s.Heloves: Recent Episodes

Esther & Lauren

We warmly WELCOME ALL of you to our podcast: s.heloves! The inspiration behind our name was from the verse, 1 John 4:19: “We love because he first loved us”. We hope to shed some light and truth in people’s lives through this account as we walk in faith and obedience to Him. We don’t have everything planned and figured out, but we believe in God’s provision and hope that we can encourage both believers and non-believers by simply sharing the love of Christ with all his beloved children!

Talk about a college reunion!

In today's episode, Esther and Lauren are joined by not only their friends but also leaders of a Christian Club at Stony Brook University, Korean Christian Fellowship (K.C.F.)! We had the great privilege of having Joe, Christine, DJ, and Jenn join us in discussing how they got about becoming an e-board member for this club and how God has been moving not only within K.C.F. but also in their hearts. Although it's been a while since we've all came together to talk, it felt like we picked up right where we left off since freshman year in one of the study lounges at Stony. Join us today as we share, laugh, and expose (sorry Joe) each other :D

As many of us have started school, we can definitely agree that the transition hasn't been easy. From sitting at our desks all day watching lectures and only moving when we have to, the least that we can say is how anti-climatic and difficult it is going to be moving forward compared to the past semesters. Although times have been tough, we hope that this episode may bring you some form of encouragement and lead you to smile as our O.G. freshman year buddy, DJ Choi, joins us in today's episode! In this airy and lighthearted conversation, we were able to catch up with one another and share how we found to trust the Lord during these unprecedented times.
