Five Lessons I Wish I Would Have Listened to About Life and Business
Life is a journey, and we're all just along for the ride. This was something that I struggled with for a long time. I felt like I needed to have everything mapped out in order to be successful. But the truth is, that life is unpredictable and ever-changing. The best we can do is enjoy the ride and roll with the punches.
We tend to put a lot of pressure on ourselves to have everything "figured out" by a certain age or milestone. But the truth is, nobody has it all figured out. And that's OK! Life is a journey, and we're all just along for the ride.
Take time to recharge (take a break)
It's not about the destination but the journey.
This ties in with the first point. So often, we get so focused on reaching the goals that we forget to enjoy the process of getting there. But if you take the time to savor the journey, you'll find that it's just as rewarding as reaching the destination.
Journaling what's working and not working
You can't please everyone, so don't even try.
In business and life, you'll always have people who disagree with you and think you're doing it wrong. And that's OK! As long as you're true to yourself and your values, that's all that matters.
Trying to please everyone is a recipe for disaster. You'll only end up pleasing no one, including yourself. So instead of trying to be everything to everyone, focus on being true to yourself and those who matter most to you.
Set boundaries for everyone
Comparison is the thief of joy.
It's so easy to fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to others. But I realized that everyone is on their own journey, and comparing myself to others was only holding me back from enjoying my own life.
There will always be a first and a last.
Perfectionism is dangerous.
This is something that I'm still working on, and it's definitely a work in progress. But perfectionism can be crippling, both in life and in business. It can prevent you from taking risks and trying new things out of fear of failure. And it's important to remember that failure is a part of life; it's how we learn and grow.
If I could go back in time and give myself some advice, I would tell my younger self to stop being such a perfectionist. At the time, I thought that everything had to be perfect in order to be successful. I would spend hours agonizing over small details, and as a result, I often missed deadlines. Not only was this frustrating for me, but it also made me less productive. I have since learned that it is far better to focus on the big picture and let go of the need for perfectionism. This doesn't mean that we should tolerate sloppy work. But rather that we should strive for excellence rather than perfection. By learning to let go of my perfectionism, I have been able to achieve far more in both my personal and professional life.
I'd like to leave you with these popular quotes:
"Life is a journey, not a destination."
"The best way to find out what we truly need in life is by experimenting."
"Don't compare your chapter one to someone else's chapter twenty."
"You can't be everything to everyone." - Oprah Winfrey
"Remember: life is an adventure, not a competition." - Unknown"
These are just a few things I wish I had known sooner in life. But the reality is, that we all have to go through our own journey to learn these lessons. And that's OK! Just remember to enjoy the ride, and don't take yourself too seriously. Life is supposed to be fun, after all.
I'm so excited to spend these 100 episodes with you. I have grown as a person because of you, and I will be forever grateful. However, now is time for a much-needed break from podcasting so I can begin to put focus on other areas of my life and business. I can't wait to return to share all I have gained through my journey, and I can't wait to hear from you!
Please follow me on IG @totalfitbosschick if you aren't already so you can see what I will be up to.
How to Remain Positive when Dealing with Negative Situations and PeopleEach day, we are bombarded with negativity. The news is full of war, crime, and disaster stories, and it's easy to become wrapped up in our own problems.
It's no wonder that many people find it difficult to appreciate the good things in their lives. And accept the lessons out of the bad things.
Dealing with negative situations and people can be tough, but it's important to remain positive. After all, your attitude is a choice. And, as the saying goes, "attitude is everything." If you choose to have a positive attitude, you'll be more likely to see the good in people and situations. You'll also be more likely to find solutions to problems.
Of course, it's not always easy to stay positive. However, gratitude has the power to change our perspective and improve our well-being.
Focusing on what you're grateful for makes it harder to dwell on the negative. Another is to surround yourself with positive people. When you're surrounded by people who radiate positive energy, it's easier to keep your own spirits up.
Finally, don't be afraid to step into your next chapter. Sometimes the best way to move forward is to leave the past behind.
The Power of GratitudeWe've all heard that it's important to be grateful for what we have. But what exactly does that mean? And why is it important?
Being grateful means more than simply saying "thank you." It's about acknowledging the good in our lives, even when things are tough. It's about recognizing that every day brings both challenges and blessings. It's about being present in the moment and appreciating the small things that make up our lives.
Gratitude has been shown to have a number of benefits for both our physical and mental health. People who practice gratitude are more likely to exercise regularly, eat healthy foods, and get enough sleep. They're also less likely to experience depression, anxiety, and stress. And gratitude doesn't just make us feel good; it also makes us more likely to help others and to engage in pro-social behavior.
Ready to Put the Power of Gratitude into Action? When we take the time to be thankful for the good in our lives, we open ourselves up to more happiness, love, and joy. Gratitude allows us to see the world in a more positive light and provides us with the strength to face life's challenges.
So next time you're feeling down, take a moment to appreciate everything in your life. You may be surprised at how much better you feel. After all, life is an adventure. Embrace it!

In this episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick podcast, we're talking with
Libby Rothschild, founder, and CEO of Dietician Boss. She shares her secrets on scaling a business while still holding down a 9-5 clinical job. She has been featured in major publications and spoken at universities around the world about how she scaled 220% in a year without using paid ads or SEO - all from just one side hustle that grew into something much bigger than expected!
She was making $55,000 a year as a dietician, and she noticed that there was this massive gap in salary between her education and her income. So Libby decided to take her knowledge to social media and start their own business. She used her speaking and coaching side job and took it to video; before long other dieticians were asking to be coached as well.
With a small, targeted audience, Libby has been able to reach the million-dollar mark. She's continued her success by teaching others how they can too!
Tune into this show for some powerful techniques that will help you make more money with your online business even if things seem hopeless right now
Secrets on scaling a business online without running ads?
There are a million things to think about and a million more things that can go wrong. However, with careful planning and execution, it is possible to scale an online business successfully.
How did she get started? She documented her journey. Simply put, she recorded what she was doing and shared it with her social media community.
Here are four steps to scaling an online business Step 1
You have a business solving a problem
Step 2
Create a separate business social account
Step 3
Consistently show up, sharing all aspects of your life where you feel comfortable.
Step 4
Build online relationships with others by commenting, DMing, and engaging (include large accounts, accounts at your level, and smaller accounts)
How do you manage to scale an online business without getting overwhelmed?Step 1
Use the 80/20 rule and prioritize the most important aspect that moves the need in your business. (What has worked and double down on it)
Step 2
Do market research. What are related hashtags you can search to find more keywords, pain points, topics, and concerns in your space? What type of content are people creating, and who are the key players?
Build relationships with the key players and provide valuable engagement.
Growing and scaling an online business when you're just getting started.* Be focused * Build community * Learn pain points * Be relatable by sharing your story and talking about the market's pain points
How to grow and scale with a 9 to 5?Sell a product without a service by creating a stream of passive income. Libby created a course. She was able to make money so she could spend her time marketing and talking about her market pain points. The process of talking about pain points and providing a solution became a passive stream of income.
Secondly, she provided private coaching. However, supply and demand go into effect. The more she was in demand, the more she increased the price of coaching because it required her time.
Then she transformed private coaching into a mastermind. Then she was able to take more clients and make more money with less time.
Libby invested in herself and her business, like her clients invested in her. Personal growth is a key component to success. Therefore, she has a mentor and works with mentees.
Are you ready to start scaling an online business while still holding down a 9-5?

Steps to Landing Corporate ClientsCracking into large corporations can feel like an impossible task for entrepreneurs. However, with a little persistence and know-how, it can be done. Here are four steps to getting your foot in the door of a big company:
Do your research. Make sure you understand the company's mission and values, as well as their specific needs. This will help you tailor your pitch and give you a better chance of impressing the right people.
Network, network, network. Get connected with as many people as possible who work at the company or know someone who does. The more connections you have, the greater your chances of getting your foot in the door.
Be persistent. Big companies receive hundreds, if not thousands, of pitches every day. Don't take no for an answer; keep trying until you get a yes.
Follow up. Once you've made contact with someone at the company, make sure to follow up and keep the conversation going. The more you interact with them, the greater your chances of landing that dream job or contract.

Listen to this week's episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick to learn all about the organic marketing funnel and the ideal customer journey!
Topics on Customer Journey Mapping Process
How to Perfect the Customer Journey? The customer journey is crucial to funnel your audience to actual paying customers. However, most of the time, we rush our consumers to buy a product that they end up cutting all connections with you. Let's avoid break-ups by tuning in to this week's episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast to get all the details!
Key Points on Customer Journey Mapping Awareness Stage: Customer Journey Touchpoints
In this stage of the process, we're highlighting and understanding the customer touchpoints or pain points that are problems your audience faces. This prompts us to begin our research. We can start the search by considering what resources we can provide and the different types of messaging that would benefit a person trying to learn about solving their issue.
Customer service starts with listening to the customer's pain points. An effective customer journey doesn't put sales pressure on the consumer when presenting solutions. This will ruin the customer experience and cause the user to choose an alternative. How well are you applying the customer pain to your customer journey?
Unique Value Proposition
A successful company should offer something unique to its buyer persona. So, how do we set ourselves apart without pressuring the customer? It's with our unique value proposition. Our unique approach, offering, content, intent, or relation, is our unique approach. Our unique value proposition is what will truly get us far with our business.
Discover Your Intent
Pinpointing what your intent can be difficult; try answering these questions to help you determine what they are:
What truly sets you apart from your competitors?
Can your competitor easily imitate your message and offer?
Craft Your Message
From here, you need to create a message that shows your audience you understand their pain points, what they're looking for and need and how you or your brand can assist them in the buying process.
Remember, you're helping them with their journey - not a bibliography on yours.
Marry Your Success
Let's not get too caught up in proposing to our audiences and scare them away! Instead, let's learn more about marketing strategies in this week's episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick podcast so we can marry our success in the long term!

We all have had moments in our lives where we doubt ourselves and question our worth, abilities, and value. Every day, we're bombarded with messages telling us we're not good enough.
Whether it's an ad for the latest fad diet or it's a negative comment from a friend. It's easy to start doubting our worth, but what if there was a way to counter these negative messages? What if there was a way to speak directly to those doubts and remind ourselves how great we truly are now.
If you're looking for a little self-love boost, keep listening to hear—positive Self-worth affirmations to counter negativity fast.
One aspect that we face in our daily lives is working under pressure, and to make better decisions and take decisive actions we need to keep our cool. To be able to do that we need to understand two things. First, some things are not in our control. These are aspects we need to accept and let go of. Second, there are things we do have within our control. From here we can begin to decide how we react to these things, including how we speak, behave, respond, and how to think of ourselves. Doing this helps us shift our focus to something we can take action towards, keep our emotions at bay and implement solutions.
Tune in to this week’s episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast to learn how we can take control of situations before it controls us!
Topics on Confidence and Resilience
An Entrepreneur’s Ego
In our entrepreneurial journey, we’re bound to feel as if we’re not enough, struggling with anxiety and stress. We tend to look over these inner struggles by blocking them away. However, the key is accepting ourselves. Don’t miss out on all the insightful details, listen to this week’s episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick podcast!
Key Points on Confidence Resilience Values
Compass
In the modest of pressure and chaos, there’s always one place you can return to, which is your values. Understanding your values will give you clarity on the type of person you want to be. Your values will help ground you, acting as a compass to steer you in the right direction. Assessing your values is important because it aligns you with your true authentic self.
Acceptance
Ego is the image we construct of ourselves in our minds based on past experiences, good and bad, conditions, and cultural programming. It leads me to my point that you can be ambitious and grounded.
Yet, we let our experiences in our entrepreneurial journey define entirely who we are. We pressure ourselves to not fail and we should always succeed. This causes toxic productivity, pressure, and low self-esteem to grow instead.
Identity
We tend to let our entrepreneurial journey dictate who we are. However, we are more than just entrepreneurs, we are someone’s mother, friend, wife, husband, son, or sister … we need to understand that being an entrepreneur is only one aspect of who we are. We shouldn’t confine ourselves to one identity.
More Than Confidence and Resilience
Let’s overcome chaos, embrace all our sides, and control situations before it gets the better of us! Tune in to this week’s insightful episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast!

