.The Birth of

Moses

Exodus 2:1 Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman, 2 and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. 3 But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket[a] for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. 4 His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.

5 Then Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the riverbank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female slave to get it. 6 She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “This is one of the Hebrew babies,” she said.

7 Then his sister asked Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?”

8 “Yes, go,” she answered. So the girl went and got the baby’s mother. 9 Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you.” So the woman took the baby and nursed him. 10 When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses,[b] saying, “I drew him out of the water.”

Evangelist Dana Dantzler brings the word of God for taming the tongue. As a member of D' Impact Ministries, she pulls from the book of Matthews, chapter 12 and verse 36, to warn us about the danger of speaking carelessly. But this warning comes with encouragement; especially that encouragement that builds the church, that encouragement that connects the pastors with congregants and congregants with pastors as well as congregants to congregants. The end result is a tamed tongue and a heart that cares and respects. The end result is one body fitly joined together.  Now, from the Comunity Outreach Christian Ministry of Clarksville, TN, Pastor and Lady Mines, let's listen in to hear from Evangelist Dantzler.

Romans 8:33 - 35 lets us know that Jesus not only lived a life showing us God's goodness, power and will, and ways, and He not only died for us and rose from the grave with all power in His hands, taking the sting/fear of death and the power of the grave away but He is with God the Father interceding on our behalf. Yes, He not only left us with a promise of His preparing a place where we would be with Him and a promise of His return, but He is still showing love for us and obedience to the Father by giving of Himself - showing His faithfulness.  With Jesus being for us and God's love abiding with and for us, nothing can separate us from God. No, nothing can pluck us out of His hand - His care for us. Listen now to this message from Minister Richard B. Dantzler Sr.

Ever watch a video of the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly? It is an amazing event. How much more the transformation of the soul - the human heart and mind. The Bible lets us know that a transformation of the soul can take place by the renewing of our minds (2 Corinthians 5:17). And God instructs us to avoid conforming to the ways of the world. Listen as Evangelist Dana Dantzler expounds on this amazing spiritual event.

DI Speaks presents Saturday Morning Message Presented by Evangelist Dana Dantzler. The Bible tells of a time when the people of God who had found a good life in Egypt ended up in slavery as a new king came on the scene and was threatened by their increase in population. This story tells of how such fears can lead us into situations that hold us captive and use us to perpetuate evil's purpose. Even more so, this story tells how such captivity and enslavement can rob us of our joy and peace and a glorious privilege to worship God. Yet, this story reminds us of God's power and love for us, and His ability and willingness to not only set us free, but to make us free in order that we will freely worship Him. This story is indicative of God's redemptive power undergirded by His great love as expressed in the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus, Who set us free by paying the price for sin with His precious blood upon Calvary's cross. And ultimately, bringing us into victory upon His conquering and rising from death and the grave. Be blessed. (Scripture: Exodus 3:12)

The scripture, Luke 8:23-25 (EVS) reads,

And as they (The Disciples) sailed he fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water and were in danger. And they went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm. He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and they marveled, saying to one another, “Who then is this, that he commands even winds and water, and they obey him?”

Know that Jesus is still able to calm the storms in our lives. He is interceding for us, talking to God the Father on our behalf. Additionally, God has given us everything we need to make it through the trying conditions of this life. We need only to have faith and hold on to His promises, knowing that His love for us is greater than the challenges we face. Just hold on - the storm is passing - the Son is still shining.

In this episode, we gain an understanding of the post on Facebook that reads, "In this time of challenge, we must know that as in all times of threats against life, evil does not care. Therefore, identify evil." Question? What does the enemy look like? Knowing the enemy starts with knowing what is truly valuable versus what one has attributed value to. If it is life, if truth, if righteousness, if goodness, joy, faith, hope, and love, if these are truly what is valuable, then we know that those who possess these are worth holding on to and fighting for. In a war, one must know who the enemy is and how to truly identify him. Subsequently, we then can fortify and protect ourselves; spirit, mind, and body.
