Thanks For Coming In is a weekly podcast hosted by actor/director Jillian Clare. Each episode features a new guest who shares their journey as an actor and one or two memorable audition stories.
Victor Lau talks starting his career as a dancer, transitioning to acting, living out his Glee dreams, and his new film Joy Ride! About Victor: Victor Lau is a professional dancer, competitive choreographer and aspiring actor. He started his performance training at age 12, immersing himself in street dance culture. He has shared stages across the globe with some of the world’s best dancers and has danced behind artists such as Ashanti, Sarah Jeffery, Alex Newell, and many more. Transitioning into the booming film/tv industry up at Hollywood North, with a new found passion for broadening his skill set, he is now honing in on acting. Victor will be making his big screen debut in the upcoming Lionsgate Adele Lim comedy feature film Joy Ride, which is set to release in June of 2023. You can also catch him as Floyd in the upcoming paramount plus series GREASE: Rise of the Pink Ladies.

Chris Mulkey talks "Twin Peaks", hitting his stride, releasing new music, and that time speaking his mind in the room booked him the role! About Chris: Chris Mulkey has enjoyed a long and diverse acting career in both film and television. Graham Parkhurst talks transitioning from stage to film and TV, his new Netflix show "Glamorous", and the time he dislocated his knee in the middle of an audition! About Graham: Graham Parkhurst is a trained actor and singer who started his career in live theatre, performing on stages across the US and Canada before transitioning to work in TV and film. He made his debut on the small screen with roles in The Umbrella Academy, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and Titans just to name a few. He will next be seen playing the main love interest in Netflix’s new series GLAMOROUS, starring Kim Cattrall and produced by Damon Wayans Jr, Jordon Nardino and Todd Strauss-Schulson. Parkhurst stars as ‘Parker', a confident, self-proclaimed jock who symbolizes unobtainable gay cis-male perfection. Michael D. Cohen talks his love of TV and Carol Burnett, living an authentic life, playing the iconic Schwoz from Henry Danger, and the audition where casting was sure he had a sister! About Michael: Michael D. Cohen is a series regular on Nickelodeon's hit sit-coms Henry Danger and Danger Force playing "Schwoz", a genius of indiscernible foreign nationality. The show won the Kids' Choice Award for best show in 2017 and 2020 and was nominated in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022. Michael shared his trans history in Time Magazine making him the first series regular actor ever to publicly disclose, let alone while being on a kid’s show. He has also appeared on shows such as Modern Family, The Real O'Neals, 2 Broke Girls, The Mindy Project, Angie Tribeca, Powerless, Austin & Ally, The Wizards of Waverly Place and many others. Film credits include the Coen Brothers comedy Suburbicon directed by George Clooney, the Oscar-nominated film Whiplash, as well as the Canadian Screen Award-nominated film It Was You Charlie, for which he was nominated for an ACTRA Award for Outstanding Lead Performance. Michael has dozens of commercial credits including the current Wendy's "Everything I Ever Wanted" campaign, Nespresso(working again with George Clooney), Mini Starburst, FedEx, Capital One, Boston Market, Honda with Patrick Warburton, and the Super Bowl Hulu Plus campaign with Will Arnett. As a teacher and coach, Michael served as Co-Chair of the SAG-AFTRA Hollywood Conservatory at the American Film Institute. He is a faculty lecturer for the University of Texas at Austin in Hollywood and has directed two highly successful industry showcases for UT Austin. He also teaches through his own studio the Michael D. Cohen Acting Studio in Los Angeles, and leads acting workshops regularly for SAG-AFTRA. Laya DeLeon Hayes talks "The Equalizer", growing up in the industry, her new film "The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster", and the time a casting director left the room in the middle of her scene! About Laya: Laya DeLeon Hayes currently stars opposite Queen Latifah on the CBS series “The Equalizer,” and is perhaps best known for voicing the titular role in the BAFTA, Emmy® and Peabody Award-nominated animated series, “Doc McStuffins,” which earned her a NAACP Image Award nomination. Hayes was just 9 years old when she booked the landmark role as the first Black animated character on Disney Junior. Laya recently won a BAFTA for her Supporting Role of Angrboda in Sony’s God of War Ragnarök. Haye's additional television credits include “Just Add Magic,” “Liv & Maddie” and “Raven's Home,” in addition to guest-starring roles in “Cougar Town,” “Grey's Anatomy,” “Quantico” and “Code Black.” Hayes has established a successful voiceover career, garnering roles in “Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny,” “Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie,” and most recently, she voiced the Iron Maiden in the popular video game series League of Legends. Upcoming films include the lead role in "The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster" and a starring role in the independent film “A Southern Haunting” as Hany, the youngest sister in a family of recently freed slaves, opposite Imani Hakim. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas, Hayes participated in school plays and talent shows, which powered her passion to perform. She trained at Hart and Soul studio in Dallas prior to moving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Hayes is an equal rights and social justice advocate and utilizes her social media platforms to spread awareness and to help propel conversation forward. Also, she is passionate about women's rights, body positivity and equality for all. Hayes has volunteered at the Indianapolis Children's Hospital to read to children and has helped feed the homeless at the Los Angeles Mission. She's participated in several anti-bullying campaigns, including Say-NO Bullying and Free2Luv, and walked the runway in the Grace Rose Foundation annual fashion show to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. In her free time, Hayes enjoys rollerblading, baking with her friends and family, fashion, singing, traveling and sketch drawing. She loves theater, watching movies and creating films and videos. Rebecca Lamarche talks working both as an actor and casting director, her new film "Sappy Holiday", and that time she pulled out all the dancing moves she had! About Rebecca: Rebecca Lamarche is no stranger to entertainment working in many facets of the industry as a Filmmaker, Casting Director, Producer, and Actress. Rebecca is taking the stage in the new movie, "Sappy Holiday" which premieres on December 17th on UPtv! The movie is also set to premiere in Canada on December 9th on Super Channel Heart and Home. In addition to her on-screen appearances, she cast, and associate produced, "Christmas Lucy Charm", "Christmas in the Wilds", "Christmas on the Slopes", "Santa's Got Style", and "Christmas in Wolf Creek"! In the last year alone, Rebecca held roles in three different TV movies. The first, a rom-com entitled “Fit for a Prince,” which premiered across Hallmark Channel on March 6th, 2021. Within the upcoming flick, Rebecca plays the supporting role of socialite ‘Brooke Hamilton’ who lives in Ottawa’s iconic Château Laurier. The film also stars actors Natalie Hall (playing the seamstress-turned-love-interest) and Jonathan Keltz (playing the prince). Rebecca’s two other films include Super Channel’s ‘Heart & Home’ romance “My Boss’ Wedding” (March 27th, 2021 and Lifetime’s thriller “Deadly Mom Retreat” from MarVista Entertainment. Rebecca was born and raised in Canada, natively speaking both English and French. Her Dalhousie University studies informed her work on both sides of the camera making her an intuitive filmmaker and performer. From network television to indie features, Rebecca doesn't compromise when it comes to telling great stories; putting passion and dedication into every project she does coupled with an easy-going "Canadian" sensibility. As a filmmaker, Rebecca has made it a priority for years to push inclusive casting and champion people of color both on-screen and in remuneration. Prior to the BLM Movement, she sat on a panel in May 2020 for the Toronto BIPOC TV & Film community to discuss the TV ‘Movie Of The Week’ genre, representation, and opportunities. Rebecca can also be seen acting and producing in the Shudder indie film “Anything for Jackson,” which gained traction in the 2020 festival circuit. Her additional recent acting projects for TV movies include: Home for Harvest, Love Alaska, and A Very Corgi Christmas. While her recent casting and producing credits include: The Wedding Planners (TV series), Romance In The Wilds (TV movie), Christmas Exchange, and Christmas in the Rockies. In the hopes of pursuing her passion for action films in the future, Rebecca decided to start her firearms training in 2012. She was selected by the Canadian Defense & Foreign Affairs Institute and Canadian Forces to complete the Canadian Military Journalism Course where she studied and was trained in military reporting. Then in 2019, she earned her Restricted and Non-Restricted Firearms License. Most recently, in 2020, she earned her Black Badge and started competitive pistol shooting (9mm). Cloie Wyatt Taylor talks her show "Partners in Rhyme" on Allblk, releasing new music, and the time she shouldn't have listened to her manager! About Cloie: Born in Washington D.C. and raised in the rural outskirts of Maryland, Cloie Wyatt Taylor is a multi-hyphenate artist (actress, director, singer, and dancer) with over 25 years entertaining audiences. Cloie currently stars as Vicky in Partners in Rhyme a lively comedy for AMC Networks' streaming channel ALLBLK and can be seen in the heartfelt family comedy feature from Netflix Yes Day, starring Jennifer Garner and Jenna Ortega. Cloie is also an accomplished singer (from a musical family) and will be releasing her debut EP later this year. Robert Palmer Watkins talks what it was like to join The Walking Dead, his career in horror films, and his most recent audition mishap! About Robert: Robert Palmer Watkins caught the acting bug early on, beating out hundreds of other teens for the coveted role of Danny in Barksdale Theater’s production of “Grease. After 4 years of training at a center for the arts high school, then 2 years studying musical theater at Christopher Newport University, he left everything behind to move west where he would develop his craft further, graduating from the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood. Robert is now appearing in AMC’s “The