Vanessa Rutkowski is a licensed acupuncturist and applied clinical nutritionist who has been practicing in Austin for about 18 years alongside her husband, Douglas Rutkowski. Together, they own Tigerlily Wellness and Acupuncture off S. Lamar.

Julie Oliver is a Democrat Running for US House of Representatives in Texas District 25, which stretches all the way from Austin up to Burleson south of Fort Worth. Graham Wilkinson is a soulful singer songwriter and guitar player whose music crosses genres from rock & roll, folk, and country to hip hop, ska, and reggae. Barb Steinberg is a tween and teen girl expert, parent coach, teen life coach and speaker on parenting girls. Guy Forsyth is a long time staple in the Austin music scene and a 9-time Austin Music Award winner. He is known for his blues and Americana musical storytelling and has opened and performed with such acts as Ray Charles, Robert Cray, Dr.John, B.B. King, Jimmie Vaughan and Lucinda Williams. If you’ve seen Guy perform (quite possibly at The Saxon Pub or Antone’s), you know he is an incredibly talented musician and performer, but his music was elevated to a whole new level when he joined forces with his lovely wife, Jeska, in 2018. A singer since childhood, Jeska Bailey Forsyth owned a blues club in San Angelo, Texas, named Sealy Flatts where she met Guy for the first time. Brett Ketchum is a Houston native and Austin transplant who has served our community as a professional firefighter for over 12 years. On his days off from the fire station, Brett runs a small business called Fireman Dryerman, teaches CPR and first aid classes, and spends time around Austin with his wife and two sons.
Brett and I talked about what drove him to become a firefighter after graduating with a psychology degree from UT, the arduous application and training process all firefighters go through, and some lesser known tips for keeping your family safe from house fires. I definitely learned a few things and I’m sure you will too.

Michelle Nipko is the Chief Marketing Officer for Austin’s Paramount Theatre, the iconic 103 year old performing arts venue that has played host to the likes of Houdini and Katharine Hepburn, to Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and President Obama. Gina Chavez is a Latin pop singer-songwriter and a 12-time Austin Music Award winner, who was named Austin Musician of the Year in 2015 and Female Vocalist of the Year in 2019. Gina has been an official SXSW artist going on 6 years in a row and her NPR Tiny Desk Concert has over 775,000 views. Taylor Baker, lead singer of the electro pop band, SWELLS, is a native Austinite who happens to be incredibly talented, creative, and gorgeous in an unfair way. As SWELLS, Taylor and her other half, Drew Walker, recently toured the US with Taylor on vocals and Drew playing guitar, synth and trumpet.
