Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full-time job as a Productivity Coach. As a busy mom of three and the founder of Chaos N' Cookies, keeping moms from crumbling is my main objective. After gaining 10+ years of experience as a Director of Marketing helping build multiple 6 & 7-figure businesses for other women, I've created the Chaos Control System to equip moms to overcome their own objections so they can live the life they want to live and start the business they have always wanted. The Family Playbook, or standard operating procedure, is the tool every mama needs to save time and stress-less when chaos ensues at home. For the new business owners, I also help simplify systems on social media and other platforms to automate processes to get their business up and running quickly and efficiently with how-to tutorials and hands-on coaching. I have helped hundreds of women to be more productive and self-sufficient in their homes and businesses allowing them to reclaim control of the chaos.

Donna pioneered the concept of LinkedIn profile optimization, realizing early on that the LinkedIn profile was so much more than just an online resume. The LinkedIn profile is a fantastic branding opportunity.

She spent the first 10 years of her career in sales, operations, and training. Donna joined LinkedIn’s social network in 2005, where she promptly copied and pasted her resume and wondered what all the fuss was about.

A job change in 2006 led her back to LinkedIn as Donna looked for tools to help her build a sales territory. It was during this time she had her LinkedIn epiphany and forged her LinkedIn 4 point methodology. By integrating LinkedIn into her sales process, she found tremendous success.

In 2009, she walked away from her successful sales career and founded Vision Board Media and LinkedIn-Makeover.com. Her mission: To help people realize their Internet identity and shape one that makes an impact and leads to opportunity.

As the foremost expert in LinkedIn profile optimization, she’s proven that a strong LinkedIn profile is the key to performing well on LinkedIn.

Since 2009, Donna and her team of over 40 writers have helped thousands of executives, entrepreneurs, sales stars, business leaders, and professionals from around the world create professionally branded LinkedIn profiles.

She is not just a business owner but also the author of the book “LinkedIn Profile Optimization For Dummies,” published by Wiley.

Donna is also an in-demand speaker throughout the US. She has been featured on Forbes, Business Insider, Time’s Money Section, Wall Street Journal’s Market Watch, LA Times, NBC, SiriusXM Radio’s The Focus Group, and many other news outlets.

Donna has presented keynotes and workshops for NBCUniversal, Columbia University, Wharton Business School, Intuit, Texas State Bar Association, GSK, and hundreds more.

That starts with her proven framework for growing an engaged Facebook group that makes you a 6-figure business owner. Michelle's no-nonsense, tough-love approach helps her clients get results fast. Do you ever go to bed feeling like a bad parent? I’ve been there.

Today we're talking all things parenting which means that I'm going to do a lot more listening than talking as I let our guest, Amy McCready, take the wheel.

We’re going to be talking about dealing with tantrums, teaching your kids to be independent, and most importantly, that there’s no such thing as a perfect parent.

Amy was a trainer and senior manager for Fortune 500 companies when she found herself in the throes of parenting toddlers – complete with all of the yelling and temper tantrums you can imagine – and she decided there MUST be a better way.

After years of researching Adlerian Psychology and Positive Discipline, Amy put the knowledge into practice with her own family. Astounded by the transformation she experienced with her two boys, Amy knew she had to share these methods with other parents, so she created the Positive Parenting Solutions Course.

Not only is Amy a trusted teacher by over 75,000 families worldwide, but she is a valued contributor on many media outlets. Amy is a regular parenting contributor on the Today Show, has authored two best-selling books, and she has written and appeared on a plethora of other media outlets.

If you want to feel empowered at the end of the day instead of feeling like you’re failing as a parent, this is the episode for you.

Cassandra is the owner of CJ Admin Solutions, LLC, a freelance at-home business she created after leaving her career of nearly two decades to spend more time with her growing family. What started as general VA services quickly up-leveled to business management services, but the most amazing and unexpected change was breaking through the crippling shyness that had kept her from advancing in her career as well as in growing her new business. Helping other women do the same became a passion and The Shy*Mama Project was born in 2021.

Cassandra is married to her 8th-grade love-at-first-sight, is a mom of two kiddos and two doggos, and is loving #lakelife in southern Missouri.

If you need some help coming out of your shell, Cassandra is your gal!

Have you ever felt like you don’t fit in with the stay-at-home mom crowd?

