We can call abortion murder because we know a God that redeems murderers. These women do not claim to be victims but repentant children of God reconciled by the blood of Christ. Abortion is not the unforgivable sin. Often women who've had abortions do not come before the cross with Godly sorrow and a contrite heart but with a worldly sorrow that leads to death. Today pastor's often won't preach from the pulpit about the sin of abortion. Not when 1 in 4 women by the age of 40, have murdered their preborn child. How can women know the freedom from the bondage of guilt and shame unless they are repentant and acknowledge that abortion is sin, abortion is murder? There's forgiveness for the sin of abortion found in Christ alone. I had an abortion and I am #notavictim but a repentant murderer redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Often times Christians will reject the notion that the Church needs to repent of her apathy regarding abortion. Many Christians take great offense to the abolitonist project, Church Repent. Is it unbiblical for faithful Christians to stand outside the church building with signs and literature, pleading with other Christians to love their preborn neighbor? They've been contending with cyber bullying, threats of violence and extreme vulgarity all over social media. All this the fallout from the afternoon in friont of STEM academy. There they were met with aggression and vulgarity, by the Assistant Principal Zach Ruff, when they attempted to exercise their First Ammendement rights on a public sidewalk in front of the school. Now that AP is on paid administrative leave for his, to put it mildly, unprofessional behavior. What do the students, parents and faculty have to say? We also discuss ACHA as it relates to abortion, and we can't help but to touch on the misled call to defund Planed Parenthood.

My intention was to update everyone last week, since then, there was a hearing by the State Affairs Comittee on the mostly useless House Bill 200. Did you hear about the woman who was arrested for trying to film that hearing? We will talk about the tyrannical treatment of Amy Hedtke and more then that, the dictator type control of the room with which Rep. Byron Cook ruled the hearing.
There's a great article co-authored by abolitionists on the Personhood Strategy at www.aawi.com (We took a look at the webpage last week. Many abolitionists were once in the fight for Personhood before turning their focus to total abolition. We will briefly touch on the Personhood Strategy as I'd like to discuss it more in depth, in a future broadcast.
Let's talk about the Great Commission and abolitionism. Is abolitionism just a 'cause' that we should not be holding the Church accountable to 'fight'? Is it the focus of the Church to change the culture or just keep 'the main thing the main thing'?

The Widows Mite
Scripture is filled with admonition to defend and care for the widow and the orphan. What does it really mean to defend and care for the widow.
To do otherwise is akin to idolatry according to the prophet Jeremiah. The admonition comes with a promise that you will dwell in the Land God has promised to you, the land given to your fathers. It also comes with a stern warning attached, "But if you will not obey these words, I swear by Myself," declares the LORD, "that this house will become a desolation."

VISION:
The Vision of the Indianapolis Ten Point Coalition is to be a catalyst for creating a strategic vision, programmatic structure, and financial resources necessary to save lives of at risk youth from crisis such as violence, drugs, teen-age pregnancy, and chronic unemployment.
TARGET
The target are youth 14-24 years of age in selected "hot spots" or high at risk areas. These areas have been deemed "high risk" due to the number of homicides that occur in the area.
METHOD
Method is to engage high risk youth, drug dealers, and gang bangers in order to encourage them to leave a life of crime and violence and make healthier life choices. We do this by employing Street Outreach workers who engage these high risk individuals in a variety of venues including faith walks, homicide scenes, and funerals.
