On July 14th, 2022, my Mom would have been 60 years old. While it was a sad day remembering her and the type of 60th celebration we would have had, it was also a day of gratitude and happiness. My mom might not be physically here, but even from heaven, she's teaching me things every day; especially why it's important to focus on my health & well-being. We all get 'caught up in the grind,' as we all say, but if you don't take the time to stop hustling & focus on your well-being, you're not going to get the success you want.

I focus 80% energy on myself and 20% on everything else (friends, family, business, etc.) I challenge you to do the same! I hope you enjoy this episode & don't forget to leave a rating, so I can understand how to grow this podcast better.

Starting a business is no small feat. It takes a lot of time, energy, and dedication to get a business off the ground. And, as any entrepreneur will tell you, it's not always easy. There will be late nights, early mornings, and missed weekends. You'll have to sacrifice your social life and learn to live on very little sleep. But, if you're passionate about your business, it can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. Of course, starting a business can also put a strain on your personal relationships. If you're not careful, you can easily become consumed by your work and neglect your partner or spouse. That's why it's important to communicate with your loved ones and set aside time for them. By making an effort to nurture your personal relationships, you can ensure that your business doesn't come at the expense of your love life.

Pursuing Your Business Goals Isn't Easy - Here's My Advice

If you're a female entrepreneur, I'm sure you've faced your fair share of challenges.

But don't let that stop you from pursuing your dreams! Here's my top advice for fellow female entrepreneurs:

Believe in yourself. You are the boss babe, and you can do anything you set your mind to!
Stay focused and don't give up. Pursuing your business goals is not going to be easy, but it will be so worth it in the end.
Surround yourself with a strong support network. Whether it's your family, friends, or fellow business ladies, make sure you have people in your corner who believe in you and your business.
Be confident and never settle. You deserve the best, so don't settle for anything less.
Keep learning and growing. There is always room for improvement, so never stop learning and growing as an entrepreneur.

That's why personal branding is so important: because it's the foundation of all your marketing efforts. To build a strong personal brand, you need to start with the basics: who are you, what do you do, and what are your values?

Once you have a clear understanding of these things, you can start to craft your personal brand identity. This includes things like your logo, tagline, website, and social media presence.

It's also important to show gratitude for what we do have and to keep pushing forward. Remembering these things will help us to get through tough times and come out stronger on the other side. So next time you're feeling down, remember that you are doing enough as a human and show some gratitude. You've got this!

One of the most important lessons I've learned is that happiness and health always come first. No matter how challenging life gets or how much work I have to do, my happiness and wellbeing are more important than anything else. This lesson has been especially important during the pandemic when it's been easy to get overwhelmed by all of the stress and negativity in the world. Taking time for myself – whether it's going for a walk, reading a book, or simply taking a few deep breaths – has been crucial for maintaining my mental health. And I know that if I'm happy and healthy, I'll be able to handle whatever life throws my way.

As a female entrepreneur, I often get asked how I balance it all. And the answer is simple: time over matter. Of course, there will always be tasks that need to be done to run a successful business or successful life. But it's important to prioritize the tasks that will move the needle forward, rather than those that simply consume time without adding value. It's also more important to spend your time on yourself versus others. This is how you achieve true time freedom. When you focus on working the right tasks, you can accomplish more in less time and ultimately have more free time to enjoy the things you love outside of work. So if you're feeling scattered and pulled in a million different directions, remember to focus on the tasks that will help you make progress and achieve your goals. As a female entrepreneur or business owner, it's important to set expectations for yourself and hold yourself accountable in the working world. Can your mindset control your reality? If you said yes, then it can create a 6-figure business for you. Listen, I didn't start with money in the bank and when my mindset was.... NOT GOOD I was checking my bank account every day because I didn't know if I could afford my mortgage. Have you ever considered yourself a leader? Essentially you are leading yourself and others every single day. Which is why it is important to be an AMAZING leader. Not just an OK leader, but an AMAZING LEADER!

I am talking about all areas in life; be a good leader for your children, your spouse, your parents, your siblings, your employees or peers, your pet, etc. I bet you never thought of it like that, but you lead someone or something every day. From the minute you wake up to the minute you fall asleep you are essentially leading. Have you been a good leader thus far?

Visualize those you look up to and their leadership style. Why do you aspire to be them so much? What leadership qualities do they have that you don't? Then, become that person. As we talked about in past episodes, be that person right now. Be the amazing leader you look up to.

Ah, the Law of Attraction. Honestly, if you don't believe in LOA and the power of manifestation, then you probably aren't living your best life. That's raw but honest. I went from not being a believer in the Universe, not caring about myself, my mentality, and just wanting to give up.... to understanding the power of positivity and how, if you (& only you) want it, the Universe will get it for you. But, it doesn't happen overnight. You have to trust in the Universe, and the Universe has to trust in you. Believe in yourself, surrender to your Universe, get back on that linear path of success, and watch your life manifest for the better. I hope you enjoy!

Meaning- if you want something, stop making excuses of not getting it! Excuses mean no action, and without action we have no purpose in life. We won't get the things we desire if we keep making excuses for ourselves.

I will admit, we live in a crazy, confusing, terrifying, uncertain time. However, don't let your fear stop you from achieving your goals or from creating a better life for yourself. Look at all those self-made millionaire or billionaires. Did they let fear stop them? No! They took their fear & built their empire from it.

During this pandemic, go take any fear you have & build your freaking empire! If you let your fear take over, if you succumb to it, then you won't achieve anything and you'll only get worse. If you take your fear, learn where it's coming from, accept it, & move on... you'll be one step closer to finding success. You'll be one step closer to creating income you didn't have. You'll be one step closer to building your empire.

So go take your fear & build your empire...right after you listen to this episode.
