Nick and Schmidt celebrate 10 years of living together in this week's New Girl episode, "TinFinity"!
Jenn (@notajenny) and Jaime (@jaimepoland) are back and have a lot to say about the way the show portrays the friendship between these two, how Nick and Schmidt's dynamic has shifted since college, and the way their conflict escalates and resolves.
The two then discuss how this episode progresses the Shivrang/Cece story and the way the both feel about the engagement. Plus they talk about Jess' desire to kiss Jax (guest star/forever associated with Reba in our minds, Steve Howey) to stop thinking about Nick, and Winston's role in that particular storyline.

The romance part of the tragically cancelled ABC rom-com series, Selfie, begins to spark a little bit. It's time to talk about "Even Hell Has Two Bars"!
Jenn (@notajenny) and Chels (@chels725) unpack the workplace part of this workplace comedy first, talking about the differences between Eliza and Henry. They then discuss how Eliza spent the entire episode trying to help Henry, only for him to insult her. They discuss flawed characters, and how to navigate work relationships and dynamics.

We're finally back at Apartment 4D... just in time for the roommates to squabble over a parking spot. That's right: We're talking about the hilarious, aptly titled episode, "Parking Spot" today!

It's a new year but we're back talking about our favorite residents of Apartment 4D. Let's dive back into New Girl with "Table 34," shall we?
Jenn (@notajenny) and Jaime (@jaimepoland) have a lot of thoughts about the episode that picks up right where "Cooler" left off. They talk about the way the episode struggles to find something for Winston to do, why the Schmidt/Cece of it all feels slightly off and Schmidt's character regression. They also bid farewell (for a few seasons at least) to Dr. Sam and discuss the new awkwardness that Nick and Jess have around each other.

It's the end of 2025 and we've finally made it to our last episode about New Girl's "Cooler" β and this time we're talking solely about that iconic Nick/Jess first kiss.
Jenn (@notajenny) and Jaime (@jaimepoland) obviously have a lot of thoughts about what makes this kiss so unanimously hot and beloved. So they dive into the specifics of the way the kiss is shot and choreographed, praising everyone who works behind the scenes to make romance look... well, incredibly romantic!
They then talk about why it's so important that one of New Girl's most memorable moments is a romance-forward one and they watch the kiss in real-time to unpack all of their thoughts and feelings β as well as new things they notice still, 12 years later.

Who's ready to talk more about ABC's tragically cancelled series, Selfie?
Jenn (@notajenny) and Chels (@chels725) have returned to talk about an episode that focuses a lot on Charmonique and her son, Kevin: "Nugget of Wisdom"! They discuss Academy Award winner Da'Vine Joy Randolph's performance in this episode β and why we should all aspire to have the kind of self-love Charmonique does. The duo spends a lot of time unpacking the startlingly apropos advice that a 2014 show has for us about social media perceptions and work-life balance in 2025.
Jenn and Chels conclude by talking about why there needs to be more romance on television and movies and debate the best dipping sauces for chicken nuggets.

Who's ready to talk all about the second half (and by that, we mean basically just 8 minutes) of New Girl's iconic "Cooler" episode?
Jenn (@notajenny) and Jaime (@jaimepoland) are back again and they have so many feelings to talk through! They discuss the kind of odd Schmidt/Cece interaction and what it means for their story the rest of the season. Plus they discuss how fun it is to see Winston banter with Daisy.

Welcome back to our Selfie summer/fall series where we're rewatching the tragically cancelled ABC series!
Jenn (@notajenny) and Chels (@chels725) have returned to unpack two episodes of the show: "Un-tag My Heart" and "A Little Yelp From My Friends."
First, they discuss the hold that Facebook had over us all in 2014, as well as Henry realizing that life happened and his friends from college moved on while he was working at the office. They also talk about Eliza's story and what it meant to them rewatching in 2025 with a plot that called out slut-shaming. Plus they discuss the introduction of Freddy and the ending of the first episode (Henry rushing to the hospital! Henry being jealous!).
Then they talk about workplace friendships and relationships, how bad Eliza and Henry really are at making meaningful, emotional connections with people who are not each other, why we love Charmonique so much, and the very sweet end to "A Little Yelp From My Friends."

