Personal Development podcast that aims to inspire people to be better and become better that's the main objective. We use our voice as a catalyst for the better!
Join us for the final episode of our podcast, a heartfelt farewell from Manny and Joseph. As we turn the last page of this chapter, we reflect on the incredible journey we've embarked on together.
In this finale, Manny and Joseph look back at the growth, laughter, and lessons learned throughout the episodes. This podcast has been more than just a series of conversations; it's been a journey of self-discovery and personal evolution.
Life, however, brings changes. With shifting priorities and time commitments, maintaining the consistency of the podcast has become a challenge. This episode delves into these changes and the decision to embrace new paths.
Manny and Joseph express deep gratitude to you, our listeners, for your unwavering support and engagement. Your involvement has made this journey truly special.
As we say goodbye to the podcast, remember that this isn't the end of the adventure. Manny and Joseph are excited about what's next and encourage you to always pursue your passions with curiosity.
Thank you for being a part of our story. Tune in one last time to celebrate the memories and look forward to new horizons.
Join us this week as Joseph shares a hilarious yet enlightening tale about his recent car escapade. Ever tried to master the art of navigating roundabouts smoothly? Joseph sure did, but not without stalling... twice! 🚗💨 But it's not just a story about driving; it's a journey into the world of personal development. Dive into the nuances of how the perception of others can sometimes challenge our confidence and dictate our willingness to try again. We've all been there, right? Whether it's a roundabout or a life challenge, it's all about getting back in the driver's seat and pushing forward. So, buckle up, listeners! This episode promises a blend of laughter, life lessons, and the age-old question: To stall or not to stall? 🔄🚦😂
In our deep dive, we'll also touch on the concept of marginal gains. You know that feeling when you're learning something new, and you're making leaps and bounds, and then... it plateaus? It's like you're stuck in the slow lane, watching everyone else zoom by. But here's the thing: those plateaus? They're a natural part of the journey. They're the moments where we consolidate our learning, where we build resilience, and where we prepare for the next surge forward. It's all about recognizing and celebrating those small, incremental improvements that, over time, lead to massive growth. So, whether you're navigating the roads or the winding paths of personal development, remember: every little gain counts! 📈🌱

Gear up to supercharge your thinking in this week's episode of our podcast! In 'The Dance of Dynamics: High Energy vs Low Energy & Consumption vs Creation,' we, Manny and Kutler, invite you to join our candid discussion on the fascinating contrast between high and low energy, and their roles in our lives. Are you the life of the party, radiating high-energy vibes, or do you resonate more with the calming, low-energy aura?
We go beyond our daily experiences with energy levels, connecting them to the broader concept of consumption and creation. In today's world where scrolling, binging, and consuming content has become second nature, we challenge ourselves, and you, to think about the importance of creating and contributing.
In this episode, we share our thoughts on how high energy can potentially turn the tide from mindless consumption towards more meaningful creation. But we're not blind to the challenges—balancing energy, avoiding burnout, and maintaining our mental health in a high-energy, always-on society is just as crucial.
We're no experts, just two friends trying to make sense of our world. As we ride the waves of energy levels and try to untangle the consumption vs creation conundrum, we welcome you to join us in this raw and unfiltered conversation. We hope our chat inspires you, sparks a thought, or maybe even motivates you to start your own conversation!

Joseph proposes the question, is it possible to truly live out your dream job while Manny ponders why it is that many people find conveying their strengths to be a difficult thing. Is it down to lack of confidence, avoiding cockiness or perhaps it is as a result of the times we live in? Topics such as motivation, dream goals and perfectionism are also covered in the context of one's career, with Manny and Joseph operating at differing ends of the spectrum when it comes to their outlook on a couple of these. Welcome back to The DMC podcast, in today's episode we talk about ways to step out of your comfort zone. This is no easy thing to do, it can be a struggle to step out of it consciously, the feelings of fear, uncertainty and doubt start to make you question taking on an uncomfortable challenge in front of you. Although, Manny and Joseph speak about this and how they overcame the vices and adversities they met along the way. They reflect on where they would do things differently since they acknowledge their decisions at the time may have not been the best possible way but embrace the fact and how the consequences of their actions have led them to get to where they are today.