Key Points in Prospecting and Lead Generation Technique How To Handle Objections?
When we call prospective clients, we tend to be faced with an objection. Tune in to this week's episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick to get all the details to turn objections to loyal customers!
Smokescreen
To handle a call where the client is objecting, you need to figure out if it's just a smokescreen. The key feature of a smokescreen conversation is when they don't give an actual reason why their prices have gone up or whatever other issue may be bothering them.
Listen and Acknowledge
When the client begins to raise the smokescreen, you need to listen to them and acknowledge their reason. If you continue to pitch without acknowledging what they have told you, they're most likely annoyed and do not want to entertain what you have to say; hence, active listening is a crucial skill for a salesperson.
Hook
After acknowledging their objection, you need to say something that will surprise them. This will allow you to peak their interest, and they would want to continue listening to you. If you aren't sure what to say, go back to your value proposition. From here, you can briefly talk about what you can offer.
Set a Meeting
Lastly, set a meeting! Many people tend to leave this out, but it's very powerful! Ask them when they are free or what time best works for them for you to address your pitch properly.
Prospecting and Lead Generation to Success! We've learned how important it is to prospect and qualify leads by using techniques and insights mentioned on the show. Remember, this is just a highlight. Imagine this; you have a strong following on a social media platform. It could be Facebook groups or Instagram. Then one day, it gets deleted, with no sort of way to remain in contact with your following.
This is exactly why you need a website with a landing page that draws your audience to register their email. Doing this will ensure that you have your audiences' in your emailing list, a place where you can still connect with them.
A good opening statement is when your landing page or email draws your audience in. How do you do that? Immediately highlight a pain point your audiences would have. First, let's talk about some productivity tips for staying productive. Productivity is all about simplicity. An elaborate morning routine or productivity method may not be what works for you, but it could be perfect for someone else.
I've tried tons of methods to find out that it may be best to integrate several methods. But all in all, no matter which method is best for you, these steps will help you get where you want to be.
Before we jump into planning a productive week, let me tell you the three rules we follow before we set our goals for the week.
Keep it simple - Apply the 80/20 ruleContrary to some gurus, You don't need to have tons of complicated planners, notebooks, and apps to be a productive person. In fact, the less clutter you have, the better!
That's why the Pareto's Principle, the 80/20 rule is a great way to simplify your life and focus on the important things. Basically, this rule states that 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts. So, if you're feeling overwhelmed by all that you need to do, take a step back and ask yourself which tasks are actually going to move the needle?
Give yourself a task test. Do I NEED to do this to reach my goal?
I recently read the book via; Audible Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins, who is a retired professional athlete. And is the only person in history to have completed Navy SEAL training, Air Force tactical air control party training, and Ranger School. He is also a former world record holder for the most pull-ups done in 24 hours.
Pretty amazing stuff, right? David put in countless hours of training in order to make his dreams happen. But what if David only spent 20% of his time training and the other 80% of his time doing tasks that had no real bearing on his goals.
Just think...
What if Oprah spent 80% of her time in her early years gardening? Do you think you'd know who she was today?
"Someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago."— Warren Buffett
The first step is to focus on the one thing that you want to accomplish for the week that aligns with who you want to become.
Be consistently intentionalThat brings me to the second rule. Be intentional with your weekly goals. Do they line up with your monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals?
If your goal is to become an influencer.
Your week should reflect tasks and actions towards becoming an influencer. If your personal goal is becoming more patient, your weekly goals should reflect that goal...Consistently!
So what do you do when it's hard to be consistent?
David said in his book that when it got really hard to continue, he was running with a heart condition, a broken leg, and bloody swollen feet. He pulled out virtual cookies from his mind's cookie jar of all the wins he had already accomplished, both large and small, to encourage his willpower to continue.
Jerry Senfield uses the don't break the chain method in his life as a comedian. Jerry consistently and intentionally applies the 80/20 rule by writing one joke every day; because he has created a lifelong string of many jokes, he will remain a comedic icon.
Action step: What is one thing you can consistently and intentionally apply to reach your goals?
Be flexible and integrate your entire lifeOne huge problem with "time management" is that we do have not to control over time itself. There's no way we could accurately schedule every moment. Life happens, which is why it's best to add plenty of cushion to our day. We forget to integrate our life with our work and our work with our life.
Don't get me wrong; I'm not encouraging you to multitask. What I am saying is when you plan your day, keep in mind that you may have doctor's appointments, little league games, lunch with a friend, downtime to yourself, and time for the necessities like getting ready for the day and reflecting on your day.
By no means am I suggesting scheduling out every little piece of your day. If that doesn't work for you, it definitely doesn't work for me; however, what I am saying is to make sure that you are flexible and that you remember to include both your work and your life.
Again, I don't encourage task switching or multitasking; however, there are times when multitasking can be beneficial to you. For example, if you've scheduled an hour for a walk, that's also the time when you can listen to podcasts or catch up with a friend or neighbor.
Let's sum up the three rules we should follow before we plan our week.
It doesn't matter if you're wondering how to plan your week as a student, entrepreneur, or a goal-getter; these strategies will help you build a solid plan to get you there.
Step 1 Schedule a Day to Plan Your WeekOne of the best ways to make sure that you actually plan your week is to schedule it in your calendar. This will help to ensure that you get it done instead of procrastinating or winging it because you didn't make the time.
Some people swear by planning on Sunday or super early Monday morning. Sunday's used to be my number one pick too. However, my favorite days now are Thursday or Friday. Find space in your calendar that you can commit to and schedule it.
Platforms like Google calendar make it easier to schedule your planning sessions for weeks to come automatically.
It's like a date with your planning session. So that means time without social media which includes but is not limited to Tic Tok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snap Chat, LinkedIn, and their friends' Clubhouse, YouTube, and Pinterest.
When you have a scheduled day of the week for planning, it's easier to stay focused and productive.
Step 2 Use a System to PlanLet's talk about where are you going to store your plans? We have to use a system. Some where to house our plans outside of our minds. This system is a giant step for your sanity.
It's the difference between sleepless nights and sound rest and the difference between a wish and an accomplishment.
Studies have shown that people who write down their goals are more likely to achieve them.
People with written goals are 50% more likely to achieve than people without written goals (http://www.goalband.co.uk/goal-achievement-facts.html)
Multimillionaire CEO and author Lonnie Dawson says that only 1% of the population has written goals they review regularly, and these were among the highest achievers in the United States. Dawson also says a millionaire looks at their goals once a day in a billionaire looks at their goals twice a day.
But it's not enough to just jot down a few goals, review them, and hope for the best.
You need to find a system that works for you to plan your week.
"Experts in every field agree on the transformative power of systems"(Mark Joiner, Simpleology).
Do you like paper or digital planners? While some people swear by paper planners, others prefer the convenience of digital planning apps. There are pros and cons to both methods, but it ultimately comes down to personal preference.
I like to benefit from the muscle memory of using pen and paper, but I had random journals, notebooks, and pieces of paper everywhere. But I prefer the flexibility of digital planners.
What was my solution? I pair my digital planner with an iPad and Apple pencil using the Goodnotes app. It's the best of both worlds for me. I can keep my plans handy wherever I go, but I can manually write everything out without sending out a search party.
Whether it's a digital planner or good old-fashioned pen and paper, there are plenty of options.
I have a free time blocking template and digital planner template you can use either digital or as a printable.
However, if you use printables, you may want to include some digital systems like:
Notion
Trello
Google Calendar
Google Tasks
Step 3 Brain dump, categorize and prioritize tasksOnce you have your system in place, it's time to do a brain dump. This is where you make a list and write down everything that's on your mind, no matter how big or small. Once you have everything out of your head, you can start to categorize and prioritize your tasks.
How do you categorize your tasks is an individual thing. It's what's important to you. I say break them down into no more than five categories such as finance, social, personal, health, and family.
In case you need a little help understanding the importance of categorizing or selecting your top categories, I'd like to share an extremely popular theory quoted by great leaders like Tony Robbins, Mel Robins, and Brandon Burchard.
Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is a theory in psychology that Abraham Maslow proposed in his 1943 paper "A Theory of Human Motivation".
The hierarchy describes the basic needs that human beings must satisfy in order for them to reach their full potential.
The first level of the hierarchy is physiological needs, such as the need for food, water, and sleep. The second level is safety needs, including the need for shelter and protection from danger.
The third level is love and belongingness needs, including the need for friendships and relationships. The fourth level is esteem needs, including the need for respect and recognition.
The fifth and final level is self-actualization needs, which includes the need to become everything that a person can be.
The hierarchy is often represented as a pyramid, with the lower levels representing the more basic needs and the higher levels representing the more complex needs. Maslow believed that all human beings have the potential to reach the fifth level of self-actualization, but not all will do so.
He also believed that people are motivated to satisfy their needs in order of importance, starting with physiological needs and moving up to self-actualization needs.
The goal is for us to become the most fulfilled version of ourselves. Categorizing our priorities helps us get there by reminding us of what's really important in all aspects of our life, not just one area.
So look at your brain dump list and prioritize the things you NEED to do, and categorize them. For example, working out would be under the health or fitness category, and editing a blog post would fall under something like the finance or career category.
Step 4 Create the ProcessNapoleon Hill says, Plan your work and work your plan.
So how do we work our plan?
Once you've identified your goal and prioritized it, it's time to start planning how you're going to achieve it.
This is where you take action!
If you struggle with distractions, procrastination, or overwhelm.
I totally get it...I spent too many hours wondering what I should do next.
A pro tip here is to use templates. I spent counts hours and dollars purchasing courses and workshops so I could learn the best processes for my tasks. You can cut the line and the cost by visiting the Total Fit Boss Chick shop and grabbing a done-for-you template.
If you don't see a template you're looking for, it's probably in the process of being created. However, I want to serve you well, so let me know if you are in search of anything in particular.
In addition to using templates, I suggest task chunking.
Task chunking is a great way to break down a large task into smaller, more manageable tasks. This can be helpful for complex tasks that seem overwhelming or for tasks that have a lot of steps.
Make a list of all the tasks you need to complete to reach your goal. Be sure to include both big and small steps. For example, if your goal is to write several blog post, your list might include tasks like "research," "content writing," and "edit."
Once you have your list of steps complete I, suggest task batching.
Task batching is the process of completing similar tasks together. This can be done in a variety of ways, such as grouping related tasks together, completing them all at once, or scheduling them to be completed at the same time.
Time blocking is another process to manage your time and stay productive. It involves setting aside specific blocks of time for specific tasks. This can be helpful for tasks that need to be completed in a specific amount of time, which we'll discuss a bit more in step 5.
Step 5 Schedule your WeekNow it's time to schedule your week. This is where your calendar is your best friend.
- "A calendar is a planning system. It is a way to see your life on paper." - Rachelle Gardner
You may find it helpful to create a theme for your work. I like to schedule themed days so I don't have to constantly look at my calendar for what I should do on a particular day—for example, Talking Thursday. Thursday is the day I do all my talking for videos, podcasts, etc.
High-priority tasks should go into your calendar first.
The key is not to prioritize what's on your schedule but to schedule your priorities. Stephen Covey
Here's how you can easily schedule your task in Google Calendar.
Open Google Calendar and click the "Create" button in the top left corner.
Select "Event" from the list of options.
Enter the details for your task. The most important information is the date and time, but you may also want to include the name of the task and a brief description.
Click "Save" when you're finished.
Time blocking may help you drill even further.
To time block, simply find a time on your calendar that you can dedicate to the task, and then block it off. This will help ensure that you don't accidentally schedule something else for that time, and that you'll be able to focus on the task at hand.
For more on Time Blocking and a free Time blocking Template, read my blog post Time Blocking 101 Explained https://totalfitbosschick.com/time-blocking-method-ultimate-guide/
Finally, don't forget to include some downtime in your schedule! This is important for both your physical and mental health. Aim to include a few hours each week where you can relax and recharge.