It's time for a blast into the past: specifically back to 2014 when ABC debuted a tragically cancelled TV series called Selfie.
Jenn (@notajenny) and Chels (@chels725) were huge fans of the short-lived show and decided to revisit it this summer. So stay tuned as they cover all 13 episodes. To kick things off though, they talk about the series' pilot.
The cohosts spend the first part of the episode taking a trip back to a simpler time, reflecting on what it was like to watch pilot seasons unfold, as well as posting on social media and watching episodes along with the casts of your favorite TV shows. They also talk about ABC's lineup of great shows with regrettable titles (including this one).
The two then get into the premise of the show itself, discuss how the pilot functions as a Pygmalion/My Fair Lady adaptation, swoon over John Cho as a pitch-perfect romantic lead, talk about the lovely and versatile Karen Gillan, and then end discussing why the show technically had two pilots and the differences between what aired live and what made it onto Hulu.

Jenn (@notajenny) and Chels (@chels725) are back one last time to talk about their beloved (and now tragically cancelled) series, Mythic Quest.
On their "Heaven and Hell" recap, they talked about that game-changing final scene featuring Ian and Poppy kissing. But now that the ending has changed, Jenn and Chels process how they feel about the original ending's erasure. They also discuss television series cancellations in general, "lost" media, what kind of precedent changing an ending of a cancelled show could create for showrunners in the future, and why people should still watch Mythic Quest even though it won't be returning for another season.
They then daydream what could have been for a season five, and end by playing a fun game of selecting currently running TV shows they'd like to transport the Mythic Quest crew into.

Jenn (@notajenny) and Chels (@chels725) have a lot to say! (Jenn was an excellent secret-keeper. π€) They start by talking about the hilarious new role that Jo has been "demoted" to and what Brad's decision regarding Anna reveals about his character growth.
They spend the majority of their time unpacking Ian and Poppy's relationship: how Ian talks her down from a panic attack and pushes her to go to the Netherlands, their airport goodbye, and the reveal that Ian never actually resigned from Mythic Quest.
Of course, they then walk through Ian's grand romantic gesture and that game-changing finale kiss, with Chels processing how she feels about it in real time! Spoiler alert: We really just love emotionally messy characters!
They then pitch what they'd love to see in a season five, and conclude the podcast by choosing their episode and season MVPs.

In the past, our teens are dealing with the fallout of the wilderness' choice. Coach Ben tries to convince Teen Natalie to leave the group and come with him to Javi's hideout. Teen Misty gaslights Teen Lottie into thinking the ritual was her idea, leading Lottie to crown a new leader. Plus, our teens narrowly escape death yet again as Coach Ben burns their shelter to the ground.
Meanwhile, our adults are humoring Adult Lottie and go along with the ritual while secretly planning on having her committed. Walter ropes Jeff into helping him get rid of Officer Kevyn at the compound, while Van and Taissa call off the crisis team. The Adult Yellowjackets go through with the ritual, with Callie and Lisa stumbling upon them as tragedy strikes.

Secrets are spilled with our adults as Shauna's crimes begin catching up with her. Our core four spill their misdeeds to Van and Lottie, leading to more discoveries and exposed truths. Meanwhile, Jeff shares some of Shauna's trauma with Callie in the hope that she'll understand her mother better.

