Golden Goal is a program on Radio Adelaide 101.5FM in South Australia every Sunday at 1pm CDT. Covering all the latest footballing action from England, Spain, Italy, Germany, France and Australia, it's your one stop shop for all things football.
Michael and Mateo were the 2 Musketeers on this kind-of-special Easter Sunday broadcast of Golden Goal. Given Luke's understandable, probably food-related absence, the remaining stalwarts discussed Stoke City's sensational FA Cup hammering of Bolton, the unending comedy at Arsenal as they throw away 4 more points, the second game of the Clasico World Series, and doff our respective caps to the magnificent Lionel Messi - who against Osasuna scored his 50th goal of the season. Wow. To cap off the frankly barmy week, even Fernando Torres scored for Chelsea!
For those interested in the Champions League semi-final 1st legs, don't forget it's Schalke vs Manchester United on Wednesday morning from 4:15am, and Real Madrid vs Barcelona the following morning.
So, there were a couple of early Euro 2012 qualifiers and Adelaide United signed Bruce Djite. How can we talk about that for an hour? Well, we were going to bring you an in-depth Premier League Relegation preview, and talk about the FIFA Presidency debate. BUT, our plans got shaken up when the one and only Marcos Flores walked into the studio!

Just Luke and Mateo this week as Michael is too good for the program, instead choosing to spend his time up at the river. But there is no shortage of things for our stalwarts to discuss, as they (comprehensively) preview the A-League grand final (by now a few days old), congratulate Marcos Flores on winning the Johnny Warren Medal for the A-League's best player (and discuss the chances of him leaving) and mull over Arsenal's season crumbling in front of their eyes. Oh, and Robbie Cornthwaite going to Korea.