Walking Dead: World Beyond,” playing Lt. Frank Newton. Watkins racked up 191 episodes in his two and a half years as Dillon Quartermaine on ABC’s iconic “General Hospital.” He recently starred in two action thrillers, “Last Three Days” and “Puncture,” with several features to be released this year, including “Trapped Inn” and “Six Feet.” Robert is currently pitching his own comedy series “Tub Life” and continues to release original music under the artist name “Palmer.” Robert’s professional journey began when he booked his first two guest star appearances on Spike’s “1000 Ways to Die” and Lifetime’s “My Crazy Ex.” Soon after, he was elevated to leading man status in his first feature, “Safari.”Rob continued to build momentum, working on projects such as “Frat House Musical” for Subway, the web series “Sketch Juice,” a feature film “Back to Awesome,” and Cinemax’s series “The Girl’s Guide to Depravity.” He added two pilots under his belt with CW Seed’s “Cupid’s Match,” starring as the titular Cupid, and “Green Valley,” starring as Eddie Escovedo. When he’s not on set, you’ll find Robert at the gym, the beach, on hikes, or in jam sessions with his buddies. Lin Shaye talks being named the Godmother of Horror, her wide range of acting roles, becoming the face of the Insidious franchise, and the time she auditioned for Jack Nicholson! About Lin: Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Lin Shaye loved “storytelling” so much that even as a child and knew that she was destined to act. She performed in plays at the University of Michigan and later was accepted into Columbia University’s Master of Fine Arts program in acting, from which she graduated. While in NY she also studied with Uta Hagan, Stella Adler, and Lee Strasberg. After graduation, she worked with the best and brightest in New York theater, including the infamous Joseph Papp. Shaye made her film debut in New York in “Hester Street” where she portrayed a Polish prostitute, to her mother’s chagrin. Shortly thereafter, she took a gamble and flew to Los Angeles after hearing that Jack Nicholson was interested in meeting her for the role. She was cast in his film “Goin’ South.” Shaye has become undoubtedly one of the industry’s greatest chameleons. The Farrelly Brothers cast her in a series of memorable characters beginning with their 1994 hit comedy “Dumb and Dumber”, and then as the infamous landlady in “Kingpin” opposite Woody Harrelson, and again as the character Magda, the sun-withered neighbor of Cameron Diaz in their hit film “There’s Something About Mary.” Shaye was also unforgettable as the KISS-hating mom in “Detroit Rock City” and as Sonia, the tough German/Swedish coach in “Boat Trip” with Cuba Gooding, Jr. In a dramatic change of pace, she received critical acclaim in "The Hillside Strangler" as the alcoholic mother opposite Nick Turturro and C. Thomas Howell. The horror genre also found Lin starting with a cult favorite "Critters" and then on to Wes Craven’s “Nightmare on Elm Street” which paved the way for more in the genre. She worked on a trio of movies with director Tim Sullivan:, “2001 Maniacs,” starring opposite Robert Englund, its sequel, “2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams” and Sullivan’s "Chillerama". Shaye also starred in the cult classic “Snakes on a Plane” opposite Samuel L. Jackson, and the independent films "The Signal", "Jack Goes Home", "Abattoir", "Buster's Mal Heart" and "The Midnight Man" reuniting with Robert England.. In 2010 she found herself in the blockbuster hit “Insidious” directed by James Wan, which led to “Insidious Chapter 2, “Insidious: Chapter 3,” and the successful 4th film in the series "Insidious: The Last Key" in which Shaye had now had become according to James Wan: “the name of the franchise.” She also starred in Sony's “The Grudge" directed by Nicolas Pesce and the feature "Dreamkatcher" which she served as an executive producer. Shaye served as a producer and starred opposite horror icon Tobin Bell in “The Call” directed by Timothy Woodward. She most recently starred in “Ted Bundy:American Boogeyman” and next appears in the film “Frank & Penelope”. Shaye has a solid resume in television as well with guest appearances which include "American Gothic", and "Still the King". She appeared in recurring role as “Dottie” in Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful:City of Angels” series. She received a 2020 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Guest Performer in a Digital Drama Series for “Eastsiders” on Netflix. She most recently completed shooting the lead role in the series “Ellen” directed by Clif Prowse and Derek Lee. Shaye resides in Los Angeles and is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio. The D'Ambrosio Twins talk dealing with comparison, balancing their careers with their personal lives, and the time they both had a messy audition with yogurt! About Bianca and Chiara: Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, Twin sisters actresses, musicians, and YouTube sensations, Bianca and Chiara D'Ambrosio broke into show business at two-and-a-half years old and didn't look back. Since their breakout role as Summer Newman on The Young and the Restless (CBS), the girls have been featured in several commercials and popular music videos, including Bon Jovi's "What Do You Got" and American Idol alum Crystal Bowersox's hit music video for her 2010 hit single, "Farmer's Daughter." Chiara and Bianca have appeared together or individually on the small screen on Nickelodeon's Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn (2018). Banks plays Joy, a traditional 1960s housewife who unexpectedly falls pregnant when finds the Janes, an underground abortion movement led by Virginia (Weaver) that saves her life and gives her a sense of purpose: to help other women take control of their destinies. Ella Proberts talks working with the UN foundation GirlUp, her new movie "The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay", and the time she almost got a big movie! About Ella: Born and raised in Brisbane, Ella has had the acting bug since she was little, starting out in commercials and then joining the Queensland Theatre Youth Ensemble at age 10. Alongside theatre, Ella grew up as a competitive gymnast and won State Champion for Artistic Gymnastiscs at age 11, as well as joining the state team for aerobic gymnastics from ages 15 to 16. Her first television role would come from Netflix’s Mako Mermaids (the sequel to the beloved H2O: Just Add Water), starring in an episode on Season 2 as ‘Patty,’ the little girl who sees the trio transform into mermaids. Ella currently attends the University of Queensland where she studies Journalism and Arts, majoring in International Relations. She has additionally joined the Liveris Academy with their Associate Scholarship that focuses on the intersection between major human rights and sustainability crises. Ella has previously been studying law but has decided to focus on journalism because of her passion for investigative storytelling. Last year, Ella won a grant to start ‘Press Magazine’ that tells global stories in a print magazine geared towards younger generations. She is also actively building an online tool to help detect the transparency and accuracy of news stories, and even hopes to bring her loves of acting, film and journalism together as the magazine continues to grow. Ella has been passionate about leadership within social justice causes since high school and continues that drive by serving as the Regional Leader for Girl Up Australia and New Zealand, a United Nations Foundation striving for gender equality. This work is a continuation of Ella's passion for the human rights group and breakfast drives in which she participated in throughout school and presents exciting opportunities to connect with leaders throughout Oceania. Ella is currently doing a running challenge to help the UNHCR raise money for Ukraine with her university—this involves running every day for 30 days, starting at 1km and adding 300m every day until she reaches 10km! Now, Ella makes her film debut in The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay, directed by Christine Luby and produced by The Steve Jaggi Company. Adria Tennor talks her new movie "One Moment", working on various television shows throughout her career, and the time she auditioned to be a 12 year old boy! About Adria: Adria Tennor earned her BFA in stage directing and acting at New York University and Playwrights Horizons Theater School. She began her career as an actress, and her first professional job was playing a twelve-year old boy looking at porn in Tompkins Square park in Hal Hartley’s Amateur, which premiered in the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes. She works regularly in television and film and is most known for her recurring roles on Mad Men and Mad Dogs as well as in the Academy Award winning film, The Artist. She also stars opposite the late, great Danny Aiello in his final, soon-to-be-released feature, One Moment, a heartbreaking comedy about a single mother trying to harness her already hectic life while her aging father slips into dementia. Dissatisfied with the amount of work available to women in entertainment, Tennor began writing her own material, performing stand up early in her career, then spinning her material into a rave-reviewed one-woman show, StripSearch, about finding love and happiness with the help of a 12-foot pole. Another monologue she wrote and performed, Pie in the Sky, was published in the anthology about lust gone wrong – Worst Laid Plans: When Bad Sex Happens to Good People alongside works by Whitney Cummings, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Allison Brie and Laraine Newman. Tennor made her producing debut on horror spoof, Smothered, shot on location in Baton Rouge. Her directorial debut, a self-penned childhood drama, Cracked, stars Marguerite Moreau, and garnered awards and laurels around the country. Her second film, Pie, starring fellow Mad Men alum Jessica Paré, was a favorite on the festival circuit in 2018, also garnering awards and laurels internationally. Adria won the CineStory fellowship for her first feature script Never Been Born. While attending the retreat, she met accomplished YA novelist and Emily Dickinson First Book Award recipient Kristen Tracy, and the two co-conspired to conceive, collaborate and produce the short-format series FETISH which will launch in early September 2020. Adria is also in the process of penning a sequel solo show and series to StripSearch called STRIPPED about trudging through the ugly mire of divorce also with the help of a twelve foot pole. Her ambition is to create and tell more stories for and about women and to foster opportunities for a diverse point of view in theater, film and television.

