Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast episode 126!

Blessed with a loving, happy marriage to my best friend Sean of twenty years and a proud mother of four. My story unfolds from the heart, born out of the seismic loss of my husband, Sean, who was killed in a tragic car accident in 2011. His death and loss plunged me into the abyss of profound grief and sorrow. The ensuing challenges seemed relentless as we lost our home, business and filed for bankruptcy. Amid grief's roller coaster, I hit rock bottom, feeling shattered and overwhelmed. Then, at a pivotal moment in October 2013, during what seemed like a routine surgical procedure, I transcended the confines of the physical world. This extraordinary experience took me to the gates of heaven, where I reunited with my departed loved ones—immersed in boundless love and pure bliss. I received divine messages, wisdom, and insights that forever altered the course of my life—providing me hope when it seemed hopeless. Lessons learned, from sorrow to my transformative encounter with the afterlife. In my new book "A Date with Destiny". A true story and an intimate exploration that challenges conventional beliefs about life and death. Through my lens, I invite you to reevaluate the essence of our existence, offering peace, solace, clarity, and a transformative understanding of death as a powerful catalyst. Unlock the promises of heaven and dimensions beyond earthly comprehension.Explore the intricate tapestry of life and death, challenging the idea that death is the final chapter. Instead, it's a potent transition—a metamorphic journey. How to move forward courageously, a transformative journey of self-discovery, overcoming fears, and radical self-love. It is a testament to the indomitable human spirit, exploring life's profound question: "What happens when we die?" Through my experiences, I offer hope and challenge you to open your mind about what these experiences can teach us. Rather than fearing death, it becomes a poignant reminder to live fully and embrace the richness of life.I navigated a path from pain to healing, shedding anger and frustration. Hope, happiness, laughter, and joy became my guiding light in transformation. I'm an Amazon Best-Selling Author, recipient of the Book Excellence Award, and 2022 Bronze medal winner for the Grief Guidebook. Join me as we navigate life's twists and turns together, finding courage, resilience, and joy while embracing the winding way forward.

Episode NotesAs a stay-at-home mother, Lyndsie Jones never thought she would be a parent to twelve children. Born and raised in Provo, Utah, her parents divorced when she was four years old and lived with her mother and 3 older siblings. Her maternal grandparents took care of her most of her formative years and gave her a beautiful childhood amongst the challenges. Due to her mother’s mental illness, she moved into a relative’s home at the age of thirteen where she had consistent, healthy, loving parental figures through her teenage years. After high school she started college with a focus in psychology, however, plans changed when she met and married her first husband and shortly thereafter gave birth to their first son. Through the years the marriage was increasingly turbulent, and the number of children grew to six as the marriage ended in divorce. While single-parenting six children, she started an in-home daycare while attending college to complete her associates in behavioral science, and after her bachelor’s in elementary education. She met a wonderful man with five children. They married just before the covid pandemic, bringing the total number of children to 11. The next year brought another little baby, making a total an even dozen. Together, Eric and Lyndsie parent a house full of chaos and love as they navigate life.

Episode NotesI am Virginia Heiner, I was born and raised in Utah. I was adopted at birth. I met my now husband in High School but it is important to note that we were not high school sweethearts. We hung out in the same crowd and went on 1 date in which I asked him and his mom responded for him. It's a funny story but essentially he was a stalker and very persistent, clearly he won as we have been married for 18 years and counting and have 4 amazing kids. We currently reside in Holladay, UT in the home my Mother-in-Law grew up in. Among being a Mom, Wife and all the other titles we gather as we grow through life. I work as an English/American Sign Language Interpreter in our community serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Hearing community. Bridging language and cultural barriers. I enjoy cooking, but not cleaning up afterwards to remedy that I came up with a great system. Rule my home is if you cooked dinner you don't have to clean up afterwards. Win for me! I enjoy naps, spending time with my family and friends. I am an extrovert through and through. If you meet me, I consider you a friend and you are stuck with me. I strongly believe that we are ultimately responsible for ourselves, owning my errors and even our own trauma and healing, I strongly believe in helping others whenever possible. And that we should always show kindness and love to others. Showing up daily with compassion and empathy towards our fellow humans that are growing in this life is the ultimate task and isn't always easy to do.

