He is risen! Reflect on the mission of King Jesus and the power that raised Him from the dead!

This week is part 6 of our series on prayer. We are discussing prayer as worship and the idea of balancing Spirit and truth.
What voices are we allowing to weigh in and make up the rules that overshadow God's good plan for our flourishing and His glory?
Today we embark on our new series that shares from scripture some specific ways that we, the the body of Christ, are to shine His light in dark places by reflecting his character, and following His example and teachings.
Today, we explore some of Paul's letters and see the church as a way of life in order to set up a new message series. "Going forward, we are going to topically be addressing how the church ought to be living in this messed-up world, in some really practical ways."
"I am writing these things to you now, even though I hope to be with you soon, so that if I am delayed, you will know how people must conduct themselves in the household of God. This is the church of the living God, which is the pillar and foundation of the truth." 1 Tim 3:14-15 NLT
This week we will be talking about the Throne Room as a Prayer Room, the individuals who are there and their role.

This week we are taking you through the door with John into the Throne Room of God as it is seen in Revelation chapter 4. You might not believe what you are about to see.
Today's message explores Philippians 3:2-17. In our pursuit of Jesus, are we staying on course, or falling in to ditches?
"I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. 13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it,[d] but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." Philippians 3:12-14 NLT
The last in our series, Portrait of a Servant, we look at these two examples of faithful, selfless service for the sake of Christ.

It's been a couple weeks, but we are back! This week we are coming again to the throne and discussing some of Paul's experience and perspective.

In the portrait of Saul, later called Paul, we see a life changed by grace from an enemy of God to an example and chosen messenger.

We see in Acts 8 that Philip was not deterred by the death of Stephen, but emboldened to share the gospel wherever he went. This earned him a special nickname... "But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went. Philip, for example, went to the city of Samaria and told the people there about the Messiah."Acts 8:4-5 NLT
This week we are beginning a journey into the Throne Room of God! Join us as we discuss, among other things, what it means to come boldly before our Heavenly King and Father.
The work that God can do through suffering is seen in this week's portrait of Stephen.
"But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you."2 Timothy 4:5 NLT
In the weeks to come, our series in the book of Acts will examine more closely the examples of some extremely impactful servants. Our first "portrait" in the series is Barnabus, who uses his Spirit-empowered gifts to come alongside many other servants and bring out the best in them.
"When he arrived and saw this evidence of God’s blessing, he was filled with joy, and he encouraged the believers to stay true to the Lord. Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and strong in faith. And many people were brought to the Lord." Acts 11:23-24 NLT

We find in Acts 4 a model of prioritizing prayer, and a prayer that shakes things up.
"After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness" Acts 4:31 NLT

This week, as we dig into the emphasized words of our prayer for pastors, we uncover a substantial amount of what the Spirit can do for us that we cannot do for ourselves.
Today we examine questions and objections to the command to "Go".Matthew 28
16 Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him—but some of them doubted!
18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,[b] baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
This week in our study of prayer we have a model of how to pray for your pastor or other leadership. As we go through our prayer we are finding that pastors are quite complex based on what we need to be praying over them.
Our series has bridged from Luke to the book Acts. This week, we look at Acts 1:1, and the "cast" of the Kingdom story going forward.