Welcome back to The DMC podcast, in today's episode we reminisce over the years of university and what the whole experience was like. Though university isn't always sunshine and rainbows there are moments whereby it can be hard and painful, Joseph and Manny talk about these moments and how they wish to navigate them again if they were to arise. Joseph drops a few gems on how he was able to make friends and what he did make himself have a truly wonderful experience at university, I'd be sure to listen to him as an individual he has been able to maintain great relationships and made the most of his university career. Manny similar does the same but it seems his experience is so great he doesn't have ANY regrets clearly he's done something wrong there hasn't he? LOOOL jokes aside they both talk passionately at length about university and graduating as a collective, what an amazing occasion - congratulations to Kutler & Manny! you boys smashed it!

In today's episode, we wanted to switch things up and use what happened to us this week to dictate how we will go about the podcast. Competitiveness and competition were a big part of our week hence we decided to talk about it. Competitiveness is an itch that needs to be scratched although there are times when it can come at a detriment, going for jobs against over people would be a place whereby it seems that competitiveness would be advantageous however you'd be surprised especially in assessment centres its the ease in which you work with others and can collaborate that gets you further. Manny and Joseph mention their own experiences and how they maintain a competitive mindset in order to go after their own goals and objectives.

In today's episode, we discuss the importance of accountability. This comes in part due to the Manny Vlogs which Manny has been doing constantly for the last week or so. Having personal accountability is super important however this can be very short-lived whereas if we used the people around us to be accountable then we tend to do more because we feel an obligation to uphold such promises. This can also be useful to break bad habits, willpower is something that fluctuates using accountability to break bad habits is significant to make these changes.

In today's episode, we discuss the impacts of seasonal depression and staying positive. Staying positive is a constant battle, some days staying positive is going to feel as if you are travelling uphill other days it feels as if you are walking downhill is very subjective and sometimes it can be harder than you anticipated. Due to the weather getting better and Manny's recent Instagram stories we wanted to tap into what Seasonal Depression and Seasonal Affective Disorder is and how it impacts the people around us, as we see the weather improve we also are aware of the fact that our emotions and feelings seem to be more positive. We wanted to use today's episode as a means to help uphold and self regulate a more positive environment.

In today's episode we discuss the impacts of failure and the way we are able to convince ourselves of how we perceive things to be. Results have come out for the first semester for many of us and we can either use these results for fuel or we can have a defeatist attitude to things and let them spiral out of control, we discuss how the past results and references can impact a person's life and ways to reduce the negative effects of the results from our past. In today's episode, we explore the ideas associated with caring less. Caring less about what people think and being considerate. This is something we all have challenges with where we tend to be on a spectrum of not caring at all or caring too much. By request of a viewer we figured why not revisit the ideas we may have explored in episode 46 and what has changed, we also discuss our own levels of care and whether we care more about what those around us think or if we take into consideration what strangers think more. Welcome back to the DMC podcast, in today's episode we discuss overthinking. Overthinking is something that some individuals experience more than others, why? Is it due to uncertainty? What kind of uncertainty? Uncertainty about ourselves or scenarios or in some cases both. Projecting into the future and trying to future proof things for every single detail is futile, the more you give it thought the more you lose yourself from being in the moment, as Joseph mentions "ignore the fluff" and from there move forthrightly without worrying about anything as the worrying will only contribute to a lack of self-confidence and belief. Manny and Joseph both talk about their perspectives on overthinking and how we can all manage overthinking a lot better. We hope you guys can take something away from this episode! Pressure make diamonds is the phrase we hear very often but is pressure always a necessity to perform at a top level? This is an idea Joseph and Manny explore in today's podcast, as well as how pressure has an influence on individuals whether it can reinforce positive and better decisions or if it may have an adverse effect on others. They both delve into methods on how to mitigate or reduce the effect on individuals - creating mock environments, detaching yourself from outcomes - just to name a couple.