You'll have to listen to the show for all the goods, but here’s a sneak peek of our discussion of the social media platforms where you should show up…
There are loads of platforms we could choose to market our brand. However, what are the best platforms for your company to gain potential customers? Let’s break down some social media techniques for outbound lead generation and inbound lead generation.
LinkedIn ads (best for b2b lead generation) are the most expensive. However, it's perfect for high ticket sales, where it only takes one to two sales a month to make seven figures a year. Next is TikTok, where you can make seven figures organically! Now, there are two types of TikTok content. The first is evergreen content. This content explains what you do, your industry or market, your products, and services. Essentially, it’s content that will always be relevant to you and your brand. The second type is trending content, but it doesn’t mean you need to lip-sync or dance. However, take advantage of using trending audios to get on the algorithms.
Instagram is another great platform you can use the reels feature like Tic Tok videos in addition to making post and stories.

Personal Finance Coaching TopicAs Leah highlights, make something visual; make yourself a vision board if you're visual. And the other thing is to give yourself like victory prices. When you figure out what 100% of your debt is, and then when you get to 25% of that is paid off. Take a hundred bucks away from your dog, that snowball, and go do something fun.

Key points in Reaching your Financial Goals:* Plan for the future: start saving but do your budget. Don't start saving until the debt collectors. Pay off debt collectors, then start saving for college and paying off your house in your retirement. If you look at Dave Ramsey, he's got the steps in order to do it that way. It's convenient because it's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and you're done. So do it in the order. * What would be the fastest, most efficient way to get debt taken care of?
There are lots of options. But it's most common to start with baby steps. There's the debt avalanche, the debt snowball. There's like a pay by the monthly premium payment plan. Whichever one keeps you motivated, that's the one that's going to be fastest because if you don't stay motivated, you're going to stop halfway through.

Want more ways to make life easier?:
Work in ReverseThe first step is to work in reverse. Instead of starting with what you have to do, start with what results you want.? Ask yourself what actions you need to make to create those results? Once you have a clear idea of that, you can start mapping out how to get there.
So what does that look like in 5 steps?
Here are five simple steps to reverse engineer your goals to reset your mindset: 1. Start with what you want
Ask yourself how to get what you want - List the Actions Necessary to Achieve the Goal
Assign a Time-Frame to Each Action
Create a Schedule for Completing Each Action
Check off Completed Actions
Reversing the process of how to create something can be beneficial when it feels like you have too much on your plate and not enough time. We have to take a moment to breathe and plan that won't overwhelm or paralyze us. In other words, this is how we approach resolution as opposed to starting with where we are now or how we got there in the first place.
Working backward can help us make more manageable plans for what's next because it costs us less mental energy than trying to figure out how to take care of everything at once
We're able -rather effortlessly instead-to identify the most important tasks on our list, work through them one by one, and trust that the rest will fall into place
Control What You CanThe second step is to take control of what you can. This means being mindful of your thoughts and how they impact your emotions and actions. It's easy to get caught up in a negative thought spiral, but it's important to remember that you have the power to choose how you react to things.
You can't control everything in life, but there are certain things that you do have power over. Choose your attitude, how you spend your time, and the words that come out of your mouth - these are all things that YOU can control. Make a conscious effort to focus on the positive and let go of anything negative that's dragging you down.
If something negative happens, don't dwell on it - focus on what you can do to fix the situation.
You can't always control what happens to you, but you can control how you react to it
When you focus on what you can control, it empowers you to take action and make positive changes
Negative thinking leads to negative actions, so make a conscious effort to focus on the positive
Speak PowerStep three is to speak power. This means being intentional with your words and how you use them. The things you say to yourself greatly impact how you feel, so choosing your words wisely is important. When you catch yourself thinking or saying something negative, stop and reframe it in a positive light. For example, instead of "I'm such a failure," try "I'm learning and growing."
Your words have power, so use them wisely
Reframing negative thoughts and statements into positive ones can help shift your mindset
The more you speak positive words into your life, the more you will believe them.
Instead of beating yourself up, be kind and understanding - remember that everyone makes mistakes!
If you are looking to build a daily habit of being more intentional, head over to www.totalfitbosschick.com/onedayatatime and download the free digital planner template.
Live Without RegretsThe fourth step is to live without regrets. This means making peace with the past and living in the present. Make choices that align with your values and what you want in life. If you make a mistake, learn from it and move on - don't dwell on it or let it hold you back. It's easy to get caught up in what could have been, but it's important to remember that you can't change the past. What's done is done, so focus on what you can do now to make your future better.
Don't dwell on the past - focus on the present and how you can make positive changes
Living with regret only holds you back from reaching your full potential
Learn from your mistakes and use them as motivation to move forward
Be Growth-MindedThe fifth and final step is to be growth-minded. This means viewing every problem as an opportunity for growth and success. Instead of seeing obstacles as roadblocks, see them as challenges to overcome. No one is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes - but it's how we learn and grow from those mistakes that counts. This mindset shift can make a big difference in how you approach life.
Viewing problems as opportunities can help you stay positive and motivated
It's important to remember that obstacles are only temporary - you can overcome them!
Having a growth mindset means that you're always learning and improving, which is an empowering feeling
Resetting your mindset is a process, but it's worth it! These five simple steps can help you get on the path to success. Remember to be patient with yourself and take things one step at a time.
By following these five simple steps, you can reset your mindset and get what you want in life - no perfection required!
Just remember to take things one step, one day at a time so be patient with yourself. Growth takes time, but it's so worth it in the end.
Work less. Live more. Focus on What Matters.

Key points in Balancing Career and Motherhood: Don't Settle*
If there is one message I could leave for women that are looking to combine career and motherhood is:
I was told too often that "I can't have both."
The "time invested" paradigm is so 20th century! When did raising your kids turn into an all-out war on yourself? We should shift our focus to quality over quantity in all aspects of life, whether work or play.
When you became a mother, you also got a reality slap from a non-obvious friend - yourself.
When you realize that there is another pair of eyes watching your every move, you become VERY aware of how you treat yourself. What you do will tend to be what your child does as well.
Denisse says,
-The way I look myself at the mirror
-The way I talk to myself when I fail
-The way I take in or push compliments
And it jumpstarted one hell of a journey that I'm still going through until this very day.

We all have a list of passions in life along with goals. Nine times out of 10, it's a money goal.
When we choose to shift our negative beliefs about money, it allows us to collapse those goals' timeframe because we no longer are attached to the functional, practical, predictability approach.
Shifting our negative beliefs about money allows us the freedom and flexibility in approaching life with a clear mind. We can let go of old behaviors that no longer serve us because many of them are based on invalidating experiences from childhood- after choosing what's best for ourselves instead of accepting everything, we'll find new hope!
This gives people peace of mind since they don't need external validation other than themselves, which means if something feels wrong, they'll stop pushing forward into spaces where their happiness won't serve them.
And it makes sense to us to feel the value, feel who we are, what we bring to the table, how we operate with money because men are wired very differently.
You are completely capable and powerful to take the leap of faith and begin the process. Listen to your intuition first and then intellect.

Accounting and Processes in Business We're going to talk about some points on finding the perfect fit for your people and budgeting. So don't miss any details on Total Fit Boss Chick - tune in now!
Key Points For Your Organization * People
Sometimes, when we face roadblocks, we are not sure if it's because of the people in our organization or our processes. To distinguish if it's the process or people, you need to reassess if the people are the perfect fit for the job. This means they align with your business's purpose, vision, and core ideology.
As entrepreneurs, we want to hire someone just like us. But it's important to understand that we can't replicate ourselves. The key point is to understand that everyone has their own gifts and talents - sometimes better skills than ours.
The main purpose of a budget is to help you plan. It helps you designate how much money you want to make and how much money you want to earn. Consider budget as a tool to pencil out your vision and plans for your business, helping you continuously track your results against it and adjust your strategies based on the outcomes.
Budgeting can be empowering. You can start sorting out how much money you will invest in a launch, pay yourself, or create a product or service.
The best part of it is you can start now. You don't need to wait for January or the last quarter of the year. This is because we create budgets based on past historical payments. So it means that depending on how much you spent previously, for example, a launch, cost this $XXX amount - it will become the baseline for this year's new launch budget.
If this seems overwhelming, I highly recommend you to take it One Day At A Time with the (FREE) Daily Planner!

When we begin planning how to write our book - we need to consider the end goal of” what’s the purpose?
You can do this by going through a bookstore, or even online book platforms, to look at the specific section where you want your book to belong. From here, browse through your competing titles. From here, you can position your book by asking yourself - “how can my book stand out?”. Why should the reader choose to read your book over others?
Consider what you want to benefit from your book; this can help you set objectives for your planning and finances objectives previously mentioned; your book can act as a lead generation by offering it for free. Or, you might want to earn royalties through your book.

In this episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick, we're joined by EA Csolkovits, the founder of Givers University. He started at 16 as a janitor, but he was a millionaire by the time he was 23. Today, we will discuss how to build a sense of community, the seven clever steps to attract more givers, and the importance of mentorship and coaching.
Before we jump into building a community of givers - let's clearly define who they are! Research has concluded that 20% of the population are "takers" or people who take an opportunity in situations. 20% of the population are "givers" who provide value to the circumstance. The remaining 60% are "fencers" who can act as givers or takers depending on the situation.
Now it's important to highlight that even if you are a giver, you are not taken advantage of or taken for granted. This is because what you give out will return to you. Hence, building a community of givers will truly inspire and help you achieve your goals!