About Sh'Kia: Sh'Kia Augustin is an American actress, writer, producer, and singer born to an African American mother and Jamaican father. She was born and raised in small-town Oakland, Florida, where she began singing in the church choir from a young age. Augustin started playing the flute in middle school and attended Florida Atlantic University on a music/band scholarship. She went on to graduate with a BBA in finance and music business. Kayden Muller-Janssen talks “Villains of Valley View”, how music has helped her express herself, and shares a big self-tape fail! About Kayden: Wellington, Florida native Kayden Muller-Janssen was raised by Dutch parents in the Winter Equestrian Capital of the World. Her immediate upbringing consisted of farm life, riding horses with her professional trainer parents. About Edwin: Edwin Lee Gibson began his run of 103 professional theatre productions at age 16. He has gone on to receive a 2006 O.B.I.E. Award (Outstanding Performance) and the solo cover of The Village Voice for his portrayal of Oedipus in New York Theatre Workshop's production of The Seven. His work has been noted in publications from the New York Times to Theatre Journal (Johns Hopkins). In 2017, he was tapped by theatre auteur, Peter Brook (Lord of The Flies, The Mahabharata) to join Brook's company in residence at Theatre Des Bouffes du Nord in Paris, France. In 2018, he took on the role of comedian-activist, Dick Gregory to sold out houses in the solo play, Turn Me Loose at Arena Stage in Washington, DC. In 2020, Mr. Gibson recurred the role of "Happy" in Fargo, Season 4 opposite Chris Rock and Jason Schwartzman.

Edwin Lee Gibson has completed three original pilot scripts, two feature length scripts, one tetrology and three short films since graduating from Point Park University's inaugural MFA program, Writing for The Stage and Screen, in 2016. Mr. Gibson began his writing career with sketch comedy, before spending seven years as a stand-up comic. He returned to New York City theatre and began to write single character, solo plays, most notably Anatomy of a Knucklehead (1999) which ran for 128 shows and the follow-up solo musical, Five 'Til (2001) which ran for 84 shows. Mr. Gibson received a Mondo Canè Performing Commission and a National Endowments for The Arts Writing Commission for a revival of Five 'Til in 2010. He is an original The Moth storyteller and appears on the compilations, Best of The Moth: Stories From The First Ten Years (2006) and The Best Mother and Father Stories From The Moth (2008). Mallory James Mahoney talks growing up on "Bunk'd", convincing her parents to let her act, and that time she almost work with a cast mate a lot sooner! About Mallory: Bright, talented and full of life, Mallory James Mahoney is a rising star to watch at just 17 years old. This summer, Mallory returned to Disney Channel’s comedy series, “BUNK’D” for its sixth season. Having grown up on one of Disney Channel’s most successful series, Mallory is very excited to transition to one of the older roles on the show. Starting her “Bunk’d” journey at the young age of 13, Mallory’s character has transformed throughout the seasons, with season six featuring Mallory’s character embracing the role of camp counselor on the cusp of adulthood. Even though she was shy, Mallory became completely bewitched and knew she wanted to try acting herself. After a year of begging her parents to enroll in a local theater, they finally agreed, thinking Mallory may not love it as much as she thought. Next thing they knew, a director was calling to offer Mallory a solo, and she loved acting even more than expected. At eight years old, Mallory decided she wanted to try acting in television and film and ended up landing the first audition she went on, a Chuck E. Cheese commercial. In addition to acting, Mallory is an exceptional student and prides herself on earning straight A’s. Her favorite subjects are biology and English, and she hopes to go to college and major in either environmental studies or biology and become an animal rights activist. Mallory also has a soft spot in her heart for volunteer work. In Texas, she volunteers with Neuro Fitness Foundation, a nonprofit gym for individuals with special neurological challenges. She is also a junior ambassador for Freshwater Project International, an organization that provides clean water, safe sanitation & hygiene facilities to people in villages, schools and health centers in Malawi, Africa. When not acting, Mallory can be found cheering on the ice hockey team the Dallas Stars or watching football. Keith Arthur Bolden talks the importance of telling Black stories, working on "Lovecraft Country", his starring role in "Terror Lake Drive", and shares that time he really thought he lost the role! About Keith: Born and raised in Los Angeles and surrounded by all of the action of the entertainment industry, Keith wouldn’t discover his passion of acting and the theater until college. Despite going to college with the goal of pursuing a career in civil service, Keith joined an African-American acting troupe, quickly discovered his passion for performing and hasn’t looked back since. In recent years, Keith has built an impressive roster of high-profile credits, including “Lovecraft Country,” “Underground,” Cobra Kai,” "Black Lightning,” “Jungle Cruise,” “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It,” “The Haunting of Hill House,” and “Chicago PD.” Next up, Keith stars in the ALLBLK original series “Terror Lake Drive,” coming to the AMC streaming platform in June. The show follows a suburb of Atlanta that is rocked by a string of disappearing women set against the backdrop of the Covid pandemic. Keith plays ‘Detective Reynolds,’ a hardnosed detective searching for the truth which eventually leads him to uncover a world of sex trafficking. A resident of Atlanta since 2013, Keith is an associate professor of Theater and Performances at Spelman College. He teaches acting classes and facilitates a fellowship program between the University and the infamous Alliance Theater. In his work at the college, he also directs one show a year and in 2021, at the Tony Award Winning Alliance Theatre, he directed a play that dealt with Black Lives Matter and the harrassment/killings of unarmed black by police officers. Keith is also on several advisory boards at the Alliance Theatre, a role in which he works closely with his wife, who is also the associate artistic director. In his illustrious career, his favorite roles are those in which he gets to work with the same people again. Having starred in “Underground,” with creator Misha Green, she later brought Keith back for “Lovecraft Country.” He has also loved his many experiences in “Cobra Kai” and “Black Lightning,” both roles he returned to for multiple seasons. When not acting, Keith makes sure to carve out time for self care and believes in the importance of therapy. He loves taking the time to drive with the windows down and the music playing. Shomari Love will next be seen starring as Shannon in the upcoming thriller which follows a resentful brother who organizes a prank kidnapping, but unwittingly hires career criminals who have plans of their own. Shannon is a former basketball star who is sidelined by a career-ending injury that leaves him without a job to support himself. When one of his oldest friends offers him an opportunity to change his financial circumstances by participating in the kidnapping plot, he jumps at the chance. The film is set for a limited theatrical release July 8th and you can watch the trailer here.
He is also no stranger to the world of film. Love landed his first lead role in Maya and Her Lover. Jayden McGinlay talks his new Disney channel movie "The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay", filming during the 2020 lockdown, and that time everything that could possibly go wrong for an audition - did!
About Jayden:
Raised in Gold Coast, Australia, Jayden is a versatile actor with extensive training and experience on both stage and screen! He began acting at the age of 6, and by the young ag of 8 he was already the youngest person ever nominated for a Gold Palm Theatre Award for his first lead role in a theatre production, playing "Oliver Twist" in Oliver! The Musical. Jayden landed his first professional theatre role the same year, playing lead role of "Jeremy Potts" in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, two years below the minimum age the producers had originally agreed to for the role, and he received rave reviews. Soon after, he was cast in Opera Australia and Gordon Frost’s The King and I and the London Palladium Production of The Sound of Music. He won the award for Best Actor for his first lead role on screen at age 9 at Bond University’s Centrescreen Awards and appeared in TV commercials, short films and TV shows including ABC’s Harrow!
Jayden most recently played the lead male role of American teen, "Cecil" in the re-imagining of Stephen King's short story Children of the Corn, written and directed by Kurt Wimmer (Salt) and produced by Lucas Foster (Ford v Ferrari), Doug Barry (FML) and John Baldecchi (Happy Death Day). Now, Jayden can be seen in the family-friendly feature film The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay, directed by Christine Luby and produced by The Steve Jaggi Company. Jayden plays the lead role of Teddy opposite Izabela Rose (Upside-Down Magic). The film will have its American release on June 11thon the Disney Channel and will hit theaters in Australia this Fall. He can also currently be seen in the Netflix Original mystery thrillerSweet River, playing Max.
Jayden has been awarded three scholarships through the American Arts, Film and Television Academy in recognition of his acting talents! He also has eleven years of training in singing, dancing and piano and in his free time he can be found writing, recording, and producing his own music! Jacklyn Zeman talks about choosing your path, her long road on General Hospital, and the audition that led to it all!
About Jacklyn:
Jacklyn Zeman does it all! Mother-Actress-Author-TV/Radio Host- Designer. Now after more than 6,000 episodes as nurse ‘Bobbie Spencer’ Chief Surgical RN on ABC’s “General Hospital,” she has become one of the most visible and likable actresses on network television. Jackie is a true contemporary and role model to millions of daytime viewers.
Born in Englewood, New Jersey, Jacklyn completed her high school studies at age 15 and studied dance at New York University on a scholarship. Within months she was dancing and modeling professionally while continuing her studies. A desire to act on daytime television led Jacklyn to her debut on ABC-TV’s, “One Life to Live.” After her character’s untimely demise, she was asked to go to Los Angeles to create the role of ‘Bobbie Spencer’ on “General Hospital.” Four decades later...Bobbie Spencer lives on and continues to be a fan favorite.

