In this episode of the Seeing With Your Soul series, I dive into the wisdom of Gary Zukav and the powerful conversations he had with Oprah about the soul. Together, they helped shape the way so many of us understand our deeper purpose that the soul has a path, and when we follow it, life aligns in ways that feel both meaningful and guided.

But what happens when we derail? I share my own journey of stepping away from my soul’s path and how that choice led me into rough waters, challenges, and lessons I never expected. It wasn’t easy, but it showed me something essential: all paths will eventually lead you to where you’re meant to be. Some just carry more pain, detours, and wake-up calls than others.

This conversation is both personal and universal a reminder that even when you’ve lost your way, your soul is always calling you back home.

In this episode, you’ll hear:

  • Gary Zukav’s perspective on the soul and why his teachings with Oprah still matter today.
  • What it looks like to wander off your soul’s path and how to recognize when you have.
  • The consequences of misalignment and the lessons hidden in painful detours.
  • Why every choice, even the ones that feel wrong, ultimately leads to your growth.

If you’ve been questioning your path or feeling the weight of choices that didn’t go as planned, this episode will remind you that your soul never abandons you it’s patiently guiding you back to alignment.

Have you ever prayed, “God, just get me out of this” only to find yourself right back in the same cycle again? In this episode, Tisha Michelle shares a powerful perspective that shifts the way we pray, heal, and rebuild. Instead of asking to be rescued from the situation, what if the real transformation comes from asking God to remove the situation from within you; the patterns, the wounds, the cravings, the beliefs that keep pulling you back? We’ll talk about subconscious loops, nervous system patterns, and the deeper spiritual reset that begins when we stop asking for escape and start asking for release. This is where rebuilding, starting again, and true reinvention really begins.

Takeaway: Starting again doesn’t mean you failed; it means you’re choosing life with God’s help.

In this episode of Rebuilding Me: The Art of Starting Again, Tisha Michelle gets real about money: not just as paper or numbers in a bank account, but as energy, currency, and belief.

Tisha shares her personal money stories:

  • The “just enough” mindset picked up from my grandmother and mom.
  • The receiving wound I inherited from my dad’s words.
  • The scarcity pattern that made me spend money quickly because she didn’t trust more was coming.

We’ll also talk about:

  • Why there’s no real difference between $1 and $100 except the meaning we assign it.
  • How our subconscious creates a “capacity” for money and why we unconsciously sabotage ourselves when we go beyond it.
  • The mind-blowing story of how one coach raised his prices from $500 to $5,000 by simply adding a zero.

This episode is about rewriting your money story, alchemizing shame into wisdom, and opening yourself up to overflow.

Because you are not “just enough.” You are worthy of more than survival. You are worthy of abundance.

Have you ever caught yourself saying, “I wonder where life will take me?” or “I wonder who I’ll end up with?” It sounds innocent but it’s really a sign we’ve slipped into autopilot.

In this episode, Tisha breaks down what happens when we hand over the controls of our life to fear, expectations, or waiting for “the right time.” Using the metaphor of an Amtrak train and virtual reality goggles, she paints a vivid picture of how easy it is to forget we’re the ones steering and why that’s exactly why we end up feeling stuck, lost, or powerless.

You’ll hear:

  • The subtle ways we give up control of our lives without noticing
  • Why “autopilot” keeps us stuck in someone else’s game
  • How to remember you’re the main character, not the background actor
  • The beauty (and surprise) of the unknown when you start steering again
  • Practical steps to get back in the driver’s seat today

This isn’t about having the perfect map. It’s about picking up the controls again and declaring, “I’m back in the driver’s seat of my life.”

Your invitation: Stop waiting for permission. Decide where you want to go, take one aligned step, and watch how the path opens in front of you.

There’s a new trend sweeping TikTok called The Great Lock-In but it’s more than just a trend. It’s an opportunity to choose one area of your life and commit to it fully from September 1st through December 31st. That’s four months of focus, consistency, and intentional discipline more than enough time to build habits that actually stick.

In this episode, I dive into:

  • Why science says it takes about 66 days to form a habit and how to use that to your advantage
  • How to choose one area to lock in on when your whole life feels messy or overwhelming
  • The role of the subconscious mind and why vague goals don’t work (hint: it’s like giving your GPS no destination)
  • The power of identity language and how shifting from “I’m trying” to “I am” rewires your reality
  • Micro vs. macro lock-ins why both small daily actions and bigger long-term commitments matter
  • A short guided visualization to help you connect with the version of you who has already locked in and created change

Whether your focus is finances, health, career, or relationships this is your reminder that you don’t need to change everything at once. You just need to lock in on one thing and stay consistent. Four months from now, you’ll thank yourself for the decision you make today.