Episode Notes Cristine Hull's Biography

In my Frequency Level Training, I refer to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde as the divided self. Through my vast personal experience in a wide range of frequency levels, I can now securely embody both the higher and lower versions of myself. So please allow me to introduce myself as Dr. Price and Mrs. Hull.

As Cristine Price, Ph.D., I earned a doctorate in Natural Medicine and a Master’s degree in psychology. I practiced integrative mental health for over two decades and authored various self-help tools in nutrition, recovery, and emotional transformation. Several of my modalities, including Quantum Wholeness Meditation and The Complete EFT Method, have been accredited internationally. I've trained over thirty EFT Practitioners in what is being rebranded as Zero Meridian Technique. You can learn more at CristinePrice.com (no h in Cristine) In 2020 I felt called to the mission of raising consciousness through meditation practice and established www.AMillionAtOne.com as a catalyst for a million meditators. The current intention of our online group meditation is to raise the frequency of mental health solutions in Utah. In 2020, I also began what I refer to as the Third Awakening process. Over the next two years, I found the faith and courage to walk away from a luxury lifestyle and the world my husband and I had shared for seventeen years. I could no longer ignore the authenticity of my soul and felt the timeliness of attracting my soul mate. Four months after my divorce was final, I met Todd Hull. We made our vows on 11-11-22, manifesting the double doorway I entered eleven years earlier. I began 2023 by formally changing my name to Cristine Hull, which will be the author name for a series of upcoming fictional novels (still no H in Cristine).

I now play as much as I work, if not more. My teenage daughter and I snowboard/ski in the winter and catch the sun on beaches in the summer. Todd and I find dopamine in sober ways balanced with AA meetings, traditional church, and Transcendental Meditation. I'm now a grandma with a zen garden/sandbox in the backyard. Most importantly, I live and love my soul every day.

Episode NotesPamela Pamela

A long-time Utah resident & seasoned Realtor, my life drastically changed after wrestling with a health scare in 2021. Realizing her emotional and physical pain was hugely influenced by the severely deficient Self Love she had. She knew that real self-care was needed but what & where to focus on first stopped her efforts instantly. Which led to the creation of the “Journey in a Jar”. Where she rebuilt herself from the inside out by intentionally focusing on things she loved to do and bringing her joy. Turns out LOVE is always the answer. Thus, the jar was born, filled with 365 ideas of self-care & “I am” statements. It was very surprising to her how this tool became an EASY & FUN way of helping to redirect her thoughts & efforts in a more positive way. Over a short time, this has led to much more happiness and joy. Now, any love given by others literally overflows her cup and makes her more patient & loving with others. It’s weird how something so small can have such an impact on your own life. Imagine if everyone started to do that same thing. Before you know it, the world is full of A LOT more LOVE than before. It’s a real modern-day #love-a-lution in motion. We can do this! I can’t think of anything better to focus on. YOU!

Jacob RobbinsWelcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 84!

My friend Jacob has seen a lot for his relatively young age. He's a kid from, arguably, a different side of the tracks than many of us, and someone who, in his youth, never really understood how to be confident in himself.

All of that has changed. :)

Jacob was born in Tallahassee, FL, and lived in southern Georgia until he was 13. When he moved to Utah, he found a sense of hope, realizing just how big the world actually is!

Like myself Jacob also lives with ADHD, and understands how the fear of being rejected for having ADHD can make it difficult to make friends. He would find himself sitting alone at lunch every day by choice, even when there were people who wanted him to sit with them.

The time came when he had to decide if he was going to keep letting fear rule his life or rise above that fear. He chose to be confident in high school, and that has made all the difference.

You see, Cyndee has lost multiple people to suicide. I won't say who, because you need to hear this story directly from her. What I will say is that her approach to dealing with this trauma and other traumas is quite different from what you may expect.

Cyndee's life work is showing you how to surrender. :)

Intriguing, right? Want to know more?

