Ken and I had a long talk last night and we've decided to leave BlogTalkRadio after five years on the air.

Our show WILL continue, it just won't be produced at BlogTalkRadio any longer.

We were already planning on taking a rare day off on Sunday February 2nd due to the Super Bowl. But then we realized that the annual payment for another year of BlogTalkRadio was coming due on February 8th.

After a lengthy discussion we decided that renewing our agreement with BlogTalkRadio didn't make financial sense.

The primary reason? Well, since only a very small number of listeners actually bother to listen to our show live and that literally 99% of our listeners listen to our show via podcast download.

Also, we now have far more listeners who listen to us at Red State Talk Radio, than who listen to our show at BlogTalkRadio.

Sooooo...Beginning February 8th, 2014 we will be producing our show independently on our own. Our podcast will still be available via iTunes, Stitcher, Tune-In, Podomatic and of course at Red State Talk Radio.

We believe that we'll be able to produce a better quality show, with much better audio quality than what we can at BlogTalkRadio.
