline streaks just came to a screeching halt. No Consistency Award for the last few weeks for me! And, I realize I'm going to have to start over to earn your trust and following.
Amazing how quickly things can fall apart. I do know, though, that I can, and will, start over.
What I know is that as you go bigger what got you to where you are is not going to hold up under the added stress of what comes next and you better have a plan in place before poop hits the fan.
Today I am sharing a bit of what happened and a lot of what I learned in the process. Enjoy.
And tune in next week - I be here PROMISE
What is mindfulness? Whether you are first hearing of mindfulness or have been wondering for a while exactly what it means, it is helpful to have a definition handy. It is even more helpful to have multiple definitions.
Here are a few definitions of mindfulness from various sources, including individuals and groups, in no particular order. Some of these might be more helpful than others, and you do not have to agree with all of them.
“Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.”
“Mindfulness is about observation without criticism; being compassionate with yourself.”
“Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally.”
As we examine the different definitions of mindfulness above, a few patterns stick out. The most obvious is that mindfulness has to do with paying attention. Most definitions underscore the importance of judgment in mindfulness – that is, that mindfulness involves nonjudgment.
Everything that you are today, and everything that you will ever accomplish, is determined by the quality of the habits that you form.
The term "results driven" is a great term. It speaks to a person's ability to create momentum based on their ultimate goal of getting things done. Arriving at a finish line takes a lot of effort, focus, and hard (or smart) work. But what is involved in defining oneself as being results driven?
Are you ready to learn how to become more results-oriented in your life and in your business?
Then tune in and let's get started getting results.
What comes to your mind when you hear the word ‘meeting’?
Chances are you’re thinking of profanity or something worse. Yes, the word ‘meeting’ has a bad rap. People are unmotivated before they even enter the meeting room… At the same time, well-managed meetings could do so much for you. If people were happy to attend your meetings, your team could do great things together.
But why is it that meetings are so unpopular? Today I want to talk about 5 main reasons meeting don't work – and what you can do to change people’s minds about them.
In the end, what I share with you today have a huge impact on how productive your meetings are. And that could save your countless hours of unproductive work.
When you honor time you are really honoring your dream.
So many of us suffer from the unrealistic, anxiety-based feeling that "there is never enough time." This feeling usually comes from living a distracted life — one that is constantly interrupted by something noisy and new. As a result of this lifestyle, we are often left feeling disjointed, incomplete and unsuccessful.
We spend so much time saying “we don’t have time” that you may wonder just how to make time for what matters. But the key is we ALL have the exact same amount of time – there are 24 hours in a day for you. for me. for everyone. So if there are things that are important to you that you aren’t finding time for, it’s time to figure out those roadblocks.
Today lets talk about some simple mindset thinking around creating time and living into a life of success.
Why do some people react so differently to the same message?
Why does one person see possibilities and the other only see problems?
Understanding the 5 decision-making process will help you learn how to connect and influence at a higher level and maybe know yourself just a little bit better.
After listen schedule time to talk and LISTEN to your spouse, your kids, your teammates your top clients and see if you can uncover their programming for decision making.
Knowing how people think and process information and how that guides their decision making process is the key to success