If you’re ready to create true change that lasts but know you need guidance, I’ve reopened my calendar for Intro to Breakthrough sessions. This is your chance to experience the power of hypnosis and subconscious reprogramming to clear old patterns and step into your next chapter with clarity and confidence. In this episode, Tisha Michelle takes you deeper into the hidden layers of identity by exploring how the subconscious mind shapes who you believe yourself to be. Building on a previous conversation(Ep178) about creating identity in the subconscious, she now connects the dots to your nervous system showing how the body and mind work together to reinforce old patterns or create new ones.

Have you ever found yourself asking God: “What exactly do you want me to do?”

I’ve been there; waiting for a clear answer, a step-by-step blueprint, a sign that points to one specific path. But what I’ve come to realize is that sometimes God isn’t pointing us to a single business, project, or idea. Instead, He’s pointing us to a principle.

In this episode of Rebuilding Me: The Art of Starting Again, Tisha Michelle shares a deeply personal reflection on what it means to rebuild with faith and intention. She talks about the framework that has been reshaping her own journey:

  • Build something that frees you not just financially, but emotionally and spiritually.
  • Build something that elevates others leaving people better than you found them.
  • Build something that funds your greater mission even if you can’t see all the details yet.

She also shares stories from her own path; moments of freedom that also came with hidden traps, stories of unexpected connections that led people to her work, and how one venture created the foundation for the next.

This isn’t just about business; it’s about life. Whether you’re starting again after loss, reinventing yourself, or simply trying to hear God more clearly, this episode will give you a new lens to see what you’re building and why.

Because rebuilding isn’t about waiting for a perfect blueprint it’s about building with principle, with faith, and with courage.

What you’ll hear in this episode:

  • Why waiting for a “perfect answer” can keep you stuck
  • How to know if what you’re building is freeing or trapping you
  • The power of creating something that elevates others
  • Why your current chapter may simply be funding your future mission
  • Personal stories from my journey of rebuilding with faith

Just like your Instagram feed shifts based on what you click on, your life shifts based on what you focus on.

In this episode, Tisha Michelle talks about how your subconscious acts like a search engine; constantly pulling in what you “feed” it. If you’ve been feeling stuck or attracting the same patterns, it may be time to retrain your algorithm.

You’ll hear:

How your focus and environment shape your reality

Why you keep getting more of what you don’t want

Simple shifts to reprogram your life’s feed

The power of curiosity and new experiences

Your algorithm is always listening. Feed it wisely!

In this quick powerful episode, we dive into the truth that 95% of what we do comes from the subconscious mind, while only 5% is driven by conscious thought. That means the way you show up in the world your habits, beliefs, responses, and even your sense of self is often rooted in programming you didn’t even choose.

I break down how your identity is shaped by old stories, roles, and expectations, and why shifting it is the key to true transformation. Using a powerful analogy about clothing, I explain how many of us are wearing “outfits” that no longer fit identities we’ve outgrown but haven’t released.

This is your invitation to take off what no longer belongs to you and start embodying who you actually are.

In this episode of Rebuilding Me: The Art of Starting Again, I’m diving into a conversation that started with a simple social media post and turned into something much deeper. We’re talking about getting real and raw with God.

This isn’t about quoting scriptures or having the perfect churchy language. This is about honesty. Vulnerability. And what it looks like to have a real relationship with a higher power not a performative one.

I open up about:

  • Why I talk to God like I would a close friend sometimes saying, “Bruh, why you got me out here like this?”
  • How many of us have been conditioned to “act” spiritual instead of being authentic
  • Why performative prayer can actually block connection
  • What it looks like to rebuild your foundation on truth, not perfection
  • And how your raw, unpolished self is the version God actually wants to hear from

If you’ve ever felt disconnected, unsure of how to pray, or like you have to “clean up” before talking to God this episode is for you. Come sit with me in the realness. You don’t have to perform here.

Key Quote:

“God can’t bless the version of you you’re pretending to be. He can only meet you where you really are.”

Reflective Prompt:

What’s one thing you’ve been holding back from saying to God because it felt too messy, too angry, or too real?

Say it. Today. Just as you are.

In this episode, I’m diving into something we all wrestle with at some point: wondering if we’re on the right path especially when nothing feels clear, and everything familiar seems to disappear. But what if the confusion… is actually a gift?

I talk about how not having everything mapped out is an invitation to create from a blank slate. When the old path fades, we’re no longer bound by expectations, past decisions, or the pressure to follow someone else’s blueprint. It’s in that uncertain space where your true path starts to emerge one that’s aligned with who you are now, not who you used to be.

