Fluent in Arabic, Professor Heck is a Fulbright Fellow currently teaching in Tetouan, Morocco for the 2018-19 academic year.

Sa'id Naqchi organizes the "Language through Companionship; Companionship Through Language" program in Sale, Morocco.
