Tom Tikka is a previous TDBA winner and joins us to preview his brand new album "Rainbows and Dead Flowers." Despite the seemingly paradoxical title, the album chronicles various stages of life and relationships with songs that run the gamut from infatuation to desertion and aftermath. Response was so overwhelming that we had to get the girls back to discuss the song, the writer and how it came together. This week we do that. Kelly of Smith Sisters joins us to share the song and introduce Harrolyn Black, widow of the songwriter 'Butch' Black, who wrote the song.

Leigh Thomas, singer/songwriter/guitarist from Melbourne, Australia, returns to TheDavidBowersAwards to debut his newest album, 'The Long Way.' Leigh talks about the songs on the album and his vision for creating his first album after many years in the business producing mostly singles.
Leigh's music is primarily pop-rock, although it crosses many genres including r&b, ballad and even country-rock. Jennie J is a versatile, true multi-genre artist whose primary focus is new country and stadium country. While she appeals to younger demographics with her blend of modern country with true country feel, she remains true to herself and her fans, promising to always write and sing what she feels. Jennie believes music should have no limits and you should be able to write and record whatever feels good why limit yourself to one space.

Get to know the Electric Radio Kings and St. Louis Blues/Rocker Tony Campanella on this week's TheDavidBowersAwards! Electric Radio Kings is a relatively new band featuring vocalist Paul Christiana, guitarist Stacey Blades (L.A. Guns), guitarist Keith Horne, drummer Johnny Rude (Salem Saints), and bassist Del Cheetah (Sex Slaves). While they operate out of Las Vegas, its branches stretch out farther than that, with deep roots in New Orleans, Los Angeles and Toronto.
Tony Campanella is a singer who also happens to be an exceptional blues guitarist. Put the two together and you have a band leader who is also a virtuoso guitarist. After 25 years in the business, he's releasing his first album and we'll share tracks from it.

Roy Aleksander is a 17-year-old Norwegian pop star whose music is his self-expression and is moving to the dance music world.
