GoT SPOILERS Recap Predictions S8 E4-6 Not a PG show; Not a PG podcast The character I'd Daenarys became a plot device to carry the Starks through to their new beginnings. I don't discuss this in the Podcast, but there is hope for a future for everyone to return. Drogon may have returned Daenarys to Essos where the Red Priestesses could resurrect her.

some SPOILERS ...some SALTINESS. [OMO Episode 2 was great] Not a PG show; Not a PG podcast. Game of Thrones S8 E5&6 I'm flabbergasted that theories and predictions from fans were 3000x better than much of S8. Character arcs, magical creatures, plot buildup all fizzazled in the face of fan service and meek choices. I'm still a huge fan of the series. Things felt rushed, convoluted and contrived. There might have been enough material for a few more seasons. Battle of the Bastards might go down as the #1 episode which means in hindsight Ramsay was a bigger bad than Cersei, Euron, Daenarys and the Night King?!! I don't think so. They all could have had a season to piss protagonists off. Rule #1: Never kill off dragons in a dragon show. NOTE: I put as much effort in the script for this episode as the writers of episode 4.

SPOILERS Can we take a moment to appreciate that along with the superb music there was the added sound effect when Catspaw falls that sounds like the blade is vibrating in the NK's cold air.
SPOILERS Winter falls by No One's hand. The Night King shattered by No One's dragonglass shard. No One seems to have prepared for this moment. The Night King's unnatural Blue Eyes saw No One as he, and his entourage, burst into a bajillion ice cubes. Cheers! Just Kidding. MVP ARYA AZOR AHAI, the prince who was promised! And THEON with the BADASS assist! Plus Everyone else.
Forgot to mention that little bear, Lyanna Mormont, dies taking out a giant. Also there are some major Hardhome / WWZ type swarms of death-dealing zombie hordes. And Tyrion drinks and kisses Sansa's hand. 9.5/10 Direwolf growl (ers) for one of the best episodes by virtue of the dragon fights and the Weirwood fights.
Imagine a lion, a wolf, a stag and a dragon playing together ...and the sound of hammers rebuilding Winterfell with old Sansa & Arya & Bran looking on
