I am an IT tech guy who is also an IT Manager at my current place of employment. I have a YouTube tech channel where I make easy and simple-to-understand tech videos for the not-so-techy people out there, called Chard The Tech Guy. Now I'm branching off into the world of podcasts to provide deeper info on a particular topic or various topics, that's still based on technology.
If you have loved someone and then you lost that someone based on a decision that was made basically out of anger, but now you had time to cool down, you realize you want it back. You would like to try again, but would the other party want to try again? How would you approach it?

The Cloud in the tech world is all about storing data for some people, but the cloud is used for much more. We are interacting with the Cloud on a daily basis, whether you know it, your bank information, movies, music, pictures, emails, and everything else you do online that involve some form of your data, is in one of those Clouds.
The best thing about the Cloud is that it can store irreplaceable data you own for safekeeping, storing your data only locally can cause you to lose it forever.

Why don't we have a universal video chat system, just like we have a universal call and texting system? We can easily pick up the phone and call some without worry about what kind of phone or service they have, the same can be done with texting.
Video chat is another way of communication but you can not do it as easily as the other systems, because there is not a system in place like the others to make it just as easy to do. Video chat requires users to have a certain phone and app to communicate, it's not cross-platform like voice calls and texting.
Will, we ever have that system in place sometime in the future, who knows, but it would make like easier.

Texting is probably the most popular way of communicating for most people, unfortunately, people are still doing it at the most inappropriate time, mainly texting & driving, I believe the technology is there to prevent the users to not text while driving. Most in-car GPS won't let you enter addresses while driving and force you to stop to enter the address. Well, disable the keyboard on the phone so people can't text and drive, we'll all would benefit from it.

The Millennium has changed how they earn money, they're willing and light the lifestyle of the previous generation. They are not planning on doing any hard labor like building bridges, building skyscrapers, paving roads, no, instead they building digital platforms to earn them 6 figures, 7 figures, and even 12 figures.

The smartphone market is reaching a pinnacle in my eyes, they are not going anywhere but the recent departure of LG out of the smartphone industry could be a sign that more could follow the same path as innovation in the smartphone industry run out of ideas. The foldable screen idea had a rocky start and is too expensive for the average consumer.
Users are holding on to their phones much longer instead of upgrading every year when a new smartphone is released to the public. The biggest selling point that's been promoted by the creators of the latest smartphones is a better screen and better camera. But it comes to a point when that's not enough to get buyers to let go of their cash.

The human element is been eliminated in more ways than one. It happening all around in different ways. The self-checkout machine at the grocery, the self-check-in machine in the airports, and now Marriott is removing the front desk check-in and replace them with check-in kiosk and vending machine to give you plenty of food & beverage. The question is, can your job potentially be eliminated by technology & remove the human element?

People are addicted to the digital drug, I'm talking about your handheld devices mainly the smartphone. When you take it everywhere you go, even in the shower - addicted! When you are constantly checking to see if you have a message, even when the phone doesn't make a notification sound - addicted! When you can't put it down to drive safely and not put other driver's life in danger - addicted!

Here is my story of how I end up becoming an IT guy, the characteristics you should possess if you want to go take up this career. Troubleshooting skills & patience are a big plus, there are days where you can have burnout and ready to quit. But you just have to pace yourself and focus on the most important things for that day and save the rest for tomorrow. I will give you my personal advice for anyone pursuing an IT career.