Carlyn Shaw Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 73!

Meet my dear friend Carlyn Shaw.

Carlyn was diagnosed with MS over two decades ago. She's had an abortion. She nearly died in a motorcycle accident.

Do I have your attention yet? :)

These events were the catalyst for a transformative time in her life. Listen to this one intently, my friends. This is one you will never forget.

Carlyn's bio:

When the idea of being who you dream to be no longer feels, daunting, when your purpose calls you, when you're inspired to experience what you deserve, life shows up as possibilities: small world coincidences, friendship, love, abundance, ideas and opportunities… all from self love.

Life is not to be protected, it’s to be experienced. Your destiny is not defined by what has robbed you, controlled you or limited you. Your destiny is defined by the stepping stones you choose to create as a result of the circumstances you’ve been given. It’s not easy, it doesn’t feel good. They are called “growing pains” for a reason- you must be willing to let go of what happened to you and rebuild the precious life, waiting for you.

You came here to be you. I came here to be me.

When we are true to what makes us authentic and unique, we connect with people who expand our possibilities, naturally and exponentially.

I was trapped in a story that could have stolen my life, it was labeled MS. I was trapped in the story that could have stolen my faith. It was labeled grief. I was trapped in the story of anxiety, It was labeled the wrong job. I was trapped in people pleasing, It was labeled, an unhappy relationship. I was trapped in negative self talk. It was labeled an eating disorder. I was trapped in addiction, it was labeled an eating disorder. I was trapped in depression… I was trapped in negative self talk. I was trapped in fear. It was called, playing small. I was trapped in feeling alone. It was called hiding my truth.

It took time, it took courage. I rewrote these stories and healed myself. I let go of victimization and become the victories version of myself I knew, deep down, in the pit of my core, was possible. The only thing I had to do: give myself permission to pursue, what felt like impossible, trust the process and allow the life I was meant to experience present itself in endless possibilities. Now it’s your turn, let’s free you. It's your turn, to free yourself.

If you allow me, I'll teach you how to retell your story, from a place of joy vs pain. I'll be your cheerleader, your guide, your partner through a process of transformation, activation and ascension into the highest version of your authentic self. I'll hold your hand and help you step on the path of possibility, calling you to your truth.

Though we are meant to understand suffering, we are not meant to choose, suffering. When you give yourself permission to let fear and pain be your springboard, you'll discover silver linings to every cloud.

Join me, life is meant to be a fun! Let's play in possibility.

Meet my friend Stephanie! :) We actually just met in real life, (or IRL as the kids say), but we've been friends online for a very long time.

Stephanie is the mother of eight (8!) kids in her personal life, and is an educator for an online school, where she oversees THOUSANDS of kids! Talk about a lot of papers to grade!

She was raised in a small agricultural town in northeastern rural Arizona. After marrying her 1st husband at 19, she moved to Utah, where they had three awesome sons. Now, she is remarried to her 2nd (and last) husband, Hugh--who also had three amazing children of his own (a son and two daughters) from his 1st marriage. They have been married to each other for 10 years and have a daughter and son together.

As a perpetual student, she earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching and a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership. She has been an educator for over 25 years: a para-educator, a high school teacher (English, Spanish, Yearbook, Interpersonal Communication), a university adjunct professor (something she still does for the Department of Communication at Weber State University), a junior high administrator, and now as a principal for an online school.

Stephanie loves to listen to books and podcasts, write, play the piano and sing ,and learn new things (she recently started taking clogging lessons, and learning Danish online). When she grows up (and retires from public education) she wants to be a professional genealogist, write a book, and travel to Denmark and Machu Picchu, Peru.

Wendy Kelly Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 67!

Meet my friend Wendy Kelly! Wendy is a survivor, and a member of the Deaf Community. :)

Wendy experienced sexual abuse molestation as a child and teen, as well as emotional, financial, and mental abuse during her marriage. As a hard-of-hearing/deaf woman, she has also experienced various levels of discrimination throughout her 20-year career in non-profit leadership. The misappropriations and perceptions of persons with disabilities, as well as of those who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault moved her to raise her voice and become an advocate for those who may not feel heard or seen, and have been discriminated against. You Can't Yell at the Deaf Girl was born out of these experiences and has set the foundation for sharing a mission of empathy, compassion, clarity, effort, and intention in communication.

