"Spinner" draws inspiration from the late 70s and early 80s cinematic music era. Featuring futuristic synth sounds, dark drones, and lush pads, this atmospheric track conjures images of iconic films like "A Clockwork Orange," "Blade Runner," and "Tron."
"Distant," offers a refreshing and uplifting departure from my previous darker work this year. Blending elements of both house and techno wrapped in lo-fi sound design, this track strikes a balance between club vibes and cinematic allure. “Retrograde” takes a nostalgic journey into the realm of deep, groovy house and techno. Inspired by the club-music of 2008-2012, it strikes a balance between the genres, focusing on vibe and simplicity. The track is build around a dynamic SH101 bass-line groove that continually changes.
“Murk” is an ambient composition inspired by a foggy night drive in the outskirts Denmark. Capturing the sensation of limited visibility and uncertainty, it evokes an eerie atmosphere while expressing faith in navigating the unknown ahead.
This is Levitate. The "B-Side" to my Respond single release.Respond is raw, uncompromising techno.Levitate contrasts that by being an ambient journey with a quite cinematic mood to it.
“Respond” is more raw, gritty and lo-fi than my previous “Signal” release. The tracks are meant to sound unpolished, upfront and uncompromising.I always try to blend oldschool analog vibes with todays production techniques. On this particular release I feel it’s very noticeable. The synths are drifting and the signal chain is noisy. As usual the productions have many textures and effects to discover once you listen closely to the tracks.
I felt like I needed to push my artistic boundaries further and reach for new sonic horizons. So I shut out the noise from around the world, found my own little universe and started writing music. Signal is one in many results from this experience. The release is quite atmospheric and all-though the tracks might sound minimal at first they do have great depth once you listen closely. Sound design has become an essential part of my productions so there is plenty to discover once you dive into the music on a good sound-system or headphones. The 2 tracks on “Signal” sounded like the right starting point for a series of singles coming this year leading up to an album. I can’t recall a time where I enjoyed making music more than I do right now.And this is just the beginning.

Sindsro (The Danish word for “Peace Of Mind”) is here to ease your mind with ambient, meditative, deep sleep soundscapes. This is the fourth release in many capturing the essence of events occurring in Scandinavian nature. Morgendug (Morning Dew) falls in the evening depending on the temperature of the air and the humidity. Water droplets are deposited when the air temperature is below the dew point. In the morning the dew is still present just before the sun rises and dries the ground. That moment when the sun rises and sun rays start hitting the Morgendug is a very calming experience. The music of Morgendug was written with that experience at hand.
Sindsro (The Danish word for “Peace Of Mind”) is here to ease your mind with ambient, meditative, deep sleep soundscapes. This is the third release in many capturing the essence of events occurring in Scandinavian nature. Støvregn is a very fine drizzle that consists of water droplets that are smaller than normal raindrops. Frozen drizzle occurs when sub-cooled raindrops land on a surface whose temperature is below freezing. These droplets freeze instantly on impact leading to the buildup of ice (sometimes called black ice) on the road surface. Watching Støvregn fall from the sky is a very soothing experience. The music of Støvregn was written with that experience at hand.
“Frakmend” is another timeless piece by _r00t_ Atmospheric dub techno based on granular experimentation. The sporadic delays and pitched layers create a hypnotic, almost mediative feel on top of the fast-paced beats.
After feeling the unknown by MESM nearing in the distance “Submerge” takes you on a journey into your own soul. Penetrating your skin, surpassing all the gloom and doom to find those shreds of hope left in your body. As the darkness is embraced rather than suppressed. What started as a sad insight ends as a healing experience. Getting rid of all the noise to focus on what matters the most to your body, mind, and soul.
“Impel” almost sounds like 2 tracks blend together. I experimented with granular synthesis which resulted in the disruptive middle piece of this track. I love surprise elements in music and feel I accomplished something that stands out with “Impel”. Some will love it, others might dislike it. Have a listen and find out how you feel about it.