Today we are joined by an honorary free mama Laura Couvillon, and she gets you.

In this episode, she is sharing her journey from event planner to stay-at-home mom to running an online business. She’s also getting real and raw about not fitting in, mommy wine culture and embracing where you are at.

Laura describes herself as a professional mullet: business in the front, party in the back. She gets stuff done, and she loves to have FUN along the way!

She spent 11 years in the corporate world working her way up the ladder where she finally landed as a show director. She planned and managed conferences and trade shows with a team of 5 all over North America. Next came marriage and three kids in a baby carriage, so she ditched corporate for a more pick-my-kids-up-from-school type of career. Her background led to an amazing career as an Integrator. Through her work, she found a need and co-founded IntegrateUp with ToriAnn Perkey to help digital entrepreneurs hire their dream team.

Today, she is passionate about matching entrepreneurs and service providers to create successful teams that fuel small business growth!

If you are wondering how you can stand out and get hired, I know you will love this refreshing episode with Laura!

Are you trying to show up for your audience in all different places?

I’m here to give you permission to stop doing that.

In this episode, I am talking to you about why you need to stop doing what other people tell you to. This has shown up multiple times for me in my own business when I see someone else doing something.

I get shiny object syndrome! Have you ever been there? This can happen when you see someone doing something, and they either tell you that you need to do it or you think you need to because it’s new or different.

I’m going to share how I have found ways to stay focused on what I love when I feel like I’m being pulled in so many different directions.

If you’re tired of trying to do things that you don’t love, this episode is just what you need to hear.

Are you devoted to your business and to your goals?

Today I am talking about the idea of going all-in in your business and what that really looks like.

To me, this means making the things that I say that I value truly non-negotiable. At the end of the episode, I get into the definitions of words like “discipline” and “devoted” and what those mean in relation to this.

From discussing the importance of doing things that you say you’re going to do to making necessary sacrifices, this episode is short and sweet, but it’s a powerful one.

Wait… is it the end of 2020?!

This is the last episode of the year, and what a year it’s been. I know that a lot of us have been looking forward to the end of this year, but some of us have also experienced a lot of prosperity this year, and it can be really hard to reconcile those feelings.

Today I am unpacking my five biggest lessons learned in 2020. Because if we’re not learning, we’re not growing. And I think it’s really important to take a moment before we start making plans and setting goals for 2021, to look back and reflect on what went well and what didn’t go well in the last year.

Tune in to celebrate the end of the year and take a look at the things we’ve learned.

Today's episode of Free Mama Radio was previously recorded during the Diversity in Business panel at Free Mama Live. It was too good to keep private, so we're sharing it here today!

Of course, diversity goes well beyond business, but to keep it in alignment with our responsibility as business owners, mothers, and humans, we knew that this was a conversation that needed to be included in our community.

I sat down with two professionally trained inclusion and diversity experts, and you're going to hear all about their background and how they got into this line of work, as well as some really hard and uncomfortable but oh so important questions and topics.

Charmin Rickards is a retired Lieutenant Commander who served over 22 years in the United States Navy. Before she retired, she served as Deputy Diversity Officer, which launched her career in diversity and inclusion. Today she works in affirmative employment program management for the federal government.

LaDonna Sanders Redmond is a food justice activist. She started working in the world of food justice because her son developed food allergies at a very early age. She helps build fair food systems and food access for communities.

Are you always looking to the future and planning for the next big thing? Are you making time in your life to sit still and just be present?

At the beginning of the pandemic I felt called to reevaluate things in my life. I looked at my schedule, my business, and my relationships.

There was this sudden stillness thrust upon us when people stopped leaving their houses, and suddenly we weren't so caught up in the day-to-day routines and schedules.

And I realized that before the pandemic, that maybe I hadn't been creating enough space to just be.

On today’s show we are covering why it’s valuable for us to be still from time to time, and how we can use this stillness to be more present in our business and with our families.

This is a message that I have felt called to share with you, so I hope you take a few minutes to tune in! I would love to hear from you so be sure to reach out to me @laurengoldenfreemama on IG!

Have you ever been to a live event? If you just answered no, I am going to rock your world.

In this episode of Free Mama Radio, I'm going to tell you the three reasons why I absolutely MUST attend events in order to grow my business.