Wendy works with individuals, corporations, and community groups as they walk through the processes of diving deep and working through the layers of "stuff" that builds up and clouds people's perceptions that can often create hard to overcome challenges in communication using mindful yet creative and empathetic communication techniques that are supported by trauma-responsive modalities.

She has also worked with several corporations over the years in writing effective and well-thought out diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, taught communication classes at the Utah Women's Correctional Facility, and facilitates women's only retreats centered around reclaiming one's sacred self.

The journey of self reclamation has become the one big adventure in Wendy's life. Learned and lived experiences have given her a wide open view of how empathetic communication with self and others is key to the healing journey.

In her spare time, Wendy enjoys being outdoors and exploring the mountains and trails of Utah, Oregon, and Washington, coaching for Special Olympics Utah, and spending time with her family. She is mom to two amazing humans and "grammy" to one absolutely adorable little girl. Wine tasting excursions, coffee shop visits, exploring small towns, finding good, local art, attending music festivals, and enjoying time with friends and family are the happiest of moments for her.

Susan Layton Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 57!

As many of you know, in my youth I served a religious mission for my faith, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was a mission served in deaf and hard of hearing communities, and the people I interacted with were members of the deaf community. The experience had a profound effect on my life, and I became a fast ally and advocate for the Deaf Community.

Susan Layton is also an advocate for the deaf community; indeed, she runs Access Simplified, a company that works with organizations to help them become more accessible to the Deaf Community, which allows the organizations she works with to become more inclusive, and increase their engagement with the Deaf Community.

She also has four kids, and is from the Las Vegas area, though she now lives in Utah. She's been married to her husband for 22 years. She loves the mountains, snorkeling, and if caught day dreaming, rest assured she's thinking about the North Shore of Oahu Island, again. :)

Marie Owens Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 52!

I HAD NEVER MET MARIE OWNES BEFORE THIS SHOW. :) I'm not kidding.

But, that's no reason to not be curious and thoughtful about this person's life. See, we have something in common: We're both Missionary Moms!

She was raised in Oklahoma, and currently lives in Arizona with her husband and their 5 children. She has a master’s degree in music, with emphasis on piano and viola. She has been a seminary teacher, and is currently teaching institute. She loves learning new things, creating good music, cooking and baking for others, spending time in the mountains, and traveling and exploring new places.

She has twin daughter's out serving right now. One is in Paraguay, and the other arrived in Uruguay a few weeks ago, after having spent half her mission in her reassignment of Arkansas and Missouri. Though very hard to leave 'her mission,' she went to Uruguay with faith, and has been received with tremendous amounts of love---as are all missionaries right now, since the country recently opened up to missionaries. Her twins are so happy to be back in the same hemisphere!

Mserved a mission in Dallas, and my husband served in England. I am one of 8 children, who all served missions, including the 4 girls. My grandparents were called to serve in New Zealand before they were even married, or engaged! They left Idaho for SLC, where they were sealed in the temple, then headed off to NZ for 3 years. Missionary work is very much a part of my DNA. prior, his mission was finished.

I help individuals, couples, and families to shift the difficult patterns that may be contributing to their problems, and build healthy relationships with self and others. I believe that even our most frustrating actions make sense when we understand why we do them, and that it’s never too late to create a happier life.

When working with individuals, I help people heal from longstanding obstacles, as well as recognize and meet their fundamental emotional needs. I help couples and families work collaboratively to change dysfunctional relational patterns, and find greater connection in these important relationships. Together, let’s work to support a happier, more fulfilling present and future.

I enjoy helping people work through relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, addiction, life transitions, grief, communication, and improving emotional connections. I’m especially passionate about working with all facets of trauma, for individuals and within relationships.

Angela Dawn Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 41!

