He went on the study engineering at the University of Iowa, after he delivered a now-famous speech to the Iowa legislature about his experience with two mothers, he focused on writing his now best-selling book. Afterward started a camping "Scouts Across America," and received his master's in Public Affairs from Princeton University. He was elected to the Iowa State Senate in 2018 and is now the Democratic leader.