Jackie hosted the very successful and long time running infomercials for Leslie Sansone’s fitness videos, “Walk Away the Pounds.” The CD’s were one of the nation’s top selling exercise programs.
She spearheaded the Beauty Logics Skincare run on Home Shopping Network and was the spokeswoman for the Metabolic Trim Plan, a healthy way to stay trim and fit. She guested with Jerry Lewis in a cooking video and has starred in the “Beauty on the Go” and “Soap Star Workout” videos.
In August 2011, Jackie joined the team at Semprae Laboratories as the National Spokeswoman for Zestra for their TV, radio and print ads campaign. “This is a valuable opportunity for me to connect and interact with women on the important issues of love, romance, intimacy and sex. There is always something new and exciting to share and to learn.”
Jackie has also given her time and energy to help support public awareness programs for organdonors and filmed a video used in hospitals nationally to promote Hepatitis B vaccines to medical workers. As an advocate of health and well being, she has appeared numerous times at Health and Beauty Expos sponsored in major cities.
In June, 2000 Jackie received the Gabriel Project’s Distinguished Achievement Award for her continued support for African children in critical need of life-saving heart surgery. She has personally traveled to Africa to accompany children back to the United States numerous times over the past 25 years. She has been a board member and the Leukemia Society’s Honorary Chair for various events held in New York City. In 1998, she received the Leukemia Society’s Charlotte M. Meyers Volunteer Recognition Award. Jackie continues to lend her time and energy to help raise funds for Leukemia research by traveling to New York City in the spring and fall, to work with Jane Elissa on their fundraising events. She has been a spokesperson for the American Heart Association, helping to raise awareness of the women’s risk of heart disease and received their Les Etoiles de Coeur Award. Jackie and former “General Hospital” co-star Rick Springfield have co-hosted the annual Dolphin Ball which raised money for Cystic Fibrosis.
Industry honors and awards over the years include five Daytime Emmy nominations, including a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in 1998, two ISA Award nominations, a Soap Opera Digest Award and the Hollywood International Favorite Actress Award.

Arianne Zucker talks her recent Emmy nomination, balancing work and life, and shares the story of her very first audition!
About Arianne:
Four-time Emmy-nominated actress Arianne Zucker has played many roles, but she is best known for the character of Nicole Walker on NBC’s hit daytime drama, “Days of Our Lives”. Arianne played the role from 1998-2017 and 2018-present. Zucker has aired in over 1600 episodes, multiple movies, and new media programming giving her 1000’s of hours experienced screen time.
Arianne began her career in modeling when she was 16 years old. She soon traveled to Paris, France after winning her first modeling contest. From there she has traveled to Australia, Japan landing herself New York City. During this time, Arianne also booked several national commercials such as Mazda Miata and McDonald’s. During her career on Days of Our Lives, Arianne also began to generate work in primetime television by landing the role of Brenda Collette in CSI:Miami (2006). Her work was noticed by writer Karen Harris, (General Hospital, All MY Children) and was asked to play the role Winnifred Marshall in “Life in General” (2008). In the year of 2016, during the presidential election, Zucker found herself in the center of a controversy with then, Republican nominee, Donald Trump and Billy Bush over some unsavory words said about women known as "The Access Hollywood Tapes". Keeping her composure, she aired on Anderson Cooper and wrote an Op Ed for CNN. Without allowing these circumstances to change her or what she strives for in her career, Zucker continues to move forward. While in between acting jobs, Arianne keeps herself quite busy. She co-created the non-profit organization ARROW-HEART Adventure Camps in September of 2007 with her brother Todd Zucker. The organization operates out of a small town in Weiser, Idaho. The camp enriches teen’s lives through outdoor adventure. ARROW-HEARTS biggest adventure so far was creating a short documentary on the camp in South Africa in 2012.
Zucker has found success in opening a Life Coaching business called "Aloha Life Coaching" with her fiance' Shawn Christian. Choosing the path as a creative mind coach, life coach and positivity advocate began in 2019 when the world experienced the COVID-19 pandemic. Braeden Webb De La Garza, born in Grapevine, Texas, to Kerissa Webb and David De La Garza is an actor, musician, and singer. Starting at the age of seven, Braeden has performed in multiple stage productions, and acted in numerous projects both large and small. Braeden has multiple family members involved in the entertainment industry on both sides of the camera as well. Sydney Morgan talks growing her TikTok following, dealing with her Ulcerative colitis diagnosis, and shares a stressful self-tape audition!
About Sydney:
Sydney Morgan is making the world a better place. At just 19-years old, she has already well-established herself as an Actress, Model, Make-Up Artist, and Digital Creator. Her vast digital footprint consists of over 7-Million TikTok followers, 1.6-Million Youtube subscribers, and too many viral videos to count showcasing her outrageous make-up creations. Most importantly though, Sydney is utilizing her platform for good: shining a spotlight on Crohn’s & Colitis and the long-lasting impacts of chronic illnesses.
Sydney has always had a creative soul, but truly fell in love with the art of make-up when she was in high school – while stuck in a hospital bed. In 2018 during Sydney’s junior year of high school, she was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. The chronic inflammatory bowel disease causes inflammation in the digestive tract. With no true cure for the disease, she spent a year in-and-out of the hospital trying different medications and treatments, but unfortunately nothing seemed to work. In October 2019, Sydney underwent emergency surgery to remove her entire colon (her whole large intestine). The result of the life-saving surgery caused Sydney to require an ostomy bag (a pouch that allows bodily waste to pass through a surgically created stoma on the abdomen). In September 2020, Sydney underwent final reconnection surgery – and is now as close to healed as possible when it comes to Ulcerative Colitis.
Prior to her diagnosis, Sydney was a cheerleader, gymnast, and track-and-field athlete who dreamt of putting her athletic capabilities on display in college. In 2020, Sydney graduated high school and decided to take a gap year to heal from her recent surgeries. She took this time to lean into her artistic capabilities, and began posting make-up creations on Instagram, and later on sharing them toYoutube and TikTok. Her accounts quickly grew into the massive fanbase she holds today. But Sydney still makes it a point to use her platform to spread awareness of Crohn’s & Colitis.
Sydney doesn’t let her illness define her or hold her back. Instead she uses her platform to spread awareness of chronic illness. Helping others going through similar hardships and ‘invisible disabilities,’ while educating those who have not heard of the disease before. Sydney currently works with the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, and actively helps local children’s hospitals that specialize in pediatric treatment for chronic illnesses.
With her sweet and creative spirit, it’s no wonder why big name brands continue to knock on Sydney’s door. She has collaborated with major brands such as: Amazon Prime Video, Sephora, Ulta, L’Oreal, Beauty Blender, Dermalogica, Cocokind, Kiehl’s, Scentbird, Spirit Halloween, Gym Shark, Fab Fit Fun, Casetify, and many more.

William Stanford Davis talks "Abbot Elementary", mixing methods and technique, and shares an audition story with a major cellphone oops!
About William:
Emmy-award winning actor, director and coach, William Stanford Davis is an award-winning, classically trained actor and veteran of both stage and screen with close to 100 credits. The St. Louis, Missouri native is currently receiving rave reviews for his performance as the cantankerous yet lovable janitor Mr. Johnson on the hit ABC series “Abbott Elementary,” and also recurs as Coach Max on the sports series “Swagger,” based on Kevin Durant’s youth basketball playing experience with the AAU circuit for AppleTV+.

On stage, Davis was honored with an Ovation Nomination for Best Supporting Actor in the 2006 Actors Studio Production of August Wilson’s “Fences,” and he performed in the musical production “North on South Central,” which won five NAACP Theatre Awards in 2004. He also counts “Cages” written by Leonard Manzella and directed by Jon Rivera at the Matrix Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, “The Anteroom,” also for the Actors Studio, The Circle West Production of “Legacies” at The Matrix Theatre, written and directed by the late John Bishop, and the world premiere of “Two Ships Passing,” at the Pan Andreas Theater in Hollywood.
In addition to acting, Davis has directed a number of productions including Lawrence Fishburne’s play “Riff Raff,” a production of “Shame,” at the Elephant Asylum Theatre, and “The Old Settler,” at the Pico Playhouse.
Davis has spent more than 15 years mentoring talent at both The William Stanford Davis Masterclass, as well as the Actors Studio, where he is a lifetime member. He has coached several emerging stars, including Alisha Boe, Dylan Sprayberry, Laila Ali, Mc Lyte, Rio Mangini to name but a few and considers it an honor and a blessing to continue sharing his skills and wisdom with all.

