Steve is the President of Martin-Till Industries. He has been involved in the design of row cleaners and closing wheels since he was in high school. His father was always looking at ways to improve planter performance in high moisture situations. It took unconventional thinking to solve a common problem the rest of the country would soon adopt. The original patent was issued in 1988 and in 1991 after working at a local John Deere dealership and on the farm stripping tobacco he had the opportunity to join the Martin-Till business with his dad. The first year they built 1000 rows and it took off from there. In 1996 they were issued the patent for a two-stage spike wheel in combination with a rubber wheel. Living in arguably the “Ground Zero of No-Till Farming”, Steve was also a part of the original Keeton seed firmer design. The Martin family being neighbors with Eugene Keeton allowed them to work together on different ideas and challenges together to change and shape farming world-wide.
It doesn't matter if you farm north or south of the Mason Dixon Line, they have you covered!!!! Both Ed & Heath have farmed, they are Precision Planting & 360 Yield Center dealers, among many others. Neither are strangers to precision agriculture or agriculture production practices. Ed grew up in northern Illinois just west of Chicago, near the Wisconsin border, where he still farms today. When not farming, Ed owns Kasper Ag Solution: a Beck's seed dealer, data management & other ag technology. Heath grew up in north central Ohio where worked on his family farm. As a result of opiate addiction and recovery, Heath moved to west Kentucky just north of the Tennessee border near the town of Murray where he spends his days at Integrity Ag Group. Both Ed and Heath are involved with Next Level Camps & Dowdy Crop Innovations and are very passionate about focusing on ROI, efficiency and thinking differently. Randy is a corn, soybean, wheat and peanut grower from Brooks County Georgia. His philosophy is to maximize yields by minimizing stress that plants experience throughout the growing season. Randy has a particular interest in maximizing corn and soybean yields He has been able to exceed 450 plus bushels per acre of corn on his farm numerous times through a systems approach to growing corn. In 2014, Randy set a new corn yield World Record and is the first grower ever to surpass 500 bushels per acre and additionally produced 100+ bushel beans in the same year. He recently achieved the World Record for soybeans with a 171 bushels per acre yield and had 2 2016 NCGA entries over 500 bushels in corn. In 2019, Randy broke his previous World Record for soybeans (171 bu/ac in 2016) with an outstanding 190.23 bushel per acre. Randy gives God all the glory for his success and wants other growers to understand his success is possible on their farms and he is passionate about sharing his practices with growers seeking to increase yields on their farms.