The epic year of amazing conversations continues with my friend Angela Dawn!

Angela specializes in coaching individuals and teams through personal transformation, her life's work revolves around recognizing and understanding patterns. She has a psychic ability to see things that others have difficulty understanding and/or cannot see in a clear and logical way. This has given her an ability to tread lightly through life and has also increased her patience, making her a great teacher and guide to others.

Angela has one purpose in life: to question everything and still remain entirely open. Her whole life has been an inquiry into life itself. In 2006 she experienced spontaneous healing after suffering nearly 10 years with debilitating back pain by uncovering generational ancestral patterns. This was the start of her kundalini awakening and brought quantum entanglement into her sphere of awareness. In 2018 she met and then married her true twin-flame. As an autodidact she has gained an enormous amount of knowledge, but that is not why she is here. She is here to inspire others to remain as open as she is, it has been her experience that in a state of open-mindedness we will find the expansion our spirit is here to receive.

Angela has written many coaching courses as well as mental and emotional content for companies outside of her own.

She is currently writing two books:

  1. 'We Interrupt This Programming'- a journey to total healing of mind, body and soul.
  2. 'L.O.V.E. - Law of Vibrational Equilibrium'- a twin-flame reunion. Her goal is to release both by the end of 2022.

Dawni Angel Greetings Mortals! ;)

Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 39!

It's after Christmas, the rush is coming to an end, and all of us are settling down and prepping for New Year's Eve, I'm sure.

What better way to do all of that than in the company of a world class coach like Dawni Angel?

By her own account, Dawni was a "weird kid", (HA! I think I have her beat there...)

From her website:

"From a very young age I read everything I could get my hands on that talked about human behavior. According to neuroscientists, we are conscious of only about 5 percent of our cognitive activity, and my life’s obsession is to raise that 5 percent in myself and others. That way people can understand themselves deeply, thereby maximizing their strengths and ability to create consciously. My background is in public speaking, entrepreneurial coaching, and deep conversations over high quality coffee. I’m passionate about the free market, assisting businesses in being sustainably successful, and being the glitch I want to see in the matrix."

I hope you enjoy this very lively discussion! We have big plans for 2022, so don't touch that podcast dial. VanGarrett Media and I have a lot in store for you!

Brieanne Van De Graaff Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 30!

My good friend Brianne is a fellow appreciator and advocate for the Deaf Community, just like me! We met through a mutual friend (at a Senegence party) and we have been connected ever since. We also found out through conversations that she went to the same ward as my niece who is Deaf and taught her occasionally in Primary. :)

She lives in Maryland and has been a mom of two recently-adopted three-nagers for almost three months now. Her hobbies include napping when her kids nap, avoiding laundry, and taking long walks to the fridge. She enjoys sleeping past 6:30am, netflix-binging (anything but Cocomelon), and eating goldfish crackers she finds between the couch cushions.

Kidding. Kind of.

She is a (very new) mom of twins. She's still figuring out how to be a mom (and a human) and she's loving the journey. She is a survivor of sexual abuse and she's passionate about supporting and advocating for other survivors. She works from home as an ASL Interpreter and she's a student at Johns Hopkins University in their Autism Studies Master's program. She's not sure who or what she wants to be when she grows up--being a rookie mom has upended her priorities in the best of ways-- but every day she grows and learn alongside her kids, and she's confident she'll be led in the right direction-- the same way she was led to them.

He loves to learn! He has a M.S. in economics from the University of Utah; He is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) with the National Speakers Association, a designation which less than 17% of speakers worldwide achieve. Lindsey Ellers Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 25!

OH MY CRAP! We're at the half-century mark! It's like, my podcast can rent a car now! (They grow up so fast...)

Lindsey "Freaking" Ellers is chasing down her Doctorate in Chinese Medicine. She has SO much to share about how different parts of the body are effected by different emotions.

For instance, did you know that laughter is the sound of the heart? Or that the spleen is effected by stress? How about that fear preys upon the kidneys?

Neither did I. :)

Join me for an engaging and fantastic conversation with one of the smartest people I've ever met!

