RETIRING on your property portfolio may be easier than you think and could cost as little as a cup of coffee a day, according to an Adelaide-based investor George Markoski.
But thereâs one catch. If youâve been chasing the great Aussie dream of living in your own home, youâre about to be disappointed. According to Adelaide local and author of Positive Property Blueprint, George Markoski, successful property investment doesnât start with the purchase of a family home, but rather an investment property.
George Markoski retired on a property portfolio of 10 properties at age 37, and a passive annual income of $180,000. When George first started investing in property, he accumulated five houses, but soon realised that it takes more than just buying property to get ahead. He had invested in the wrong areas and it was beginning to take its toll. He was working seven days a week, trying to pay off the mortgages, using old-school negative gearing methods. He knew there had to be a better way.
He finally came up with a way of buying the right kind of properties, in the right kind of areas for only $30 a week, the cost of only one cup of coffee a day. This method became known as The Positive Property Blueprint.
The benefits of buying an investment property are enormous but you still need to really learn how to do it, during this podcast George discusses the three main secrets to his success, and how to continue making money in property no matter what happens in the economy. "Fk positivity," Mark Manson says. "Letâs be honest, shit is fked and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Mason doesnât sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it isâa dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today.â Itâs not about not caring; no thatâs not what itâs about at all. Dry fasting is a total abstinence from both food and water for a defined time. Dry fasting in a powerful tool used to fight premature aging, disease and promotes prolonging life. When the amazing healing powers of dry fasting is explained it makes perfect sense. The common belief and misconception is that humans can only survive three days or so without water. You might be surprised to learn that therapeutic dry fasts can last as long as five, seven, nine, even ten days. So what actually happens to the body when you dry fast? The cessation of both external food and water creates a special kind of stress in the body, prompting it urgently to come up with both nutrients and water, initiating the process of making both internally. During a dry fast, the body survives on endogenous or metabolic water, produced internally as a result of metabolizing fat tissue. Unlike any exogenous water, this metabolic water is of superb quality, produced by the hard work of our own cells. It literally erases any negative information imprint which the body had before the fast, allowing cells to experience a kind of a rebirth, as a result. Dry fasting also eliminates parasites and promotes regeneration of healthy tissues. And this isnât even a complete list of benefits. Every cell the body literally cleans house. Only the strongest and healthiest of cells survive in such extreme conditions, while cysts and benign tumors dissolve as a result of autolysis, a process by which the body sacrifices its sickest cells for its own survival.
Bit coin and crypto currency has been making an appearance in the media lately. There seems to be a bit of hype surrounding the whole idea and how it will impact society. Blockchain the brainchild of a person or group of people known by the pseudonym, as Satoshi Nakamoto. The main question every single person is asking is: What is Blockchain? By allowing digital information to be distributed but not copied, blockchain technology created the backbone of a new type of internet. Originally devised for the digital currency, Bitcoin, the tech community is now finding other potential uses for the technology. Bitcoin has been called âdigital gold,â and for a good reason. To date, the total value of the currency is close to $9 billion US. And blockchains can make other types of digital value. Like the internet (or your car), you donât need to know how the blockchain works to use it. On this weekâs episode we talk with Rick Carter about everything surrounding Block chain. Essentially block chain will help dematerialize banks as we know it, leading to more democratization for the people. In a nut shell âBlockchain is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value.â Don & Alex Tapscott, authors Blockchain Revolution (2016)
Right now in Australia there is a $122 million dollar postal vote happening which asks the question, should the law be changed to allow same-sex couples to marry? Christina talks to Johnnie Cass, the first openly gay man on televisionâs Big Brother in 2001. They discuss the difficult questions surrounding the gay marriage postal vote. They delve deep why you may vote Yes or No looking at the implications surrounding the postal vote itself and the impact on society as a whole. There has been a mixed review across the nation with how the non-compulsory postal vote plebiscite has been received. Some are outraged at the extensive waste of tax payerâs money, raising the questions like, âDo you want your representative in Canberra, democratically elected and handsomely paid, to do their job?" There have also been strong campaigns advising participants to vote yes and no. The arguments being raised to vote no include school education agenda changing along with concern for religious ceremonies. So what will it actually mean if gay marriage is passed? And how will all these concerns be dealt with? Campaigns for the yes vote are based around love acceptance, equality and anti-discrimination. How exactly will the LGBTQI communityâs rights be effected and changed by allowing same sex couples to marry? This episode explores all these questions and more.
Discover how technology is dematerializing the world, which will inevitably lead to almost everyone losing their job. The rate that technology evolves at will rapidly effect our working conditions more and more. Technology is changing the way we live and certainly the way we do business. Did you ever think you would be serving yourself at a checkout at the store? This concept would have seemed absurd ten years ago, yet now its common practice at most supermarkets. There is set to be a big boom for the dematerialization of products and services becoming digitized, demonetized and/or democratized. We discuss the music industry and how technology has revolutionized and completely changed the game. Soon to be self-driving cars. Taxi drivers and those alike may see a decline in their services in the not so distant future. But it doesnât stop there. Itâs safe to say that nobodyâs job is safe. Even AI lawyers and surgeons are being developed, removing human error to get a better result. But the good news is at least you can forget that 5 â 8 year medical degree. We discuss the past and future of society as we know it and how your job could disappear before your very eyes.
Time, the ever-dwindling resource that weâre typically wasting on things. Working long hours shopping buying things we don't need etc. What if you could Use money to buy time?
Time is more important than money. You think that you know this, but you probably don't act on it as much as you could. As we learn to outsource and prioritise, you can slowly buy your time back everyday. Ask yourself, how much would you pay for extra hour or two in the day?
To get a project done and meet the deadline, spend time with your loved ones. What would it be worth to you? $20 an hour, $100 an hour? Do you know there is actually a way to get more "hours" in a day....NO it's not negotiating with father time. We discuss how you can earn more per hour by learning your value.
Looking at how much you are worth per hour you can see if something is really worth your time.
