I've had the privilege of sitting down and talking with some incredible people from all walks of life. They share their own stories about overcoming adversity . We talk about the positive lifestyle changes they have made and life lesson learned along the way. Hope you enjoy and can take something from it.
I first met Charles when he came in to talk at a Men's Mental Health workshop that we had organized with our group "How's The Head." It was one of the most powerful and possibly life-changing two hours of my life. From the education on beliefs and values and where they develop to the insights we all gained from working through his practical step-by-step workbook. We had 90 men in the room, and it was incredible to witness so many men being so open about their struggles, insecurities, and issues they are dealing with.
In this interview Charles discusses his life growing up in commision housing with his mother and four sisters in a rough area of Sydney. How travelling and adventures, such as trekking through the Amazon, to house parties in favellas, solo trips to South America, Africa, and the Middle East, began to change his perspectives and views that he had been conditions through his up brining.
We discuss the mysterious shadow work and inner child work. If you've never heard of these practises or are sceptical, this interview will provide some great insight into what they are and how effective they are in changing your perspective and how you view the world around you. Aside from his fascinating life story and the incredible work Charles is doing, he is bloody hilarious and a great down-to-earth guy it was a pleasure to sit down and talk with him. Make sure to check out his social media his content is hilarious and informative.
I hope you enjoy our conversations.
