Catholic Radio serving the Diocese of Laredo presents Special Episode #1 of The Word & Music (TW&M)! Our Lady of Refuge Youth Ministry and Sister Parishes in Eagle Pass had a day-long Youth Rally on May 19th titled, “You Are My Freedom”. The service team drew inspiration for the event from Psalm 118:5, “Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered and set me free.” Over 200 youth participated in the event, which aimed to help free them from anything holding them back from their personal encounter with God, including family conflicts/division, and the worldly pressures of today’s society. Youth from 6 grade to 12 grade were guided by Father Jesse Esqueda, OMI, to let God be the answer to any challenge, allowing them to be free to heal and grow in faith and in The Lord.
