Hey, welcome to a cuppa with the coach. Our community focuses on health for life and we give that to you in the time it takes to make a cuppa and drink it. Grab your mug and get the kettle on.
How often do you invest in your own health ?
I don’t just mean in terms of money but how much time do you give yourself each day to move, to eat to sleep ?
Where do you list these priorities if they are down the bottom and off the page you might want to start reevaluating living for the weekend and start enjoying a little more of the 5 days prior.
Regular training has had a massively positive impact on females for decades now, although the misconception behind prenatal clients being unable to do is something I would like to encourage others to educate themselves a little more on too.
I myself have no experience of what it is like to carry a child nor go through the experience of bringing on into the world, but that being said I make it my mission to be able to meet each client at where they are at in their health and fitness journey and pregnancy should not stop that. Rather than be put off the idea of continuing to exercise let’s understand the why behind how it can benefit that individual.
The lovely Linzi from Livfit training academy joins me on this episode of a cuppa with the coach to discuss her own experience of her second pregnancy whilst continuing not only to work as a gym owner and coach but also continue to keep up her own training and the ups and downs she has come across during this pregnancy.
Ladies and gentlemen enjoy this epic episode of a cuppa with the coach.
How often do you make the plans to go all or nothing, you are all in or all out there’s no in-between ?
Does this approach get you to the goal you had set or does it knock you back at that first hurdle ?
Let’s change the way you approach your goals and how you see you health and well-being balance with a better more consistent and achievable way, little but often.
How do you set the tone of your day ?
Are you always chasing your tail or looking to make the most of every opportunity.
The first few actions you take from waking in the morning set the tone for the rest of your day, simple tasks like making your bed accumulate to a much bigger output but it’s how you prepare to get there that counts.
What happens if that tone changes to how do you react and how do you get it back.

This week is mental health week, our focus is on how we can make small changes to bring around a big impact especially in terms of your mental wellbeing.
Right now our emotional well-being is in state of disrepair and if we don’t take action to change that we face serious burnout and consequences of our own mental and physical heath.
As a big social media user and consumer my self I have had my fair shares of ups and down’s with the media world and some tips that are helping to improve that are right within this episode of a cuppa 2 go.
Enjoy
As much as Coach Lucy is the brand of this business it’s not the identity. I am a big believer in growth and development surrounded by others.
I started my business Coach Lucy because I was never too sure exactly what the intentions if my business was it was never just to be a fitness instructor or personal trainer. I wanted to add value to peoples lives through not just a 30-60min session I wanted to ensure that the the vales of this business could be something that others can ingrain in their every day lives too.
When you get a response from me, Coach Lucy it’s not and “I” but a “we” because this business was never built from me alone.
Sustainability VS Intensity
It’s about making changes that bring about results but not instantly. We live in a world now that we expect things to do done and handed over to us without any extra effort. On months 1-3 if the ground work to get you to a place of change, but if you decide on month 3 you can’t maintain this or continue and call it quiets you risk losing the the amazing progress and real change that was waiting for you in months 3-6 and this is where the results come from.
Instead you jump from a sustainable way of living your life to achieve the goals you have set to jump into a highly priced quick fix which never truly satisfies.
What path will you take ?
Just like all things our opinions of what we like and dislike change often as we grow and experience more in life. Our taste buds change and what we get joy from changes too.
For Lisa her experience of fitness has has a massive impact on her life not just as a female but as a mum, on this episode of a cuppa with the Coach we explore how Lisa’s views of fitness has changed drastically not just from covid but from her own experience one of them being working in one of the biggest diet businesses in the UK.