This is the second release of many capturing the essence of events occurring in Scandinavian nature. Snefnug (snowflake) is a porous water crystal formed in the air. Snowflakes have a very large variation in shape and size which has led to the common expression that “no two snowflakes are alike”. Looking at all the variants falling from the sky to form a blanket on the ground is a very beautiful and peaceful experience. The music of Snefnug was written with that experience at hand.
MESM returns with a calm, peace-offering as the inflight continues with melancholic soundscapes. The atmospheres are still full of mystery but you hear serenity and hope in the distance. The soothing sequence makes you feel “Serene” and open to new worlds. A hope of a better future is printed into your mind as the experience disappears into the distance again leaving you safe and sound.
Classic fast-paced techno by _r00t_ (aka Noir) that takes you back to the early days of the Detroit scene. Although this tune is high-energy there is also something soothing and almost chilled underneath the relentless beats. It works both for the dance floors and for a hypnotic listening experience.

Havgus is a meteorological phenomenon that occurs when hot air with a relatively high moisture content moves over cold water. Then the lower air layers will cool and fog can form over the sea. This fog can spread over land by onshore winds. That kind of fog is also known as Havgus.
The music of Havgus was written with that experience at hand.

A cinematic inflight into the soundscapes of this new universe created for dark ambient, drone, and cinematic sound design. Melancholic atmospheres and subtle melodies of hope hypnotize the listener and give the first sign of something new happening. Something unfamiliar yet comforting is arriving. Bringing mystery, uncertainty, and hope all at once.
Spektral is one of the most straightforward techno tracks I have produced in the past 2 to 3 years. It’s designed to sound raw, in your face, and straight to the point. Under the hood, of course, a lot is going on like in almost all of my productions. All elements are highly modulated and ever-changing to give you that hypnotic movement to sink into. On this particular track, spectral resonators played a big part in the sound design. Everything is wrapped in 909 beats and arranged to suit the dance floors. Pneuma was born during the lockdown. The frustration, claustrophic state, uncertainty and feeling of being “alone together” came out through music. I allowed the music to take the first step and I took the next. It almost felt like the tracks were writing themselves and I was just there to record. But obviously it comes from a place inside my soul.
Pneuma 1 came to life first. Those broken beats flew right out of me and the dark atmosphere followed on top. On the journey Pneuma 2 and 3 started breathing as well and eventually I created and finished all three versions at the same time. These are some dark, aggressive pieces but if you listen carefully you hear hope and optimism between the beats.

Pneuma 1 came to life first. Those broken beats flew right out of me and the dark atmosphere followed on top. On the journey Pneuma 2 and 3 started breathing as well and eventually I created and finished all three versions at the same time. These are some dark, aggressive pieces but if you listen carefully you hear hope and optimism between the beats.
Pneuma was born during the lockdown. The frustration, claustrophic state, uncertainty and feeling of being “alone together” came out through music. I allowed the music to take the first step and I took the next. It almost felt like the tracks were writing themselves and I was just there to record. But obviously it comes from a place inside my soul.

It’s been a year since I released originals and since then I also gave my studio a big make-over. I have gone back to being more analog/hardware based in my production methods again and I guess in some ways you can hear that in this release. For “Damage Control” I chose 3 tracks I felt had different vibes to them.
Psychosis carries a familiar Noir Music sound with a very in your face beat and musical message. Damage Control is a more groovy track build around modular synths and a filthy bass that cuts through the soundscape. Autophagy is a fast-paced monster with percussive intensity and FM synthesis filtering in and out through the entire journey.
The tracks have ofcourse been roadtested and believe me even the smaller details changed a lot over time to fit my personal taste 100% After a long process I am finally happy with the tracks and ready to present “Damage Control”.

I am super proud to present the part 1 of "Noir Remixed" with fantastic remixes from some of my favorite producers. Johannes Heil, Cardao, Robert S (PT), Wisna, Electric Rescue and DSTRD. It’s been a while since we released a V/A on Noir Music and I only ever compile them whenever I feel I have 5-6 tracks that stand out.
Dark Stars Volume 4 has been 6 months in the making and yes..... I know I am picky with the music I sign. I hear that on an almost daily basis. But even though I could pick music from many different artists it still took me months of compiling, testing the music in clubs and at festivals and then putting together the tracks I felt stood out and complimented each other.
The great thing about V/A’s is that you get the chance to put together a release from artists with completely different sounds and ideas. Although the sound of Dark Stars Volume 4 is quite minimal sounding overall, it still reflects musicality and great in-depth productions by skillful and experienced artists. Another great thing about Volume 4 is that these are all artists who make their debut on Noir Music.
I truly love playing every single track from this release and I enjoy watching the crowds reactions around the globe. I feel no need to get deeper into detail about the specific tracks, as the music will speak for itself. - Noir

