For the first time in three weeks all the boys are back on deck to discuss: - the first England v South Africa one day match; - a preview of the New Zealand team for the Champions Trophy (and a brief mention of their awkward loss to Bangladesh); - a preview of India for the Champions Trophy; - and to finish - the boys have all been hard at work during the week, running through the stat books, perusing the old VHS tapes, studying the Wisden Almanack back catalogue, to each come up with their own "dream", all time, one day international cricket team. Who will make each team? Tendulkar or Lara, Warne or Murali, Waqar or Hadlee... but Trott? Surely not...

This week the BIG IPL Preview show on the Sticky Wicket Cricket Podcast!
Admittedly - none of the team have ever followed the IPL before. But as they say, better late than never, and this year all four at the Sticky Wicket Cricket team will be following the goings along closely throughout the tournament.
To assist the steep learning curve of the lights and the action of the IPL we've picked two (2) teams each from the eight (8) team in the competition. We will be following our chosen teams closely throughout the tournament and bringing you their news each week.
Teams and selection are as follows: - Joe has run with Joe Butler's Mumbai Indians along with the Chris Woakes Kolkata Knight Riders - Ed has chosen the favourites for the tournament with Virat Kohli's Royal Challenges Bangalore and Sam Billings' Delhi Daredevils - Cheese has naturally fallen for Brendan McCullum's Gujarat Lions and the Big Show's Kings XI Punjab; and - Marty has had no option but to settle for the Aussie Captain/Vice-Captain combo with Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Rising Pune Supergiant (not to be confused with last years Rising Pune Supergiants!)