Leadership isn’t something that is done in one way or one form. There are different types of leaders, some lead by example, some are very charismatic, confident and individuals who carry themselves in a way that you gravitate towards them. Nevertheless, in both cases, there's something about both of those types of leaders that they share in common and that is there’s an aura around them they have which makes you want to listen to what they say. In this episode, Joseph and I also discuss where we've been able to successfully get ourselves into the role of leadership and how we encountered some of the struggles that we had in those roles and what it's like to be able to communicate with different parties.

Welcome back to the DMC podcast, in today's episode we speak about the future and the weight it holds against the present. Manny and Joseph do come to a crossroads in the discussion when discussing the value of the future and how it maps up against the present - they both present very interesting points but what side do you lean on? They also discuss how far into the future they look into and why it might be better to be a little vaguer as you look further into the future. Joseph mentions something really interesting about the number of "first times" a concept I didn't personally take into consideration but was super valuable and great to hear!

Welcome back to the DMC podcast, in today's podcast we talk to not one but two very special guests Kannan and Talha. Kannan has the background of coming to England at 10 years old from France and since then stayed in the UK until last year whereby he moved to South Korea to study abroad. Talha on the other hand has moved quite a few times, living in Pakistan for 4 years and then moving to the United Arab Emirates. Talha then came to the UK to pursue a career in Computer Science, he had the opportunity to go to Canada to also study abroad and he jumped to the proposal and spent time there yesterday. So today we have the privilege to talk to two very well-travelled individuals and with travelling comes many emotions, difficulties and dynamics. We mention how they both handled their personal struggles as well as upheld all of their relationships whilst being so far away from their families. Before we jump into this, I just want to say a big thank you for the suggestion for this week's episode!
Solution Building and conflict resolution are both skills essential and necessary throughout our lives, along the way though we may stumble into a few people which may inhibit us from doing so. How do we deal with this? Have you noticed yourself receiving or giving out criticism without a solution? Why was it necessary to do so? All these questions are one's we go into during the podcast and try to delve into, in some cases, it is required to do so. We want to get into the mindset behind this and propose ways to try and move away from this!
We hope you guys can take something away from this episode!

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we discuss how to find your passion/passions. This is something that was suggested by a viewer of the podcast, thank you! As time goes on we believe you can add to your passion and perhaps even subtract to them. Passions usually come about through the forms of the habits and hobbies you participate in however Manny and Joseph give an interesting take on how to find your passion/passions and it takes the form of something unconventional.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we discuss a lot about football... You have been warned! This is because the euros did spur on the conversation about togetherness as we saw the country come together throughout the tournament. It was a wild ride and unfortunately, England was not successful in Bringing it Home but nevertheless, they connected with us all and really contributed to the feeling of companionship which flooded the country. Moreover, we discuss how we can promote more togetherness at work and what already occurs in the workplace to do this, this also applies to those in more of an academic setting too with respect to school and university. Manny and Joseph have their say on teambuilding exercises and their honest opinions on what goes on.

We know supporting others can take many different forms and we go into detail about each category that we establish within the episode which is deemed a form of support. Joseph and Manny mention what types of support best suits them as individuals and why we have the tendency to try and impose the ways we wish to be supported onto those around us.
We also got to an interesting debate about how you may change your advice for friends vs family? If you had a friend and a family member in the same scenario what things would be different and why? Message us on Instagram with your response!

