In this episode I talk to Dr. Matthias Guo Wei Chan about his journey to become a veterinary surgeon specialist. We discuss his childhood growing up in Singapore, enlisting in the Singapore army, applying to study at Murdoch University as an international student and his current rotating internship at Southpaws Specialty Surgery for Animals in Victoria. We also discuss the different specialist certification bodies and the process of becoming a specialist in the veterinary field.