Eliza Nelson LeBeau I'm baaaaack! :)

I hope y'all had a fantastic Labor Day weekend last week! Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast episode 25!

My friend Eliza is a survivor of the most admirable kind. She's the sort of person we can all learn from.

Her ex-husband was poopy. Notice my usage of past-tense: was. Yeah, he's no longer with us. I'm not one to usually speak ill of the dead, but when you hear Eliza's story about her life with him, I think you'll agree that when she says she hates him, that is actually a healthy place to be.

Stick with me here listener, because, as you know, I like to get real, and it doesn't get more real than this conversation.

Eliza reminds us that, even in the face of awful consequences, we still have the freedom of choice; we still have #FreeAgency. We are still empowered to choose how we respond to a situation. Are we going to be the victim, or are we going to work to rise above?

Eliza also teaches us about The Moth Principle, and the actual definition of parenting. (Spoiler, it isn't what you think!)

Nathaniel Greene Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 23!

Nathaniel Greene is a wonderful person. Heck, I should know, I MADE HIM! :)

He's technically an adult now, and I'm not okay with this, but I'm learning to cope. I wanted to start including him in these sorts of endeavors, as he has a desire to go into media and film. Podcasting is close enough. ;)

I hope you enjoy this frank and fun mother/son discussion. Help me adjust as I slowly come to terms with the fact that my son is now a man, and will be leaving the nest soon on his mission.

Oh! Also, he has issued a challenge that you absolutely MUST hear about. Listen in for the deets!

Chris VanGarrett Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 22!

OKAY! IT'S DONE! Oh my crap, being a guest is HARD. I've been a guest on other podcasts before, but this is the first time I've been a guest on my own show. :)

This episode is a continuation of the previous episode. For those of you just joining us, my producer, Chris VanGarrett, said it would be an interesting idea for someone to interview me on my own show.

He's got a good nose for these things, so we decided to do it.

He made me cry, TWICE. We discussed matters that I have never discussed in public before.

Honestly, this was wonderful. It was also really hard.

You get to find out my fuel, my oxygen, and my heat. You also get to hear when I plan to have the content for my next book to my publisher!

Thanks to everyone for listening. I love you.

Chris VanGarrett Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness podcast, episode 21!

My producer occasionally has good ideas. ;) Just kidding. He's a genius, and he knows it.

We were talking about who our next round of guests should be, and he had the bright idea of doing something a bit different, by having me sit in the interviewee hot seat, while he performed the interviewing. Chris is a classically trained broadcast professional and has the voice to boot, (I mean, just LISTEN to him! <3), so I felt like I would be in good hands.

In fact, I was in such good hands, that we ended up talking for over two hours!

Of course, I know my people have things to do, and listening to two people talk for over two hours may take up more time than you usually allot for me, so we spit the interview into two episodes. This is part one, and part two will drop in a week's time.

We go back in the past to what life was like for me as a young trucker's daughter in Provo, UT. The threads that make me Hotness can be traced directly back to these events.

We mention my book, Love Me Too, which is available for purchase here: https://www.amazon.com/Love-Me-Too-Finding-Fulfilling-ebook/dp/B07H9JZ2WJ/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1627875466&sr=8-1

As usual, we get real here, folks. But, now the spotlight is on me, so it's a little more nerve-racking than I'm used to.

Enjoy!

Dalisey Brooks & Ben Davidson Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 20! :)

OH MY CRAP, TWENTY EPISODES! TWENTY, EVERYONE!

This milestone in my podcast career is marked by an amazing discussion with my new friends Dalisey Brooks and her friend Ben Davidson.

You see, Dalisey is from South Africa. She's an entrepreneur, and one of the rare kind who don't give up. Dalisey wanted a better life for herself, so she began reaching out to people over LinkedIn, asking for someone to take her seriously.

She combed through SO many people. So many. You'll have to listen to find out how many, but let's just say it was more than 100.

Even more than 1,000.

She happened upon my friend Ben Davidson, who runs an investment company called Entrepreneurs Against Poverty, or http://entrapov.com . This is a group that seeks to lift up individuals who need help.