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we have decided to spice things up a bit we decided to change the co-host of today's podcast. Juliette Howard is an old friend of Joseph's who we had to privilege to bring on to the show to talk about simplicity and how social media has interrupted the dynamic of complexity. Consumer-focused/driven content on these platforms are becoming more accessible as people seem to oversimplify the things they produce. Although, the accessibility and exposure increase does that necessarily mean this is a good thing? This is what Juliette and Joseph delve into throughout this episodes and the dangers that may be associated with simplify such complex things.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we discuss our experience with our placement as we see it come to end for Manny and Joseph going into the final stages of his placement too. The placement has taught us many things and has increased our competence in computer science whether it's coding or understanding the nuances within the industry. Working in the industry in the field of work you wish to work in provides you insight and the skillset which you may not be exposed to when you work in other part-time roles, this is something Joseph goes into detail and explains what he has learnt along the way. Manny and Joseph also talk about the pros and cons of other options which may be available to you, sponsored degrees, why you may not want to do a placement and much more.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we have a special guest and a good friend of the show Renata Lee. Renata is an individual who is always on the go and is someone who does so many things some of which include studying for uni, being an intern at a firm and having her own company. She has mastered how to be able to manage her life and enjoy what she does. Although, how did all of this come to be? That's what Manny and Joseph really go in-depth and ask Renata about. Knowing her more informally we do also ask some more personal questions about her childhood and the impacts of people in her life. Renata is someone who has lived a life that has contributed to who she is today and we hope you can do what she has done and continues to do by taking on the challenges head-on and look to others to be able to help you along the way.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we discuss discipline and how we have our own challenges with respect to discipline. Chocolate is something Joseph and Manny really struggle with and we all have our own vices, what ways have you been able to overcome the obstacles? Do you go cold turkey like Manny or is it more of a slowly takeaway chocolate by reducing the frequency of the chocolate you eat each week. Manny and Joseph also go into detail about what discipline means and how others can make an impact on our levels of discipline. It's not easy being able to continue to do things all by yourself, people play an important role in our lives. Lastly, we mention how parenting styles have changed and how the ideas/behaviours an authoritative parent would be like currently in comparison to what it once was.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we look back and assess how the project was over the course of a year. Was it a success? What would we do differently? What would we change? All the questions we'd ask ourselves if we were going to restart the project and go at it again from scratch. We know that starting your own thing can present a lot of obstacles at the start but we wanted to commit to something for one year to be able to look retrospectively at our body of work as a sign of motivation to not only ourselves but to those who stuck by up and until to this point. We want to be a reminder to you all, you can go after it, time and effort will be required although if you commit to it, opportunities and things will arise from it and those moments will be so satisfying.
Will the show go on...?

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we have a special guest Serena Dodd. Serena is a life coach, podcaster and business coach. Having such a decorative background working with very high profile individuals, Serena shares her experiences from her previous roles and the impact of the skills she learnt from those experiences and how they played an impact on the business she runs today. Serena address and busts some myths associated with the life coaching industry and how she actually had these preconceived notions. Furthermore, we discuss how we should establish a healthy balance in our lives and why we should push out our boundaries as we look to shift the paradigm in thinking from being past focused to future-focused. As younger individuals we carry ourselves accounting for where we want to be but as life goes on we may tend to look back and think about correcting what once was rather than grab the opportunities which are presented to ourselves in our to reshape our future and reality.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we have a special guest and friend of the show Ruben Gohir. Ruben is on the path of becoming a PowerBuilder having started his journey with the intention to lose weight once he arrived back in the UK from the US, he wanted to reduce the body fat he had gained. This pursuit and idea then changed from just losing weight to creating a body in which he felt comfortable and had a dream to build muscle similar to the role models he had seen along the way. His enjoyment of the craft resulted in him qualifying and becoming a personal trainer to help those who wish to change themselves and work towards the body they want to have. Ruben also talks about how his mental state had evolved over this time period and how the people along the way contributed to the goals he hopes to achieve, one of which includes building his own gym and the way he wants to make a start is by having his own clothing line Overtime Labs.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode we discuss Authenticity, authenticity is a tricky one to navigate there isn't a strict guide on it and everyone is different. Being authentic is all about acting in alignment with what you truly believe in rather than displaying a certain side in order to appease other people, needless to say, the prerequisite is that you require you know what your true self really is. This is something we explore and how authenticity can vary based on context as we've constantly being influenced by things around us in life. Furthermore, we discuss whether there is ever a time for you to be inauthentic and what the drawbacks are associated with that.
Do you feel there are times to be inauthentic? Let us know!