By creating an environment where teamwork is one of the top priorities, companies can retain valued employees, increase customer satisfaction, and exceed goals.
And most importantly, employees will feel like they’re part of something and be excited to come to work.
Often, the most important part of creating an effective team begins long before problems begin to crop up. Leaders should focus on hiring the right people for their organization, both in terms of management and team-member positions. And then invest in building that team, not in the sense of just number of people but the value of the team as a whole not jsut the parts.
The Six Human Needs
Why we do what we do.
Understanding what drives us and others.
How is it that one person will dive headlong into a burning building risking life and another will lay awake at night trying to figure out the deepest and darkest way of getting even with an office mate who took the last sprinkle donut?
What creates a villain or a superhero? What is the force or forces that drive human behaviors?
Today on Success Life Live radio with Host and Coach Eric G Reid we will unpack the 6 human needs we all have and how they shape our actions.
Frustration can kill a dream. It happens all the time. Something doesn't go as planned, we miss a day at the gym, we have a strong lead become someone else's client or spouse starts to lose faith in us. Frustration can change a positive attitude about a dream that had once been filled with passion to become a deflated balloon on the floor just waiting to be swept away.
Success requires that we learn how to use the frustration and rejection to power our dreams to fuel our hopes and keep us in the game longer than any of the competition.
Today I want to talk to you about how to get past the roadblocks and win.
What is a belief? How are our beliefs formed and how do our beliefs affect our success?
Your beliefs have the power to create and the power to destroy. Most of us have sent little or no time looking at our beliefs and separating our old worn out useless beliefs from our current story. Our Beliefs live in that space just below our awareness yet affect everything we do and dream.
Today I am going to share a few empowering beliefs you should try on and see how they fit, compared to those old worn out overused false beliefs you have been carrying around for so long
As high performers, goal seekers, big dreamers, we know that whatever we focus on, we will find a way to achieve. The challenge so many of us face, however, is in finding balance. I know you are going to say but Coach Eric you said balance is not an achievable goal. True and False. Full balance is impossible but balance over the course of a day or week or even a year is possible and should be the goal.
Even the most successful people acknowledge a gap between where they are and where they really want to be.
They may have strong business or careers and little or no intimate relationships or great physical fitness and week weak financial discipline.
To build an extraordinary life requires we strength all area of our life. That we are as mindful about our health as we are about our wealth.
To do that we need to understand the seven areas and the way they work together in a successful life.
What is a Breakthrough?
A breakthrough is that moment when everything changes. When what seemed impossible suddenly becomes possible. That moment you no longer settle for anything less that Success.
Breakthroughs are the reason we see some people succeed and others become stuck.
So can you create a breakthrough?
Why do I feel like I had a breakthrough only to end up back where I was before?
Join me today as we unpack the 3 critical elements of creating your next breakthrough.
Do you know what the one single factor is that shapes and controls your ultimate destiny? It is not your age, your race, your gender or what you did yesterday or ten years ago. No, it is the decisions you are making or not making right now.
Most people this that the past equals the future. The truth is it yesterdays impact on tomorrow is about the choices and decisions you are making today.
Over the years I have coached clients to focus on three core decision each day. 1) what are you focused on 2) what does it mean 3) what are you going to do?
If your ready to learn how to take control of your destiny then make a decision to hit play now.
As a coach, I met with people all the time who talk about wanting a transformed life and struggle to make it happen.
What is the common deniminator among leaders and those living a life of success? After coaching some very successful individuals and teams he is what I have learned. They use the emotions of hunger and drive to compel them to where they want to go. The swim upstream while others are floating downstream, they see the impossible as in the possible. Hunger and Drive allow them to take a by all means approach to life and goals.
Today lets talk about these 3 keys:
Standards
Beliefs
Strategy
If you are ready to start living your extraordinary life of success hit play and let's go.
Learning To Be Present is a skill we must all master in order to live our Lives of Success.
Study after study shows that when people try to do two or more things simultaneously (i.e. Multitask), they do neither at full capacity, in fact, they really only do each of the "two" tasks at 40% and overall IQ performance drops by 10 points.
The idea that you can give 100% to more than one task or event is false and in truth, it disconnects us from living our highest and best self.
Building a Life of Success is about being fully present with each event in our life. It is about giving 100% into the task at hand and the people we are with.
If your ready to learn how to become fully present and avoid the perils of distractions hit play and let's go.
Are you ready to set goals and achieve them? Are last years goals looking a little worn out?
Did you know 95% of people who set a New Year's resolutions never follow through with them?
The reason is most people don't understand the process of how to produce lasting results, and they never take the right first step.
Today on Success Life Live we are going to talk about not only goal setting but goals achieving so that you can move into the New Year with success.
You are meant to be the creator of your life. Anything you dream about, you can create.
But what does it take to start living that life of success? To get back to being the creator of your life? Today I want to share with you five ways you can do that for yourself. Five ways for you to start Living Your Life of Success.
You can do this, remind yourself that you're Creator gave you the power to seek life into your dreams and desires. That dream was not placed in you to frustrate you but to pull you into Your Life of Sucess.
So today let Live Your Life Of Success
There are two factors that motivate people to do what they do: the desire to avoid pain or the desire to gain pleasure. This principle is that causes the "yo-yo pattern" in some people; they go back and forth between taking action to create change and losing their drive to take any action at all.
If you want to create permanent and consistent change, the key is to develop a new set of patterns of how to get out of the pain and into the pleaser. We must use pain to motivate and pleasure to inspire us and keep the teeter toter in check .