We're going to discuss some of the points to attract more givers. So, tune in to this week's episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick podcast to get all the details!
Key Points in Attracting More Givers * Deeds
One of the key points to distinguish if someone is a taker or giver is through their deeds. From here, you can ask yourself, "who or what type of people do I want to surround myself with?"
However, I would like to clarify that you shouldn't be stereotyping or judging a person. You are DISCERNING the people you want a community with!
Next is invite! Invite those individuals who also would want to create their own community in the future. You can teach them how to build their community.
On a regular basis, it can be weekly or monthly, but it's important that you find time to meet together with your giver community.
Establish an identity for your group. Have an established name for your community, and it's members. It aids in the closeness and comradery of the group.
Rotate the chairperson for every meeting. This designated person will lead the meeting and agenda.

Do you think you can “work less and earn more”? Do you have a belief system that only rich people deserve money, and you have low expectations for making your own money and reaching your financial goals? That’s common money blocks; unfortunately, those money beliefs keep us from achieving our value. Let’s gear up for the challenge and reach our goals - because we’re going to unlock the secrets to earning six figures without burning out!
In Episode 81 of the Total Fit Boss Chick, we’re joined by Dr. Amanda Barrienetez! She’s the founder of NFA, a money healer. She helps you work less and earn more. Today we’re discussing money blocks and breakthroughs and the conversation you should have with yourself to become financially fit.
I know you’re probably questioning what money blocks are? Money blocks are limiting beliefs; we say that we can’t achieve our goals because we are in a negative headspace. We’re in a negative headspace because of comparisons and fear. Also, money blocks cause imposter syndrome and burnout, and we push ourselves to our breaking points.
The next question is - how do we get past money blocks? Through buy-ins! Start with affirmations that your brain and subconscious can believe. For example, let’s say that you’re not making the amount of money you want and feel stressed out at work. Instead of going, “I’m going to become a multimillionaire entrepreneur,” which you might not believe yet, begin with “I am on my way to building an ever-growing business.” The key in making this work is to focus on the positive; it shouldn’t be rooted in fear of scarcity but looking forward to your growth.

An Entrepreneur’s Common Pitfalls with FinancesLike I’ve said previously, there’s no shame in falling into these rabbit holes as an entrepreneur. Sometimes, we don’t even realize it!
Listen to Episode 78 Most Common Pitfalls With Finances Revealed of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast as Heather takes us on a journey in highlighting and correcting these pitfalls so we can truly finance our freedom!
Key Points on Common Pitfalls with FinancesCo-mingling Funds
Co-mingling is when we don’t necessarily separate our business account from our personal accounts. This can get tricky pretty quickly. It can be more difficult if you have a bigger company - imagine needing to go through all the transactions and figuring out what’s a business expense and not?
Creating a business account is the best and easiest way to rectify it! Additionally, it’s a great way to ensure you pay yourself.
Taxes
Tax is something not taught in schools, and it can get very confusing very quickly. The tax you have to pay will be different based on your business. For example, a sole owner versus a partnership will have different tax regulations.
It can get confusing if you also operate in different states. You might be getting mail asking you to pay tax or not even be aware that you had to pay tax in a different state. It’s important to know that taxes work differently for each state!
It’s important for you to contact a CPA or lawyer, especially if you operate in a partnership. Also, you can look into the IRS website and get an EIN (employee identification number), which you can use and open a business bank account with.
Fees and Expenses
We might think we’re earning a certain about of money - but have we considered fees and expenses? Sometimes we can end up earning more than we realize, but fees and tax make it look like we might not have. Hence, it’s important to differentiate revenue, dales, fees, and expenses!
We can automate separating out fees and expenses with software to help you find the true number of your sales! This is also useful when paying taxes!

Comfort And Change There are multiple ways we can find comfort and peace of mind when we’re struggling, feeling uneasy, or putting ourselves in a cycle of toxic productivity. Sometimes these are our pain points when dealing with or needing change. Don’t miss out on all the details on Episode 77 of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast!
Key Points in Dealing with Pain Points * Feeling Stressed
Meditation is the best way to handle stress. It helps us be mindful of situations and our bodies. We might be feeling unwell because our stress has manifested in our bodies to be like this, yet we push on. When we meditate, we can listen to our body and know what it needs, whether that is rest, self-care, or even simply stretching.
Make meditating part of your routine and develop healthy habits! I recommend checking the “Habit Builder Tool Kit” (https://www.totalfitbosschick.com/habitbuilder/) to kick-start your journey!
When we feel uneasy, we need to brain dump! Sometimes we have so many things going in our heads that we just need to release them. Brain dumping or simple journaling without a prompt is a great way to release all our stressful and uneasy thoughts.
I highly suggest you check out the “Productivity Cheat Sheets” (https://totalfitbosschick.com/productivitysheets/) - it has the perfect sheets to brain dump!
When we catch ourselves in the loop of toxic productivity, building a system is a great way to break that cycle. Corbin suggests using these three actions - eliminate, automate and outsource. If something cannot be eliminated, like cleaning the floors, you can automate it by having a smart hover. However, if you can’t automate it, like scheduling social media posts, you might need to outsource. Following “eliminate, automate and outsource” in this order can help you tackle tasks without overly exhausting you!
Try the Productivity Quiz (https://totalfitbosschick.com/productivityquiz/) to help you find the perfect method that works for you!

Key Points To Set Up a System First, you need to do a task audit. This is where you need to look at what’s taking a lot of your time with your business. This proves to be a big pain for one’s business. One of the best ways to tackle this head-on is through automation. With certain jobs, it’s also best to look at a specialized virtual assistant. This is both cost-effective and efficient. It lets you spend more time on things you love to do about your job and stay in your zone of genius. You’re leveraging other people's specialties and skills to do the things that you aren't in your zone of genius. It’s a win-win situation!
The next step is task management. This is looking at how you make your “to-dos” and manage your team. A word of wisdom is that you won’t build the right system overnight. It’s best to start from the backend and slowly work on it week by week.

The Best Way to Break the Code of Trading There are a lot of limiting beliefs we need to debunk if we want to become a profitable day trader! It’s easy to let our minds to run away with us. Sometimes we think we don’t have enough education, money, resources, and time, but the best way to learn day trading starts with our mindset. Listen to Episode 74 of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast to get all the details and kick-start your trading journey!
Key Ideas on Trading Strategies for BeginnersThese are some key points that you need to understand about trading!
Trading is NOT Gambling!
Many people believe that trading and the stock market is a lot like gambling - however, this is not the case! “If it was gambling, it wouldn't be a market, and it would be illegal.” Now, a lot of this mentality stems from the idea that you are likely to lose your principal. Yet, that’s not the case; there are methods, like Rosetta has said, that will ensure you will not lose your principal at all!
Learning
Linking to the first point, many people think trading is gambling is because they don’t know the right information. They want a little; they lost a little; those are like gamblers because they're just jumping in and jumping out, and they can't recharge. They don't understand the fundamentals or the technical aspect of trading.
Monday is the biggest day of the week for traders. We make money and keep it. So that's the caveat that people don't know. You cannot do that unless you know what you're doing. A trader is smart because we're advancing the market, not just waiting for the market. This is what Rosetta’s organization does, using AI to help traders make better choices.
Trade VS Investments
One of the essential things to learn is what the difference is between trading and investing. Investing is when you buy a stock and wait for some time, maybe a quarter or a year, before you sell it. While trading is high stakes and fast. You buy and sell. Being a trader, Monday isn’t just any normal Monday - it’s Money Monday!
Ready for Money Mondays? Are you ready to look forward to Monday? Listen to Episode 74 of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast to break the code and make a living off Money Mondays with trading!

How Do We Overcome the Fear of Public Speaking? One of the aspects to help with overcoming our fear of public speaking is to gain confidence. We can gain this confidence by competence. With the help of the five P’s, all of these aspects will interweave and layer - next thing you know, you’re speaking in front of an audience, with your voice being heard!
Key Points of the Five P’s * Profile
The first aspect is profile, which is you. You need to be clear about who you are, so when you’re talking about yourself, it becomes easy to speak about yourself because you know yourself better than anyone.
Similarly, you need to know your product or service very well. Be clear and confident with what you offer, because once you develop competence, it will be easier to answer any questions and overcome the fear of messing up!
One of the best ways to start practicing, talking, and implementing is through podcasting. You don’t necessarily have to worry about your face or physical gestures because it’s focused on your voice. If you’re hosting a podcast, you don’t need to speak a lot but ask amazing questions that keep the conversation going.
Webinars, seminars, or any presentations will bring you forward in overcoming your fear of public speaking. The best way to perfect public speaking is by doing it! Tom suggests delivering a signature talk, which spans from 60 to 90 minutes, where you effectively talk to and present to an audience.
The last P is profit. You can be the go-to expert in your industry when you have your voice heard. You can use speaking to grow your business, revenue, profitability, and network! Remember, the more impact you can have and the more income you can have as well in the world.
Be Heard! Your voice is your power, so tune into Episode 73 of the Total Fit Boss Chick to get all the details about gaining confidence and overcoming your fear of public speaking!

How Do We Get Started? With any business - it can be scary to jump right in. So, here are some pointers to help you get in the right direction!
Invest in Profitable Land One of the easiest ways to get started is to start looking at profitable land. You can simply do this by researching “fastest-growing metropolitan.” From here, you can look at the top areas to start your search for the perfect real estate. You don’t need to invest in the top 20 or 30, as long you’re within the top 100 - it ensures there will be people looking into buying houses or properties there.
30/100 Rule When you start investing in property, consider the 30/100 rule. For example, if you plan to sell your property at $100,000, you should have only bought it for $30,000. To help you get the right gauge of how much the property can amount to - get in contact with a local appraiser. You can also find this on the internet!

How Can We Start Our 3-Day Weekend Lifestyle? Before starting your 3-day weekends, you have to understand the keyword–lifestyle. It’s supposed to be sustainable and long-lasting! So, here are some key points to remember to keep 3-day weekends into your life in the long run.
Key Points in Embarking on a 3-Day Weekend Lifestyle Attracting the Right Clients
To have a 3-day weekend lifestyle, you need to work with people you truly want to deal with. Sometimes, as entrepreneurs, we can’t stop working. We have to jump on the latest trend, think of something new, or believe that if we don’t work for one more day - we won’t be able to achieve our goals. However, it’s important for us to realize, “Is this client someone I want to work with?” or, “Are they just wasting my time?”. They might not have the same vision as you, or it may just simply be hard to work with them. Attracting the right clients depends on our basic values of what we can work with.
Live Within Your Means
Living within our means can be difficult. Sometimes, we can spend more than our monthly salary and barely save anything. So, you have to go back to work, maybe go for holiday pays or overtime shifts. However, in order to have a 3-day lifestyle, you need to start living within your means. This way, you won’t be working for more than four days just because you need to pay the bills from last month.
Be Inspired
Lastly, be inspired. There are instances where we would like to work because there’s nothing else to do. All our friends are working - so might as well, right? But this isn’t the mindset you should have. We must be inspired to make time to be present to do things we want to do - even when we’re alone.
Enjoy Your Weekend! Don’t miss out on this insightful episode - tune in to Episode 71 of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast NOW!

