This week’s sermon is based off the Scripture texts of 1 Corinthians 8:1-13 and Matthew 15:10-20. I have inadvertently taught on the concept of the heart for three weeks now. 1 week was based off of listening to those whom we have disqualified in our hearts, another week was dealing with preaching to those whom we have disqualified, and this week’s passage is about the sin we hold in our hearts that defiles us. The truth of the matter though is that we also struggle in our hearts and minds to be the people we show ourselves to be. Let’s challenge ourselves to be the people God wants us to be in public and our private lives.

This week's sermon is based off the Scripture texts of: 1 Samuel 3:1-20 and John 1:43-51. It deals with listening to people whom we have disqualified, vilified, or ignore, for whatever reason. After all...maybe something good can come from Nazareth.
This weeks sermon is based on the texts of Isaiah 30:1-5, 9-13, 18-22 & Luke 10:25-37. Many people, including myself, looked on at the events of Capitol Hill this week in horror and frustration. As I sat there and watched I became disgusted at the use of Christian rhetoric and symbolism that was used to justify such actions. Not only is this a sermon a reaction to the events of that day but a call to be the people that God has called us to be.
This is a sermon based off of the lectionary texts, Jeremiah 31:7-14 and Ephesians 1:3-14. This sermon is about how believers become adopted Children of God through the Holy Spirit connecting us to Christ and his sacrifice.

Sometimes we justify the way that we treat people or the hate upon our hearts. Pharaoh did this too. Lets look at his actions and heart and see how we might fall into the same traps he did. It has been awhile since we have uploaded sermons. Covid-19 caused a bit of an issue for us. We hope to continue in one fashion or another for the future. Through our live sermons on Sunday or some other regular teaching on the week, should things get worse.
