Psalm 17 - It is one of the great Psalm which has its own unique features. How are we praying ?? Is it with our deceitful lips ?? God test what we speak based on the internal feelings , he checks are we speaking with that intention or not ?? We should be very careful about what we speak and How are our internal feelings because God records down everything what we speak . Our mouth shall not trangress. How are we , Are we like the wise person who built his house on the rock (or) like the unwise person who built his house on the sand ?? From Ezekiel 13 : 10-12 , Are we covering our flimsy walls(it refers to our soul or regarding our Spiritual growth) with the whitewash , when the rain comes the whitewash goes away ,then our Spiritual nudeness will comes out....then we will be caught ...... When we built our houses on the sand , what is more dangerous , fearing that the house will collapse or It's dangerous to collapse and destroy ?? What is more dangerous the second one is more dangerous..... So we will build our houses on rock called Jesus Christ... Already the houses are there on the rock as the Jesus Christ said I will go and prepare the house for you all who believe in me (Jesus)....So just the thing is to go there and live in the houses.... The Community or Society is different when you are in the house built on sand and community is different when you are in the house built on the rock...the difference is the way of the speaking , the attitude ,the things they see , the things they desire for..... Are we like the wicked who speak proudly ?? The verse 14 is about how this world(Unbelievers) is leading their lives , God is filling their belly with his hidden treasure .They are satisfied with their children and crave to save the money or possession for future generations.... Are we like this people ?? Once check yourself !! Don't crave for this earthly pleasures and things which happiness will be just till our death !! Then what happens after death is the question....now !! Don't crave for the physical safety of our body , crave for the Spiritual safety of your soul !! because "నాశనం అయే నివాసానికి అలంకారం ఎక్కువ " ఇక్కడ నివాసం అనేది మన శరీరం...So our body may die or destroy at any time and should be buried in the sand....so crave for the things which gives you eternal life...after death.. In the verse 15 of this chapter and also Matthew 5:8 and also see Psalm 16 :10,11, "Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will be vindicated and will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness." Here the writer says that he will see the God...Where we will see the God ?? In Heaven....The Writer quotes the situation," All will the people must die and all the souls will rise again !! But for seeing what ?? To see the God's face or to see the God's Wrath ??". You should decide this before you die only !! If you believe Jesus as your Savior and live according to God's Word then you will certainly see God's face after rising from the death , if not you should certainly face the God's Wrath !! How many will wake up from death to see the face of God ?? How many will wake up to see the Wrath of God ?? Only Jesus can change this !!! If you believe him as your Savior and live according to God's Word, then you will definitely be with him in the house built on the rock who is Jesus Christ in the Heaven.....!!! So our life standards should be built on Word of God only not on anything else...built on the standards of Christ.. So we should test or verify ourself , whether we are in the house built on sand (or) in the house built on the rock ?? (Or) we are in the illusion that we are in the house built on rock by living in the house built on sand ?? (Or) Are we like the people throwing the sand on the people who are living in house built on rock by living in the house built on sand , remember if we come under this Category then first sand will stick to us later it may or may not fall on others it is secondary thing first our life will be destroyed and we will deserve God's Wrath !! Please check your life's and rectify yourself according to the Word of God.As a Christian our life should be based on God's Word i.e., Our foundation of our Christian life should be God's Word not this Worldly pleasures,etc. If your listening to a Sermon , it is a Golden chance to you and me to rectify our way in which live (ourselves).Please come out of this World , start loving to rectify yourself according to Word of God i.e., Bible and live according to God's Word !!
