Everybody has access to God through Jesus. No one is beyond reach. We need to break down the walls and barriers and tell all the nations!
"Look at Jesus' very first miracle, which takes place at a wedding...If you look in Revelation, Jesus' ministry comes full circle because it also ends at a wedding - your wedding, where you and God are together!"
"When Jesus assembled his personal dream team, why would He choose the disciples He chose out of all the options in the world that He could pick from? What kind of people would you pick?"

What is your true identity? When you accept Christ as Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit dwells within you, your identity is in Christ. You are adopted into God's family. During life's struggles and trials, don't forget this foundational truth. Remember who you are!
Does Jesus really understand what you're going through? Can he relate? We have a God who understands what it is to be human. He understands our struggles.

God has plans for you. We just need to be willing to step up and follow Him. He also has a nickname for you. Gideon's was Mighty Warrior. What's yours?
This begins a new 3-week series on the "mighty warrior" of Gideon in the Old Testament.
Remember the promise of Ephesians 3:20-21, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in (RISING) church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."
God chose to make our problems his problems. He chose to step into our mess, our filth so that He could provide a way out, a new hope, a new chance at life. A new beginning. That's the beauty of Christmas.
The God of the universe is not distant or unsympathetic. He knows and empathizes because of Jesus coming down into our mess and living among us.
The Magi traveled from afar to worship the new King. Senior Pastor Aaron Young gives us more background to the story we've heard many times before.

Don't make the mistake of trying to delete God from your story at any time during the year. Instead, allow Him to place you in His story.

What is your life anchored to? Are you anchored into something solid or something that will give way? There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God loves us in the condition we are in right now. But he loves us too much to leave us there. He has plans for us that are bigger and better than we could ever imagine. Let him begin to transform you from the inside out.
Don't obey the law to earn your way to heaven but obey it out of a response to God's love for you. He doesn't owe us anything, yet gives us everything.

Romans 1:17 says, "For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: 'The righteous will live by faith.'” What does it mean to live by faith? Senior Pastor Aaron Young digs deep in part one of a series on the book of Romans.
God wants us to go from knowing about Him to experiencing Him. But how do we experience Him? Chuck Scott challenges all of us to get in the game.

Senior Pastor Aaron Young called on the RISING Church community of faith to get "unstuck" and commit to spiritual growth. We need each other if we are going to make it in our walks with God. We need to invest in one another and we need our roots to intertwine with others' roots so that we can stand firm.
Pastor Aaron Young challenges all of us to be a "great cloud of witnesses" for the next generation, for each other, and for those outside of the church.
"Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good." -- 1 Corinthians 12:7
Pray today that each of us would play the part that God has for us at RISING Church. Pray that we would be faithful with the gifts, talents, abilities, passions that he has given us. Pray that we would not bury those abilities. Pray that we would fan into flame what God has uniquely designed each of us with and use it for his glory!
Modeling the first Christian Church described in the Book of Acts, Pastor Aaron Young challenges us to be "joined together constantly in prayer" for the next 21 days. "Pray for God's power (dynamos), God's presence, God's spirit to fall upon us."