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend - this saying is also applicable to our pelvic floor. Our pelvic floor looks like a diamond. To give you a better visual, your spine is one point of the diamond. Across it is your pelvic bone. Your muscles end up making a diamond shape. You might not be tapping into the optimal function of your pelvic floor. However, one of the best ways to understand the relationship between your pelvic bone and your posture and having a strong core is a zipper. The zipper starts from your pelvic floor, up to the lower belly, and stops at the top of your head. Everything in your body is connected; hence everything you do affects it all.

In episode 69 of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast, Merit Kahn, an emotional Intelligence sales expert, and CEO of SELLect Sales Development, tells us how to increase our emotional intelligence, how to stop selling, and Start getting SELLected. The key to doing more deals and expanding influence without being too aggressive and how the combination of mindset, mechanics, and motion can change your profit game!
Merit says,
"Sometimes we think a good leader is really knowledgeable about the industry and their products and services and all of that. And that's part of it for sure. But. What really has people rise to the top is how well they treat other people. That's really the essence of emotional intelligence, how well we understand our own emotions and our impact on other people when we don't understand that. To be more influential with other people, it's so important that we understand what has influence over us."
You don't want to have highs and lows. What you're really striving for is balance, which can be improved with the help of emotional intelligence training programs like MBT (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction). Self-care techniques such as meditation involve practicing one's own control over how they feel by focusing on their thoughts in order to gain perspective before acting upon them.
It might sound too simple at first glance, but when we look closely, enough all aspects/behaviors seem different because each situation calls out certain responses from us - these things may change depending on what happens during our lives.
How Do We Develop and Build Emotional Intelligence? If you're looking for the best way to build your emotional intelligence skills, I have just what will work. The first step should always involve understanding yourself and getting an accurate assessment of how wired up or down we are with our emotions on any given day so that they can be used in tandem-- strengths against weaknesses! This really helps us focus more efficiently, too, because by taking stock before starting anything new, it becomes easier instead of trying again only when things go wrong.
It may sound simple enough at this point: figure out where WE'RE strong.
Right now, it's important to understand your strengths and weaknesses, so you can be the best person possible. For example: if I know that my greatest strength is elegantly communicating complex ideas, but one of my worst traits is being disorganized, then using these two skills together could really help me!
I think emotional intelligence will also give us greater insight into who we are at our core - what makes us tick? How do other people see this side or trait about themselves, too-even though they might not realize why certain actions seem innate for them just yet... And with knowledge comes power-- understanding how YOU work can lead others down paths towards self-discovery as well because when someone finds out.
What Can Emotional Intelligence Do For Me at Work or in My Business?Daniel Goleman, an American psychologist says, there are five components of emotional intelligence. Here's how to apply the components at work:
Self-awareness is the ability to recognize your emotions and what triggers them. Knowing how others might feel about a situation helps bring empathy into work-life for better relationships with coworkers or clients alike! Being aware of these feelings also lets us more easily control our own emotional responses so that they don't affect those around us negatively; this then creates an overall more positive effect on everyone's lives (and job!).
Self-regulation is the ability to control and adjust your emotions to create a more positive situation. The best way to manage your emotions is by being in control of them. You are not hiding yourself or what you feel, but regulating when and how often they should be expressed so that the appropriate time for expressing ourselves will never come up without warning! People with this skill tend to have good self-control over themselves and know how to deal with conflict well by calming others down if need be.
A self-motivated leader is internally motivated and more focused to achieve goals, and their team also gets the same motivation. When a leader has this trait, it boosts employee morale, making them want to work hard for success as well! Whether you're an entrepreneur looking for success on your terms or working within a corporate culture and trying not to wake the sleeping giant that is beneath us all: we require some form of motivation from time to time.
Empathic leaders can connect with their team, understand what's happening in the organization and provide guidance. They also care about others on a personal level which generates respect from those under them for being honest about how they feel without fear or favoritism.
Empathy means understanding your employees' perspectives so that you can help identify areas where improvements could be made while still holding true values of yours as well!
Social skills are a must for good leaders because they need to be able to build and manage relationships. They interact with people in a helpful way, building networks of support for themselves while working on behalf of others at all times. These individuals are skilled communicators who help translate ideas into action using their incredible skill set, which includes great social skills!
How Do We Get SELLected? In business, we want our clients to be happy with their transactions. Well, not just happy, we want them to beg for what we have to offer. Here are a few tips you'll learn from this show.

What Can We Do to Have Joy and Clarity while Being Busy Entrepreneurs Finding joy and clarity is much more complex than changing your outlook. There are aspects like confidence, boundaries, and goals to help you stay on track with your business while taking care of yourself.
Key Ideas on Boundaries and Goals For you to set effective boundaries, you need to figure out what triggers them. Do you feel overwhelmed because your phone keeps ringing non-stop? Or do you have anxiety because you can’t seem to finish your tasks? Are you not happy because you haven’t had the time to practice self-care?
These are just some of the questions you can ask yourself to find what triggers your negative emotions. From here you can start setting boundaries. Some examples of boundaries you can try to implement are shutting off your phone when you’re at home, or strictly following a schedule for your meetings. Additionally, you can try adding self-care into your routine or weekly tasks.
Goal setting should not be scary, instead, it could be fun! When we set goals for ourselves, it’s important to ensure that they are attainable. It is also a great way to stay motivated to keep pushing ourselves. It’s a great way to design your life, live how you want to, and be able to take actionable steps to get there! One great way is to time-block your tasks. Multitasking won’t get you anywhere, so allocating a designated amount of time will help you achieve your goals. Topics on Pivoting Mindsets * 3 U’s of Mindsets * The Power of Mindsets * Slowing Down * Ken’s Productivity Secrets
Why Shift Our Mindsets? Would you believe me when I say that mindsets are our superpower? Before we talk about how we can shift our mindsets to lead us to success, we need to understand why it is such a powerful untapped tool we have.
Key Points to Shift Mindsets Mindsets are the way we perceive things, environments, and changes around us. It sounds daunting to change our mindsets as it is how we know to process things around us for years. But the fact that you want to learn and start knowing more about mindsets can be truly empowering.
How powerful can mindsets be? Let’s break down the chain reaction of our mindsets.
These emotions can have a positive or negative influence on how we feel
Essentially, mindsets help form beliefs, which are thoughts that we keep thinking over and over again. If we carry a certain belief throughout our lives, it will influence how we feel and our actions. Now, we can change and harness our mindsets to be more positive and empowering. This is one of the keys to success, the belief we have in ourselves, our capabilities, our ideas, and most importantly, our time. Freedom with our time, or freedom in any sense, can be achieved without burnout all through changing our mindsets.
Now, don’t forget to tune in to Episode 66 of Total Fit Boss Chick to understand the three U’s, underrating, underestimating, and underutilizing mindsets that are hindering us from empowering ourselves with our mindsets!

Moving Forward From Hardships Before we talk about what's discussed in this episode, we need to self-reflect. Are we ready to change? Do we want to change? We need to be honest with ourselves about what we're willing to do in order to know what we can do moving forward and break away from our toxic cycles.
Key Points to Enjoying Life One of the key points discussed in the episode that hinders us is our limiting beliefs.
The first step is to realize that we have limiting beliefs. It could be as simple as saying you don't have time to work on this or don't have the skills for this opportunity. This type of mentality immediately stops you from achieving your goals and hinders your growth!
Changing our mindset can be difficult, so let's take it one step at a time. We can change it by speaking to ourselves, which can help us be more resourceful. When we become resourceful, we will see opportunities we didn't realize were there before!
So, when you say you don't have time for something—state what you are putting your time to right now or throughout your schedule. Before you know it, you will notice that you do have time to work on things that will challenge you. A little tip, obstacles will seem big and large, but when you become resourceful and break them down, these hurdles will ensure that you will learn and grow!

How Do You Build Self-Discipline There are seven simple ways to build self-discipline, especially when you don't feel like it. Listen to the full episode 64 of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast to catch all of them!
Key Points on Simple Ways Change Your Identity
I know it sounds like a lot and maybe even too much, but it honestly starts here. We need to change our identity, what we believe we have and can achieve. If you don't think self-discipline is something you have and cannot build it, then it's something you really can't have it, you. Self-discipline is a skill and an action verb that requires you to put in the work. If we change our mindset so that we CAN build this skill, we will become more resilient, persevere through tough times and become stronger overall.
If you want to learn more about changing your mindset, I highly encourage checking out "Hack Your Mindset for MAssive Growth and Productivity" on Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast!
Start Small and Consistent
The best way to build self-discipline and apply it, especially when we need it most, is by starting small and staying consistent. You can do this by pairing self-discipline with your daily habits. Our habits are actions we do subconsciously, so when you pair it with a habit, it would be easier to develop and stick to self-discipline when you pair it with a habit.
If you want to take it a step further, you can check out the Habit Builder!
Let's Have a PlanOut of everything in this episode, I want you to understand you need to have a plan! It doesn't matter how much self-discipline or willpower you have if you don't have a direction or end goal!

Topics on Toxic Productivity * What It Is * You’re Not Alone * How To Determine the Signs * What We Can Do to HELP Ourselves * Staying Productive Without Toxicity
Take It One Day at A Time Let’s say we were able to tick off more than one of the indicators of toxic productivity. Now, here comes the important question, how do we stay productive without being toxic?
Key Points to Breaking the Cycle Before we start off, let’s put some reminders. Breaking the cycle is difficult, but not impossible. You shouldn’t invalidate your progress because there was one day you felt like you had toxic productivity. It is a journey, and trust me when I say I’m in it with you!
Balance and Integration
It is easier said than done. But we can do it! You can achieve that work-life balance by delegating tasks and responsibilities rather than just doing it by yourself. We need to remember that we’re not superheroes, and we can’t do everything. We’re human, and with that, we have our own strengths and weaknesses. With that being said, we need days where we stop and truly recharge.
A little tip is to ensure we have time for ourselves in our daily routine and that we plot a day in our week. This will help us integrate balance in our lives that we can actually maintain. Ensuring that we do this consistently is the key to actually integrating this into our lifestyles. In turn, you will stop feeling guilty for taking time out for yourself.
You can also start out slowly, maybe just schedule a break-in or treat yourself to a nice lunch out!
Set Boundaries
Setting boundaries will free up time for yourself and your loved ones! Being able to do this will help you set more time with friends and family and even work on the things you love to do. That could be painting, reading or even cooking!
Keep Your Eyes Open
One way to still be productive is to set goals for yourself. An important factor to keep in mind is that they are achievable goals! This is especially vital for our daily tasks that we want to accomplish.
It is also important to keep your eyes open for new opportunities. If you don’t like following plans, that’s totally okay! Things don’t always work our way, so it’s important that we learn from mistakes and are adaptable.
Be Kind To Yourself So, let’s take beating toxic productivity, and it’s cycle one day at a time!
I highly encourage you to grab yourself a FREE daily planner!
Let’s be kind to ourselves and take it one day at a time.