Start with these 5 "disciplines" of love. They will help you create a relationship full of earth-shaking excitement, joy, and passion.
1) The Discipline of Unconditional Love & Compassion: ~ Always put your other first - it's not about you!
2) The Discipline of Absolute Courage & Vulnerability: ~ Love No Matter What and commit to absolute truth
3) The Discipline of Knowing the Truth ~ Here's the truth: It's a no-blame game
4) The Discipline of Telling Yourself the Truth ~ Commit to moment -to-moment awareness of your impact

What gifts, gestures or words strike a chord in your partner? How can you become even more proficient in loving and pleasing him or her?
Make every day a LOVE day.
We have all heard it "Whatever you can dream you can do". Yet so many of us get stuck in the dreaming and not the doing.
Bold people stand out from the group. They are confident, courageous, and directed. I believe there is boldness in most people. Given the right set of circumstances, many will take action to better the world around them.
People who choose to be bold are inspiring not just because they get big things accomplished, but because they also instigate growth, progress, and movement for themselves and others around them. Sadly, far more people wait for someone who is bold to lead the way, hoping somehow luck will shine success upon them.
Perhaps it's time to unleash the bold leader in you.
Boldness is a leadership trait to be mastered. Actions are what make bold people admirable.
What action are you ready to take.
What are you doing now? Is what you are doing going to take you to the next level? Having a strategy to break the grow - stuck - grow stuck - fail pattern is essential to learning to Live you Life Of Success.
The Checklist for Breaking Through Plateaus is as follows.
1) Identify a challenge you may be avoiding and face it head on
2) Mix up your practice methods to stress all parts of the skill
3) Attempt new challenges to identify weak parts of the skill
4) Develop tactical practice techniques to improve the weak parts of the skill
5) Repeat at the next plateau
As long as you follow the steps, you should have no issue moving to the next level.

That risk you take when you consider raising your ambitions
Become a millionaire not for the million dollars, but for what it will make of you to achieve it." -- Jim Rohn
Your life is a reflection of you. If you want to change your life, you have to change yourself. If you want to change the world, you have to be that change.

Productivity How Are You Measuring Up.
Eric G Reid
We often talk about improving productivity in personal growth and business development, but what does that mean? How do you measure productivity? And is that something you should even be doing?
Calculating productivity is as simple as making a quick calculation of output divided by input. But is it the right thing to measure? Does it give you an accurate picture of performance?
We have to understand that we have seasons of productivity and have to realize that not all productivity looks the same.
Productivity will look very different when you are in a time of growth vs. transition vs. recovery.
And not all areas of our life will be "performing" at the same level of production. Our business successes may look very different than our fitness or finical success.
Check out www.ericgreid.com/blog later today to read Productivity How Are You Measuring Up.
Our live interview with Greg Storch
Time for Fun Friend Friday with special guest Greg Storch
Today on Fun Friend Friday with Greg Storch we talked about things like the problem with social media is we see everyone else's highlight reel while we compare it to our behind the scenes Goal setting and achieving the dream of living as an expat in Italy. Loved the idea Greg shared in AIM SMART (Acceptable, Ideal, and Middle/specific, measurable, achievable, results-focused, and time-bound) goal setting. Greg's leadership word was DESIRE. Man did Greg bring wisdom on that topic.
Fun Friend Friday recorded live with Daniel Gomez
With Daniel Gomez. Author of You Were Born To Fly
Daniel Gomez is an inspiring individual, motivating speaker, and compassionate coach and trainer. He is the author of the #1 bestseller You Were Born to Fly. We talk about his book and the impact others have made on his life and the lessons he learned from each. As a sales trainer Daniel Gomez drops a "few" sales nuggets.
Daniels leadership word was - Curiosity - I have to say up until now I never thought of curiosity the way Daniel taught it.
It's been said, The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.”
Well, I had to take time off to live life and get somethings done and figured out and podcasting was not on the top of the to-do list.
Don't get me wrong I did not come to a full stop in my business. Quite the opposite, used the last few months to make major shifts and knew that when the time was right I would be back to podcasting.
So this podcast talks a little about all that and more about what Success Life is. I open the lid, so to speak, on what Success Life Radio was, is and will be.