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. Handling one's emotions is not something we learn although it is essential in our lives to be able to handle how we express and react to things. The things we react to are what we give our power to, being able to maintain a stoic mentality will most definitely help in many scenarios especially in more professional environments. Nevertheless, we must all learn how to controllably release our emotions this is what Manny and Joseph discuss and where they may previously have made their mistakes with respect to how they dealt with their emotions in the past.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we discuss how to start caring less. Caring less about what people say is a skill that requires a lot of practice and for some, it is easier than others however it is something we all experience. We hear something about us or we do something and people relay their judgments to us or perhaps internally you have preconceived ideas about what those would say, which heavily impacts what you initially set out to do. Fortunately, for the audience, we have two people on other sides of the spectrum so we have a wide perspective on the topic as well as some challenges to the ideas we both had to one another giving you all a deeper insight as to someone who cares more about what others may think in comparison to someone who cares less so. As a result, we were about to come up with the pros and cons of being on both sides and what the optimal level may be for you. Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we discuss Criticism. Criticism can be used as a tool to recognise the faults in not only others but also yourself. There will be times where you will be critical for either the actions or behaviour you do however this may be the start of being able to overcome some of your shortcomings and look to use that criticism to better yourself. Manny and Joseph describe their ideas around criticism and how one should be able to deal with criticism. Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we discuss Forgiveness and Letting Go, yes we wouldn't be able to talk about this topic without mentioning Frozen. Forgiving and Letting go seems like it is something we must do as individuals for other people in order to continue with the relationships we hold however, it can sometimes go under the radar that we must forgive ourselves and let things go so we feel at ease and can move forward. Manny and Joseph talk about the notion of forgiving and forgetting and their beliefs on that, whether it's always necessary to forgive and forget? Furthermore, they talk about the correlation between forgiveness and the depth of a friendship/relationship which isn't as clear-cut as it may seem. Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we delve into Creativity. Creativity and thinking outside of the box are necessary to help us discover new ideas and solutions. Being able to implement creativity into your life doesn't mean you pull up a plain A4 paper and start drawing, it might be finding new ways to solve the maths problem you encountered at school, it's about being able to look at a problem and come up with a solution which doesn't align with traditional methodologies and principles. Needless to say, innovative solutions may be built upon fundamental common principles but by using them in a different context they may present themselves as a "creative solution". Manny and Joseph also discuss their struggles and hardships with creativity and challenge each other's ideas on what they believe creativity really is.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast. In today's episode, we discuss the myths around personal development. Nowadays, personal development has been discovered through the mainstream media from the book The Secret. Positive affirmations and thinking are one of many things ever-present in this space but it is perhaps one of the most dangerous things to come across as some people disregard the idea of going out and executing on plans and ideas and just hoping things will come if they just implement positive thinking. Positive thinking does play an active role but it is not the only piece of the complex puzzle when trying to reach your goals or better ones yourself. Manny and Joseph discuss the myths they have encountered when jumping into personal development and also what it is like to host a podcast that is associated with it. Welcome back to The DMC Podcast in today's episode is all about Purpose. Purpose, such a grand term in today's society. People always say I haven't found my purpose but what does that truly mean? There's so much to dissect with this topic and it can be very daunting. If we don't follow our purpose to we fail to live life to its fullest? Do you need a purpose? How can I find my purpose? All very valid questions and quite honestly as young individuals questions that occasionally cross our minds from time to time. Manny and Joseph define and outline their own beliefs about purpose and how ways they believe will help assist you during the journey of finding your purpose.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast, in today's episode we talk about Data Privacy and Governance. Do you know what happens to your data after you sign up to Google? Do you wonder what happens when you've searched for something? Why is it that every time you buy something from Amazon your Instagram magically has the advert for it? These are all good questions and during this episode, Manny and Joseph delve into these topics as well as talk about their own thoughts on what companies handle their data.
When we put things into perspective you begin to notice how much data these companies have on us as individuals and with that information we have an expectation for the companies to have a level of responsibility. Do you trust the companies with the data they have about you?