Ben Giroux talks hew new show "Big Nate", playing the villainous Toddler on "Danger Force", and shares a few "almost" roles!

Giroux is best-known for his portrayal of The Toddler, the main and original villain on the hit Nickelodeon series Henry Danger. Brett DelBuono is a young actor who has already been performing professionally for the last twenty years. At the age of nine, after many theater performances, Brett found an interest in film and television and booked his first film role as Marcus in the movie "Freedom Park". He began traveling to New York and Los Angeles before he began high school (with the help of his supportive parents and two older brothers) and he hasn't stopped his obsession with entertainment since his nine year old interest was piqued.

Montse Hernandez talks her new film "Student Body", voicing animated characters, and shares some truly wild audition stories!
About Montse:
Montse Hernandez is a Mexican-American actress, singer, writer and director. Born in Dallas, Texas, Montse started her career in national commercials and modeling at the age of 3. At age 8, she landed the role of ‘Natalia’ on “Barney,” prompting her family to move to Los Angeles shortly after. Montse has built a resume of extensive credits including the titular role of Teen Jane in the CW's “Jane the Virgin” and has had several recurring arcs on shows including, NBC's “The Night Shift," USA's “Colony” and the independent film “Lowriders" opposite Eva Longoria, Demian Bichir, Gabriel Chavarria and Melissa Benoist.
Next up, Montse stars as the lead in “Student Body” which follows high school student Jane (played by Hernandez) who, after experiencing an inappropriate situation with her math teacher, takes matters into her own hands when the school administration refuses to take action. The film tackles several important topics including the importance of fitting in and the unfortunate reality of young women handling predatory advances from men in power. The film also stars Christian Camargo and Harley Quinn Smith and will open in theaters February 2022.
Montse is currently voicing roles in several Cartoon Network shows including ‘Gwen Tennyson’ in “Ben10,” “Victor & Valentino,” and “Craig on the Creek." Montse also voices the role of Empress Qiyana on the popular video game “League of Legends” and is one of the stars in Netflix’s Emmy-winning, animated series “The Last Kids on Earth” alongside Mark Hamill, Rosario Dawson, and Nick Wolfhard. She also stars in the upcoming indie drama “Solidarity" alongside Mexican actress, Elpidia Carrillo.
Montse's second passion is writing and directing. In the winter of 2018, she directed an animatic record with an all star voice cast including Josh Keaton, Yuri Lowenthal, Max Mittleman, David Kaye, and Tara Platt. Maryam Basir talks her new show "Lace", being an entrepreneur, and that time someone in the room said "red light"!
About Maryam:
Born in Detroit and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Maryam Basir has always had dreams of massive success. After graduating from University of Michigan, Maryam moved to New York City to pursue her passions. It wasn’t long after her relocation to New York City when she caught the acting bug, was signed by an agency and immediately began acting and modeling. Maryam fell in love with her craft and has been a working actor and model ever since.
This November, Maryam will star in her first television leading role as the title character in “LACE” on AMC’s streaming platform ALLBLK. Maryam stars as Lacey McCullough, a prolific Los Angeles attorney who is willing to do anything for her clients and blurs the lines between right and wrong. A complicated character, it is often unknown if Lacey is a “good guy” or a “bad guy” as she fights to get the best possible outcome for her clients. Maryam booked the role of Lacey with no audition. Producers from the show saw her in past roles and decided Maryam would be perfect for the role of Lacey. She accepted the role and since then has been having a surreal experience, a dream come true.
Maryam’s past credits include “The Chi,” “Chicago PD,” “Empire,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” and “Holiday Heartbreak,” in which she was nominated for Best Actress in an Independent Film for Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards. Next, she stars in “To Live and Die and Live” premiering early next year, opposite Omari Hardwick.
In addition to her career as an actor, Maryam owns a brow and lash studio in Harlem called HiBROW where she does microblading, eyelash extensions and SMP between bookings. In Michigan, Maryam founded a 501c3 nonprofit organization called NOiR Diamonds, empowering young girls ages 8-14. The organization provides them with tools to succeed in life. Lessons range from public speaking to learning etiquette and preparing for the future. Approximately 70 young girls have graduated from this program. Maryam resides in New York City and is a proud Muslim woman.

About Zarna:
Raised in Bombay and living in multiple countries throughout the world, Zarna made her way to the United States at the age of 16. After losing her mother at 14 and facing the choice of an arranged marriage or leaving, she journeyed to America on her own. Her experience immigrating from India to the U.S fed into her deep love for storytelling. Kian Talan talks his first TV Job, what it's like filming NCIS: Hawai'i, and the time technology sabotaged a really important audition!
About Kian:
Filipino American actor Kian Talan is one of the fresh new faces to keep an eye on as he is slowly taking Hollywood by storm. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire under immigrant parents, Kian always felt the pressure to succeed at a young age. With the struggles of standing out in a predominantly white area, and understanding his own culture, Kian shied away from his interest in acting so as to not stand out more than he has already felt. Kian went on to make his parents proud and acquired a degree in Computer Science to become a web developer.
Following college, Kian took acting classes, igniting a passion towards a career he never fully dreamed of. Growing up 100% Filipino, Kian didn’t want to stand out but also noticed how misrepresented most Asian American were when it came to his favorite series all the way to the news. This triggered a desire in Kian to be the change he feels many like him need.
Kian can currently be seen on the Netflix series Brainchild as well as Kai in the critically-acclaimed short film Shadows which had its premiere at Tribeca 2021 and its release on HBO Max.
Presently, he can next be seen in the upcoming CBS series NCIS: Hawaiʻi alongside Vanessa Lachey. Jane Tennant (Lachey) is the Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor and juggles the responsibility of raising her two children as a single mom while working with a jurisdiction that spans past Hawaii and into the entire pacific region. Alex, played by Talan, is a moody and exasperating teen who is struggling to cope with his parents' split and father's new family. Alex causes trouble in school while finding a way to navigate how to raise his younger sister. The series is set to premiere September 20th on CBS.
As an actor, Kian hopes to focus on telling Asian/Filipino American stories with his first step being cast as a Filipino actor playing a Filipino role. Kian’s ultimate goal is to be known as a leading character who can play diverse roles and ultimately, represent stories he never had the chance to see growing up, pushing the story forward for Asian Americans.
Outside of acting, Kian is a huge advocate for Asian American community, taking part in SIPA’s (Search to Involve Filipino Americans) LA Chapter and FACT (Filipino American Charity Trust) in NH, which played a huge role in Kian’s childhood in helping him understand the misrepresentation around him.
When Kian is not working, you can catch him spending time with his pandemic puppy, Wren, working out, playing volleyball, attending Broadway plays and listening to the latest episode of his favorite podcast.

Charlie Bushnell talks "Diary of A Future President" on Disney+, making content with his friends, and the audition with a questionable accent!
About Charlie:
Los Angeles-native Charlie Bushnell was destined to be in entertainment. The son of a musician and nephew to a film and television actor, at just 10 years old he started making movies with his friends.
While binge-watching “Stranger Things”, he made the big decision to pursue acting. In the beginning, Bushnell self-trained every day by memorizing his favorite film monologues while also filming himself. Next, he started participating in elementary and middle school plays and eventually started taking professional acting classes at John Rosenfeld Studios and Ruskin Academy in Santa Monica, amongst others.
Auditions quickly followed and he soon landed the role of Bobby Cañero-Reed in the Disney+ coming-of-age comedy series "Diary of a Future President”, executive produced by Gina Rodriguez through her production company, I Can and I Will. The series follows 13-year old Cuban-American Elena in her journey to become the future president of the United States while navigating the ups-and-downs of middle school. Bobby is Elena's sweet and mischievous older brother who is now a freshman in high school. Presently, you will see Charlie reprise his role as Bobby in the upcoming season on Disney+ and you will see him grow and blossom as he navigates high school. Season 2 is currently streaming.
Off screen, in Charlie’s spare time he loves just being a regular eleventh grader, playing soccer, tennis, video games, studying hard, and enjoying time with his family.
Daniele Lawson talks her new movie "King Richard" with Will Smith (in theaters now), growing up in the business, and a role she really wanted!
About Daniele:
Daniele Denise Lawson (Dani) is an American actress who was born and raised in Southern California. She knew early on that she wanted a career in the entertainment industry when she discovered her passion for dancing. At the early age of 2, she began dancing with many companies such as Fantasia Dance Ensemble, Victory Praise Dancers and Faithful Dance Company. From there, she booked her first national commercial at 4 years old with Toyota, then signed with Youth Talent Connection Agency. With her new agency, she went on to book many more national commercials such as AT&T, Wells Fargo Bank, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Comcast Xfinity, Sprite and more. At 6 years old Daniele got the opportunity to dance in the Just Dance Kids 2 video game.
Daniele also has extensive training throughout her career, where she studied voice, participated in the Impact Performing Arts Conservatory. At the Conservatory, she took ballet, jazz, modern dance, praise dance, tap, acting classes and vocal lessons. Daniele loves theater and during her years at Impact she played many roles such as Dorothy in The Wiz, Miss Hannigan in Annie, Zazu in The Lion King, and Iago from Aladdin.
Daniele has studied acting under Lisa Picotte, Sonya Leslie, and The Groundlings to name a few. She booked her first pilot at 6 years old, in the CBS production Herd Mentality with Damon Wayans. At the age of 9, she co-starred on CBS’ CSI: Cyber alongside Anise Fuller, Shad Moss, James Van Der Beek, and Patricia Arquette. This role drew the attention of her now managers at Entertainment Lab, who she later signed with. Daniele also co-starred in Nickelodeon's Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn, and Game Shakers. She co-starred on CBS’s hit show Young Sheldon, ABC’s Mixed-ish, FOX’s 9-1-1, and Netflix’s Dad Stop Embarrassing Me. Currently, she has a recurring role as “Jahzara” on Freeform’s Good Trouble. Daniele was cast in the role of “Isha Price” in the anticipated feature film, King Richard starring alongside Will Smith. The movie is set to be released on November 19, 2021.
When Daniele is not acting she loves creating fashion and make-up looks. She also enjoys cooking, going to see plays, and spending time with family and friends. Daniele wants to study and work hard to achieve a MFA degree and become bi-lingual in Spanish all while doing what she loves to do which is acting! Daniele is also an advocate for helping the homeless population of Los Angeles and giving back to those in need.