Topics on Embracing Progress * How to start letting go of perfect * More to Weight * Food * Positivity and Happiness * Embracing Opportunity * Productivity Secrets * Taking it One Day at a Time
Never Too Late to be ImperfectIt is never too late to start working on yourself. The most important thing I want you to understand is that when we let go of perfection we can embrace progress!
Key Points for WellnessWhat really matters is our happiness. It doesn’t matter what size or weight you are; you will never feel positive and content unless you genuinely accept yourself just as you are. Remember, it’s a journey where no one is taking the same exact path as you.
The first step is to change our mindsets. We need to realize that we can’t keep making excuses when it comes to our wellness. We also need to understand that we must let go of the idea of perfectionism because, to put it bluntly, it is just not a sustainable goal to have. We need to embrace progress, no matter how small, and be proud of ourselves!
Next, let’s define what weight we need to lose. There is more to weight than a number on a scale. We also need to consider the weight of stress, emotions, and goals. With these mental and emotional weights, we have to find a healthy balance! Also, remember that each of us is different, and so are our coping mechanisms!
Once that is done, we need to consider the energy we take in and take out. There is a way we can live a stress-free life.
Let’s Take It One Day At A Time! Our journey to wellness is not linear, and it can seem daunting. This is exactly why I suggest you take it One Day at a Time with a template set I created just for you!
I highly encourage you to get it, especially when you have a lot of chaos in your life right now; having things will help you find the time to focus on YOU and your WELLNESS!
Don’t worry. It’s a BONUS for you because you’re doing so well in your journey!

Bounce Back Even Better! It’s inevitable for us to have our low days. Especially when we don’t hit our targets, get the clients we want, or when it just seems like we’re not getting any closer to our goals. That’s totally normal, but we’re going over how to HOST your way to success!
Key Points of H.O.S.T. 1. Honor - hosting your business comes with honoring your “why.” It’s important for us to find out why and to honor this because we need to infuse this in every aspect of our business. This will become our North Star and will guide us throughout our growth journey. 2. Owning - Owning who you are at a certain point in time and your capabilities. It’s easy to get swept up in self-doubt and criticism where we end up second-guessing ourselves. So, it’s important to stand your own authority and claim what you have, what you will have, and who you are! 3. Shifting - Shifting perspective is when we realize that there are some self-imposed limiting beliefs. It’s vital for us to change our perspective and know that we can go beyond the threshold that we put ourselves into. 4. Take Inspired Actions - Things won’t change overnight. For us to get to our goals, we need to go through a very cyclical process before we really start to see any changes. So, don’t get burned out by taking inspired actions!

Key Points with SuccessGetting sucked up by the glamour of success can happen, and it happens to even the best of us! That got heavy really quick, so what are some things to keep in mind then? Let’s take it one roadblock at a time.
There’s going to be a time where we’re going to be full of self-doubt and maybe even turn to copycats just to keep up with the trends. But let me tell you that it’s going to be unfulfilling, you’re going to end up in a spiral that can lead to burnout, and one day you might just want to quit.

How Do You Do It? For us to have a business on social media depends on how well we market and sell our offerings, which is heavily dependent on the relationship you have with your current community!
Key Takeaways for Business on Social MediaDon’t be afraid to keep promoting.
If you have a service you want people to know about, don’t be shy and keep promoting it! I highly suggest promoting it daily. Sometimes if we alternate the dates, we will never know if it truly reaches the people who need it the most. So, go for it!
Sell understanding
A lot of content out there consists of quick tips to help address pain points that an audience can be facing. BUT, we need to consider that not everyone is at the same point in their journey as the next person. To truly help your audience, you need to make them understand that these are the pain points, the current limitations they can face, and the importance of doing certain actions to get them where they can be. Only through this can you develop a sustainable business based on services and products that truly change the lives of your audience.
Don’t feel sleazy.
I’m sure when it comes to sales a lot of us can feel uncomfortable, however, you don’t have to! Let me ask you a question, why would you feel sleazy when you’re trying to help someone? Hence, there’s absolutely no need to feel sleazy so go get that sale!
Community! Community! Community!
No matter how big or small your following is, I assure you that you can get sales. The most important bit is engaging with your current community. Take the time to understand where they’re truly coming from truly, their struggles, and what you can do to support them. With this, you can care for your audience that shape your content to be much more real and truly resonates.
I assure you, referrals and their word-of-mouth will lead you to growth!

Clutter, Habits and Systems! There’s always clutter somewhere. From paper clutter to digital clutter, let’s break down the key takeaways to getting organized.
Key Takeaways to Organization Systems and Habits!
The best way to reduce clutter is to always work towards it slowly. Only with consistency, you’ll be able to see the difference. You can grab yourself a Habit Builder right now while it's on promo! Having a system and making it a habit will help you actually get things organized with one small chunk at a time and not feel overwhelmed. In no time, it will become second nature!
Set a Reminder
It can be easy to forget to do things, especially with a busy schedule! I highly recommend setting an alarm or reminder for you to take some time and get organized. What most people think is that it’s going to eat up their time, but that’s not the case. Being organized will help you lessen the time you take to look for things, and won't leave you feeling overwhelmed and stressed!
Designate Areas and Folders
Paper clutter is something we all have. For example, there’s probably documents and files on the desk, in the room, by the dining table. It’s everywhere! I suggest having a dropzone, where all these papers will be put and have them organized in folders. You can build a similar system when handling emails and digital clutter!
Let’s Get Decluttering! I hope you are all geared up in beating perfection and getting to organizing. Make it easier for you by getting a Habit Builder now to jumpstart your organization journey. Keep tuning into Episode 57 of the Total Fit Boss Chick to get all the details of organizing your life and business!

How to Live Healthier When we say living healthier, it’s not only about working out, we also need to consider things like our diets and the amount of sleep we’re getting.
Key Points to Remember You can take it slow.
You don’t have to incorporate a full-body workout to do every day immediately! You can start by doing breathing exercises in the morning. From here you can do some light stretching or even go for a short walk. The important thing is that you are slowly incorporating it into your routine and giving yourself time to consistently ease into it.
Listen to your body!
Fitness is not a one-size-fits-all. Our bodies are all different, which means the extent of fitness, diet, and sleep we need to recover from the stress we put on our bodies will differ. If your body is screaming to sleep - drop what you’re doing and rest! Whatever you’re doing can wait because if you keep pushing your body, one day, your body won’t be able to keep up anymore.
Weight is NOT the goal.
Losing weight does not automatically mean that you’re healthier. A lot of people try to go through unhealthy methods to lose weight within 30 days or less. However, the real goal you need to be focusing on is slowly working on your body so that it is healthy in the long term. This will ensure that you are confident, sharp, and have the energy to work on and be with people that mean the most to you.
Find the right diet!
There’s a lot of diets out there on social media. A lot of the time these are diets we take on without knowing if they’re really the diets we SHOULD be doing to reach our goals. Moreover, we don’t even know if they are good for our bodies. The perfect diet for you is one that enables you to eat healthy, to enjoy what you’re eating, gives you energy, and ultimately makes you happy.

How to Launch Your Book? A lot of people have amazing ideas they want to get out in the world. However, not many people go through with it. There could be many reasons why they don’t, but most commonly, it’s because they don’t know where to start. There are more than two elements you should take note of when writing. Make sure you tune in to episode 54 of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast to get to know all the elements and details!
Key Elements to Consider When Writing Book Outline
One of the reasons why people have such a hard time writing or even starting is because they don’t know where to start and where to take their ideas. However, like in every journey, you need a map to guide you. The first element you need to consider is a book outline. It should indicate what your ideas are and how they flow together. This will also help you visualize where you want to take your audience.
Reason
The second element you need to figure out is the reason you’re writing. Answer the “why”. This will help you establish your target audience. Figure out what problems your target audience is facing and how you can relate that to your book. Most importantly, how can your book become a safe space to learn ways to overcome their pain points. Answering the “why” will help you write a book beneficial for your reader and, more significantly, a book FOR them.

If you want to dive into email marketing, you really need to have an automated way to do it, or else it will be impossible! There are a lot of services out there, but a tip when picking a service is to consider your emailing list size. You can do some research on which service provider works best for you. However, if you’re a beginner, I highly suggest Flodesk!

Topics on Non-Boring Copy * Efficiently create content * Repurposing content * Planning and pillar content * Tips on writing copy * Mentoring moments
Write Copy that ConnectsSometimes we can stare at our screens yet have no idea where to start, but writing copy shouldn’t be that hard or boring! Here are a few tips to consider and look out for:
Non-Boring Copy Key Points : * Keep Focus + You can write a lengthy blog but remember to keep it focused! Similar to having SEO words into your blog - remember to not stray too far from your main point. + A great way to help you is to plan ahead and have an outline. If you don’t have the time, write down your main point at the top of your page to constantly remind you what each sub-topic should relate to. * Use Templates + There’s loads of templates out there. If you’re having trouble finding one, you can ask a copywriting coach if they offer templates. + Don’t copy it though! A template is just that - you need to customize it to fit your content, who you are and your audience. Use it as a guide instead of using it exactly how you got it. * Write How You Talk + I’m sure you know a lot of business jargon or even jargons related to your niche - but you have to remember that not everyone in your audience does. The best way to connect to your audience is to communicate as if you’re casually talking to them! It’s easier to relate to and understand what you’re trying to say. + It’s a great way to personalize your content. Your audience stays because of who you are, so, stay true to your brand and write in a voice that is similar to how you converse daily.
Let’s Get to Writing! Listen to “Easy Ways to Write Non-Boring Copy”, episode 51 only at Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast! Let’s get into the nitty-gritty of content creation and how to maximize our conversion with copywriting.

Topics We Discussed About Little Known Tips, Tricks, and Hacks to Build Your Brand:* We solve a listeners problem with brand and clarity, with a small budget and little time * Building an easy effective sales funnel * Cutting edge marketing techniques * How to save time with AI * Rock’s productivity secrets * Mentoring moment
Listeners Corner:Here’s what a listener Kayla wrote into the show Here’s a Hey Brentney, I’m Kayla stay at home mom of three and side hustler. I’m loving the podcast and I have learned to be more productive because of it. However, I’ve recently shifted my business and I feel a little lost and confused. I need help with branding and clarity. How do I pivot without stopping? The second question is how can I do all this with a small budget and very little time. Between you and your guest I’m sure you’ll have a solution for me…look forward to it!
Rock answers Kayla like this,
“First you have to really sit down and examine what the end goal is. That is a big problem that a lot of pivoting entrepreneurs have because they see the vision of the new direction.
They don't know the actual steps to get there. So first step. The end goal and see what are the most, pretty much the easiest path to get there as well as the most attainable path. So whether that's you starting at a lower scale and slowly building that way. So for, as a brand, you start slowly introducing that brand to your audience, like showing them the new side of what you're becoming.
For example, when I was stepping into the vending machine game. I was sprinkling that in my audience here and there. And so that's something you can really do to prepare them for that pivot. And then as you grow and you give more content that way you can start implementing more within your business, as far as the budget side of things, you really got to examine what you're willing to give up to, to get to that end goal as well.
So I know you're, I know Kayla is. Pretty much crunched for time, but you're really going to have to use those very small available increments to get a lot done. Whether that's creating content, engaging for 15 minutes here and there, really developing an automation strategy because at the beginning of a new business or you're pivoting, you're not going to do to automate your entire process,
so maybe instead of course, you're your lead management. In the beginning of doing social media. So you can work on the back end of your business and you understand what I'm saying. So that's why you have to really pick and choose where you automate in the beginning of going forward with a new business.”
How Do We Set Up Emails That Benefit Our Marketing? Here Are The Steps:
The example Rock provided:
“ If your audience is struggling with weight loss and you have a fitness coach funnel, you give them maybe a checklist of, seven ways to eat healthier.” This assures your customers that there is a solution to their problem!