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast, in today's episode we talk to Muse Berhe about Activism, Mental Health and Education. Muse explains the importance of being an activist and the things he has learnt along the way as well as delving into the mental aspects of it. Sometimes things can be challenging and whilst campaigning for the things that he stands up for, Muse explained how his mental health was affected. Nevertheless, he overcame those hardships and continued to push the needle in the right direction addressing some of the failures he found when being taught about racism and discrimination in the classroom.
To find out more about Muse and the things he does here are some links he mentioned which would be useful for our listeners.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast, in today's episode we talk about Obligations. In life, we have obligations and things we must do, although we never question the things we must do for the people or strangers around us. What do we owe people? Respect? There are many intuitive answers but this is something we delve into during the episode with real-world examples. Does your relationship or closeness with people dictate the number of things you owe to those people or does that not matter? Also, Joseph gives us an insight into the "shopping cart theory" and what it implies. Thank for the suggestion for this episode, hope you guys enjoy the podcasts :) DMC Links https://open.spotify.com/show/5lS5DvT73hfAvxMPVfM91b?si=R_AcPTTKR7W6D7E4RMQJew Do you want us to discuss something or have a guest on the podcast? Welcome back to The DMC Podcast, in today's episode we talk about burnout. We all can suffer from burn out when we try to do so much or we overexert ourselves. Joseph gives us an inside scoop as to why he feels burnout and Manny shares his ideas of what he does to combat it and how focusing on one thing is the best thing to do to combat burn out. They also discuss being intentional when doing "nothing", how to use a day in the week to recharge the batteries when necessary and whether healthy competition and accountability can be a driving force to prevent the burnout.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast, in today's episode we talk about Toxic Norms. Toxic norms are societal norms which may or may not have survived the tests of times which have negative effects on society in general. An example of a toxic norm is toxic masculinity, a set of attitudes and ways of behaving stereotypically associated with or expected of men, regarded as having a negative impact on men and on society as a whole. Manny and Joseph attempt to dissect norms which they have experienced or have witnessed, why they believe these norms still stand today and how they would go about tackling and addressing them.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast, in today's episode we talk about Acceptance. Acceptance can be split into two categories, accepting of gifts and services and how we accept attributes or traits we hold or others may hold. We explore these ideas conceptually alongside with some scenarios whereby acceptance is more challenging and how to navigate them.
Acceptance is a challenge with so many different elements to it, where do we start? Do we start to accept ourselves first then reach out to the acceptance of others? Do we go about it in the opposite way - it's a constant struggle for many and it spurs on so many questions so we figured why not give it a try to dissect the meaning of Acceptance and provide our own interpretations and experiences of it.

Throughout life, we always go about our own business but along the way, we sometimes stumble across people or opportunities and we think do we deserve it? What really is deserving how is it measured, do people deserve more or less than you what is the metric? There are so many unknowns when it comes to this and we can sometimes overcomplicate things by initiating a value upon them and then deciding based on the value we give it whether we live up to it or aka deserve it. However, what if we were able to flip the script what if we tried to initiate whether something deserved us instead when was the last time you did that? In this episode, we talk about this in detail and talk about how to flip the script and what we truly mean by it.

Welcome back to The DMC Podcast, in today's episode we talk about boundaries. Boundaries are the concepts which are not as definitive as you may believe them to be in fact they are really malleable. Although, sometimes, we are afraid to turn back or alter our original ideas we set to an employer or people that we are close to as we believe that we lose credibility as individuals however Manny and Joseph address this during the podcast with a real-world example which they encountered. Manny also makes an interesting comparison between promises and boundaries and how they may seem more similar than they do on the surface.

