Episode Highlights:
In this episode, Analisa interviews Molly Noerenberg, a singer, performer, and life coach. Molly shares her background in music, including her education at Carnegie Mellon and NYU, and her transition from performing to becoming a full-time voice teacher and now life and embodiment coach.
The discussion then explores Molly's discovery of the Ishtara moving meditation practice, which helped her reconnect with her body and emotions during a period of emotional heaviness, even as she was achieving her professional goals. Molly shares how this practice allowed her to honor her feelings and find a new direction in her work.
A key focus of the conversation is Molly's current voice work, which involves "authentic voice calls" - one-on-one sessions where clients sing on mute, exploring vibration and sound without worrying about technique or performance. Molly explains how she integrates coaching lessons into these voice experiences, helping clients drop rules and restrictions around self-expression.
Not just for those who identify as âsingersâ, Molly emphasizes that anyone with a voice can use it for healing and self-discovery. She discusses techniques like the "song bath" to make voice exploration approachable for those who may not identify as singers.
The other major and impactful conversation is around letting go of oneâs dreams. Molly shares, incredibly vulnerably, her fertility journey, going into a dark time, and the process of surrendering.
Throughout the interview, Molly reflects on her own journey of rediscovering her love for singing, the role of surrender and self-love in her personal growth, and the impact of motherhood and loss on her development. She emphasizes the importance of self-nurturing and making space for one's needs, and the potential for future collaboration with the host.

Episode Highlights:
In this episode of the Soulful Ambition podcast, host Analisa Leaming explores the concept of shadow work, drawing on Carl Jung's theories and her personal experiences. She emphasizes the importance of consciously engaging with the parts of ourselves we typically avoid or dislike, rather than solely focusing on positive thinking or our ideal self-image. Analisa suggests personifying and getting to know our shadow aspects, similar to how we might embody our "main character energy" or ideal self.
The podcast discusses two main practices for shadow work: noticing when we're in a shadow aspect and gently acknowledging it, and intentionally embodying and expressing the shadow aspect in a safe space. Analisa shares personal examples, including her "mother martyr" shadow aspect to illustrate how this work can be applied in daily life. She emphasizes that this work allows for more conscious choices and integration of all parts of ourselves.
Throughout the episode, Analisa highlights how shadow work can increase self-compassion and understanding of others. She encourages listeners to apply these concepts to areas in their lives where they're experiencing resistance or struggling to achieve desired results.
The host concludes by mentioning that the upcoming Soulful Ambition Circle program will involve this type of shadow work as participants pursue their deepest desires, and emphasizes how this practice can lead to personal growth, better relationships, and a more authentic connection with our true selves.

In this conversation, Asil shares his personal journey of self-discovery and transformation. He discusses his background in advertising and marketing and how he felt a lack of alignment and fulfillment in his life. Asil talks about questioning the purpose of his existence and seeking a deeper connection to spirit and himself. He shares his experience of communicating with light beings and becoming a conduit for higher levels of consciousness.
Analisa opens up about her own struggles with depression, lack of sleep, and a dark night of the soul. She shares the desire to shed the old way of doing things and the questioning of everything in her life. Asil reassures her that she is not alone in her experiences and leads her into a powerful discovery of true presence.
The purpose of life is to awaken the true self, the soul, and to play different roles in the grand play of existence. Rather than vilifying or questioning past roles, we should see them as unique aspects of our journey. We have the power to change our roles and stories, as we are the writer, conductor, director, and actor of our own play.
The awakening process begins with deep presence and alignment, allowing the energy of creation to flow through us. Service is not limited to external achievements, but starts with our presence and existence. When we align internally, everything else falls into place.

Welcome to Soulful Ambition, formerly known as A Balancing Act, Analisa's latest iteration of her work in the world.
Soulful Ambition explores what it means to live inside out and go after our deepest longings. Soulful Ambition might sound contradictory at first⌠Because weâve let society define ambition as striving for individual success, monetary gain, and personal achievements. But thatâs not what the soul really craves. In each episode, weâre calling back the parts of ourselves conditioned to societyâs grind and external pressure. And awakening the longing in your chest that is so big it threatens to swallow you whole. So you can shine unapologetically, source from within, and move towards your big, wild dreams. Not to become a manifesting babe/bro striving for individual success, but because your dreams are your destined path and the medicine that the world needs.

