The Friends of the Show Podcast strives to be a fun way for John's many, faraway friends to keep in touch and have fun conversations. We talk a lot of sports, of course, but it isn't really a sports show. What we lack in audience and revenue, we more than make up for in sound quality.
The Friends of the Show Podcast was born on February 16, 2012 as a successor to the many other places where the Friends of the Show have displayed their collective comedic genius. It's the Mousebed without the bitterness. It's Wikipedia2 without the impending lawsuit. It's the Eye of the Storm without the strip club commercials (for now).
At long last, podcasting legends Dylan Vazzano and Nick Johnson return to the podcast to discuss another memorable summer on Cape Cod. You get a full update of their amazing conversational lingo, and also Nick's insight's on the wonderful world of Tinder. This one's not to miss.
This is very, very late because I actually ended up meeting Bobby V in real life, and releasing this podcast when I taped it could have had real life consequences. Details on a future show, of course!
At long last, long lost friends of the show Josh Grimmer and Aurora Nibley make their inaugural appearance on the podcast. They're married, and they're roughly half the reason this podcast exists in the first place. They talk a lot of inside podcasting baseball, leading up to yet another hard sell to get John to move to their fair Los Angeles.
Unearthed from three weeks in mothballs, John finally gets around to posting a podcast from late September in the immediate aftermath of the Bryan Geiler Bachelor Experience.
Bryan's now married, and the Red Sox are now in the World Series. Aside from those two minor details, it still works.
John and Bryan Geiler get back together to finish what they'd started in Part I last week.

On the second anniversary of the final episode of The Eye of the Storm, former host John and frequent co-host Bryan Geiler sit down for an overdue retrospective on the unforgettable year. They laugh, they cry, they play recordings from the final episode.
While friends of the show Dusty Cabral and Will Bussiere didn't sit down for the podcast taping, you will hear their voices come from the 2011 Wayback Machine.
John gets together with Cape League characters and Civil War buffs Darin Weeks and Charles Condro. It gets downright nerdy for the first 45 or so minutes, then Darin steps aside and the normal foolishness begins with Charles. We cover the summer that was on Cape Cod. Great Civil War chatter...if you're into that sort of thing.