If you’ve been asking, “Am I still on the right path?” this episode is for you. Let’s talk about trusting the unknown and giving yourself permission to build something entirely new.

In this episode, I reflect on what it really means to start again and how sometimes the very experience we’re afraid of repeating is actually the key to our next breakthrough. I talk about my journey of relaunching my home care agency in a new state, and how I was initially paralyzed by the idea of rebuilding from scratch. But with some inner work and perspective, I realized my past wasn’t meant to hold me back it was a blueprint.

Whether it’s caregivers, clients, or comfort zones, this is about learning to connect the dots between where you’ve been and where you’re meant to go. Are you letting your past be your anchor or your launchpad?

In this episode, I go back to a Instagram post from 2019 when I had a vision, a fire, and a message I knew the world needed. But somewhere along the way, I let them silence me. I let someone else’s comfort dictate my creativity. I changed the name, softened the message, and dimmed my truth because I was told, “It might offend sponsors.” Spoiler: The vision never happened. Not because I wasn’t capable, but because it stopped being mine. This episode is for anyone who’s ever filtered their voice for approval. For the woman who’s been reshaping herself to fit into spaces she was born to transform. It’s time to reclaim your vision. And your voice. Tune in and let this be your reminder: Authenticity is not optional.

In this episode, Tisha reminds us that confusion is not from God. When we keep putting indecision and doubt into the universe, we create a fog that keeps us paralyzed. But when we make a decision even if it’s messy, imperfect, or uncertain; we create space for divine support to meet us.

There is no such thing as a wrong decision. Every path leads to growth, alignment, and purpose. Some roads just come with harder lessons.

Our subconscious mind is the deepest and most powerful part of ourselves, constantly working behind the scenes, operating about 95% of what we do. But our subconscious mind can also work against us, programming limiting beliefs in us from our environment that often emerge as self-sabotaging behaviors. Have you ever thought to yourself “They are out of my league” or struggle to ask for help due to fear of rejection?

In this episode, Tisha reveals how we can win the battle of me versus me, penetrating the subconscious mind to change the story and reprogram our core beliefs. Listen in as she reveals that the true power is understanding yourself and shares her actionable tips to invalidating restricting beliefs.

“We’re determining our success off of other people until we get to this consciousness - a way of awareness - to say, wait a minute, let me come up with my own definition of what success means to me.”

Some of the practices she mentions are important things like meditation, getting connected to Mother Earth, feeling in order to heal, and more! She also reminds the listeners that it’s good to have compassion for yourself. Everyone is in a transitioning time, and we need to give ourselves compassion. It’s okay if you need to disconnect to reconnect, or if you don’t even know how you’re feeling.

In this episode, Tisha shares an experience that just happened that reminded her about how we are being protected and guided. This episode will help us realize that everything happens for a reason and that giving in to fear will only keep us from living our lives to the fullest.

Sometimes the universe speaks to us, and we need to learn to trust that voice when we hear it because even if we don't understand in the current moment, everything happens for a reason and we will understand one day.

She also talks about fear and how you can be so fearful of something, that you let it kill you inside, sometimes even in real life. Listen to the full episode to hear about how her uncle’s fear of falling down the steps led him to almost losing himself in a fire. We must not allow fear to hold you back.

While we're amidst a time in history that many are mourning, Tisha invites us to understand she is grateful for right now to be black in America because she gets to be a part of the change.

Tisha kept hearing from spirit that she needs to talk about injustice and the killing of our black men and the lack of humanity in this weeks episode. Tisha opens up about dealing with racism with her children and a time when her daughter was in the 1st grade, there was a little boy that was picking on her. Her daughter used her courage to ask the boy why he kept picking on her and he told her, "he didn’t like her because she was black."

"As a mother, as a black mother, your heart just breaks."

Tisha feels as if most mothers are living in fear because the thing she always tells her son in regards to how to react when dealing police officers is exactly what George Floyd did. He complied, and he Is dead. As a mother, you’re in fear everyday for your children and their interactions with law enforcement. You’re afraid because those men being killed and televised could be your son.

An animal’s life is more important than human lives at this point. The burning of a building or a car or a bus is far less important than human lives. All of it has insurance you can get it back tomorrow, but a human life cannot come back tomorrow.

If you’re privileged, you need to first acknowledge that you are privileged. It is up to us to do the work. We have to get out of that mindset. We have to understand that our current circumstances don’t define who we are. We have people so concerned with their reputation, their followers, with their business, the money they’re going to make or that they’re going to lose it or their audience that they wont speak up or even acknowledge what is happening.