Chels (@Chels725), Sharai (@MissSharai), and Jesse (@speakupjesse) are joined by Emmy nominee Alrinthea Carter (@Alrinthea) to recap the mystery on this season's Yellowjackets.
Our adults have fully Avengers Assembled at Lottie's compound and find themselves doing therapy and confronting some of the trauma of the wilderness. Shauna is tasked with mothering a baby goat, Misty takes a hallucinatory trip in the isolation tank, and Van and Tai are honest with each other. Meanwhile, Lottie has a realization about her therapist that throws her for a loop, and the girls let loose at a bonfire.
Our teens, on the other hand, are going through it. With the blizzard calming down, the girls are digging themselves out of the cabin and Misty has them on a wild goose chase looking for Crystal. Van admits her fears to Tai, and Tai reveals to Lottie that she's stopped having visits from Other Tai since she's joined her little rituals. Plus, Coach Ben is talked off the ledge, and Shauna buries her baby and takes out her rage on one of her teammates.

It's the episode we've all been waiting for as Teen Shauna goes into labor. Akilah is forced to step up when Misty freezes, and Tai and Natalie support their friend. Lottie gets into her wilderness bag with Travis to "help" with the birth and things get very Rosemary's Baby.
Meanwhile, Adult Shauna and her daughter Callie are interrogated by the police, while Jeff receives an urgent call from Tai and Van about Lottie's whereabouts. Natalie is on the edge, forcing her new bestie Lisa to make her responsible, and our avengers finally assemble.
Plus, we get flashbacks to a useless Coach Ben teaching health class and Adult Misty is the queen bee of the commune.

Chels (@Chels725), Sharai (@MissSharai), and Jesse (@speakupjesse) are joined by Doc J this week by to recap the mystery on this season of Yellowjackets.
Things are getting wild in both timelines, with Shauna's daughter finally discovering her new boyfriend is a policeman and Shauna having to throw him off her tracks. Tai reveals to Van that her sleepwalking has returned, and Van gets a visit from Other Tai. Misty and Walter track down Natalie, who turns them away... but that doesn't slow Misty down. Plus, Lottie takes Natalie on a trip.
Back in the woods, Lottie's mediation sessions cause a rift between Shauna and Tai, as Shauna fears she's losing Tai to Lottie's religion. Javi refuses to speak to the teens but gives Coach Ben an ominous message. Misty and Crystal shares secrets with each other, and Misty overshares. And an argument between Shauna and Tai leads to them getting lost in a snowstorm with Shauna going into labor!

In the past, our teens are unhappy with Natalie's hunting abilities and currently favor Lottie's mystical cultish ways, pitting the two girls against each other in a hunting contest. Meanwhile, Van enables Other Tai and the two find a mysterious person in the woods.
In the present day, Tai is hitchhiking and ends up meeting an old friend from the past. After forgiving her for the stabbing, cult member Lisa bonds with Natalie and takes her to visit her mother, while Misty works on tracking them down. Plus, Shauna finally confesses the truth to her daughter about Adam's death.

In the past, our teens are dealing with the consequences of their feast, with Teen Tai unable to remember what happened and Teen Natalie cleaning up the remains. Teen Lottie helps Shauna through her guilt and, with the help of the other girls, throws Shauna a baby shower to mixed results.
In the present day, Adult Tai is dealing with the ramifications of the car crash and Misty partners with Elijah Wood to investigate Natalie's kidnapping. Lottie makes Natalie participate in some of her healing classes, forcing Natalie to confront the woman she stabbed. Adult Shauna tries to work on her marriage but a carjacking brings out her inner beast, and we're left wondering what else she did in the woods.
Plus, the podcasting crew takes a quiz to figure out which Yellowjackets character they are.

The queens step into Kevin Bacon's boots for a timely Wigloose: The Rusical all about drag being banned in a small town and the underground alliance that tries to defeat the bigots. While this episode was filmed last summer, the queens dive into the drag bans and other real threats that are currently happening.
Over on the runway, our fringed country bumpkin Orville Peck joins our judges for an "everybody say glove"-themed runway, and the judges ask our queens the dreaded question: "Who should go home?" We conclude with a terrible lip sync to an incredible song, and we're left with our final five.

We've finally reached the end of season three, which means it's time to discuss "Introduction to Finality"! And there is certainly a lot to unpack in what could have easily been the series finale of Community.