As a little background for you, my very first side hustle as an adult was as an event planner. So evidently, I’ve always loved events. I know it’s kind of a crazy time for events right now, and although there a lot of things I miss about in-person events, online events are really fantastic too. In some ways, even better!

In today’s episode we cover the three reasons that I try to make sure I’m attending an event every single quarter.

If you are someone who's been feeling deflated, alone, or just so tired of working IN your business instead of ON your business, I want to invite you to join us at Free Mama Live! Today we're learning from the original Boss Mom herself, Dana Malstaff. She’s sharing with us her filter on how she makes decisions and the same technique she teaches to all of her coaching students. Plus, you are going to hear me give Dana my very own secret confession.

Dana Malstaff is the CEO and Founder of Boss Mom. Dana believes that we need to show our children that doing what we love can be financially viable-- and you know I love this too!

Are you ready to dive in at the deep end and start swimming like a pro?

Don’t worry; I don’t mean literally. In this episode, I’m sharing why I think swimming is the perfect analogy for freelancing.

The question that I get asked the most is “how do I get started?”. . . Do you want to know the honest answer? You just have to go for it! No matter how long you spend walking around the pool (setting up your business), you will not be a swimmer (freelancer) until you jump on in! It requires action. So today, we’re going to tackle how you can overcome that hurdle and become a freelancer. Not just someone who talks about being one.

If you’re someone who’s scared to dip their toes in the pool, this one’s for you.

Today we are chatting about 3 things you must quit to succeed in business and life. I am a total quitter myself. If something isn’t serving me, I know I must quit it if I want to achieve my goals.

Did you know that when you focus on the RIGHT things, you don’t have to do as much? Sounds amazing, right?! As women, many of us are moms, wives, daughters, and friends. And let’s not forget about all of the other roles we play- teachers, cooks, chauffeurs, referees, and piano practice supervisors just to name a few! Many of us take on things that really don’t HAVE to be done. Quit doing that mama!

In Today’s Episode We Discuss:

  • Quitting things that aren’t serving you
  • Why we fill our time doing things that make us feel productive
  • Showing up as the best version of yourself
  • Comparing yourself to others and why you need to quit
  • The importance of eliminating distractions
  • Figuring out the goals and vision for your business
  • Reframing comparisons into something inspirational
  • Why you need to stop looking for the “easy” way to success
  • Managing your expectations about what it takes to be successful

Do you have a desire to make money from home? Years ago, my life consisted of constant exhaustion from work, toxic people, and long commutes. I was also taking care of my kids and the house and my husband was never home. I desperately wanted something different so I sat down one day and Googled "how to make money from home".

Yes, I admit, that was me. I was desperate. And that one search led me from one disappointment to another - until I found what worked for me. The thing that allowed me to be the Free Mama I am today.

In this episode, I will reveal why so many "make money from home" opportunities fail us. I know they do, because I have tried them all. I will also talk about what I discovered that allowed me to quit my job and replace my income in less than a year, working half the hours. And I am lucky enough today to have successfully taught thousands of other moms to do the same.

If you're into making money, while being an awesome mom, this is one episode you won’t want to miss!

Finally! I have been looking forward to this day for SO long! I have been thinking about doing a podcast since I launched the Free Mama Movement in 2017. If you know anything about me, you know that I am quite the prioritizer and love to achieve goals…. But, they need to be at the right time. And that time wasn’t right until now!

Like many things in life, things don’t always go as planned. I thought this launch would go differently than it has. Clearly, I didnt expect to be quarantined inside my house with 3 kids and a husband while trying to record these episodes for you. In life and in business, there are times when you have to get creative and that’s exactly what I had to do.

I am so excited for this podcast to be out in the world because everything about the Free Mama Radio mission comes back to my mission behind the Free Mama Movement. I know I was placed here so I could share the message that no mother should have to choose between family and financial stability.

I grew up with an amazing stay-at-home mom, so I thought that's what motherhood should look like. Then, I discovered that I love helping people and challenging myself. Plus, we needed the income.

Does picking one mean you fail at the other? Does pursuing financial stability mean you are putting your family second? Can’t I just have it all!?

In this episode of Free Mama Radio, I will talk about what I think being a good mom looks like and how you can be a good mom, while bringing home an income for your family if that’s what you feel called to do. I'm glad I'm no longer torn between choosing one for the other. I created a business I love, on my terms, and so can you.
