This Hypoglycemia and Alcoholism relationship MUST BE KNOWN. As it turns out, quitting alcohol is not quite enough to recover fully from addiction.
But don’t worry – it’s entirely within your power to feel incredible once you make a few changes to your diet and lifestyle. This episode can be a real lifesaver for people who have not yet read about the significant overlap between hypoglycemia and alcohol.
You may have heard about people who gave up only to mysteriously become dry drunks. They are irritable and generally not fun to be around. While this condition is often characterized as a spiritual defect, there is evidence that this “syndrome” is essentially undiagnosed (and uncorrected) hypoglycemia.
Always do more research (including side effects and contraindications), and then talk to your doctor before trying new supplements.

SO MANY PEOPLE need to know about "The Relationship Between Low GABA and Alcohol Addiction."
It’s a vicious relationship where each disorder can cause and affect the other.
For example, someone with a GABA bankruptcy in their brain might have intense cravings for red wine every evening after work and then become alcohol-addicted after a few months of habitual drinking…
… or someone with alcohol dependence develops a GABA bankruptcy from repeated consumption of alcohol (in contrast, their natural GABA levels were optimal before addiction).
After learning about this notorious accord between two devastating disorders and how to boost GABA naturally, you’ll be well on your way to restoring your mind/body health and elevating your GABA to optimal levels.

This episode of Elevation Recovery comes from a portion of a course and group coaching program called Make Alcohol Moot Again With Mindset Mastery.
Unresolved and unhealed trauma (childhood and adult) can make it harder to stop drinking alcohol or administering drugs. Childhood trauma changes the brain and nervous system in ways that make alcohol and other addictions potential subjective resources to regulate the nervous system (and this can lead to addiction). Healing from trauma can take a long time and many individuals haven't been able to recover when using the mind-only approaches or even mind/body approaches.
In these cases, trauma healing from a mind, brain, body, and spirit approach can often help.

This is a powerful meditation that helps to reprogram your subconscious mind and keep your brain's reticular activating system (RAS) focused on the goal of overcoming addiction. The RAS works like a heat-seeking missile. By keeping your RAS focused on the target of recovering from addiction, you'll have a much better chance of achieving your goal.
The best time to listen to this guided meditation for addiction recovery would be right after you wake up or just as you're going to sleep. Right after we wake and just before sleep, we pass through theta brain waves. Delta waves are the sleeping brain waves. As we wake we pass from delta to theta, alpha, then beta. When we go to bed it's the opposite. Theta waves are the subconscious reprogramming waves. Your analytical and judging mind is turned off in theta, allowing the messages in this meditation to sink deep into your subconscious without blocking them.
To get the best benefits from this meditation, you may like to listen once or twice per day during these times, although you can totally benefit from listening any time of day, as the guided meditation helps you to relax into theta waves using progressive muscle relaxation during the first few minutes. The Guided Meditation for Transcending Addiction is also more powerful when using earbuds or headphones. Noise-canceling headphones are typically best as they allow you to block out the rest of the sounds of life around you, making it easier for you to sink deep into theta waves while listening to the guided imagery, affirmations, and subconscious-software-program-hacking for overcoming addiction safely and powerfully.
Matt Finch shares research and personal testimony into the use of grounding (aka "earthing") for physical and mental health optimization.

About Rachael Shephard:
Rachael began her journey to sobriety in 2021 after many years of problem drinking, an impending divorce, and managing life as a newly single mother of two young boys. Instead of just figuring out why alcohol is bad, she wanted to know how to change her life for the better.
Thus, SoberMama was born, and she designed her very own Freedom Programme. Her passion in life is now to help other mothers give up alcohol. She says, "my life has transformed for the better and if I can do it, anyone can."
Matt Finch interviews Marc R, aka Suffer To Tougher on Youtube. They discuss Marc's story of drug addiction, overdoses, chasing the high, and how it progressed to needing the drug, not for the high, but to not feel sick. They also cover Marc's transformation and inspirational recovery story.

Because of this, Matt provides tips and strategies to delay gratification in order to have a healthier recovery and lifestyle in the long run.

With the pressure from advertisements, friends, and family, it can be difficult to not succumb to peer pressure. Matt Finch discusses how alcohol and drugs are used as resources for confidence, euphoria, and socialization. The alcohol and drug use can easily accelerate and can be abused quickly. When the consequences begin to heavily outweigh the benefits, the substances become exhausted resources.
Matt Finch discusses the concept of patient endurance and how to boost it for addiction recovery. Patient endurance is the act of enduring trying circumstances with an even temper. He describes how you can use it, foster it, cultivate it, nurture it, increase it, and create patient endurance into more than just a habit.

Matt Finch discusses the 5 different areas of mental ability that are "consistently compromised" by alcohol abuse.