Having an ability to look back and analyse on past events and things is something which we all have the capacity to do. As humans, we have such a blessing to be able to do this as we come to a close in 2020. We hope you can take some time out to be able to look back at this year and perhaps for some of you it may have been challenging, and a tough year although this may be an opportunity to extract the teachings which may have been hiding behind all those challenges which you have been able to traverse. Welcome back to the DMC podcast, in today's episode Manny and Joseph go into further detail about social media and how it can be used as a beacon for good whether it is to spread awareness or to participate in social activism especially during these unprecedented times. We are all a brand and during this digital age that brand is yourself, what you do on social media is seen as a representation/extension of you and who you are. So why not use the voice you have to spread awareness and positivity to those you follow you? Although social media can have its negative elements we all have the opportunity to extract the good and with that, we can spur on conversations or connect with the right people to have the necessary means to move the needle forward in our way.

Standing up for yourself is an art, there are times it is necessary in order to get the things you want. However, use this with caution because if overused, it can send off a message that you're not willing to compromise with others. On The DMC we talk about our own experiences and how we have been able to stand up for ourselves, we mention scenarios whereby it has been beneficial but also times it has not been so great either to give you all a taste of how double-edged this can be. To be able to go out and get the things we want, we need to build a backbone - that means you're willing to be outspoken and not let others treat you the way they wish to.

In today's episode, we host something a bit different, we do a roundtable talk with Luke burrows talking about how his journey first started off and how he was able to build the self-awareness and discipline to take on the path to reach his goals. Luke speaks about how he started off his businesses and ventures and what he learnt from these. He also talks about how he started on Youtube and swiftly then changed to hosting a podcast. We know sometimes people tend to hold onto things due to the sunk costs associated with it though it was interesting to hear why Luke decided to make a 180 and how it had enhanced his levels of self-awareness. Furthermore, he gets both Manny and Joseph in on the discussions allow them to also share what they understood and learnt along the way too.

Law of Attraction and Manifesting are concepts which can lead to a lot of scepticism and reasonable doubt, though we discuss ideas which are much more pragmatic yet still holding the integrity of those concepts. We give real-life examples of how the law of attraction and manifesting has played a role in the lives of those who are close to us and a special example whereby we ALL have experienced using the law of attraction and manifesting to bring something into your reality.

Parents can have a large influence as to how we are brought up which can span a plethora of areas in our life whether it's how you conduct yourself to what religion you follow. This was prevalent in Jagpreet's story as he describes how he was introduced to Sikhi and how he decided to be treasurer of the Sikh society at university. These roles within a society are no easy task and require strong leaders to be able to traverse the good times as well as the bad times which may have occurred throughout his tenure within the society as so we decided to discuss that as well as what he would have done differently when looking back on the whole experience.

Having faith in yourself is a skill that can be learned. If you're struggling with faith in yourself there are many ways to start to cultivate it though it will take its time, this is something we discuss within the podcast as well as how there are times you will be tested too. Furthermore, faith can be found outside of yourself, what does that mean? Well, that's something you're going to need to find out when you listen to the podcast! Manny also gets a little personal and sheds some insight on to how other peoples' beliefs and faith within you can lead to more pressurised situations as they may be a level of expectation being created because of this.

In life slowing down is often overlooked, we can get caught up in the going at 100 miles per hour to reach our goals. DISCLAIMER: Both Manraj and Joseph are not professionally trained or have any medical training in how to navigate addiction though we felt it was important to share how we would try and traverse it and help those around us.
Addiction is something which a lot of people deal with which can have a large number of negative impacts on peoples' lives, hence we believed we wanted to talk about it. Furthermore, we wanted to share our ideas on addiction and how it may be used for a source of positive use? Ideas like this on the surface aren't always as they seem and so Joseph and Manny decided to give it some more thought.
