What is a reaction video? Should you make one?

A reaction video is when you record yourself reacting to another video on the web. You should comment on key moments and remember to stay genuine in your reactions.

So why should you create reaction videos?

When you react to a great or popular piece of media, you're able to create a community feel and allow your audience to align with you more.

You also get to have a great piece of content on your page, and as you continuously comment on it, you can generate more conversation and engagement.

Where can you do this?

You should create reaction videos on YouTube or Instagram, and you should react to a video that already has some sort of value. Be sure you check the policy on each platform to make sure you're staying in line.

Along with the delay announcement, Google said that some sites may need to address mobile-related image and video issues, such as:

  • Different image URLs for mobile versions of sites

  • Different video structured data between desktop and mobile versions

  • Video and image placement on mobile versions

It’s possible that Google may have warned you already via Search Console if your site is experiencing any of the issues mentioned above. Still, it’s a good idea to do your own due diligence.

SEO is important as a marketing channel. But what if it didn't exist? Or, what if you were forced to build your business without it?

In this video, John Lincoln discusses this and gives real-world examples of businesses that have thrived without SEO. There are so many ways to build a business online. In many cases, people do not realize all the new tools that are out there in the toolbox. Ignite Visibility offers clients a wide range of tools, in addition to search engine optimization.

SEO is still important and will continue to be. But think about it, you could build an entire business off of email list advertising, media buys, acquiring companies, paid media and so much more.

Listen to this podcast to learn about some of your options outside of SEO. We do recommend you keep SEO as part of your strategy, and a big part, but also think about diversification.

John Lincoln presents a 7-step formula based off of his book The Forecaster Method. https://ignitevisibility.com/the-forecaster-method/

► Step 1: Reverse engineer your competitors and perform a detailed competitor analysis. You need a good stack of tools to use to determine how much your competitors are spending online.

► Step 2: Create a list of best sources that you think will bring the highest return to your site. What are the most profitable advertising channels for your business?

► Step 3. Project a conversion rate. Determine the accumulated conversion rate based on your website's pages and bring that back to the source of traffic that you're driving traffic from.

► Step 4: Apply your budget and determine a cost per acquisition. How much does it cost you to gain a customer?

► Step 5: Run a test on each of your sources. Choose a number of sources and figure out what your cost per acquisition for each of those would look like.

► Step 6: Determine a conversion goal you'd like to hit per month. Keep in mind that you should never have more than 30% of your conversions coming from one source.

► Step 7: Create a forecast over a quarterly period how much your goals could change based on your business needs and seasonality.

For more help on how to successfully evaluate, forecast and scale your digital marketing check out the book The Forecaster Method https://ignitevisibility.com/the-forecaster-method/