⨠Eleri's journey from musical theatre showcase to critically acclaimed recording artist + finding HER voice
⨠Having "Healthy Delusion" in the entertainment + theatre industry
⨠Cultivating an indestructible core
⨠The power of not taking anything personally
⨠Reframing being told "You Don't Fit/We don't understand you"
Analisa stumbled across this reel of Eleri's on Instagram and was blown away by her story and her talent. She was thrilled to sit down with her and learn about her journey from her musical theatre showcase at Boston Conservatory where she didn't receive an offer from an agent to recording and producing her full length indie-folk Sondheim album, âA Perfect Little Death,â in her closet.
After gaining a viral TikTok following, it was released by Ghostlight Records and has been hailed as âa harmonious marriage of musical theater and indie folk music, with hauntingly beautiful arrangementsâ by Forbes and âan incandescent new record, something genuinely newâ from American Theater Magazine.
Eleri speaks to the mindset that allows her to show up fully and unapologetically. She shares the pitfalls she sees in the musical theatre industry where it's easy to give up your power and self-belief and the necessity to build and maintain and indestructible core. This episode is a jampacked with motivation, inspiration and encouragement for owning your unique voice and path and believing in yourself no matter what. It's a perfect episode to have bookmarked before auditions or in a time when you need a reminder of claiming your own greatness. Follow Eleri

Dec. 29th Event: Harvesting Wisdom, Planting Dreams: A Soulful Approach to Year-End Reflections and Intentions
In today's episode Analisa is talking about something no one likes talking about publicly, especially in our shiny-only-post-the-highlights-social-media world.
Have you ever gotten the thing you were desiring (a gig, a job, a raise, etc.) only to feel disappointed, let down, or disillusioned afterwards? Not that this feeling lasts, necessarily, but sometimes it can be quite jarring!
If you're listening along this season you know one of the biggest themes has been accepting our humanity. So just naming this as it arises is powerful. Normalizing it, too. This is a very common experience.
This can be incredibly liberating. No gig is perfect. No contract is the answer to all of your problems. Our baseline level of wellbeing will return.
So the aim of this short minisode is that it will leave you pondering how to be more sourced from within, not waiting for something "out there" to embody the light that you are. Be "full of yourself" today. Dance with creativity. Laugh. Cry. Live Awake.

How can folks healing from trauma engage with their feelings and body sensations safelyâsomething weâre asked to do every day as actors? Whatâs the difference between brain-based and body-based healing modalities and practices? How does having these skills show up in our daily lives and careers?
Itâs a beautiful conversation between two smart and soulful creativesâlisten as they marry the ideas of trauma-informed emotional resiliency with the neuroscience behind memory and grief, and share how diving deep into these ideas is further enriched by their spiritual practices. In this wide-ranging interview with Cara Kovacs, the Business Witch, we dive deep into service, and the business side of sharing our passion. Analisa and Cara cover many angles:
Episode Summary
In this episode, Analisa interviews Cara Kovacs, the Business Witch. There are so many gems in this conversation, which covers the intersection of passion and pragmatism. How can we allow our passions to inform our pursuit of success? How can we redefine success on our own terms, instead of just accepting what the world tells us? Where is the line between wanting something and clinging to it? What are the hang ups keeping artists from building wealth? As Analisa points out, scarcity mindset comes from SCARS; it is up to us to heal around them. It is about choosing to look at where you are held. It is about becoming well-resourced for the good of all.

In this solo episode, we dive deep into what it means to set our Goals with our Soul. Itâs a skill to be able to cultivate structure from within, versus needing and then resenting external systems. How can we have both freedom to create and grounded connection to the systems in our lives? Itâs about finding the sacred in the mundane.
So, how can we use daily habits to harness our big wild dreams instead of it just being a drag? We give ourselves a specific timeline (12 weeks) and pick small achievable changes to make. Not following through on goals we set for ourselves has great ramifications on our self worth, and the number one reason we donât follow through is picking things that are too big.
What are the micro steps in our day to day that really matter? Analisa digs into the nitty gritty of our small daily habits, talking through the life of a working performer, investigating what small daily goals we can set that will support our biggest, wildest dreams.

