There's always a little bit of tension when the protagonist meets his or her nemesis, and chapter 3 delivers. Laddin meets Malik for the first time and tensions are high. My commentary goes into detail about what I was going for with this relationship and how I didn't want to focus so much on the why the bad guy is the way that he is, but rather, I wanted to focus on why Laddin is the way the heis, and what that means in the context of Malik.

In this episode, we take a look at Chapter 1 of LAMP, my sci-fi adventure novel that re-imagines the story of Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp. In chapter 1 we are introduced to the three primary protagonists as well as peripherally introduced to one of but not the bad guy of the story. In my commentary I address the characters, the setting, and how I came up with some of my ideas.