There are 4 common roles people play when in an argument. Understanding these roles and why they happen will help you gain clarity about self and others. But more importantly, it will help you shift out of old patterns that aren't really working and into behaviors that will open the lines of communication and connections.
If you're ready to shift the status quo and stop arguing and start communicating then this show is for you.
When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.
– Marcus Aurelius
It takes time to design a morning routine that fits your life, but once you get something down that works for you the value of it is tangible.
But the only way to get there is to experiment. You likely have an idea of what will work best for you, though, so start there and work elsewhere to design something optimized for your life.
To help get you started, here are five of the most powerful (and universal) morning rituals I’ve encountered in my time rising early.
I like to start with connecting with Self then Divine then Creative then Thought and final the world.
Who doesn't want to get stronger and fitter? What if you could build you mental fitness?
Developing mental strength takes a conscious effort, dedication and daily practice. Start with these 10 exercises to work out your mental muscles.
Psychology often discusses mental health -- but what's not often discussed is a clear definition of mental strength. To me, mental strength means that you regulate your emotions, manage your thoughts, and behave in a positive manner, despite your circumstances
Ready to start building your mental strength?
We all have rules we live by. Some of them are inherent, such as smiling when walking past a stranger or shaking someone’s hand when introducing yourself. But others we have to develop over time until they become a habit.
My mom was the goddess of rules. Seems she had a rule for everything little did I know how much overtime those rules would guide my action and my beliefs.
As adults we have the right to make our own rules so today I challenge you to adopt a few rules to help you stay motivated.
Self-discipline is not “doing what you don’t want to do when you don’t want to do it.” Self-discipline is the art, science and skill of interpreting and managing one’s own emotions to help them achieve their goals in life.
Generally, people think, “Self-discipline is doing what you don’t want to do when you don’t want to do it.” In other words, we think of self-discipline as a form of punishment. But it’s not.
There are 4 primary misconceptions that people have that cause them to think of self-discipline with such a negative connotation.
It’s mid-December...how are you holding up?
We all look forward to the holiday season, with its festive atmosphere and family gatherings, but the truth is that this time of year also comes with its fair share of stress. Between the shopping lines and shipping lines, the travel planning and event planning, and the self-imposed pressure to try to fulfill everyone’s dearest holiday expectations, by this point in the month, you may find yourself untangling a string of lights with a noticeable lack of holiday spirit.
We, as humans, are busier now than we've ever been in the 6000 years of recorded history.
Yes, sure, we all love technology. And with all of its rapid advancement, you'd think that it should have made life easier for us.
But let's face it…
What it has really done is made everyone flat out busier. With text messages and e-mails buzzing in our pockets, our constant availability for phone calls, and shiny new apps and social media on our phones, we've become more distracted, more unfocused, more overwhelmed, stressed and anxious than ever before.
As if that wasn't enough, we also have a problem with too many choices, too many options, and despite our "best efforts," we find ourselves not following through on any of them.
So what do we do about this?
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.” Sobering words from Aristotle, and an astute reminder that success doesn’t come overnight. On the contrary, it’s discipline that gets you from Point A to the often elusive Point B.
To alleviate some of those troubles we can examine some academic research on motivation, discipline, and habit building, and break down their findings into actionable steps that any aspiring habit-builder can put into place.
Over the course of my life, I’ve come to believe that the best decision maker is your gut/natural instinct. How many times have you disregarded your gut instinct on a decision, only to regret it later? I’ve done this more times than I care to admit. For many years now, I’ve been obsessed with finding a way to make gut decisions at will. I believe I’ve found a way to do it with the Act Now Or Die test
I know it sounds extreme but when we fail to act our dreams can die a slow painful over processed death.