Through EntrAPov, Ben has assisted in getting Dailsey's business off the ground, AND he started the process of assisting her in getting help with her education.

Life has changed for Dalisey, and for me, since I had the pleasure of meeting her!

This is a story of inspiration and hope. I cried. A lot. :) I hope you enjoy it!

Anna Zumwalt Welcome to The #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 19!

Isn't is amazing that we all have more in common than we have in contrast? Would anyone think that a person like me would find commonality with a Zen Monk who wrote a book all about sitting still, when I am the LEAST likely person to sit still at any given time? (HAHA!)

Meet my wonderful friend Anna Zumwalt! :)

Anna resides here in Utah, and she is a practicing Zen Monk. She sits quietly for two hours each morning, and invites friends from all over the planet to join her via Zoom.

This has really motivated me to look deeper into myself for my own sense of stillness.

My friend Bria has THE most amazing love story you'll hear! It's absolutely wonderful! The only spoiler I will give you is that it has to do with September 11, 2001.

You might be saying, "Leta, isn't that a little odd? A 9/11 love story? Seriously?"

Yes, gentle listener, SERIOUSLY. Would I lie to you? No, I wouldn't, because that would be poopy.

Bria is a married mother of two teenage boys and is MADLY in love with her husband. Her faith in God is what keeps her going. She very much views both Ireland and Utah as her home. Shala is the President and founder of my media Company, VanGarrett Media. She, along with her spouse, Chris VanGarrett, are the ones who bring my podcast to light.

Shala was assigned female at birth, but now identifies as a Gender Fluid Human Being. I wasn't sure what all that meant, and she offered to have a chat with me about it so I could better understand it, and share it with y'all.

The more I learn about the LGBTQIA+ community, the more I realize that we have more in comment with the members of the community, than we realize.

Stephanie Wardrop Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Episode 13!

I first met Stephanie when we both were very young. Like, in diapers kind of young. She's been my friend for literally ALL of my life, and now she's my partner in something amazing.

Ripples of Change is a non-profit we established to help underprivileged people. This all started with my efforts to change the course of fate for my sister, who lives on the Jeddito Navajo reservation in Arizona.

Did you know that COVID-19 hit the Native population; specifically the Navajo population, 400% harder than the rest of the country? And, the federal laws are so messed up, we couldn't even mail things like cleaning supplies and bleach to them during the pandemic.

This all started a fire in me to help these people, and Stephanie was instrumental in making this all happen.

Shala Dawn (She/They) Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness podcast Episode 12!

Meet my friend Shala, 1/2 of the genius behind my media company, VanGarrett Media. :) They're an entrepreneur, they're a mom, she's a spouse, and she's a wonderfully gender-fluid human.

Some people may (and sometimes do) ask how Shala and I can be friends, given that we are vastly different people. Thank you for asking. Allow me to enlighten you:

Shala and I have far more in common than we have in contrast, especially when it comes to our ability to see and love people from all walks of life. I first met Shala and their spouse Chris in 2019, and both of them instantly impressed me with their real desire to know and understand me, long before they attempted to woo me as a client. We became fast friends, and before our meeting was over, I knew they were the ones to help me.

We get into the weeds on this one, covering subjects ranging from gender-fluidity (admittedly, something I'm still learning about), to sexuality, to how to accept and love yourself as you are.

I even cry. A little. :)

Richard Bliss Hello and welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 11

He started a company, BlissPoint Consulting, which does precisely that. :)

The difference between sharing personal and private information on social. How to deal with unsolicited messages on LinkedIn. How to identify when a bot is contacting you, VS a real, live human being. What is the LinkedIn "Golden Hour"? The single most important tool of influence on the LinkedIn Platform

Tina has 3 children; two of whom she parented and one who she chose to place for adoption at birth. He has been in her life since he was 18.

When he got the call to move to Salt Lake City, she sold my residential cleaning business. Now she teaches compassion skills to those who desire to heal personal trauma and end the cycle of abuse in their families. She also teaches business and marketing skills for entrepreneurs.