Muretta Moss talks writing and creating her own content, her journey through acting, ATL to LA and back to ATL, and her new movie "A Loud House Christmas" out November 26th on Nickelodeon!

Moss will star as family matriarch Rita Loud in the upcoming original live-action holiday movie A Loud House Christmas, which is based on the Emmy Award-winning animated series. The story follows Lincoln Loud as he gears up for the ultimate Christmas, until he finds out that his sisters have plans to be elsewhere for the big day. Determined to remind his family that they all need to be together, Lincoln and his best friend Clyde McBride embark on a mission to preserve the family’s holiday traditions. She recently wrapped production on the show Intersection, a passion project she co-created, wrote, and starred in.The dark comedy explores the intersecting effects of gentrification and the lives of people living through it. Moss plays Mary Margaret, a real estate agent desperate to make a reputation for herself through flipping houses in a “new” up-and-coming neighborhood. The project is currently being submitted to festivals.
Moss has also appeared in several short films including The Transition and Peggy, which premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival. She teamed up with two friends to write a quirky and uplifting webseries that challenges all the traditional media tropes of women called Dyed, Highlighted, and Hopeful which she also starred in.

Bo Yokely talks understanding the business side of acting, sustaining a career outside of the big city, and a self-tape audition choice that went horribly wrong!
About Bo:
Bowman Trent Yokely was born September 21, 1987 in Winston Salem, North Carolina to Karen Yokely, a schoolteacher and Brent Yokely, a financial advisor. He has one older brother, Brady.
He was raised In Kernersville, NC where he met his wife Olivia in High school. Bo holds a bachelors degree in Communications and a minor in theatre arts from University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Prior to his career in film Bo worked as a model and product representative for several high end clients such as: Tag Heuer, MAC cosmetics, Hanes, Belk, Peter Millar, Patagonia, Ralph Lauren, and many others. He is also a licensed financial advisor, beginning his career in insurance and investments prior to his acting career skyrocketing.
Bo landed a small role as a sovereign fighter pilot in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (2017) chiseled lifeguard in the action comedy Baywatch (2017) charismatic Jimmy in the psychological thriller Into The Forest (2018) and Ranger Clark in Ponysitters Club (2019). His first big break came as womanizing pro-basketball player Chris opposite Sanaa Lathan in the Netflix original film Nappily Ever After (2018). Bo landed his breakout role as male lead as rustic cowboy Collin Traub in the Harlequin romance novel-turned-film After the Storm (2019). Since then the lead roles haven’t stopped. As hard working farmer Cole Tooley in Christmas at the Grey Horse Inn (2021), Music manager Ryan Avery in Country Roads Christmas (2022), and his most notable role to date, IVF father Brian Crawford fighting for his sons custody in Lifetime’s Switched Before Birth (2021.) At just 18-years old, actress Emma Malouff is a star on the rise with her first big breakout role being in none other than a Ryan Murphy production. Emma portrays Sarah Paulson’s daughter in the new FX series “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” which premiered this Fall 2021. Her character ‘Allison Tripp,’ is the daughter of Linda Tripp (played by Sarah Paulson) – the woman whose tapes exposed the Clinton-Lewinsky affair. The Ryan Murphy series is sure to set the bar high for the scandalous story, as his previous series’ have received multiple accolades.
Outside of her theatrical passions, Emma has worked with human trafficking organizations A21 and Exodus Cry for years helping to bring awareness to the issues of human slavery and help those who have been exploited/are victims of trafficking. Jackie Goldston talks playing The Secretary on "Doom Patrol", working with Hamish Linklater, living in Atlanta, and the time she fell asleep on the job!
About Jackie Goldston:
Born and raised in Tustin, California, Jackie got the acting bug in her senior year of high school after she booked a role in a play. With plans to become a doctor, Jackie changed her course and attended Chapman University where she graduated in Communications with an emphasis in Media Performance – Theater, TV, and Film acting.
For the past three years, Jackie has played the role of The Secretary on HBO’s “Doom Patrol.” Based on comic books, this role gave Jackie and other members of her cast a unique opportunity to create a character from scratch while some other members of the cast referred to their characters’ journeys that took place in the “Doom Patrol” comic books. Jackie portrays The Secretary as a professional and efficient minded character who rarely shows emotion and is logical. The Secretary carries reason and in turn, is the influential mother figure that the character of Jane looks up to.
Jackie relocated to Atlanta in the late ’90s and has been living there ever since. Her first professional role was a national commercial for the mattress company, “Simmons Beautyrest.” Other past credits include guest roles on “Tell Me Your Secrets,” “The Passage,” “Shots Fired,” “Limbo,” and “Ambitions.” Past film roles include “Blended” with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. In “Tell Me Your Secrets,” Jackie had a phenomenal experience with her scene partner Hamish Linklater and is one of her favorite projects to date.
In her spare time, Jackie enjoys hikingand adventuring as well as photography, and spending time with family. Jackie is heavily involved in the charity organization “Be Rich” which vets and partners with a variety of charities to provide donors peace of mind that their money is going where it should. A cause particularly close to her heart is awareness to help those who suffer from Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN), a term for several types of blood cancer that her daughter was diagnosed with years ago.
Jackie is an advocate for mental health and is on the committee of a local SAG-AFTRA charity to help actors deal with mental health issues in the Atlanta area. Jackie founded a non-profit theatre company, also in Atlanta, that produced comedies, dramas, and musicals in a town that was void of acting opportunities for adults. During her time as CATCo's Creative Director, she also began a New Playwright's Initiative, a traveling Murder Mystery Troupe, as well as an Old Time Radio Theatre Troupe, all of which encouraged writers and performers of all ages.

Warren Egypt Franklin shares what it's like being back in rehearsals for the "Hamilton" tour, his role on "Grown-ish", and the one audition he completely cracked!
About Warren Egypt:
Star on the rise and triple threat talent, Warren Egypt Franklin, has been taking the industry by storm since the moment he graduated from Baldwin Wallace University. Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, a young Franklin aspired for greatness and juggled being an athlete and a theater kid. He performed in the theater district in Cleveland beginning at the age of 14 and upon getting the lead role in a stage production of Footloose, he discovered that the adrenaline from performing in front over 1100 people surpassed that of any touchdown he had ever made.
Driven by a love of the arts and a desire to succeed and make a name for himself, the ambitious Franklin booked one of his first auditions which happened to be for the touring company of Broadway smash Hamilton. He began performing the role of Lafayette / Thomas Jefferson (made famous by Daveed Diggs) and is the youngest actor to play the role in a touring company. After theater was forced into hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Warren Egypt returned to his home and began auditioning for film and TV. He quickly landed a role in Freeform’s Grown-ish. Ten days after the audition, he was packing up to move to Los Angeles where he would begin filming his first role for the small screen. The role has evolved since he first read for the character and will definitely shake things up at Cal U, portraying a role focused on mental health and sexual identity. He looks forward to viewers connecting with his character, one he thinks will resonate with young people who are learning who they are and discovering the evolution of themselves and that people, adulthood and sexuality are not one dimensional. Growing never stops.
When not touring the country with his Hamilton cast-mates or filming on set, he loves music and refers to it as his language, he enjoys focusing on self-care: going to gym, eating clean and putting his thoughts to paper. You might catch him watching a game or seeing one in person, as sports are still important to him. Franklin looks forward to his next job or perhaps another season of Grown-ish so he can experience filming in a post Covid world; he’s also hard at work writing his first television pilot.