I have relaunched my label Klimaks Records to bring back Dub Techno and “real” Deep House to the Noir Music family. My entire dj career I have had a weakness for this sound and I have now dedicated my Klimaks Records label to this sound.
The first release comes courtesy of Berlin based Florian Kruse and Barcelona based Tesla Nix. They have given us this amazing relaunch release containing two amazing Deep House tunes build on classic chords, crisp production and spoken word with a message to keep you locked in.
On top of the two amazing originals we also got remixes from André Kronert and Skudge, 2 of my favourite Dub Techno producers out there. And they definitely do their thing making the tracks more club heavy and dubby. Remixes that put a smile on my face and makes me feel GREAT!

In the late 80s I started listening to UK radio stations when I was a little kid and I instantly fell in love with the acid sound and rave movement that was portrayed on those UK dance shows. When I got old enough to attend clubs and warehouse raves, to experience the movement first hand, it was a no- brainer for me that the music and the lifestyle was my call. Lately.... in my dj sets and when producing music... I have been time travelling back to those days. Back to how I remember the music I fell so deeply in love with and that is exactly what you hear on this “Done/Undone” release.
“Undone” is instrumental and has a more straight forward flow to it. It’s quite simple although the shifting groove patterns might surprise some. I was torn between two different acid patterns and decided to drop one of them as a surprise change. Playing the track in clubs I quickly learned that the change of dynamics had a great effect. This is my take on the sound I fell in love with years ago and obviously still love today. I hope you like what you hear. - NOIR

For the “Done” track I teamed up with Cari Golden to have a female spoken word and a great message to build the music around. I always prefer to do original vocal recordings rather than using samples. Cari understood 100% what I was after and I love the lyrics and execution by her. The spoken word is centered, very clear and deep to contrast the constantly building intensity of the acid patterns and thumping beats.

It is a pleasure to work with David Granha and to present his 2nd release on Noir Music. Not only is he a super talented producer but he is also open to taking his tracks a step further and in the process evolve as an artist and producer. I have been playing these 3 tracks a lot in my sets around the globe and almost each week discussed change of details with David. It makes me proud to have this “Savala” release on Noir Music cause you can hear from the title track “Savala” is an extension of his previous release on the label and with “Balea” and “Mortal Sins” he moves his sound-design to new ventures and a more minimal, raw approach to the final outcome. Exactly what I wanted from David. Exactly what I hoped for and well...... Even better. These 3 tracks just sounds amazing and they have been crafted perfectly step by step over a long period of time. A lot of passion, energy and love have been put into this release. On top of that the titles of the tracks also have sentimental value to David, so there is also a deeper meaning with this release. Give them a spin and experience how powerful these tunes are.

I am really proud to present this 3-tracker by Victor Ruiz on Noir Music. I think he is one of the best and most flawless techno producers right now and together we have carefully picked three tracks which perfectly showcases his production skills.
I often write how I’ve worked with the artists on my labels to make their tracks reach their best potential. With Victor I feel everything has been served to me on a silver platter as his productions are already perfectly crafted. Although Victor changed details right up until last minute, some of these tracks also dates back 2 years, so he has had plenty of time to make everything sit and sound right.
After a nine month break from releasing originals I feel truely honored that Victor has chosen Noir Music as the label for this venture. Both Victor and I feel these three tracks compliment each other and at the same time showcase his skills to make great, diverse music. Check the entire release. The music will speak for itself.

After Thomas Schumacher’s succesful “Natural Rhythm” trilogy on Noir Music, the Berlin-based producer now returns with a fresh new release for us. Thomas and I have been very much in sync with what music we like, play and get inspired by the past couple of years, so I was one big smile when I received these new bangers from Mr. Schumacher.
Continuing on from last years trilogy, in 2018 we embark on new adventures starting with this 90s rave inspired “Embody Paradox” release. Both tracks are geniusly crafted and a tribute to warehouse moments from the early 90s with a twist of Thomas’ skillful 2018 freshness.
"Embody” is built around a timeless 303 sequence wrapped in Thomas’ unique synths, soundscapes and relentless beats. On “Paradox” Thomas goes back to oldschool arpeggio influences, his signature string composition and thumping subs.