Tisha asks us to ask ourselves, "where is your racism at within yourself?" We need to change the laws. We have to ask ourselves instead, why do we even have to say “Black lives Matter”? Is it because we’re being shown that black lives don’t matter.

The most important question to ask yourself during this time is are you a part of the problem or a part of the solution?

In this podcast Tisha talks about meaning. Everything means nothing. People give things meaning.

She challenges the listeners to think...What are you giving meaning to? Is it your meaning or somebody else’s meaning? What is the meaning behind a relationship? Society has given labels, statuses and meanings that are false. We can make the meaning of whatever it is that we want.

Every single person is going to have a different meaning behind something. We give meaning to words, value, titles, situations but it’s important that whatever you're give meaning to, that’s what it means to you and not anybody else.

She shares that everything is in perfect divine timing. The thing that you’re resisting the most, might be what you need to do. Stop resisting and explore. Do something different. We evolve and grow by changing.    She explains that control is such an illusion. Post what you want, say what you want. Do something that you like. It may be the thing that may put you to the best course of your life. Your current circumstance doesn’t define who you are. You can co-create alongside the universe. When you’re putting your energy into something, the universe is going to match that energy.

Tisha kicks off today's episode by showing gratitude for three things, and explains the power of showing the universe what you're grateful for. The more things you’re grateful for the more things will come to you.

Since May is Mental Health Awareness Month, Tisha uses this episode as a mental health check in with all of her listeners. We all have mental health issues and concerns, and she gives advice on how to do a take care of your mental health.

Self-love plays an important part of mental health- spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

No matter what circumstance you’re in, what your situation is, and you feel down and depressed and rock bottom, whatever it is, dont ever count yourself out, and don’t ever feel like you can’t blossom again. No matter what you’re going through it doesn’t define who you are. No matter how down and out you are, you can always blossom.

This episode will show you the importance of doing a mental check in with yourself. Check with our body. How are you feeling? What burdens are you holding on to? Break it down so that way you’re able to digest and really come from that place of understanding. Do not avoid triggers, use it as an invitation to look at where it is that you need to make some changes.

Trusting in your higher power & knowing when to walk away.

Tisha first shared the three things she is grateful for:

  • Amber alert – it allows information to get into the hands of whatever area it is suspected to help the children.

  • Music – Music has always been her therapy. Music takes her down memory lane and remembering the challenges she’s gone through.

  • Good friendships and conversations – she’s been a lot more socials during this time. Connecting with other people makes her feel good.

This time, Tisha is joined by her friend Trasha. Trasha recently left her husband and Tisha invited her to her podcast because she’s had clients dealing with the relationships that are not serving them anymore but they’re afraid to go.

They start with the three things Trasha is grateful for.

  • Peace of mind
  • A flow of income – the ability to work from home.
  • Being alive – even in the midst of everything that’s going on, we’re alive and well.

We can have heaven on earth if we just take care of ourselves. Joy is a euphoric place because regardless of what’s going on, you can’t be shaken. Everything that we need is within us we just need to tap into it.

In 2016, Trasha’s daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. There’s something spiritual about sickness. The doctor told her that they know how to treat it and that they have a plan. She believed it was God speaking through the doctor.

She immediately humbled herself and surrender to the process. When you take control of stuff, you mess it up.

Nobody wants to hear that their child got cancer but that was the most beautiful experience of illness she ever encountered. Her daughter did not experience any side effects they said she would experience.

There is a Higher Power that if you give in and let go and surrender things always work out for your highest good. We are in control of very little in this universe. Control is linked to pride and pride comes before every fall.

Her daughter’s hair started falling and they had to cut it but instead of being sad, her daughter got excited instead.

Trust the process. Release control.

During the time she also struggled at work and with her son. She also was dealing with marital issues but she still walked through all of it without losing her mind. It was because her faith was stronger than everything that was going on around her, she released everything and put things in God’s hands.

She said 2019 is the year she walks away from all the bondage.

It was so much more than walking away from the relationship. It was a process. The eyes she viewed her marriage in prior to walking through the storm of her daughter’s illness were not the same eyes that she had when she came back to focusing on her marriage. She was able to see a lot of ugliness in the process of her daughter being sick and she was able to see things at the core of what they really were. God equipped her with everything she needed to walk away.

Trasha encourages us to understand when you are hurting that is it. Don’t sit in it because it’s only going to hurt more and then you will have to recover that much more. We know what we should be doing and when we don’t do it the universe will do it for us and it’s always much more painful.