In today's solo episode Analisa explores the importance of cultivating awareness of thoughts and feelings for creatives.
Creatives tend to be more emotionally aware, but often they are more emotionally reactive and are still stuck in very limiting thoughts.
Through developing the capacity to notice and sit with uncomfortable emotions, you will be able to bust through current limiting beliefs.
There are no bad emotions - they all have gems of wisdom.
Analisa shares a tangible practice for how to metabolize the emotion and then to begin to shift our stories.
She also shares a huge reason why we resist this work and how to love our way through it.

Today I am talking to John Tartaglia!
A 10-year veteran of "Sesame Street," Tartaglia is one of the youngest puppeteers ever to perform on the show, starting at the age of 16. John originated the roles of Princeton and Rod in Avenue Q and was Tony nominated for Best Lead Actor in a Musical. Other Broadway Credits include: Beauty and the Beast and Shrek. Off-Broadway he wrote and created John Tartagliaâs ImaginOcean. He created the TV series Johnny and the Sprites on Playhouse Disney and Splash and Bubbles for PBS Kids.
John tells us his unique story of getting started in the industry at such a young age. We talk about imposter syndrome, shutting out the noise, and how nothing in this career is formulaic. âHave a dream. Have an expectation. Have a want but donât be afraid to take the winding unexpected path to get there.â Instagram/Twitter: @johnnytartags

It means if youâve always had an interest in yoga, film making, circus, crystals, etc - take a workshop, class, watch youtube tutorials to nurture your curiosity.

Thomas Jones, creator of the Paradox Process, is my therapist and todayâs conversation is one for the books! We talk about the healing modality Thomas uses and how it came to be. In psychotherapy the idea is that if you change your thinking you will change the way you feel. Thomas believes that if you take the feelings away your thoughts collapse. We discuss how you can actually change your personality!! You donât have to accept your âissuesâ for what they are.
We then begin speaking about manifesting your dreams. First, you have to believe they are possible. There is also a different energy in wanting something badly and then already acting as if you have it. Thomas speaks on the secret of detaching from your dreams, itâs okay to have them, but itâs in the the needing of them that gets us in trouble.
Lastly, Thomas describes how to visualize and explains the profound effects it can have on your life.

In this short and sweet episode, I share with you my belief that we are all Stars and the importance of lighting up from within rather than waiting for someone to give us permission to shine.
You'll hear all about the purpose behind the upcoming online workshop:
What itâs for:
We all want to be a star. We all want to shine our light generously, unapologetically everywhere we go. When we are in our star power we are filled up from the inside --- we donât look to others for validation, weâre inspired, weâre giving, weâre beautiful, and weâre a magnet for our dreams.
This 2-hour interactive workshop will be a deep dive into your own power. Youâll discover the thoughts that are holding you back and then create a new story. Youâll receive tools and practices designed to support you in shining your light + manifesting your dreams.
Who itâs for:
Anyone who is waiting to be a star.
Whether youâre waiting for your equity card, an agent, your Broadway debut or Tony award - you feel like something is missing and that youâre not where youâre supposed to be.

Todayâs episode is a beautiful, fun, high-vibrational conversation with Broadway performer and Broadway Life Coach, Bret Shuford.
He gets vulnerable whilst sharing about his sobriety and how it has helped with boundaries, loving and accepting himself, and being of service.
This leads to a deep dive into sobriety and addiction from alcohol to sugar to social media and how weâre not getting what we really need. Once we address the core needs that arenât being met life opens up in ways we only dream of. Sobriety led to Bretâs first Broadway show. Giving up sugar has brought me incredible ease and freedom.
Bret then opens up about his favorite failure, entrepreneurship, and how he stays in alignment.

Maria Failla is unique from many of my other guests thus far in that she is not a Broadway veteran or master teacher. She considers herself still in the trenches going to open calls, waiting for her big break, and navigating agents. I couldnât wait to share this episode because she has such a beautiful outlook on the journey and how she maintains balance amongst this crazy Biz. Sheâs the opposite of a victim and is so open and vulnerable in todayâs conversation.
We begin by sharing both of our introductions to âThe Secretâ and then a juicy, rich convo unfolds filled with tangible steps towards a life of âLESS HUSTLE, MORE JOY.â
