Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The panic over the coronavirus is devastating our economy. In fact, the panic is doing more damage than the virus. With the world turned upside down, we must keep our eyes fixed on the author and perfecter of our faith, and choose to believe that he will see us through. If we hold fast to God, we have this promise from Proverbs 3: “If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Do not be afraid of sudden terror, for the Lord will be your confidence.” Remember that Peter was able to walk on troubled waters as long as he kept his eyes fixed on Jesus. It was only when he began looking at the waves that he began to sink. Let’s trust in the Lord with all our heart and believe that he will lead us safely through this time of danger. God and not government is our source of confidence.