You have to get out of the idea that it’s somebody’s fault. When you focus on what the other person did, you don’t grow.

This week, Tisha was with her friend Billy to talk about struggling with identity.

She asked Billy for the three things he is grateful for. He said he is grateful for his son and daughter, the second thing is early mornings sitting on his porch drinking tea, and the third thing he is grateful for is this time because he can see a lot of opportunities.

When you decide to grow that’s when “the bottom falls out” because you will be questioning your existence. It will feel like you’re going crazy, it will feel like free-falling, it will feel like you have nothing to lean on.

Your true identity has nothing to do with who you really are. Your true identity allows you to recreate yourself time and time again. You never should fall in love with a new way of thinking.

The real true belief if is believing that basically you can change it.

Whatever happened that you’re avoiding, sit with it. Feel any emotion that comes out of it. Don’t avoid it. It will always come back until you deal with it. Our dark side should be nurtured and accepted.

The thing that makes you different makes you valuable.

The Joker Effect

When Heath Ledger played the Joker he took the script and went into a hotel room for about a month and he became the Joker.  He got so far into the role that he transformed his life. If he did it for an acting role, why can’t we do it with our lives for the better?

Go so far into your character that you lose yourself and not go back to your old self.

If you want something better in your life you don’t have to wait for it to happen, you act it right now. You have the ability to be as the Joker did and change the entire course of your life, just act the role up.

It’s easier to read a script that someone else gave but it’s hard being yourself. Change to grow. Those who succeed in life are those who are willing to change.

Be careful who you’re around because sometimes people are writing the scripts for you. Stop letting people write your script and lead your life. Check yourself and ask yourself “What character are you playing? Do you even like this character?”

Have a desire. Be honest with yourself. If you don’t like it don’t do it, stop lying to yourself and be willing to make a change.

Tisha starts by sharing the three things she is grateful for in this present moment.

  • Pain on her right shoulder – what’s going on in our body is a manifestation of something that’s going on internally.
  • A recent client – a client asked her if she experienced something that the spirit helped to guide her through. That question reminded her of her strength and growth, and of the importance of sharing your experiences with people.
  • The transition she’s feeling right now – she feels that she is growing.

Today's episode is about facing our inner child. The inner child is the person that we once were. The experiences and people that are stored those memories or beliefs and the impact it had on us. It then travels with us into adulthood.

We all have our inner child that’s wounded and needs to be healed.

3 types of childhood neglect:

  1. Emotional Neglect – when our parents or guardians didn’t show any interest in your emotional needs. The effect may be low self-worth, low self-esteem, repressed emotions.
  2. Psychological Neglect – when our parents or guardians didn’t listen or embrace who you are. It may develop deep anger issues.
  3. Physical Neglect – not shown that we’re being protected and provided our basic needs and not feeling loved. It may turn to an eating disorder and addictions.

It’s important for us to understand our inner child. In order to heal, we must understand where it came from so we can get to the root of it.

Parents should be mindful of what they say to their children.

If you want to know why you do the things that you do, look back at your childhood. Our subconscious mind is who we really are and our conscious minds are what we do. "Anxiety lives in the future and depression lives in the past."

If there is one thing we can all agree on right now its that we are being presented with an abundance of time.

But the choice of what to do with it requires that we learn to trust ourselves. Tisha explains for some us that may be to rest, to build, to learn, or to create but that is truly up to you having an inward journey and not what someone else tells you.

We are all enduring a very uncomfortable phase, it's not all laid out and we just feel stuck in the middle. So the best thing we can do during this time is be willing to be open, listen to ourselves and our intuition and trust this process as it is part of a shift.

Have you ever questioned your decisions or places you end up and wonder if your making a poor choice? Possibly a waste of time?

Tisha opens up about a recent personal experience that reminded her that we are ALWAYS exactly where we are supposed to be. Unfortunately, our lack of patience and inability to be present robs of us the exact experience we are supposed to have.

We are all here for a reason, to evolve, grow, and love others through experience. Experiences are typically created in the most unexpected places, Tisha brings us this real episode to remind us of that.

Whether your discussing goals, telling a story, fighting for your beliefs, or sharing your side.....have you ever wondered why you believe in what you believe? Not whether it's wrong or right but why you believe your perspective? And then found yourself wondering where someone you know got their perspective, because you could never see life that way??

In this episode, Tisha truly helps us consider that one of the biggest mistakes we can make is believe that we can't get along or stay friends with people that believe differently than we do. Perspective is just that, perspective. She encourages us to understand that in order to live life from a place of abundance we must be willing to understand, accept, and consider life through the eyes of others while respecting our own.