When you think one of the most prolific character actors, who’s also an outrageous openly gay stand-up comedian, one name comes to mind…. Jason Stuart. Stuart has been asking this question for the last few years. When you break the ground do you get to walk on it? After years of steady work in film & television and on stage, with over 250 credits on his IMDB page, Jason Stuart has achieved a pinnacle of success. “For the last few years, people have started to approach me and say ‘you’re that guy,’” he explains with his characteristic gravelly laugh.
Stuart is the co-star, co-writer and co-producer of the hit Amazon comedy series “Smothered" along with Mitch Hara. Stuart has nabbed the title role in Hongyu “Neo” Li’s sophomore film “Hank" now on REVRY. Stuart has received rave reviews and the film has received several award nominations and wins. Li approached Stuart with the part of Hank after watching his performances in the Sundance hits “Tangerine" as “Joey the doorman”, the comedy made on iPhone and the historical drama, "The Birth Of A Nation" — the latter Stuart’s breakthrough performance as a southern plantation owner.
His autobiography "Shut Up, I’m Talking!" has been getting great reviews on Amazon from CCB Publishing. It’s the funny, poignant story of a gay Jewish boy whose life changed after seeing "Funny Girl" at a second-run movie theatre in Hollywood. “I thought to myself, I’m in love with Omar Sharif – who am I left to be but Barbra Streisand! And I’m a guy... Oy!” It’s about surviving a crazy family who survived the Holocaust and clearing up the wreckage of one’s past while learning how to become a man. His work as an activist has always been a big part of his life. He has stated that “when you go up in the elevator of success, take people with you”. With that said, Stuart is currently the National Co-Chair of the SAG AFTRA LGBT Committee. He was honored with the Jose Julio Sarria International Civil Rights Award, which was presented by the International Imperial Court System and The Persist Award for his work with the union. Jacob Hopkins talks joining the "How To Train Your Dragon" universe, playing a vampire as a child, growing up on TV, and a few times casting told him to pack his bag....when he didn't need to!
About Jacob:
Jacob’s big break came when he landed a role on the fifth season of the popular HBO series True Blood. In the critically acclaimed show, Jacob played Alexander Drew, the youngest (looking) member of the Vampire Authority. Having turned at the age of nine, his character was an impetuous vamp who liked to taunt those around him. Jacob shared the screen with fellow Authority chancellors Christopher Meloni, Peter Mensah, and Carolyn Hennesy as well as lead actors Alexander Skarsgard and his Priest co-star Stephen Moyer.

Jacob is definitely no stranger to the small screen. Following his success on True Blood, he landed a recurring role on The Goldbergs. In this hilarious comedy, Jacob plays Chad Kremp, who is a cool and preppy kid on the surface, but a geek at heart. His character becomes instant friends with Adam Goldberg (Sean Giambrone) as they share a love for all things geeky. The series also stars Jeff Garlin and Wendi McLendon-Covey. Jacob was also seen in the Lifetime Movie Missing at 17, which tells the poignant tale of the struggles a family faces when their teenage daughter goes missing. As the younger brother Andrew, Jacob plays a pivotal role in helping his parents find his missing sister. Julia Rehwald talks the "Fear Street" trilogy, her college experience in NYC, and shares an embarrassing audition story for one of the most popular Broadway musicals!
About Julia Rehwald:
Star on the rise Julia Rehwald was born and raised in California. Having always known she wanted to be a performer, Julia participated in plays in high school. Post-graduation, Julia packed her bags and made the cross-country move to NYC to study acting at Tisch. Once in New York, Julia signed with a commercial agent who secured her first audition for an IKEA commercial, which she booked. Julia continued the rigorous program at the Tisch School of Arts, including a semester abroad studying at the Royal Academy in London. There, Julia learned useful acting techniques and focused on Shakespeare. Julia returned to New York and graduated a semester early and immediately began auditioning for film and TV.
One of the first films Julia booked was “Fear Street,” the film adaptation of R.L. Stine’s YA horror series. Netflix brings the trilogy to the streaming platform in July in which Julia can be seen in two of the films: parts one and three. Each “Fear Street” film has a different perspective and story. First, Julia stars as Kate in “Fear Street Part One: 1994,” a story about love and friendship, and is a homage to the horror/adventure genre like “The Goonies.” The film centers on teens living in Shadyside, a bad part of town that is cursed by a witch. Julia’s character of Kate is a confident overachiever, who is head cheerleader and valedictorian. Her main goal is to be successful enough to get out of the town. Her character really cares about her friends and doesn’t care for people outside of her inner circle.
“Fear Street Part Three: 1666,” is a story about love between sisters. Julia plays the role of Lizzy - the spunky fun one who always wants to get everyone together to party and is always down to have a good time. Lizzy is the only one in the group who has gone to visit the town outcast, who everyone thinks is the witch. Filming was an incredible and unforgettable experience and Julia made lifelong friendships with the other cast members. She felt a huge female presence on set and behind the camera and going to work each day was a joy. When not on set, Julia enjoys hanging with friends, playing video games, watching movies past and present. Diane Robin talks the time she got kicked off the Universal lot as a young actor, fighting for the career you want, working with legends, and the time another actor tried to psyche her out!
About Diane Robin:
Although often cast as a New Yorker, Diane Robin was born in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles. Her training began in high school, with a scholarship to the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, and she was the youngest person to have been accepted into the adult program. Diane got a manager who convinced her to sneak on to the Universal lot, and personally hand deliver her picture and resumé to a casting director. She did, but was then thrown off the lot by a security guard. Telling the story of the fiasco to a complete stranger, he replied "I'm an agent and don't have anyone like you." She signed with him the next day, and has gone on to appear in over 120 television and film productions.
Diane has worked with Academy Award-winning actors including Holly Hunter, Robin Williams, and Jeff Bridges. Some of the legendary directors with whom she has worked include Terry Gilliam, Peter Hyams, Chris Columbus, and Paul Verhoeven in Robocop, as Chandra in the infamous "bitches Leave " scene. She has guest starred on numerous TV shows including NCIS, Desperate Housewives, and MacGyver. She's also costarred in many Hallmark and Lifetime movies such as McBride, Mystery Woman and Annie's Point. She can be seen in Authors Anonymous with Kaley Cuoco, House of Deadly Secrets with Patty McCormack, and You Can’t take My Daughter with Lyndsy Fonseca.
One of her favorite roles is in Indie Award-winning comedy Dating Daisy playing the pushy endearing mother Eleanor. She is very excited about her acclaimed comedy web series Strange Therapy, in which she stars , and wrote which is now on Amazon Prime. Diane just completed filming the thriller Deadly Reunion, and will soon begin shooting The Sweepers in which she stars. She enjoys performing both drama and comedy, as reflected in her long list of credits on IMDB.

Sarah Joy Brown talks her time on "General Hospital", how she got her SAG card, what's next, and the very important audition where she was sent to the wrong place!
About Sarah Joy Brown:
Brown was born in Eureka, California to parents David and Pamela Brown. She attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a theatre major. Her acting career began at the age of 19, when she was cast as Kaitlin Star on Saban's syndicated action adventure science fantasy series, VR Troopers. In 1996, she made a guest appearance in a 3-part episode of Power Rangers Zeo playing Heather Thompson, a girl who has a crush on the Red Ranger's secret identity, Tommy Oliver, but it never leads anywhere. An article in FOX Kids Magazine claimed a member of the VR Troopers cast would be quitting the series to become a part of the Power Rangers cast, however the aforementioned Zeo three-parter and Brad Hawkins voicing the Gold Ranger prior to the return of Austin St. John as Jason Lee Scott is the closest anything like this ever came to happening.
In April 1996, Brown originated the role Carly Corinthos on the American ABC soap opera General Hospital. Brown "quickly became an overnight sensation" and received three Daytime Emmy Awards for her portrayal of Carly. She won for Outstanding Younger Actress in 1997 and 1998, was nominated in 1999,and won again for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2000. Brown returned to General Hospital on January 31, 2008 in the role of Claudia Zacchara left in mid October 2009. In 2010, she received her first Daytime Emmy nomination in the Lead Actress category for her work as Claudia Zacchara.
After leaving General Hospital, Brown guest-starred on several television series, including Crossing Jordan, Strong Medicine and Without a Trace. She returned to daytime in the role of Julia Morrisey Larrabee on As the World Turns from August 2004 to March 2005, in which she appeared in 109 episodes. In 2004, Brown played the lead role of Kate Vignatti in the fact-based television movie The Perfect Husband: The Laci Peterson Story. She became a regular on the popular CBS crime drama Cold Case in the fall of 2005 but was let go after only a few months (she appeared in five episodes) with the series. In 2006, she starred in her first feature film, the comedy, Big Momma's House 2 and appeared in an episode of Monk the same year. Brown was also seen in the third season episode 12 of The Closer and on a 2007 episode of the Foxpolice drama K-Ville.
In 2014, Brown played Massachusetts State Representative Katherine "Kate" Wesley in the soap opera web series Beacon Hill. She was nominated for a 2015 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer in a New Approaches Drama Series,and won a 2015 Indie Series Award for Best Lead Actress (Drama) for the role.

