Everyone has favorite people in their lives. But showing favoritism is not what God wants us to do. He wants us to live lives that reflect our faith in Christ. That is what we will be talking about today.
As we move through Deuteronomy we focus on having our whole lives as an act of worship to God. Then we explore curses and blessings based on our obedience to God.
Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and, slow to wrath. Be doers of the Word and not hearers only. So much good and practical teaching in this section of James 1. We continue to look at how we are to grow in our spiritual maturity and live out our faith in Christ.
Tonight as we continue to explore the entire Bible we are in Deuteronomy and talking about various laws that the Lord was giving to the nation of Israel. We focus on purity and marriage.

We are moving into the next stage of the book of Romans. Chapters 1-11 were all theology, and in chapters 12-16 Paul gives us the practical application of the Word. We are focusing on not conforming to the world but being transformed by the renewing of our minds.
As we move forward in Leviticus we spend time in this message on the laws concerning leprosy and God's arrangement for the miraculous. We also briefly discuss the laws of bodily discharges. We spend most of our time on Yom Kippur or The Day of Atonement.

In our message from Romans 10 we look at the complimentary side of God's sovereignty, which is the free will of human beings. We not only discuss these two things, but also how they work together, as well as how God is certainly smarter than us and that's ok for us to accept. As our journey through the Bible continues, we are looking at Moses intercession for the people of God as he seeks for God's presence to go with them as they move forward and into the promised land.
Romans 8 is such a rich place to be. Today we continue by looking at how the Spirit intercedes for us and how that intercession leads to all things working out for our good according to the will and purpose of God.
In our journey through Exodus we are continuing tonight with implements of the tabernacle, including how to make the incense and anointing oil, and God's call on the artisans who would do the work. We top it off in chapter 32 with the making of the golden calf as Israel sinned.
Our journey through the Bible is currently in Exodus and tonight we are looking at more pieces to the tabernacle and the priestly garments.
As we continue in the book of Romans we are looking today at our eager waiting for the return of Jesus- Maranatha-