Have you ever set out with the goal of actually sticking to a new behavior … only to find yourself not doing it at all one week later?
Why is so hard to form good habits? Why is it so difficult to make consistent change? How can we have the best intentions to become better, and yet still see so little progress?
And most importantly, is there anything we can do about it?
The ansewer is YES
The most common fears that we experience, which often sabotage all hope for success, are the fear of failure, poverty, and loss of money.
These fears cause people to avoid risk of any kind and to reject opportunity when it is presented to them. They are so afraid of failure that they are almost paralyzed when it comes to taking any chances at all.
Learn how to overcome these fears and build a Life of Success.
We all have dreams.
And while some may seem more attainable than others, we all have them. We want to travel the world. We want to get into the perfect college. We want to run our own company. We want to fall in love. We want to save the world. We want to be promoted. We want to run a marathon. We want a lot of things.
So if we all have big, wild dreams, why are so few people actively working towards those dreams?
On this episode of Success Coaching Radio we will example the top 9 reasons people dont chase a dream
How do you communicate? People thrive on communication; introverted, extroverted, verbal and non verbal, we all need to be able to communicate with one another in order to survive and succeed. Though sometimes, things get lost in translation. Your intent, the way in which you are communicating, doesn’t necessarily send the messages and signals that help to achieve your desired goals, the impact. Intent vs. impact is not uncommon in human interaction. People can hear things via their own filters, and messages can become misunderstood.
“The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.” – George Bernard Shaw
“To effectively communicate, we must realize that we are all different in the way we perceive the world and use this understanding as a guide to our communication with others.” -Tony Robbins
We hear these phrases often: Step Into Your Power, Own Your Worth. But what do they really mean, and how do you do it?
To be in your power is not to be forceful, manipulative, or aggressive.
To be in your power is to be in alignment. To be in your power is to trust that you are in the right place at the right time.
To be in your power is to claim your joy, deliver your gifts, and own your part in the life of SUCCESS you create.
Today you will begin to know your power and own your worth. And when that happens, there is no stopping you!

Yes you do know.
One of the most common excuses I hear, is “I want to do something, but I don’t have any ideas.”
I promise that you have way more ideas than you think. Today on Success Coaching Radio I will outline a simple exercise to help get you started and clear away some of the clutter that is blocking you from seeing your "next great opportunity"
You have the perfect business, you just don't know it yet.
Simply put, passion is the engine that drives excellence. It is what motivates us to continue pursuing our dreams when times get tough, when we get tired, or when others tell us we can’t possibly succeed. And when passion and performance meet, we experience our greatest satisfaction and impact in life.
A little bit about how I came to be here, now in this moment. To be able to live life with passion we have to become ready to change. Sometimes change happens to us sometimes we control the change. In the end to start living the life we want we ahve to be willing to step out of the life we currently have.
Imagine yourself at age 80: What will you look back on with pride? What will you wish you had accomplished? Did you follow your dreams? Your passions?
Some say not to mix passion and business, but I respectfully disagree. Money can take you only so far, but integrating your passion with your business provides sustainable motivation and the grit to weather the inevitable ups and downs of entrepreneurial endeavors. You get to live what you love and be of service to others along the way so why would you not try and find a way to turn your passion into a profitable business.
Wish Vs. Dream
Short answer: A wish is a fleeting, momentary desire usually based on what we see externally. A dream is our soul's desire spoken to us through our subconscious. Also, a wish, just like candles on a birthday cake, can be blown away. A dream is like that trick B-day candle: it can't!!
Everyone has goals, but some people seem to be more successful than others in achieving them. That’s because people who accomplish goals at a higher rate are those who have developed a personal action plan.
Whether it's sending out an email newsletter, putting together a presentation, or working on a special request for a client, many of us have to complete simple projects as part of our day-to-day responsibilities.
These small- to medium-sized projects may, at first glance, not seem to need much thought. But, occasionally, we can overlook a key step or "to do" item that can derail all our efforts.
Action Plans are useful because they give you a framework for thinking about how you'll complete a project efficiently. They help you finish activities in a sensible order, and they help you ensure that you don't miss any key steps. Also, because you can see each task laid out, you can quickly decide which tasks you'll delegate or outsource, and which tasks you may be able to ignore.
In this Success Coaching LIve, I'll share my best strategic planning skills so that you can create your own action plan.
We all start out with a dream, and then what. To be successful in business does not always require we reinvent the wheel. On today's Success Coaching Live I will show you few simple habits that you can start right now to shift your frustration into successes.Personal experience and coaching, have taught me that it is up to you to carefully examine your strengths and dedicate yourself to the path of Entrepreneurship is will not be easy but it will be rewarding,
As a leader, you might think you should have everything figured out already, but this simply isn't true. While all of us have our own talents, leadership skills are often something we have to learn along the way.
n the seventeenth century, the French statesman Cardinal Richelieu relied heavily on the advice of Father François Leclerc du Tremblay, known as France’s éminence grise for his gray monk’s habit. Like the famous cardinal, today’s business leaders have their gray eminences. But these advisers aren’t monks bound by a vow of poverty. They’re usually called coaches.
Ready to figure out what a coach is ?
Gremlins are just another form of Inner Critic. They’re not something we’re born with, but something we get infected with over time. And what we’re going to do today is look at techniques to help you banish your gremlins so that they no longer have the power to prevent you from doing what you most need to do in order to make your dreams a reality.
Gremlins are those spiteful little voices inside of us that make us second-guess our every move and it's time we banish them.
We must overcome the notion that we must be regular; it robs us of the chance to be extraordinary.
– Uta Hagen

