Eli Manning and Derek Jeter will forever be intertwined as their careers coincided with multiple championships in the same city at the same time. They also drew in an entire generation to New York Sports in the late '90s-00s. My childhood was spent doing not much else other than watching these two excel in their sports and in their cities. While one just retired from the NFL and the other was just unanimously* inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame, I finally take time to appreciate the careers they had, and the influence they had on my life.
