He also completed his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Doctor of Ministry degrees (D.Min.) at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma with a Specialization in Church Ministry and Leadership.

22-1004 The god of This World? (2 Cor. 4:4) Dr. Cawthorn teaches that many today in the church take for granted that Paul was actually referring to Satan as the "God of this age" which isn’t clear. Nevertheless, there are problems with this view. A closer analysis of the passage in its immediate and overall contexts indicates that Paul actually had the true God in view, not Satan. Paul was stating that it is the one true God who blinds the minds of the unbelievers (by withholding regeneration) as a just consequence of their obstinate rebellion and sin. Doctors of the church like Saint Augustine taught the same.

20-0623 St. John Fisher Bishop & Martyr (Feast Day June 22)
John Fisher (c. 19 October 1469 â 22 June 1535) was an English Catholic bishop, cardinal, and theologian. Fisher was also an academic, and eventually served as Chancellor of the University of Cambridge. He was canonized a saint by Pope Pius XI.
Fisher was executed by order of Henry VIII during the English Reformation for refusing to accept him as the supreme head of the Church of England and for upholding the Catholic Church's doctrine of papal supremacy. He was named a cardinal shortly before his death. He is honoured as a martyr and saint by the Catholic Church. He shares his feast day with Thomas More on 22 June in the Catholic calendar of saints and on 6 July in that of the Church of England.

Quarantine, then, ties into the custom of "keeping the fast in Lent" as part of the holy observance of the season from its very beginnings. We link the "40 days of Lent" with the "40 days" Jesus spent in the wilderness in prayer and fasting, with the inference that for those who would follow Jesus, Lent is a parallel experience. Therefore, "Lent" is a penitential season in "Quarantine!"

In the 1660's, this was a period a ship suspected of carrying disease is kept in isolation," from Italian "quaranta giorni," literally meaning a "space of forty days," from quaranta "forty," from Latin "quadraginta" "forty," which is related to quattuor "four." It was so called from the Venetian policy (first enforced in 1377) of keeping ships from plague-stricken countries waiting off its port for "40 days" to assure that no latent cases were aboard. The extended sense of "any period of forced isolation" is from the 1670's.

21-0127 - Quarantine: What You Need to Know! (Part 1). Dr. Cawthorn covers the etymology of the word "Quarantine." The idea of the special nature of the 40 days is reflected in the English word quarantine. In the 1660's, a ship suspected of carrying disease is kept in isolation. It comes from the Italian "quaranta giorni," which literally means a "space of forty days," from quaranta "forty," from Latin quadraginta "forty," which is related to quattuor. So called from the Venetian policy (first enforced in 1377) of keeping ships from plague-stricken countries waiting off its port for 40 days to assure that no latent cases were aboard. It is the greatest tool he has. If he can convince you that it is o.k. to have bitterness and keep it, and that you have a right to feel that way, then you will absolutely circumvent all of the work of God in your spirit.
What does offense become then? It becomes the trigger point of all spiritual maturity. It becomes the critical point, the center point of all spiritual maturation. If I am ever to be mature, get strong, be powerful in ministry, do what God has called me to do, I will learn to use the power of offense. If I fail, or get angry, it will all be because of offense.
Offense is the pivotal place where all glorious things happen in my life and
all tragedies. It has the unique ability to be the catalyst for my success and
the very reason for my failure. It is the very same thing.
However, there is "A LAW" somewhere. Would you be interested in finding it? If I can learn what that "law" is, and come into relationship with that law and alignment with that law, then NOTHING can offend me anymore.