It has been said that you become the average of the five people you spend the most time with. Think about the impact of those five people over a five-year period. What kind of influence will they have had in your life over that time period?
Maybe it's time to ask who stays and who goes.
Forgiveness is often described as a gift you give yourself. Research shows that bearing a grudge is likely to lead to a shorter, unhappier life because of raised blood pressure, increased stress, lower immunity, and a higher risk of heart disease. If you can let go of anger, the gift of health and wellbeing is yours to enjoy, just like the benefits of giving up smoking or junk food.
Join me on Success Coaching Radio to share a few ideas on how to let go and move on. learning how to forgive and get forgiveness is a skill you can learn.

The message intended is not necessarily the message received.
Communication (from Latin communicare, meaning "to share") is the act of conveying intended meanings from one entity or group to another through the use of mutually understood signs and semiotic rules. If you want to be an effective communicator, these three practices will separate you from the vast majority of less-than-effective communicators out there in the business world.
Communication is simply the act of transferring information from one place to another.
Although this is a simple definition, when we think about how we may communicate the subject becomes a lot more complex. There are various categories of communication and more than one may occur at any time.
Equipping is an ongoing process of leading, teaching & process of leading, teaching and accessing potential leaders. Equippers ask questions about the organization, themselves and the potential leader.
One of the great responsibilities – and privileges – of being a leader is to develop the people around you, to help those that have the potential to become leaders themselves.
A leader simply has to be committed to equipping others. Why?
It is the only way to keep growing. Those closest to me are going to determine the level of my success. It is lasting. There is no success without a successor.
Equipping others is hard work, and it never stops. And it can be discouraging, because people are bound to fail and disappoint you. You need commitment to see you through.
The things we repeatedly do become our habits. What are some of your habits? Are they good or bad? Are they detrimental to your health? It doesn’t matter if you’re kicking a bad habit or starting a new one, it isn’t easy.
Good habits are formed daily. Truth be told, good habits require consistent commitment. Taking a minute each day to look at our habits can change our lives.
If we don’t learn good habits, life becomes more difficult. We have a choice: Get hard on ourselves so life becomes easier, or get easy on ourselves resulting in life getting harder.
Successful people choose good habits over a stagnant life. At first, it might not seem like you are accomplishing much, but don’t be fooled. “Small hinges open big doors.”
Not all good habits are created equal. Some are more powerful than others. Here are four powerful habits that will strengthen your confidence, help you get what you want and result in a satisfying journey.
Mentally strong people seek strength and fortitude by building themselves up every day.
One of the determinants for success and leadership is mental strength. To be a peak performer and attain excellence in any field, you need desire, effort and discipline. This goes beyond acting tough; you have to be willing to work hard and persist even in the face of struggles.
Mentally strong people are willing to seek strength and fortitude by building themselves up every day. On this Success Coaching Radio I will share eight daily habits that can help you build your mental strength
The Seven Universal Laws Explained
There are seven Universal Laws or Principles by which everything in the Universe is governed. The Universe exists in perfect harmony by virtue of these Laws. Ancient mystical, esoteric and secret teachings dating back over 5,000 years from Ancient Egypt to Ancient Greece and to the Vedic tradition of Ancient India, all have as their common thread these seven Spiritual Laws of the Universe. Once you understand, apply and align yourself with these Universal Laws, you will experience transformation in every area of your life beyond that which you have ever dared to imagine.
I am just starting to learn a few things about these Universal Laws.
Working from home with kids isn’t for everyone, and it might not be possible for you or your situation.
Certain roles might lend themselves to more flexible hours and as children go through different stages, work styles might have to adapt as well.
About 21 percent of employed adults did some or all of their job at home, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. And that number is growing fast.
In my pre-kid life, I never imagined that someday I'd be a stay-at-home dad.
I didn't go to grad school to spend my days changing diapers or managing summer schedules yet here I am and loving it.
I have tons of friends with similar experiences.
This summer we all have something in common, a deep desire to be there for every moment of kids lives and build success business.
The question is. How?
On this Success Coaching Radio episode we will explore a few ways to manage the stress of summer and still build that empire you are working on.
FYI these tips also work if you kidless and just need to get the job done while working at your kitchen table
If you work from home and your kids are out of school for the summer, you probably have mixed feelings right now. You love being around your children – one of the perks of working from home is close proximity to the family – but you probably also love the office-like silence you were accustomed to throughout the school year.
Working while parenting is an issue more people will begin to encounter as the summers go by. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, by 2020, about 65 million Americans will be freelancers, temps, independent contractors and solopreneurs, making up about 40 percent of the workforce, and that doesn't include salaried employees who work out of their homes.
Trust me I get it I been there did that (not well at first) and am still doing. Hint it takes realy focus on getting it done right want to learn how? Join me on Success Coaching Radio.

