We look back on a dramatic final day at Carnoustie which saw Italian Francesco Molinari claim the coveted claret jug after a stunning Sunday showdown at the 147th Open Championship.
Molinari held off a world class field that included Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose and a certain Tiger Woods who at one point had Major number 15 very much in his sights. We hear from the new Champion Golfer of the Year as well as his closest challengers.

Kevin Kisner and Zak Johnson are tied atop the leaderboard at the end of Day Two, with a host of their compatriots not far behind. It was a tale of two halves for the English hopefuls, with Tommy Fleetwood shooting 65 and catapulting himself up to tied third, whilst Justin Rose only just made the cut.
World Number One Dustin Johnson was one of a number of notable names not to progress to the weekend, including the 2017 PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas and the last man to lift the Claret Jug at Carnoustie, Padraig Harrington.