How Do We Listen to Our Intuition? Our intuition is like an internal monologue we have with ourselves. With that, it can be confusing to figure out if we’re actually listening to our ego or intuition, especially when we’re faced with an obstacle.
Key Takeaways to Differentiate Ego and Intuition The rule of thumb to differentiate the two is that our intuition is solution-focused. On the other hand, our ego is problem-focused. Since we’ve broken down the vitals of intuition throughout the episode, let’s highlight our ego.

How Do You Implement a CRS Campaign? Before we fabricate a seamless CRS campaign, what is CRS? CRS stands for corporate social responsibility and you most likely have already seen it! Is it just me, or isn't everyone trying to be more productive? Of course, we are all trying to do more in less time.
We’re discussing:
When we build great content full of helpful tips, tricks, hacks, reviews, and more, we want to make sure our audience doesn’t miss out on the good stuff. Research says it takes an average of 18 calls to actually connect with a buyer. It’s also been said that it takes 5-8 touches to get your audience’s attention. If we don’t want to work ourselves silly, we have to learn how to work smarter by repurposing content.
How to Work Smarter by Repurposing Content?
Repurposing is so ingenious! It allows us to tweak, revise, and alter all the heavy lifting we’ve already done so we can have more time to do what we really love! In a world where people require more, but we have less time, money, and energy, repurposing is the closest thing to cloning yourself!
Gel, goes into details, but here are some highlights of the conversation about repurposing:
Work Smarter by Repurposing Content with a Virtual Assistant
Sometimes you can’t do it all, and why should you? We can’t be productive and produce masterpieces when we’re too bogged down to be creative. Here are some best practices when working with a virtual assistant to help you repurpose.

More than all these topics, Dr.Eve also shared her little yet life-changing nuggets about what everyone goes through. And I think everyone has to have an intention about going on with the rejections and struggles.

These are some of her most thought-provoking quotes!

-"I think everything starts in the mind. Our mindset about is everything!"
-"We know what thoughts and feelings to prioritize, but none are more important than our own".

You don’t want to miss the:
I've been asked what has been my greatest regret in life. My answer lies in the question. My greatest regret has been not practicing living a life without regrets much sooner.
Not listening to my values and neglecting to live intentionally has then I regret mine in the past. I put this regret in the past because I've learned from this mistake. It's not a missed opportunity any longer. The thing is, we're constantly on a journey, and the moment that we think that we conquered it all, we’ve lost it all. Wouldn’t you agree?
What is your greatest regret? Do you remember what you wish you could do-over? One regret for me is waiting too long to start this podcast and living in fear of not know what to do, who will listen, what microphone, which podcast host?
If I would've procrastinated any longer and allowed myself to stand paralyzed by fear, I would say. I wish I had right now; instead, I'm able to say, I'm glad I did.
We discuss the seven ways to live more intentionally
We also discuss the beauty in making mistakes and letting go of the guilt that goes along with past mistakes.
Look, I’m going to be straight up. Living with no regrets takes bravery and heart, but I know you’ve got it in you.
I challenge you to live an intentional life with no regrets because you deserve it!

How can you create a brand that connects?

Not to mention, we’re discussing:
I know this sounds dreamy, right?! But it is possible!!
And here’s the really cool part, this podcast will tell you "HOW!"
Have you ever wondered why the caramel macchiato tastes the same in whichever branch of Starbucks?
Believe it or not, workflow systems are woven into the fabric of everything we do. Systems can help determine how far we can excel and scale in both life and business. Workflow systems help give us consistency. It helps us build focus, organization, and better data.
And I’m not going to lie to you, there are tons of misconceptions about workflow systems, but Jordon clears it up for us. Check this out if you are someone looking to learn about creating and adhering to a workflow system that helps you free up your time and energy so you can do more of what you want to do.
Once you’ve established a workflow system, you’ll be ready to enter into the business model we’ve all been so excited to explore.
Okay, I know you’re wondering, how can we make six figures working only four days a month.
NOW, THAT'S HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE, RIGHT?!
But doesn’t it sound impossible?
I know I thought the same thing. But, I’ll let you in on a secret, there’s a little-known business model for service providers.
Can you guess what it is? It’s called a VIP Day!
So what is a VIP DAY?
It’s a full day spent with one client or a very small group via virtual or in-person intensive. So here’s an example of a VIP Day. Let’s say you’re a systems strategist. You might design a plan, outline, create a workflow system, set up automation, and develop strategies for scaling the business.
Offering VIP Days might just be just what you need to free up your time, give your clients massive results faster than thought possible while putting something like $995-$9995 in your pocket for the day for each client.
I know if you’re like me, you still be skeptical, especially trying to figure it all out on your own. That’s why I partnered with one of the best in the world of VIP Days to offer a Virtual VIP Day Bootcamp.
Or take the quiz to find out what type of VIP Day you should offer!

Since we're honest, I’ve been known to wake up at 3 a.m. with the most fantastic idea ever. It's no surprise; my best thoughts come while I sleep or while I am in the shower while I’m driving. That happens to be the most creative time for most of us. Our state of mind is just in the perfect space to create.
But how creative can you be when you’re trying to remember everything else?
I hate to break it to you but, you can’t keep everything in your head. We aren't built that way. We are meant to be creative and create. Constantly thinking and not doing puts our minds in distress.
Just in case you were wondering how to quiet your brain and get things done (GTD) Here's the breakdown:
Bam! It's that simple!
Shh! Here's the secret sauce to getting things done is honestly not about getting things done. It’s finding places to free up your brain and clear your head so you can let your attention go whatever it is you want to put it.

Here are some of the details we are going to talk about today:
Here’s how it all began; Tameka says one afternoon she sat down with her laptop and got really clear on her business structure. She wrote out things like, what is it that I offer? How much am I going to charge? Then, she developed the story behind it. She suggests asking yourself questions like:
Of course, so many of us struggle with perfectionism, and we feel like we have to have everything just perfect before we get started; however, this episode will tell you something different. Getting started and working through things helps you niche down and become clearer on what you're offering.
Believe it or not, your Instagram bio and page should act as a website for your personal brand, even if you don't have one. Tamika says that even though she made money quickly in her business, she still made lots of costly Mistakes by over-analyzing herself and what she calls getting lost in the sauce. She found herself struggling with being too self-analytical and the Imposter syndrome. In this episode, you will hear the best ways to stay in your zone of Genius so you will avoid over criticizing yourself.
Despite what you might have heard, people buy from you because it comes from you. I
Seth Godin once said, "People do not buy goods and services. They buy relations, stories, and magic."

Amanda Warfield, a simplicity focus time management and business strategist as well as a host of Chasing Simple podcast, joined me as we discuss:
Here’s something we can all agree on.
You guessed it!
Simplicity should be simple.
Here’s why that phrase is so important.
We quite often say we want to make things simple, but we end up overthinking.
Overthinking is a very easy thing to do! You can literally overthink your breakfast! Frosted Flakes, Cheerios...or a smoothie, or maybe Waffles???
If we overthink small things like that then we most definitely overthink the big things.
There is a fine line between being well prepared and overthinking. Of course, you’ll want to do certain things like plan ahead or make sure somethings are correct, but you don’t want to overwhelm yourself.
As soon as we start overthinking and overwhelming ourselves, we start to make things more complicated than they have to be.
Let go of the past
Simplicity seems so easy, but there’s a catch you have to allow it to work. Let me guess, you are worried about it being perfect? The goal is not to be perfect it's consistency!
The trick is to create a routine and do it long enough to see what tasks are reoccurring that you can batch together to be more productive.
Amanda and I discussed one of the greatest time suckers for entrepreneurs is creating content. She talks about how she was overwhelmed with the process of content creation.
Finally, she realized she was spinning her wheels, and she found a way to simplify. As a matter of fact, she simplified everything, including her closet. Are you happy with the time that you spend creating content?
Is your closet full of items you can no longer wear, or you just don’t wear anymore?
To sum everything up, when we step back in, stop overcomplicating things. We can find ways to make our lives and our business more straightforward.
Simplifying your life sounds amazing, doesn't it?
So, what do you think; could you use more simplicity as an entrepreneur?

Adora Drake a Digital Marketing Consultant who helps B2B Businesses attract more clients, build brands online, and generate more revenue joins me on the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast to discuss:
When it comes to our business, we need need to establish trust. Trust is always important, right?
Remember the Know, Like, and TRUST factor?
Business Insider has repeatedly ranked LinkedIn as The most trusted network that protects their privacy and data, followed by Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.
With that being said, we may want to show up on the most trusted platform.
Get this, 15% of all job applications in the U.S. went to remote jobs in November 2020. More decision-makers, influencers, and entrepreneurs are working from home. Therefore, our online connections have become more critical than ever for business this year.
LinkedIn received 30 billion sessions from its members, and that number isn't doing anything but growing!
What do you think about LinkedIn?

We’re discussing:
Of course, it's true. Time is of the essence, and we struggle with spending hours on end, creating, engaging, and growing. More and more entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, mompreneurs, thispreneurs, and thatpreneurs, including side gig hustlers, are emerging every day. We have to find new ways to manage our energy. Time management and energy management are crucial not just for our businesses but for ourselves as well.
I don’t know anybody raising their hand to be overwhelmed.
Spending eight hours a day on social media can be detrimental to your productivity.
However, we all love the benefits of social media, and we definitely love the growth and authority that it provides to us. Unfortunately, we don't all have the time to dedicate to building a social media fortress organically. Or sometimes, we want to step up our game and run targeted ads to people who are already interested in what we have to offer to maximize our organic efforts.
So what do you when you done have the time? Or you just want to level up!
Studies say one out of every three Instagram are users have made a purchase after discovering a new product on Instagram, and there are 1 billion monthly active users.
I'm no math whiz, but that's telling me that’s a lot of Cho-Cho's!
84% of people on Instagram are more likely to shop from small businesses.
“Nobody counts the number of ads you run; they just remember the impression you make.”