“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan Press On! has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.” — Calvin Coolidge
Beating yourself up over a short-term setback will only keep you stuck. Instead, forgive yourself, and use these five tips to start fresh today.? Let focus on how to get back in the game and winning.
When you're in a Slump, you're not in for much fun.
Un-slumping yourself is not easily done.
-- Dr. Seuss
You see, I've been through many slumps in my life. Slumps that felt like they were going to last forever. Slumps that I thought I was never going to be able to get out of.
But I always did.
These 13 1/2 simple techniques can help you become more positive and motivated, and break you out of any slump.
If constant stress has you feeling helpless, disillusioned, and completely exhausted, you may be suffering from burnout. When you’re burned out, problems seem insurmountable, everything looks bleak, and it’s difficult to muster up the energy to care—let alone do something about your situation.
The unhappiness and detachment that burnout causes can threaten your job, your relationships, and your health. But burnout can be overcome. There are plenty of things you can do to regain your balance and start to feel positive and hopeful again.
It is said the two greatest days of your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out what your purpose
Ok we got the being born thing done now what about the purpose part. And more importantly Why do I need a purpose. If you don’t know what your purpose is than you don’t know why you are here, and it can be hard to keep going.
FYI Success is not your purpose Living With Success is a Purpose
“People need clear objectives set before them if they are to achieve anything of value.”
John C. Maxwell
As a leader are you developing the leaders around you and equipping them to reach their full potential?
Developing leadership qualities in yourself develops it others. To ensure success in today”s competitive world the one asset that truly appreciates within any organization and it's people is excellence. People can grow, develop, and become more effective if they have a leader who understands their potential value for excellence.
This principle applies in all teams or companies, it really applies in any situation where two or more are working towards a common goal. If you fail to equip those around you to become self-leaders you will spend 80% of your time stuck in the little things that do little or nothing to take your dream from average to extraordinary.
Ready to learn how to build excellence in yourself and your team?
Who was the best leader you ever had?
What made that person a great leader for you?
My guess is you if you are like most people, you did not name the smartest person you know or the person with the best corner office. You may respect those people, but my guess is you probably named a leader who inspired you or who touched you emotionally.
Their emotions and vision link up with you somehow that fueled efforts and accomplishments of which you are now proud. Their leadership and its impact are a direct result of influence.
If you are a leader (truth we all are) then you know that the more influence you have the faster things get done and the higher the results are.
Are you ready to start to raise your leadership lid?
Creating a successful success plan involves four basic phases: assessment, commitment, feedback, and follow-through. On this radio show I will help you establish a personalized strategy that offers you both immediate motivation and lasting support for your goals.
The key to having a happy, satisfied and fulfilled life, a "success life" is to accomplish the things that are most important to you, and this is much easier to do if you have a personal success plan to guide your career and life.
Understand that there are layers to the plan, daily, weekly and monthly and long range. You have got to start somewhere and start getting that plan out of your head and down on paper and this show will guide you to how to do that.
We live in a world filled by constant distractions. There are unlimited activities floating around us at all times that can take our attention, and often the ones that scream the loudest win. A simple way to improve your life is to discover your personal why.
Most people live their lives by focusing on what they have to do. The endless tasks continue to mount up, and we wonder why we never feel like we’re getting ahead. It feels like we’re sprinting on a treadmill just trying to keep up, and every task completed is quickly replaced by new ones.
Life gets a lot simpler when you know your "Why"
Other's talk about is few do it, Are you finally ready to start living your dreams?
So why is this time different? This time is different because you’ve caught on to the fact that there’s really nothing behind you. It’s all nonsense. At this point, going back would be more painful than the unknown before you—no matter what that might be.
You have reached the point that not living your dream is hard than the idea of taking a step towards you dream no matter how impossible it feels. You know it has to happen and you willing to play full out. What will change once you make that commitment to move someday to today?