This is the debut release on Noir Music from Brazilian K.A.L.I.L. We have been working quite some time to perfect this first release from him on the label and give it the edge needed to stand out. After tons of road-testing and going back and forth with production ideas I am now happy to have 2 perfect tracks ready from K.A.L.I.L. that really showcase his super solid techno sound and production flair.
Involved (co-produced with Any Mello) is a quite simple trip with Any’s spoken word in center of industrial elements wobling it and out. This track works really well in the clubs because of its on point minimalism, the high intensity stacatto synths and the catchy vocal line from Any. It's not easy to do big tracks without big basslines - but that's what K.A.L.I.L. and Any Mello truely achieved with this one.
Revolved is a track I signed already last year and since then K.A.L.I.L. has been perfecting everything about the track from small details to bigger arrangement improvements. This track has that big bassline that sits right in your face. It also has the right build for those peaktime moments in the clubs. I have been playing “Revolved” a lot over the past months and people go crazy for those big bass drops.

Halfway through 2017 I decided to divide my labels into 2 independent and sound defined music platforms.
Noir Music has become the full-on techno label with a harder and more edgy sound. NM2 will be the label which explores the deeper and thinner lines between House, Techno and Leftfield.
I am really proud to present this first “DEFINED” series release with productions by former Noir Music artists Olivier Giacomotto, John Monkman, Kiko and Jos & Eli whom all now fits the NM2 imprint and have given me the perfect music to help define the sound of NM2 and the difference between the 2 labels.
It is super exciting to move NM2 into a new era of great releases and a more DEFINED sound.

Sometimes things get served on a silver-platter for you and all you have to do is lean back and enjoy the moment. David Granha sent me a bunch of new music and told me he had gone in a new direction that he felt might suit Noir Music perfectly. And boy was he right....... I chose 2 of his tracks to road-test and made him perfect the arrangements and elements until we both felt they had reached their full potential. This has resulted in a really special release and those always makes me super proud as an A&R and label-owner. The Gates can be best described as a big cinematic techno stomper and that huge break not only sounds so amazing on a big system but the reactions..... Wow! Goosebumps everytime. Resurrection hits the nail of the atmospheric techno with crisp punchy productions I love at the moment. Big pads with just enough edge underneath to give you the substance needed to keep it exciting for many plays/listens. This might be a new direction for David Granha but it sounds like he’s been producing techno all his life. A true testiment to his production skills. I can’t stop playing these tracks in my sets and hope you end up loving these bits too.

Release Info: SAMA got in touch with me because I was heavily supporting his track “Existence” from Kraftek in 2017. We met at ADE and since then we have stayed in touch and I have received tons of great music from him. After lots of back and forth and his enormous patience with my picky taste in music, we finally have his debut ready on Noir Music and I am truly proud of this 2-tracker.
Curiosity is the straight forward techno-belter with an infectious spoken vocal to compliment the builds and the mood of this awesome tune.
Indifference was the first track I signed and the pitchy bassline on this track not only convinced me but has the clubs going mental every time.
Even though SAMA is fairly new to the techno scene, his productions are spot on and sound like they were produced by someone with years of experience. I hope you love this 2-tracker as much as I do. - Noir

A blast from the past..... One of the most iconic tracks from the Noir Music back-catalogue makes a remixed revival. 3 impressive remixes to spice up your dj sets. Victor Ruiz makes Bipolar Star a fantastic big room techno stomper with his signature sound and just the right amount of melody from the original to make it recognizable. Re:Axis almost makes the track unrecognicable with a more minimal techno approach. Something I am sure will please the forefront of the underground techno scene. Animal Picnic & Aaryon almost pays tribute to the original with their very cool update keeping a lot of the original feel but cleverly tweaked the elements to sound super fresh again. I believe there’s a little something for everyone in this remix package which was the purpose behind doing it instead of a bunch of remixes sounding the same. I hope you like the new remixes and put “Bipolar Star” right back into rotation.