Today we're discussing:
This show is different from any of the other shows in the past. However, it won’t be the last of its kind. This entire show is dedicated to a listener’s question named Amanda, a single mom and Project Manager of 10 who is afraid of being a part of her company’s next layoff.
“What can I be doing to protect myself? And it's something that all of us should be thinking about is how you can protect yourself.”
-Trevor Crump
We have all been touched by the pandemic, recession, or race relations in some way. Yet some of us haven’t diversified our income yet.
Below is a small list of some companies who have laid off or furloughed hundreds and hundreds of thousands of jobs.
Cineworld, American Airlines United Airlines, Lufthansa, Delta Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Goldman Sachs, Boeing, AT&T, NBCUniversal, L Brands, the parent company of Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works, JCPenney, Wells Fargo, Walgreens, Daimler, LinkedIn, Oil giants Shell, Exxon, Disney, Ralph Lauren, WarnerMedia, Allstate, Carnival Cruise, Raytheon, Kohl's, Dell, Citigroup, MGM Resorts, Coca-Cola, Salesforce, and many more.
We did not cover all the ways to recession-proof our lives on the podcast. However, here a few additional ways to survive a recession.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T Acronym
R stands for RESET
This past year we’ve learned to reset and pivot our goals, needs, and priorities. We've learned to raise the necessity, and not just hope but do.
Reset your mind and raise your expectations:
Take what you learned in 2020 and what you didn’t like and reset them in 2021.
We could be highly successful, but if we have no fulfillment we’re just going through the motions.
"A person can make himself happy, or miserable, regardless of what is actually happening 'outside,' just by changing the contents of consciousness.”
- Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi
Let’s not just focus on what we want to achieve, but who do we want to be? Think adjectives not just nouns.
Think about an engaged parent, an active listener, a productive entrepreneur, a high performing human.
When you think of Total Fit Boss Chick as a team or me as Brentney Parks, I want to be known as an engaging teacher that inspires greater fulfillment, productivity, and high performance passively.
Are you excited about your family, hobbies, business, or maybe new possibilities?
What do you need to reset or change to get there?
Is it limited thoughts? Is it your time allocation? Maybe your skills.
I suggest taking out a pen and paper and writing down what you want to be known for, who do you want to represent in 2021 and beyond.
Better yet put it in a journal and set your intentions, and reflect on it daily.
So R is for Reset your mind Raise your need, desires, and expectations.
E stands for EDUCATE.
This past year we've learned the need to educate ourselves, whether it's strengthening our skills or educating ourselves on what's going on around us. We must always be learning and honing in on our desires to grow and teach others.
For example,
If you didn’t like the instability of your job, create a profitable side gig.
If you have a side gig, but it hasn’t been profitable, change it in 2021.
What are the top skills you need to grow, develop, or create to make that change?
List 3-5 skills you need to input so you can alter the output.
It doesn’t matter if it’s getting to your ideal weight, learning a new language, or starting a business.
What do you need to learn to reach your goals? If you want to have a great email list, you would want to learn to write better copy. Maybe you want to be known for your awesome new podcast; then you want to learn how to speak to your audience in a way they want to listen, or maybe you want to learn to be a better communicator so you would study how to be an active listener or the importance of power words.
Again, E is for EDUCATE. What education or skills do you need to become who you want to represent?
S stands for SET BOUNDARIES
Setting boundaries is a necessity when we are going after what we want. In case anyone needs the reminder, it’s ok not to say “yes” to everything. It’s ok to say, “no.” You have to say “no” so you can say “yes” to more things you want to say “yes” to.
If you have a history of being a people pleaser, it'll be harder at first but practice saying “no.”
How many times have you given up your time for someone or something else?
How many times have you checked social media or even your email before setting your own plans into action for the day?
How many times have you taken a phone call or any other interruption when you weren’t really available to talk?
How many times have you tried to multitask because you were overwhelmed and you thought it’d help you catch up?
Create a space of discipline and create boundaries to:
So S is for SETTING BOUNDARIES a necessity when we are going after what we want.
P stands for PRODUCTIVITY
Earlier this year, we discussed the difference between being productive and busy. Also, we learned that busy doesn’t equate to productivity; results equate to productivity.
What action steps do you need to create to make your goals a reality.
Productivity isn’t just about getting work done. It’s about making consistent strides in the most critical areas of your life.
This includes plowing down the need to be perfect and taking action. We are productive when we are focused and not frantic when we are relaxed and not rushed.
Productivity is choosing important over urgent and trading perfection for purpose.
If it’s important, it belongs on the calendar.
Schedule your tasks and block them out on your calendar.
Schedule time to increase your education, rest and reset your thoughts, schedule your work, and play.
P is for PRODUCTIVITY to schedule what matters most and consistently make strides toward them.
E stands for ENERGY
We have learned to maintain high energy by managing our productivity highs and lows in our day. We have to plan according to our energy levels and take breaks.
Know your Circadian rhythm, are you:
The morning bird peaks between 4-5 am and again at 8 am but drags a bit in the afternoon.
The afternoon lark peaks between 8 am and 12 pm and are perfect for corporate jobs.
The night owl peaks in the afternoon but will drag in the mornings.
Despite our situation, our mindset/energy is what will drive our response/what comes next. It is essential to be well-rested so that our work is always the best it can be.
Listen to your energy and allow yourself the ability to:
Be grateful for everything.
Think positive
Meditate or Pray
Be present in your life.
Be accountable and responsible.
Your energy level affects your mindset. Your mindset affects your productivity. Lack of productivity dampens your fulfillment and your joy.
E is for our ENERGY, which is the driving force to our joy.
C stands for CONNECT and COMMUNITY
We have discussed having the courage to ask for help, connect with like minds and build a community, and challenge ourselves not to complain about the struggle but understanding it's all a part of the process to greatness.
It’s not always “how to” complete a task it’s “who” can help us get it done. Who can we connect with to mutually grow, learn, and earn?
How can we connect to our desires so they align with our priorities?
We must continuously look for members to grow our community to motivate us and inspire us beyond our expectations.
So, C is for having the courage to build a connection and growing a community.
T stands for THOUGHTS and clarity
This year we have learned to seek clarity constantly.
Who do we want to be?
How do we want to be perceived?
What do we want to be known for?
How can we serve?
Thoughts generate a vision that creates clarity that fuels our intentions! When we have clear intentions, we can achieve whatever we envision.
The acronym R.E.S.P. E. C. T. that we just discussed is the driving force to my new webinar for entrepreneurs who are tired of the chaos in their business and are ready to operate in a state of FLOW so you can spend less time working on your business than you do enjoy your business. I understand feeling overwhelmed and unable to soar because of being bogged down by busywork.
Actually, plan a year of relevant content in one day that your audience is screaming to know.
Reduce working time up to 50% but produce greater results.
Convert that audience into paying clients without spending all of your precious time on social media.

Sometimes, when we read an email or when we are doing different things in life, somebody says something to us. That's hurtful. We need to stop and think about the perspective. Where are they coming from? How do they see things? Am I missing something?
When you're able to see straight lines as a 3d shapes when you're able to see a glass of water and not have to measure how much is in it to know that there's still opportunity. It doesn't have to be half empty or half full, but the very fact that there is a droplet that's left.
There's enough to work with; the way we perceive things is how we receive things.
A gentleman who suffered from complications of COVID lost every finger and every toe, and his entire limbs. His arms were missing, and so are his legs, but he was so grateful to be alive.
His perspective on life is priceless. This man lived alone. So he had no support or anything else. He didn't know how he was going to live his life. But the only thing that he focused on was the fact that he still had life.
It's not about what you want. It's what you have when you start loving and appreciating what you do have in living in the moment of what you do have. It's what changes everything in life.
See, some of us see the word impossible.
And that's all we see is impossible. But at the same time, others of us see I'm possible.
It just depends on your perspective. If you perceive it to be impossible. It will be impossible, yet if you see that same word as being, I'm possible that's what it'll be to you.
When you truly value yourself, you give yourself the best. When you perceive that you deserve the best, you give yourself the best.
Not only do you give yourself the best, you give out the best? You filter out the negative things; you filter out the people in the negative thoughts that compromise that value.
Alter your perspective until you receive what you believe.
“To change ourselves effectively, we first had to change our perceptions.” ― Stephen R. Covey
What are your thoughts about perspective?

We’re discussing:
• How to be a positive light to others
• Overcoming fear
• Reaching self-confidence and how to make a living doing it.
There’s a massive difference between self-confidence and self-acceptance. Self-confidence is more about your skills and abilities. Some areas we can really ace and other areas we struggle in. Self-acceptance is where you love and accept yourself flaws and all you see your weakness as a means for growth, but you celebrate your strengths.

How many times have you gotten an email that was so irritating you immediately unsubscribed?
I think I lost count at 2 million! 😂🤣😂
It can make you cringe just thinking about figuring out what value, motivation, or exciting thing you can provide to your readers so they will see you as and someone they're looking forward to receiving emails from versus someone on the verge of an unsubscribe.
Don’t think that because writing emails to your audience can be dreadful that it’s not important.
A recent Oberlo article says For every $1 you spend on email marketing, you can expect an average return of $42.
Another report says $44 per $1, so we're going in the right direction!
The same article says email users are expected to grow to 4.3 billion people by 2023.
Yikes!
That’s half of the world’s population!

Today we’re discussing:
Studies show that 85% of our population suffers or has suffered from low self-esteem.
With low self-esteem, we know anxiety can definitely play a big role. The global numbers of diagnosed anxiety are 284 million people. Those numbers are only the individuals who’ve actually been recorded.
Study and research also continue to say that those numbers aren’t doing anything but climbing.
Look, social media and other factors can do a number on your self-confidence.
Just as soon as you think you got things in the bag, your buddy releases a new widget, becomes a bazillionaire, cures world hunger, buys an island, you know what I mean. Whatever it is to make you second guess your success.
Success coach Kevin Nehai is chatting with me about how he’s used his own struggles with overcoming personal issues — from battling a chronic illness, anorexia, to overcoming anxiety and depression to a thriving speaker and entrepreneur.
Look, you’re unstoppable sometimes; we just need a reminder of just how unstoppable we are.
Running a business and organizing your time can sometimes be more stressful than working a traditional job for an employer. We tend to work longer hours, affecting work-life balance, such as self-care, proper sleeping habits, healthy habits, and sleep patterns.
So, of course, it’s no surprise as entrepreneurs, we are more susceptible to anxiety and depression. If you are a business owner or thinking about starting a business, this show is a must-listen!

He also teaches seminars/workshops and delivers speeches at conferences, businesses, and schools on the topics above. Everything he speaks about stems from overcoming his own personal issues — from battling a chronic illness and anorexia to overcoming anxiety and depression, enduring toxic relationships, and learning what healthy relationships actually look like. His focus is giving his audience real, practical, actionable tools and steps that they can use to get the things they want in their lives.

A message from Elena:
Nowadays, I spend my 9-5 running corporate sales for Lyft’s automotive division and my 5-9 + weekends are spent building my latest project: the Side Gig Central website and podcast. (Which you’re lookin’ at it right now!)
Prior to working at Lyft, I bootstrapped and led my own in-home personal training company for ten years from zero to six figures.
In a meta sorta way, I’m experiencing side gig entrepreneurship right along with you. As I write each post and record each podcast during my official “off the clock” hours, I’m also striving to get closer to achieving side gig nirvana, that elusive place where your side gig eventually turns into the most fulfilling full-time gig ever.