Everything!
I have worked in a factory,
I have sold men's suits,
picked tomatoes as a field worker,
I have also running restaurants and hotels,
managed IT teams for a large international company.
You could say I have done it all, or at least tried most of it all.
As time went by, it became harder and harder find that next level challenge that would drive my passion.
I don't consider it "job hopping" as much as pathfinding.
As I grew and progressed, I learned three valuable lessons that I want to share with you today.
Failure is something nearly all human beings are afraid of. Nobody wants to experience the disappointment, pain or shame that comes with failure. But what most people don’t understand is that the fear of failure is actually much worse than failure itself. In fact, the fear of failure has prevented countless people from taking what would otherwise be positive steps in their lives. It prevents people from getting to where they should be.
The first step to success is conquering the fear of failure. Once you conquer the fear of failure, there can be no limit to your successes.
Are you ready to kick the failure gremlin in the teeth and start living life with success? Then join me for Success Coaching Radio.
Everyone should want to achieve their dreams. In fact, you probably have plenty of dreams inside your head. Some you’ve begun to pursue, while others are taking time to germinate in your mind. Still others you’re not pursuing because you’ve told yourself a lie that’s stopping you.
Perhaps you’ev told yourself you’re not smart enough, rich enough, connected enough, pretty enough, or “enough” in any other way that matters.
What kind of environment are you in? Is it help you grow or holding you back?
Are you a leader? If so, you can make your organization into a growth environment. Use this list to check your progress.
Are you a team member? If so, you may not have much input into your environment. Use this list to see what kind of environment you might want to be in. If you’re in a bad environment, it may be time to move. If you are not able to move as easily as I did, here’s some good news: you can grow in a non-growth environment. It’s just harder.
Are you a parent? This list reflects how I want my home environment to look like for my kids to growing up in. Use this list to create a growth environment in your home. You’ll give your children a gift that they’ll use the rest of their lives, as I have.
We may have beliefs about rights, duties, abilities, permissions and so on. Limiting beliefs are often about our- selves and our self-identity. The beliefs may also be about other people and the world in general.
In any case, they sadly limit us.
Limiting beliefs are those which constrain us in some way. Just by believing them, we do not think, do or say the things that they inhibit. And in doing so we impoverish our lives.
We may have beliefs about rights, duties, abilities, permissions and so on. Limiting beliefs are often about our- selves and our self-identity. The beliefs may also be about other people and the world in general.
In any case, they sadly limit us.
So lets get past them an on to our success.
When it comes to success, here’s the bottom line: if you don’t have a “why ” you’re not going to have the ability or desire to chase anything.
One of the biggest things I teach and coach clients on is that for you to succeed, you need to have a purpose, a reason
For you to have a lot of money, you need to have a purpose for having a lot of money.

If productivity is a measure of output over time. And all other things being equal, the more you produce per minute, the more productive you are. And economists understand that wealth (for a company or a community) is based on increasing productivity in a fixed unit called time.
How ready are you to start kicking productivity into gear without losing that holiday vacation glow.
Time management is one skill universal to all disciplines of business and life. This skill will decay without constant refreshers and careful review of process and systems. I know we all have huge goals to get organized, but much like our New Year’s resolution of going to Gold’s Gym, the parking lot is full in January, but by May it is mostly empty again. Why?

Time is like money. How or what you spend is a direct reflection on what you value. When you decide to spend an hour watching TV, you have spent that unit of time, based on what is valuable or has the highest ROI right now for that unit of time to you. You started the day with the same number of units in your time bank. Be it in munites or hours you had the same number as everyone else So when you get to the end of the day and have that feeling of exhaustion with nothing to show for it. Look around you have been a victim of "time robbers".
Today I will point out the top 5 external and internal time robbers and how to take control of them

Sir Isaac Newton said that time "was an absolute that it occurred whether the universe was here or not."
Maybe the best definition of time that I have learned, as it relates to business, is offered by Leibnitz "Time is merely the order of events, not an entity itself" The idea of time not existing outside events seems to help explain why some days fly past in a minute and minutes can seem to drag out for days. How often have you said that was a "good time" or I had a good time. Time is time it is the events that are impacting our perception of time as good or bad.
To gain control over time, you have to gain control over events.
Are you ready to control of time ? Then this show will help you get a sense of control back