Carolyn Hennesy is an actress, author and animal advocate. Hennesy's early work consisted of guest appearances and roles in shows and television movies, including Dark Justice and in Deadly Invasion: The Killer Bee Nightmare. She then rose to prominence when she was cast in a recurring role in Dawson's Creek. She followed this with a series of guest appearances until she gained international acclaim after landing the role of Diane Miller on the daytime television series General Hospital, for which she earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination. Follow this, she was cast in more recurring roles in shows such as Cougar Town, Revenge and Jessie. She also received much credibility for her role in The Bay, for which she won her first Daytime Emmy Award.

Amber Nash talks starring in "Archer", her new film "How To Ruin The Holidays", and a wild audition story with a surprise "The Walking Dead" actor!
About Amber Nash:
Nash got her start in the world of television voiceover when Thompson and Reed cast her in their Adult Swim series Frisky Dingo, where she voiced “Val” and a number of other characters. Her work led to an offer to voice “Pam Poovey” on Archer, a series that has since been honored with two Primetime Emmy® Awardsincluding Outstanding Animated Program, a Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Animated Series and a Gold Derby TV Award, to name a few. Nash’s character quickly became a fan-favorite and has garnered a lot of buzz and was even referred to as the “real hero of Archer” by BuzzFeed.
In addition to her voiceover work, Nash also explored a new medium with a role in the web series Hart of America, a performance which earned her an Indie Series Award nomination for Best Actress in Comedy. She has also stayed busy teaching, creating and writing shows, performing in thousands of improv shows and touring all over the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. She has worked with Second City in Atlanta at the Alliance Theatre and for Norwegian Cruise Lines. Nash also collaborated with Dad’s Garage and a group of performers with special needs on a short film project called That Was Awesome.

Mikayla’s moving performance earned her a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie.

Kate Linder has portrayed Esther Valentine on CBS’ The Young and the Restless for over 39 years, it’s been the #1 rated soap opera every week for over 30 years. In 2008, Linder received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. About Jeremy Valdez:
Jeremy (Ray) Valdez has worked steadily since he first landed in Hollywood. Valdez is also the recipient of the 2010 Imagen Award for Best Supporting Actor in La Mission, opposite Benjamin Bratt. In addition, he's taking his skills behind the scenes having produced his first feature, Dreamer and has several other projects in development.
Valdez, born in New Mexico, attended school in Arizona and came to Los Angeles where he began working almost immediately. His first bookings were national commercials for brands such as Coca Cola, McDonalds, Six Flags, Verizon and Toys R Us.
Valdez continued to hone his acting skills, landing his first network television guest-starring role on Family Law. Since then, Valdez has had recurring roles on hit TV shows including ER, Veronica Mars, Medical Investigation, American Family and guest starring roles on 24, CSI: NY, JAG, The Mentalist, CSI: Miami, Without A Trace, The Closer, Longmire and others. The FOX.com web series The Rookie, a spin-off of 24, starred Valdez as a young Jack Bauer for three seasons. Valdez's talents extend beyond film and television and are showcased in his musical abilities. He was raised in a family of musicians and began studying music at the age of 10. Jeremy studied at the Musician's Institute and he currently plays guitar for various artists in and around Los Angeles. He is also an active charity volunteer, Valdez is involved with Autism Speaks, The National Hispanic Foundation For The Arts, GLAAD and was picked by Michelle Obama to take part with her in her Read Across America campaign.

Upon graduating with honors from Brunswick High School in 2016, Lexie was admitted to the academically selective Purchase College-SUNY, but chose to defer and move to California to seriously pursue her acting and singing career. After just seven months in Los Angeles, Lexie booked her first major role as "Mattie" on the CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless.
Lexie also stays busy serving on the advisory board for the Endometriosis Foundation of America. Both her and her mother suffer from the disorder and it almost took Lexie’s life when she was only 17. At the time it had wrapped her small intestine into the size of a golf ball which led to severe pain for about 4 years until a doctor at the Boston Women's hospital finally diagnosed her with endometriosis. Lexie’s goal on the advisory board is to bring more awareness to the disorder.

Emma Norton gets real about social media, how she grew her TikTok, and the audition that inspired it all!
About Emma Norton:
For Denver native Emma Norton, film and Broadway have always held a special place in her heart. Her family tree includes the famous Lilian Norton, known as Madame Nordica, who was a Metropolitan opera singer and the first model for Coca-Cola. As a little girl, her grandmother would take Norton to Broadway shows such as Wicked, Mean Girls, and The Little Mermaid, to name just a few and this is where her passion for performing was born. Norton began participating in her school and local theatre. She also began taking dance classes, where she trained in lyrical, jazz, hip hop, ballet, contemporary and modern. From this point on, Norton knew she was destined for a career in entertainment.
To pursue her dreams of acting, Norton made numerous trips to Los Angeles and began working through acting camps, taking intensive training courses, and meeting with established acting coaches. In 2017, she was cast as the lead role of Kel Young in Cattle Call, a short comedy film directed by Rondell Sheridan. Her acting career took an unexpected turn when she discovered a new creative outlet to showcase her talents.
During the COVID-19 stay-at-home orders, Norton was inspired by the versatility of the wildly popular app TikTok and began creating original content. In less than a year, the 17-year-old has gone viral with a verified account of over 6 million followers and over 100 million likes. Norton is known for her comedy lip-syncing as well as choreographed dances and skits using special effects makeup. Her popularity has earned her recognition in well-known media outlets such access Access Hollywood, ET! Canada, and Nylon Magazine to name a few, where she spoke about using her influence to inspire positivity and spread awareness of societal issues.
When she is not making new videos for TikTok, Norton enjoys helping others and strives to use her emerging stardom to give back. She is passionate about Charity Water, an organization that works to provide clean and safe water to communities around the world that don’t have access to it. She also supports Brought to Reality, a clothing brand focused on teen mental health and ending the stigma around mental illness. In her spare time, Norton enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling, and cuddling with her beloved Golden Retriever, Ruby.

Thomas Nicholas, a long time member of the Screen Actor's Guild and ASCAP, recently joined the Producers Guild of America while producing and acting in his current film, Adverse, a Neo-noir suspense/drama with a large ensemble cast that includes Academy Award® Nominee Mickey Rourke, Academy Award® Nominee Sean Astin, Golden Globe® Nominee Lou Diamond Phillips, Golden Globe® Nominee Penelope Ann Miller, Matt Ryan, Jake T. About Adam McArthur:
Growing up as an 80’s kid, McArthur was always inspired by the classic cartoons on TV. He was always begging his parents for an agent to combine his love for cartoons, acting and voice overs. At the age of 16, he finally got his chance and started taking acting classes in San Francisco. His talent quickly grabbed the attention of an agent and went on to book 30 radio commercials over the course of one summer for Macy’s.
McArthur is currently the lead voice of Marco Diaz in the hit Disney XD animated comedy series Star vs.the Forces of Evil. His character is a misunderstood bad boy who befriends Star Butterfly, played by Eden Sher. Marco helps protect the magical princess and her family’s heirloom wand while being pulled into an adventure of a lifetime with his new friend. The voice cast also features Jeffrey Tambor as “Glossaryck”, and Jenny Slate as “Pony Head”. The show was recently ranked as one of Google’s “Top Trending Comedy TV Shows of 2017” and the third season is airing now. The series has also garnered critical acclaim, earning three Annie Award nominations and one Behind the Voice Actors Award. About Matty Cardarople:
Matty Cardarople has always wanted to be an entertainer. Born and raised in Exeter, New Hampshire, Cardarople fueled his creative passion by entertaining friends and family with his comedic skills. After moving to Los Angeles, he studied acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse and has been perfecting his craft studying with Lesly Kahn. Ultimately Cardarople was discovered by Luke and Owen Wilson who gave him his career start with roles in the feature films Blonde Ambition and Drillbit Taylor.
Cardarople went on to appear in the blockbuster hits Jurassic World and Dumb and Dumber To, where he worked with his childhood idol, Jim Carrey, whom he cites as his career inspiration. Cardarople quickly continued to add to his credits roles in the indie comedy The 4th, the critically-acclaimed Amazon rom-com The Big Sick, the Steven Soderbergh-directed film Logan Lucky and other films such as Itsy Bitsy and I am Woman.

And his impressive success continues. Cardarople has been cast in the highly-anticipated second and third season of the Netflix instant classic Stranger Things. Mark McKinnon is an American actor originally from Waldorf, MD. Known for playing the role of Derik Dubois in BET Her Presents: The Waiting Room (2019). Other credits include recurring roles in Blue Bloods (2010) and FBI (2018). In High School, sports were McKinnon's world. Despite being a multi-sport athlete (Football, Basketball, Cross Country), McKinnon still found time to pursue the arts. He originally dreamed of becoming a professional football player. However, after landing a lead role in his high school play, he was inspired to pursue a professional acting career. In fact, to pursue this dream, he turned down several football scholarships and attended the prestigious Howard University in Washington, DC to study Theatre Arts with a concentration in Acting.
