Today’s episode is all about Transitioning in the Midst of COVID_19. I will walk you through the steps I have taken to transition to prepare my business to simply survive.
We are experiencing the worst global Pandemic in recent memory. Record job losses, struggling businesses and a volatile economy are of course cause for concern.
However, it is important to keep in mind that as the financial markets correct themselves, so must we. By we, I, am referring to entrepreneurs, professionals, and small business owners. We must put into place our own “circuit breakers” if you will, to pause, correct and/or redirect to regain solid footing, revenue, and market share.
So, this is your time to deploy the “circuit breaker” to pause and correct to ride out the economic downturn during the Pandemic. It is time to create your strategy to transition and Reset your course.
I believe that in challenging times we all instinctively desire to reset our courses professionally. I have done so several times – 9/11 and 2009, the great recession.
Each economic downturn or world event forced me to reset my career and business model to remain viable in an uncertain economy; but more important, to create a sustainable path. As frightening as this time is, you must prepare yourself to move forward. Be ready to start something new - launch or relaunch. Listen to learn steps you can take now to plan your transition.

In recent years LinkedIn has become the premier business tool for connecting with counterparts within our industries, searching for jobs and professional opportunities, staying engaged within our prospective groups, or just simply staying abreast of the latest developments. LinkedIn is literally an opportunistic global professional network. And that is a good thing.
But are you maximizing all that LinkedIn has to offer? Specifically, Groups, topical editorial from LinkedIn editors, webinars, courses, and workshops? LinkedIn is much more than a tool for job searches, but rather a treasure troth of information to help you achieve your professional goals. That is, what is required in terms of education, experience, and/or professional certification, in order to secure a professional opportunity within that industry.
